Had a very nice time tonight! The meat was great, especially marinated short rib and prime ribeye. Even the mushroom was so tasty. I love the truffle salt! Mark was our server and I have too much nice things to say about him. He’s super friendly, and respond to our requests very patiently. He also cooked the meat perfectly. I’ve been to 10butchers ~5 times, and he is the best server so far! The only complaint I have is with a female server. She is also Asian, wears glasses and has brown-yellow dyed hair, relatively short and medium body weight. I asked for water refill and she brings cold water, I nicely asked for hot water instead, and she seemed very impatient and unfriendly. She said “you asked for WATER” with super rude and annoyed voice like I did something wrong. This kind of attitude is so rare at this place.

We really like this place, the food is great, unlimited sides are very good, and service is excellent. I forget which cuts we like the most - I think wagyu beef - but they were all really good. The server cooks it for you, so it comes out consistent. The price is definitely on the high side, but considering the food, service and ambiance I consider it worth it. The starters are also great, beef tartar is excellent. They serve really good cocktails as well - old fashioned is well made.

The food at the restaurant was just average, and the prices were on the high side. $80 per person, drink is not included. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The premises were clean and modern. However, the server stood by our table and grilled the food most of the time. Personally, I prefer to grill the food ourselves without a stranger standing nearby, so we can talk freely during family and friend gatherings.

Google
Ten Butchers really lives up to the hype. The cuts here are next-level -- marbled short ribs, thick slices of pork belly, even sausage and veggies to round it out. Every bite was rich and flavorful, and the grill master at our table knew exactly how to cook everything to perfection. Watching the meats sizzle and then tasting them melt in your mouth is the kind of KBBQ experience you dream about. The banchan deserves its own shout-out -- fresh, varied, and seriously delicious. It wasn't just filler; it elevated the whole meal. Yes, the wait was about 50 minutes on a weekend, but once seated the service was attentive and the food came out quickly. By the end, I completely forgot I had been standing outside hungry -- it was that good. If you're serious about KBBQ, this is the spot. 5/5, would wait again.

Went there with a group of 12. Reservations strongly recommended even on a Tuesday evening. They asked us to preorder (3-4 days in advance) which was good but also odd to decide for the group. Food was delicious, they cooked the meat to perfection which warrants 5 stars. But the drinks service was very spotty and they were really not around to check on the tables Place was noisy They gave us a time limit because there was another reservation later in the evening, which was great on communication but we were essentially rushing to finish our meal. overall, great food but a few nuances that our group did not find exciting.

Google
This Korean BBQ place is the best I’ve ever been to. They have an incredible variety of meats, including octopus, Japanese and American wagyu, pork belly, and short ribs. The meat is incredibly tender, and the BBQ flavors are bursting out in every bite. I highly recommend this place. It’s pure bliss! ❤️❤️

Google
Felt Rushed, Not Relaxed The food quality was decent, but the service pace ruined the entire experience. The staff cooked everything for us at an incredibly fast pace, piling food on our plates without a break. We felt like the main goal was to get us out the door as quickly as possible for a high table turnover rate. It completely defeated the purpose of a sit-down meal with friends. We left feeling stuffed and stressed, not satisfied.

Google
This place is a must try. We got the beef tartar and bossom. The beef tartar was super good. We ordered rib fingers, pork jowl, and beef tongue for the bbq. The beef tongue is some of the best I've had. We also ordered cold noodle and noodle soup. Both were excellent and good portion. They have great service and cooks the food for you. Very attentive. Price is on the higher end tho!

