Wow! This has to be the best egg drop soup I’ve had! It was my favorite item I ate during my visit but everything was still delicious. Stopped with some friends and we all tried from each others plates. Every single dish was amazing! Now I understand why they can get busy here!

Google
Visited with a group of friends and ordered their shrimp, intestine, green beans, chicken, and hot pot. Which was enough for 6 adults. Food was pretty good, but there are certain items the other Chinese restaurant down the street does better Be prepared to have the meal family style as the rice was given to us in a pot which was well thought and kept the rice warm while we were eating. Despite the American origins of Orange Chicken, Jun Dynasty serves pretty good Orange Chicken and it wasn't too starchy and not much batter to it as well. The spicy Hot pot had a mixture of tofu skin, beef, and fish and having it on a cold night is very soothing. Firecracker Pig Intestine could've been cleaned a little more as there was still a nasty smell coming from it, but reheating the leftovers solved it. Despite the large size, the shrimp was quite batter heavy. We were seated in their round tables and was almost rejected for a different table as there were not many people at that time. While the restaurant only had 5 tables seated, it was hard to get the servers' attention.

I been living in Tucson for 2 years and been to so many Chinese places and I can’t believe this paradise is only 10 mins away. Food is BOMB! It is always on point and my go to place. The service is amazing. They are so friendly and they serve you so quickly. Amazing amazing amazing! Even take out is amazing. I am a loyal customer. Only Chinese place I will eat at. Thank you Jun Dynasty for being amazing. ❤️

Google
I have been here a few times for dine in and it was always a great experience but I ordered takeout for the first time in a few years. My first order on the app gave me $3 off. The sesame chicken was perfectly sweet and spicy and the dumpling sauce made the dumplings even better. Recommend ordering from here :)

Google
We tried the Yu Xiang Eggplant and the Peking Style Pork and both were excellent. The yu xiang dish is definitely great if you love a tangy, sweet sauce. The hot and sour soup and fried buns are also excellent appetizers. I'd definitely come back here.

Google
Great selection of dishes and extremely tasty, and you can go from mild to wild. The service was second to none. Quick service and friendly people. The atmosphere is quaint but a little outdated. Overall, I recommend it to all.

Google
Everytime we go here, it's an even better experience. Excellent service, very quick food service (faster than fast food these days), a good environment, and awesome tasting Chinese food. So far, the best in Tucson.

Google
The best Chinese food I've had in Tucson, so far. I was with a few friends and we were served drinks and our food orders within 20 minutes of sitting down. The food was hot and delicious, and the portion sizes were on point.

Yelp
Super excellent service, very comfortable. I ordered the chicken chow fun, walnut shrimp and hot tea. Both dishes were very tasty and in my opinion nicely cooked. Not many other restaurants that l have found make chow fun, so this was pretty pleasant. I would definitely go back and try some more dishes. Nice!!

Yelp
Just wanted/needed takeout. So ordered the broccoli chicken and the green onion beef on line. By the time I got there the food was done and bagged and Ives's in and out in 10 sec. I was happy they put everything inside these impenetrable plastic containers because the ride home on our city streets was plenty bumpy. I finally got the containers opened and was oh so underwhelmed with the taste. There was plenty of broccoli but the sauce was bland brown uninspired and watery even if they had dumped in an extra helping of garlic. The beef dish wasn't any better. There were some green in it along with probably an entire sliced yellow onion with the same poor excuse for a sauce as the chicken. These were not cooked by a Chinese chef. Nothing in this order was elevated to best in town flavor , no taste that goes with being made in a wok. Say something nice. I Did. The order was ready when I got there. Even on a bad day I can make a better Chinese stir fry sauce. I won't pickup here again.

Yelp
I think the Chinese is close to American flavors than Chinese taste. Maybe I just need more msg who knows. But very popular with the locals and food is fresh. To me lacked a little more flavor or msg. My goal was to pair the dishes with plain white rice and kinda did not hit that spot. Still I would recommend all locals to go because they already do :)
google avatar

Yelp
I love that their menu has so many gluten friendly options and that it is clearly labeled. The best thing I ate were the garlic green beans. They were so good I had to go back for a birthday lunch so family could also try them. They can get busy so it's nice they have a dedicated parking lot so that you can always find parking easily. The service was good and I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Pneelie P.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and we went with a large group. The service was fine for two large tables. The food however is more like Chung King. I had the broccoli beef. The broccoli was raw, it was loaded with barely cooked onions, and there wasn't very much beef. My friends orange chicken was better. The pork ribs were pretty good. There were no Chinese vegetables in anything. Very Americanized. I don't think I'll go back.

