"Listen to the Buzz Open since 2000, Victrola is a fixture on the 15th Ave strip, and its mismatched outdoor seats are always full of patrons sipping coffee drinks and enjoying the people-watching. The cafe features art openings and local art on its walls, and the occasional live band on the weekend. At Victrola's online store, you can buy single-origin coffees and blends, including the popular Streamline Espresso served in their cafes. There's a roasting schedule posted on their website, so you'll know when to expect your beans; they're shipped within 12 hours of roasting."

Victrola Coffee Roasters is one of Capitol Hill’s most enduring cafés — a space that feels rooted in Seattle’s coffee culture. Step inside and you’ll find a warm hum: the hiss of steaming milk, grinders at work, and sunlight pouring through large windows onto brick and wood walls. It’s equal parts neighborhood hub and coffee temple, where regulars and first-timers both feel at home. The Coffee Victrola is all about clarity and balance. The espresso is rich and clean, cappuccinos and lattes are smooth without being heavy, and pour-overs highlight distinct origin notes. For those looking beyond espresso, options like cold brew, kombucha on tap, and loose-leaf teas round out the menu. Prices are fair for the quality, and the drinks consistently deliver what makes Seattle coffee famous — craft without pretension. Service & Atmosphere Service is friendly but precise, with baristas who know their coffee and happily walk you through beans, brewing methods, or milk alternatives. The vibe shifts depending on the time of day: mornings buzz with commuters and laptop workers, while afternoons lean relaxed with people settling in at tables or by the windows. The atmosphere is cozy, creative, and unmistakably Capitol Hill. More Details • Vegetarian options: Vegetarian-friendly pastries and snacks are usually stocked, though the focus is on drinks. • Dietary restrictions: Multiple milk alternatives (oat, almond, soy, breve) are available; syrups can be added or left out to adjust sweetness. • Parking: Street parking only; can be tight during rush hours. Best to walk or use public transit if nearby. • Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly in the daytime, with simple drinks like hot chocolate or steamers that work well for younger visitors. • Wheelchair accessibility: Ground-level entry, spacious seating, and restrooms accessible to wheelchairs. Final Take Victrola Coffee Roasters is more than a café — it’s a cornerstone of Seattle’s coffee identity. Five stars for consistently excellent coffee, knowledgeable baristas, and a space that feels both historic and current.

This review is about sustainability only! 😌 By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. While I so appreciate that you offer real, reusable mugs in house, I was sad to see that most folks staying for their coffee to work or meet a friend, were drinking out of single use plastics heading to the landfill. (Over 95% of plastics that we recycle don’t actually get recycled). Because you clearly have dishwashing infrastructure (see: the dish bins!), I wonder how you could better articulate for-here options to your customers? Maybe asking if they’re staying. Or promoting reuse on socials. Or sell aluminum canned water instead of plastic bottled. But we can’t keep normalizing this mess. Customers and businesses must be meeting halfway to chip away at the plastic pollution crisis. Thanks for considering my feedback—especially as a local shop in a waterfront city!

Surprisingly this place has really good oat milk. Tasted great when I added it into my golden turmeric chai. Warm welcoming barista with knowledgeable suggestion on drinks.

On my way to Volunteer Park, I came across Victrola Coffee Roasters and decided to pop in. I ordered a cappuccino, which came with a nice touch of sparkling water on the side. The cappuccino was fantastic! Smooth, rich, and just delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to sit and chat with friends. I’m really glad I stopped by and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!

This place was terrible. The service was fine, but the lattes had barely any espresso in them, and the coffee flavor was very faint. I ordered an iced tea, and they made me wait 5 minutes for it to steep, and then they handed me what legitimately looks like water. It had the faintest taste of tea ever. It was worse than dutch brothers iced tea when they're in a rush. Don't bother wasting money here.

Sweet baristas, but genuinely some of the WORST coffee I have ever tried. Firstly, the price was insane, with tip I paid about $7 for a 12 oz drip. Which in fact, tasted like a drip of coffee with 95% water. My friend, who got a 8 oz chai paid $7 before tip, and it was also awful. I could not finish my drink, and left feeling down money and very dissatisfied

Great spot! There are 6 areas of various types of seating - including a set of single tables full of laptop workers - great place for working. Smells of delicious coffee- soy latte was super. They are have a nice tea menu.