Yelp
I'm so happy with the lunch at 10 Butchers because of their flawless execution. I thought I could be immune from waiting on a weekend lunch, I was wrong! When we arrived at 12:30pm, we were informed of a 30 minutes wait. Then after we waited about 15 minutes, they called me to inform me they have a table ready. But when we got inside, we still had to wait about 5 minutes before we were led to the table. However, we were led to a side room where it's more quiet and with less smokey air, I like it. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, but their huge Christmas tree was already setup. They also have their cocktail samples in display near the entrance. They have a meat counter open for display and the meat was beautifully placed on a wooden plate waiting to be delivered to each table. The menu was not overly complicated but it has a few interesting options for me. We started with a wagyu galbi mandoo appetizer, then as we were just eyeing for entrees, we couldn't resist ordering the bbq meat to try. We landed with #2 rib cap, #4 US wagyu chuck flap and #8 US Wagyu outside skirt. Their menu has a clear picture of the cow to show which part of the meat we were going to eat. The same goes for the pig but they only have pork belly and jowl. On the entrees, we picked short rib soup with rice cake (Ddukguk) and beef tendon soup with seaweed (Dogani Miyeokguk). Although our waitress suggested that we should order one more meat, we couldn't finish all the food! We left the Ddukguk almost untouched and had to pack it home. Banchan was delivered first and we were impressed. With all our years of Korean dining experience, 10 Butchers banchans not only were the most dynamic, but also the most generous. We had green onion and onion salad with light soy sauce, egg and seafood cake, cold tofu, fish cake, purple yam mash, kimchi, cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled leaves, and many more. And we were even more pleased with their spectacular services. Without us asking, our waitress seamlessly brought in more banchan to replace the dishes that we finished while grilling meat for us. Our selection of meat was beautifully presented on a wooden plate and brought to our table. Our waitress even held up the plate so we could take a nice picture of it. And ues, all meat was grilled for us. We didn't have to get our hands dirty or accidentally burn our meat. The metal plate was replaced after one round of grilling, which was for 2 kinds of meat. They also gave us mushroom and pepper complementing the meat. After grilling, each strip of meat was cut evenly into smaller sizes where each of us had 3 pieces. We were provided with 2 kinds of salt for seasoning, and a bowl of pickled water with apple and white radish. I'm not a sour food fan, so I skipped that bowl. Three pieces of meat was perfect for 3 bites, one bite of its authentic flavor, one bite with a dip in the white salt, and the last bite a dip on the pink salt. I honestly couldn't quite tell the differences among the meat but the cap seemed the most fattening to me. Each bite was fresh, soft and juicy. The extra meat that was not delivered to our plate was left on the grill with a separate metal stack holding it, so they don't get cooked too quickly. Eventually they got a bit dry as the heat from the metal burn plate got to them but nothing was wasted. The beef tendon soup with seaweed was also filing and excellent. Our waitress split the soup for us into 2 bowls and each bowl was loaded with generous tendon pieces and seaweed. The soup was flavorful and rich with a slight texture of collagen. At the end of the meal, a small free strawberry frozen yogurt was provided. The women's bathroom deserves a small paragraph as each stall was stocked up with more than 5 rolls of toilet paper; it gives me a sense of care and security that the guests were taken care of in a well thought out manner. They even have lotion and floss laid out on a separate vanity area with a big mirror. I see staff member coming in to check on the bathroom condition, which is reassuring. When I first entered the restaurant, I smelled the barbeque meat aroma and was worried about walking out smelling like a piece of the bbq meat myself. However, the way they design the grill let the smoke evaporate on the side of the grill so that the guests were not roasted with the extra aroma. I went home and I couldn't smell the meat smoke on myself, which is another nice surprise. This is also the first time in a restaurant that I felt an automatic service fee should be added to the bill to award the flawless services the staff is providing to the guests, they sure earned it! Total damage for the lunch was slightly over $300 just for food without any beverages, but we were all very satisfied. Strongly recommend!

Yelp
Came here for my girlfriend's birthday last month. Good!... but very very pricey HAHA. Definitely come prepared to spend. Our table was ordering light and just got the A5 Wagyu, brisket, and galbi. Their meats were very high quality and it was cool being cooked for as opposed to the typical AYCE do-it-yourself structure for KBBQ. They also give you a dessert on the house for special occasions, which is just a cut up choco pie with whipped cream and strawberries on top lol. Service was alright. We had an older Asian woman who knew what she was doing, as our meats were cooked to perfection, although there was a bit of a language barrier. Nothing crazy. The ambiance is upscale, very clean and nice! I'll definitely come back every once in a blue moon for a special occasion.