Yelp
I now have a favorite Chinese (Szechuan to be exact) restaurant in Tucson! Everything was perfection-from the pork dumplings with chili oil (one of their signature appetizers according to our fine server) to the vegetable hot pot, complete with a flame underneath to keep the broth simmering the multitude of veggies like mushrooms, cabbage, peppers, and tofu to name a few - and two kinds (that I counted) of flavorful noodles: one had a long, thin soft texture and the other was broad and flat. Our waitress was at our table within seconds of my arrival. I met my friend there about 4:15 so it was deceptively quiet inside - fast forward to 6 pm as we left a bustling, packed restaurant. She was already seated a few minutes earlier enjoying her Arnold Palmer (chocked full of fresh lemon slices and ice). I wasn't sure if the iced milk tea would be too sweet so I asked for a sample and she brought it, fast. It was a definite yes, as it had that delicate balance between sweet and bold black tea flavor. I wanted to try other options from the vast menu but settled on my old stand by, Kung Pao chicken. The thin, juicy slices of chicken, carrots and red and green pepper had just enough peanuts sprinkled throughout a spicy yet delicate sauce the Sichuan region is known for. According to a quick search, Sichuan cuisine relies heavily on ingredients like garlic, dried chilies, and Sichuan peppercorns to create its signature "mala" (numbing and spicy) sensation, whereas "Chinese food" can encompass many other regional styles that are often less spicy. I experienced this fun numbing effect while sampling her vegetable hot pot - and my chili oil dressed, tender pork dumplings. I'll go back for the Xinjiang Beef she mentioned was a speciality. They also have a meat version of the Spicy Hot Pot that has everything from beef to seafood to pork belly. I'm already looking forward to it.

Yelp
First time here and on a Saturday it was packed. Had heard good things so decided to come for dinner. We ordered the Mongolian beef, low mein, and egg rolls. It was decent for Korean food.

Yelp
Ok, so I was never a " crave Chinese food" person. Let me tell you that this place has made me that person! My husband and I have gone back every weekend since we discovered this place 1 month ago. Every time we go back we try a new dish. No disappointments yet and I don't think we will ever be disappointed. My favorite is the vegetable hot pot. The texture of all the delicious vegetables and different forms of tofu are amazing! The service was amazing the first time, I should say super friendly but since then we've had a server who is quick but not friendly so maybe that's a slight complaint, she's walking right in the line of being rude. This has not stopped us from returning. One thing I always pay attention to is the cleanliness and esthetic and this restaurant hits all the marks.

Yelp
Lots of variety and made fresh to order. High quality meats and other ingredients. Loaded with flavors. Table loved the fried buns, which were like little pockets of sweet and fluffy donut. The wontons/dumplings were also a highlight. The brisket noodle soup was very flavorful and loaded with noodles, but there were several pieces of meat that had a lot of rubbery skin attached. Orange chicken had a nice, light and crispy fried exterior and sweet sauce. Shrimp were clean. Everything was tasty, so you can't go wrong.

Alexiz A.

Yelp
We come here at least once a month. We have a few go to items which are the sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, steamed or pan fried dumplings and the chicken egg rolls. We've tried a few of the shrimp amd pork dishes but the ones listed are the best! Another favorite is the vegetable in garlic sauce. The service is always 10/10 and they do tend to get busy in waves along with alot of to go orders. Jun is one of our favorite places to eat.
google avatar

Chuck R.

Yelp
This is a very good Chinese restaurant. Been here multiple times, and the service is always friendly and prompt. The food is tasty and authentic....better than what would have expected in a city known for its Mexican cuisine. The ambience is okay. It can be noisy but that lends to the experience.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't review Jun Dynasty yet. It's one of my two very favorite places in Tucson for authentic non Americanized Chinese dishes (the other is Jewel's Noodle house- a must try too, see my review!). At Jun Dynasty I love the Stir Fried Hot & Sour shredded potatoes (they reduced the spice level, I recommend asking for spicy if you eat spicy) , the Jalapeno W/ Dried Tofu sheet noodles, and the Yu Xiang Eggplant. Great service, great atmosphere, nice outdoor seating. Vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Yelp
All my coworkers recommended this place and I was not disappointed Delicious big portions Nice clean service area Staff were super friendly even post lunch rush I had shrimp fried rice and orange chicken, spouse had general tso chicken Everything came out hot and shockingly fast for how quality everything tasted 10/10

Yelp
I had the nicest lunch outing with my son Jack at Jun Dynasty. "Best Chinese food I have ever had" he proclaimed. Service was excellent and they remodeled since I was last there so the vibe was improved. Excellent eggplant!!
google avatar

Kirsten D.

Yelp
This place is so delicious! The food is always fresh and flavorful. Haven't tried something yet that wasn't awesome. Service is solid and prices are fair!

Cathy C.

Yelp
I ordered the Mongolian beef with a side of eggrolls. The Mongolian beef was very very greasy and I found five peanuts in with my Mongolian beef. lucky I don't have a peanut allergy.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic Sichuan in Tucson. Ma la taste. Try the Yu Shiang dishes, Kung Pao chicken and cumin lamb
google avatar

Yelp
You cannot stop in Tucson without a hot pot experience from Jun ! It's one of the top Chinese food flavor explosions you can have in town . A must try !

Yelp
Just an update to my review of 12/29/2024. The shrimp lo mein was delicious. Only thing strange is you get rice with noodle dishes. Just odd, but still excellent. Service is always good, drinks refilled promptly. Very busy no-frills dining room but clean.

Yelp
What a delightful surprise! I came here for lunch today with my son. Neither of us had been here before, but we are so glad we gave it a try. We both had lunch specials. Mine was the hot and sour soup, sesame chicken with white rice and a vegetarian eggroll. It was the best hot and sour soup either of us ever had! The eggroll was hot, crispy and delicious. The chicken perfect. My son had the same sides in addition to the Kung pao tofu. He loved it and ate every single bite. The ambience was very cool and modern. The service was prompt and friendly. I cannot wait to come back and try more dishes, it's really that good.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I did not expect for the food to be this good. My first time coming here was with my friend and she was raving about this place. I had a few mediocre experiences with Chinese food in Tucson but this place has earned every star. Service is really quick and attentive when I have sat in. Pick up can be a long wait so definitely plan for that. I have tried the sesame chicken and it is always amazing. Lunch special is 11. Can't beat that The atmosphere is casual and afterwork. Very cozy place and always clean

Yelp
Truly abysmal dining experience. We came toward the end of a rush so we understood that it would take a ut longer. However, after 3 tables that came on after us, got their food, ate, paid their bill and left before our meal came out, we were pretty upset. No one came to check in on us. We had to hunt down our waitress for the check because she was just not available after 20min from finishing. After 45min before our wood even came out, the waitress informed us they were out of fried rice, which would have been nice to know while ordering. The food? Overall mediocre. The Dan Dan noodles and iced tea were great. However the Yu Xiang pork and Sweet and Sour soup wasn't and can best be described as "sugary," which is not a word I would have ever thought I'd use to describe Chinese food. The items listed as spicy were mild at best which was very disappointing and misleading. It's abundantly clear that they do not know how to handle a crowd and are not equipped for it. The only reason we came here was because Chef Wang was closed, which is a restaurant that actually is equipped for handling crowds. Honestly? Just go there? It's a few minutes down the street, better service, better food, better experience.

Yelp
I had dinner here last night with four friends. We shared tea, hot and sour soup, moo shu pork, Mongolian shrimp, and Xinjiang style beef. There was more than enough food for the five of us with just four dishes. I liked all of it, especially the shrimp and beef dishes. They are marked on the menu as spicy, but the spice level was actually pretty modest. I'm sure they can dial it up if you ask them to. Service was good. The ambiance is OK but not special. It was busy but not too noisy. The bill came to $18 per person including tax and tip.

Yelp
Delicious chinese takeout and dine in! Many different classic options, great fried rice, orange chicken, and dumplings. Great service and a nice spot for dinner.
google avatar

Van C.

Yelp
very authentic sichuan food. The spices they use are definitely from China, tastes exactly like what you get in a restaurant in Sichuan. like the dry chili and peppercorn in chongqing style chicken. One thing is if the chicken is smaller pieces, each piece would have more flavor, that would be better.
google avatar

Phillip F.