Yelp
Had birthday reservations here and I wasn't sure what exactly to expect other than Korean BBQ but wow.. I can see the hype of this spot and instantly became one of my favorites. There's quite a lot to choose from but you can be very satisfied with just a few items. We ordered 3 different cuts of beef and tofu soup. While it doesn't seem much (even we questioned it..) it was really filling especially with the banchan! One of the cuts we ordered may have been incorrect. We ordered brisket but I think we got tongue and didn't realize this until a few days later after looking at the photos online and it wasn't the quality or flavor; just unexpected but also makes sense on why the taste and texture was not brisket. Wagyu Finger Ribs - this was really good and would order again A5 Japanese Wagyu - this is clearly the star of the show but still mind blowned from every bite. Kimchi Jjigae - always satisfying especially a meal that mostly contain grilled/charcoal meat. This whole meal was memorable and hopefully we'll get to try their brisket next time. The other cuts can easily be reordered again but also wanting to try everything on the menu! Such a great meal and can't wait for next time!

Yelp
Not sure where to even start! Sure it's a little pricey, but everything just tastes soooo good! The meats are of top quality. The banchan goes so well with it--we in particular loved the shiso leaves and the pancake pieces. Service was fast and very attentive. We went on Friday at like 3PM so no line at all! Also, knowing that it was my girlfriend's birthday, they even gave us a birthday treat made from Chocopie from Orion! The ingredients were simple but the display was beautiful, and as Chocopie lovers, this definitely was the perfect cherry on top!

Yelp
Restaurant was crowded but made a reservation a few days prior so was seated immediately. Ordered the Ribeye Prime, Pork Jowl, and Nakji Pajeon. Our waitress cooked the meat at the grill in front of us, and asked how we liked our beef cooked before proceeding. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was pretty tender, and the pork jowl had a nice flavor and texture. The Nakji Pajeon was alright. I really enjoyed the banchan, especially the sweet potato salad and squid! Service was great, and our waitress was really attentive. There's a parking lot that was filled when we got there.

Yelp
I've heard so much about this place so really excited to have had a huge reservation for dinner here recently so we were able to try a lot of different things with a large group. For starters, I feel like this is definitely a large group place. You get a lot of food, but in order to try all the different cuts & different dishes, you really need an army because its just too much for two, or perhaps even four. I love the fact that the team here cooks for you because they both take the work out of the cooking, but also makes it perfect. I understand many people may not consider 'perfect' to be medium rare but that's how you should be consuming these high grade meats! The side dishes were incredibly flavorful, but I have to say once you order and the food starts coming its like a FOOD ASSAULT. Like dishes just keep coming and you don't even have a minute to eat and much less room on the table to consume anything. This isn't a fault but they really do want to get you in and out. Definitely a must return for me though!

Yelp
This upscale KBBQ place in the bay did not disappoint! Ordered their wagyu brisket, marinated short ribs, and seaweed soup! Walked in, no reservation, on a weekday with no wait. Everyone complaining in the comments, either didn't plan or just aren't used to a little wait, bc they don't do same day reservations so you have to look a day in advance. When I did that, I saw plentyyyy of options. But even with that "inconvenience", as some would call it, there were plenty of people who still go and love the food, rightfully so!! The seaweed soup had the most tender beef ever and the broth was so flavorful, very umami and well rounded. Like I literally thought about it for days afterward. I know people come for the meat but I have to give respect where respect is due! I wasn't expecting much from the wagyu brisket, but gosh was I wrong!! It melts in ur mouth and leaves u wanting more. The marinated short ribs are obviously divine, it's a go to item for so many!! Marinated in a delicious sauce and each item they cook for you! My favorite! Especially with quality meat bc u don't want to ruin it. Now the ban chan came out first and let me tell you, it was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the real Dishes!! But anyways, the cucumbers are honestly comparable to din tai fung and the tofu was sitting in this amazing sauce that was so addicting. They also have this little marinated fish side, that might be sardines (?? if someone knows what that is, lmk!), and are probably my new favorite! Anyways long story short, definitely worth!

Yelp
One of my favourite Korean BBQ spots in the Bay Area! Came in on a Saturday evening at 7 with no reservation, and had to wait about 45min for a table for 2. It was totally worth it though. The Molly Tea nearby is a good sanctuary if you have to endure any waiting! The inside of the restaurant is spacious and it looked like they had a decent amount of seating. I was impressed with the quality of the side dishes. They give a wide variety and you can ask for free refills. Loved the quail egg, squid, and kimchi. Really loved that the scallions on the side are sliced super fine, makes it easy to pair with the meat without it being overwhelming. I tried their prime rib eye and black pork belly, both of which were amazing but the rib eye has a slight edge. They grill the meat for you table-side, which is a blessing because I would have definitely messed it up. The meat is high quality, and doesn't need any marinade because it's already so tender and flavourful. Also got the dolsot bibimbap for some carbs and it was well balanced between the meat, vegetables, and rice. I highly recommend the dolsot, you get some much-needed texture from the rice getting really crispy! They served a small complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. I don't know if they rotate it but we got strawberry sorbet. I didn't expect anything going in but it had a really strong, fresh strawberry flavour and was the perfect way to end the meal.

Yelp
I'm afraid this place may be overhyped. My friends and I have been trying to get reservations for a few months but always missed out because we were too last minute. I think this restaurant may be too busy or understaffed because we had some service issues. Our waitress didn't bring us our drink until 2/3 of the way through the meal, messed up one of the cuts we ordered, and generally acted pretty rushed. While I'm not normally a service harper, and while I emphasize with the load, for the price of this meal I was hoping for a bit more. The side dishes were delicous, but the seafood green onion pancake felt unfished as the bell peppers were pretty raw and I wasn't getting a ton of flavor. The meat cuts were tasty but I felt like they had a ton of unpleasant gristle/chewiness. Unfortunately I had just been to OLHSO in San Mateo a few weeks prior and that experience was leaps beyond 10 butchers in both service and meat quality for only a little bit more price. I would recommend OLHSO over 10 butchers if you're going to splurge. Logistics: - indoor seating only - limited strip mall parking outside - they cook the meat for you

Yelp
Upscale KBBQ place with high quality meat and great service. Wonderful sides and different entrees to choose from. Servers cook the meat for you here! The Banchan tasted fresh and had a radish/pear soup to cleanse. The sweet potato was my favorite side. Cucumbers were crisp. Fish cake was ok not much flavor except for sesame oil taste. Tofu went well with the soy sauce. Started off eight the wagyu brisket. The server coats the grill with a fatty piece and grills it just right. Brisket tender and has nice fat ratio. Goes well the salts they give and onions. The beef tongue was the perfect thickness. Great flavors, tender and wasn't too chewy. The marinated short rib bone in was my favorite of the night. Marinade gave the short rib a sweet pear like flavor and was delicious. Meat was super tender and the server cut the pieces of meat off the bone for you. They also grill a piece of mushroom and pepper with this cut in the marinade. Wagyu tofu soup was solid. Came out hot and the tofu was one of the best I've had. Fresh and super silky. Ended with a scoop of ice cream and strawberry. This place is on the pricier side but the meat quality, service, and sides make up for it. Would come back to try their other cuts. Limited parking in this plaza. They take Apple Pay here.

Yelp
Finally got to try 10 Butchers. 3.5 stars, maybe my expectations were high from what I had heard. The service is high end but you're definitely paying for it. Expensive for Korean bbq and while the meat quality was good, it's just a lot compared to other spots so I can't imagine coming often. It wasn't super busy even on a Sunday. My favorite was probably the marinated short rib. The meats are tender and soft, they grill for you to ensure it's not overcooked. Good banchan, salts and the pajeon was crispy.

Yelp
I came here for my friend's birthday and had an amazing experience. It's a great-sized restaurant with a great ambiance and phenomenal service. When you walk in, you're greeted and seated immediately. You have your own server, and ours was very attentive to all our needs. He recognized that it was our first time, let us pick what we wanted, and gave helpful suggestions for what to get. We ordered the A5 Ribeye, Regular A5, Pork Belly, Marinated Galbi and Galbi Jjim. Everything was excellent. Truly excellent. The Ribeye A5 was served with tasting salt and Japanese wasabi (not the horseradish American version), which really enhanced the meat's flavor. The regular A5 and Pork Belly were also really good, however, it was really hard to top that Ribeye A5. Next (in terms of deliciousness) would be the marinated Galbi and the Galbi Jjim. Both were phenomenal. The only slight negative would be the parking, but it's in a shopping center, so there's plenty, just means you can't park as close sometimes. That said, while pricey, it's a truly great experience and I will be going in a few weeks to try other things on the menu.