Yelp
I love Seczehuan food. I like it spicy. Their website looks so appealing. However this Chicken spicy dry hot pot was more like a stir fry, had no spice, Cheap chicken wing pieces not cooked well, and served with only mostly vegetables. This is the worst chinese food I have ever been served. The wattress said its their Jun dynasty style. It's bad!!!!!!! Avoid this is NO DYNASTY of any kind!
google avatar

Dane L.

Yelp
Very good Chinese food spot. I've only gotten take-out but food is always on point. Workers are always very nice when I come in to pick up the food. You have to make online orders through there app which is actually pretty nice because you get points towards future purchases. Big fan.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
I go to Jun Dynasty at least every month for the last year. The staff have always been phenomenal, truly so kind. Pictured is the lunch special. You get a soup + 1 egg roll + a choice of rice + a choice from a list. It's less than $14 for all those before tax. I always appreciate that they don't assume people in your party don't know how to use chopsticks. This is an issue at other places.

Yelp
Ive heard great things about this place and upon arriving around 7pm on a Sunday evening, it was busy, which I did not expect. There was no wait and we were led to a table near the front door. It's a pretty large restaurant but so busy that I really didn't get any pictures! Anyway, service was helpful and prompt. I ordered the fried buns as I had never seen them before and was curious. They come with a sweet sauce and we're just as pretty as the picture. I liked them but would enjoy them more as a dessert than an appetizer. My mom tried one of the soups, I can't remember which but it was good. I ordered the king pao chicken while she ordered the Mongolian beef. I wish I would have ordered differently as they seemed so similar. She also got bok choy in garlic sauce which I felt Lacked any garlic flavor and tasted just like eating the bok choy plain. I ordered the string beans and was disappointed they weren't very crispy, as I was expecting. My husband ordered a couple other dishes as well. We had a big spread and their secure take home containers were appreciated. At the end our total was around $105. I really wasn't wowed by this meal or any of the flavors. I feel like I've had better and it doesn't beat my go to Chinese spot. I may give it another chance another time.

Yelp
Visiting Tucson we stop by this place give it a try after looking at the 4star reviews . We had a cucumber salad kinda mild flavor it's ok . The Peking pork is nothing like what we normally eaten . Salty and abit taste like burnt soy . It's ok . Lastly spicy chicken . It's like kung pao chicken . I would say , it's a so so Chinese food , cater to more American than Asian taste buds.

Lawrence ..

Yelp
The best Mongolian Beef I've ever had--both tender and flavorful. I'll be going back or more!
google avatar

Veronica M.

Yelp
My friend invited me for dinner here and now it's one of my favorite Chinese restaurants here in Tucson! Great ambiance and our waitress was nice and attentive. And the food was amazing! If you don't mind spicy food and want something more authentic, I highly recommend the stew in flaming chili oil! But honestly everything was amazing! Can't wait to come again and try the rest of their menu!

Yelp
My group experienced dinner at Jun Dynasty on August 31, 2025. There were 28 of; so quite a large group. I was told we would be in the side/back room by ourselves. However that was not the case and two different parties were seated at a table in the corner during our time there. We all felt very sorry for those diners as our group was very noisy. This was the first time our group had experienced such extreme noise levels. It was really pretty awful. The room was not very large and for this many diners it really was not very enjoyable. Nonetheless most of our diners enjoyed their meals. Several of us enjoyed the wonton soup. I had the sesame chicken which was very good. My husband had the orange chicken which he enjoyed also. Other diners had the hot pot which was delicious. The only negative was in several of the dishes the vegetables were cut quite large and they were under cooked. Also many of dishes were not very hot. The staff did the best they could with such a large group and tried to be very accommodating. Nonetheless at times we had to get our own water or run the wait staff down for requests. I would recommend this restaurant, but definitely not for a large group. This is definitely a family restaurant. Even though our reservation was made 6 weeks in advance our presence seemed to impact the kitchen and the staff adversely. .

Yelp
Still a great place. One of my go-to meals has become the crispy honey walnut shrimp. SO good! Last time I went, though, they were completely out of it. (This happens sometimes with this dish.) The waitress, who always recognizes me, suggested the crispy honey walnut chicken. Hey, that's good, too! If the shrimp is a 10, the chicken is a 9.8 for enjoyment. This just a great Chinese restaurant, one of my two favorites in Tucson. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Yelp
I want to give a great review, I do. The people who work here are very friendly and the place was busy. I ordered Garlic Chicken to go. It was okay. Very watery, but I ate it cause I was very hungry. Not terrible just probably ordered something that wasn't very popular.

Tom B.

Yelp
The food was fantastic and the service is great. We had a good time there last night. I would highly recommend if you want good authentic Chinese food.
google avatar

Hunter Z.

Yelp
Best authentic Chinese food for the price. They have nice large family style portions and the service is always fast and attentive. One of my favorite places in Tucson for a delicious and filling lunch or a nice relaxing dinner

Yelp
We were in the area visiting from Southern California and this restaurant popped up on postmate. My husband and I ordered pretty basic plates but they were amazing. So much so that before we left to go back to Cali, we had to stop here. This time we came to the restaurant and our server was amazing. She was so attentive and made sure we had everything g we needed at all times. All the food was so fresh and tasted like it was just cooked. There are plenty of seats here and limited outdoor dining as well.
google avatar

Charis W.

Yelp
Clean interior, pretty decent service, and some dishes were better than others. Our party of four was seated immediately on a Saturday night. Mapo tofu - really good, spicy without it being overly numbing, 9/10. Cumin lamb - different from other cumin lamb that I've had other similar restaurants. It was pretty salty so I wouldn't order this again. 4/10 Dry fried green beans - probably my favorite dish, nicely seasoned 10/10. Beef chow fun - also really good 9/10 Deep fried buns with condensed milk- 10/10 Green scallion pancake - 8/10, a little overcooked and not as chewy as green, scallion pancakes usually are.
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
A solid Chinese-American restaurant. The food is fresh, arrived reasonably quickly and was quite good. We will definitely eat here again. The Hot and Sour Soup was excellent and I very much enjoyed the Mongolian Beef (better like onions if you order this dish!) The service was friendly and quick to take our order but there was no follow up and getting a second glass of water took some effort. We were here around 3 PM on. Sunday afternoon and arrived at the tail end of the mid-day rush. Their "lunch specials" end at 3 PM (7 days a week) and obviously the frugal diners had all arrived around 2. If you are not going to get one of the lunch specials on a weekend, it's probably best to arrive after 3.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
I just came back from living in China for 9 years and this is the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in Tucson. Service is friendly, atmosphere is good, it's clean and most importantly the food is very good
google avatar

Dylan H.

Yelp
Food was good normally I just go ahead and ask for soy sauce because I may have to put it on the fried rice, but not here the house fried rice is VERY GOOD and flavorful. I had the lunch special of Mongolian chicken theirs is a little spicy which I liked however way too many scallions (my only complaint) the lunch fried rice was also good and the hot and sour sauce was good. For flavor this place gets high rating for me. The portions are not bad but definitely not huge as some people implied. Staff members were nice, food came out promptly and was hot. Would recommend and I will return to try a few other items.
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
First timers. Staff was polite and friendly. Decorated nice. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. We had a group of 6 and didn't have a long wait for our food to arrive. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
We love the food here! Whenever we're craving Chinese we order from here. I personally love the green beans the best and my husband loves the orange chicken!
google avatar

Donna Y.

Yelp
First course was soup. The egg drop soup was smooth without the clumps that sometimes occur when thickening the soup. The hot and sour soup stole the show. The balance of spice and sourness was perfection. We ordered cashew shrimp but ended up getting shrimp and veggies. It's a bit loud since they are so busy but this was still delicious. I was impressed by the multitude of fresh veggies cooked perfectly. Nothing mushy. This will be on our let's come back list!!

Yelp
Best food and service ever. Can't wait to return!! They have a nice patio out front and the guys was very fresh. Service was courteous and friendly

Yelp
While visiting a close friend back in October 2023, he toured me around Tucson and highly recommended this place. I was blown away by the service & food! The staff were friendly and attentive. They were able to recommend the best dishes to suit our tastes (I don't do spicy food & my friend loves spice). The food was the best Chinese food I've had! I ordered a green bean appetizer & chicken noodle dish. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food in a nice, clean restaurant, this place is it!

Yelp
Absolutely the Best szechuwan food in Tucson!!! Great service - great Chef - outstanding Food

Yelp
If all youve had was panda express your whole life, your in for a treat. Friendly place, delicious food, and large portions. try the PooPoo platter as an appetizer. I aint even playing, its fun and delicious