Yelp
We enjoyed the quality of the meat here. We tried a great selection, including the wagyu beef tongue, chuck flap, brisket, and wagyu ribeye, Wagyu boneless short ribs. My favorites were the boneless wagyu short rib and the non-marinated bone-in short ribs. I'm giving it 4 stars because the service, while efficient, felt a bit rushed. The staff cooked all the meats one after another without much of a pause. We would have loved a little more time to slow down, take a break, and just enjoy the meal at our own pace.

Yelp
Been here twice and it definitely is one of my favorite kbbq experiences. You order a La carte, and meats are definitely more on the pricier side but the quality of the meat reflects that. My personal favorite cuts are the prime bone in short rib, pork jowl, and rib finger! Full of flavor and melts in your mouth. Your server cooks the meats for you and even shares suggestions on which sides you should eat it with. I also really love this place for their banchan as well. Restaurant has dim lighting and feels pretty elevated esp for kbbq. On our first visit, our server was outstanding. She was super kind and quick with all our requests, she even noticed that I was taking pictures of everything and held the meat plate in the perfect position for me to grab a photo! Love when servers are attentive like this. At the end of the meal, they even gifted us a complimentary soybean soup which was delicious. On my second visit, service wasn't quite the same. Not sure if it was because it was busier or something but on multiple occasions we felt like we were bothering our server and he had this super straight annoyed face on him. There was one part of our meal where i think they accidentally ordered an extra set of banchan to the table and so the server was just plopping all the extra sets onto the set we already had in such a distateful and pretty unprofessional way. When paying this much for an elevated meal, I do expect consistent service every visit. They end you off with some complimentary strawberry soft serve which is delicious and the best part is, you don't smell like meat after the meal lol. Overall still an amazing option for kbbq for special occasions!

Yelp
I came here with my partner to introduce him to the BEST korean barbecue in the bay, and 10 Butchers did not upset! We had a reservation and did not have to wait long until we got a table. We had a sweet lady as our server and cook and she was so friendly! She gave us recommendations on how to eat each item and made sure we were okay. The space is so spacious and comfortable with lots of ventilation so you do not leave smelling like meat. Very clean aesthetic. The food was delicious, I can't even describe it. Melts in your mouth, delicious bite every time. Refreshing unlimited banchan. I love the beef tartare. Everything was perfect!

Yelp
I've never been to a fancy Korean bbq but damn 10 Butchers was poppin last night! 7:30pm on a Sunday. We were a party of 8 so we waited for the large shared tables and were all so full and satisfied after our meal. The A5 tasted so good...like butter. Also the best was saved for last, the short ribs, so yum! It was definitely a meat feast. I'd definitely go back!

Yelp
We come to 10 Butchers any time we want to celebrate something. I would order the following for 2 people: 1) Beef Brisket 2) Beef Chuck flap 3) Pork Jowl 4) Gukbap (pictured below) The above will run about $200 total. Ask for the brisket dip, and get some ssamjang and garlic on the side. We always enjoy our visits, and if your server's name is Sky, then you're going to receive a level of service that reminded us of 5-star hotel stay in Jeju Island.

Yelp
First time trying 10 Butchers KBBQ! This has become my favorite KBBQ spot. The service is quick. They cook the meats for you, plate the meat, and serve your table consistently and attentively. The brisket and A5 Japanese Wagyu were my favorite. The wagyu is served with real wasabi. The staff is super friendly and attentive. My table wasn't sure how much food would feed our group size, but the staff was able to help us decide. They cooked our food perfectly and I wouldn't change it any other way. I'll be back again! Restroom was decently clean.

Yelp
10 Butchers is a Korean BBQ restaurant located in Sunnyvale just off of El Camino Real. I've heard that this is the best KBBQ in the Bay Area and Korean approved so we came to check it out. I called within two weeks of my desired dining date to secure the reservation. We ordered the US wagyu beef tongue (6oz $38), rib eye prime (12oz $65), US wagyu rib finger (8oz $42), boneless short rib US wagyu (6oz $55), marinated bone in short rib (2 bones $85), and seafood and wagyu soon tofu ($22). Our server cooked our meat from leanest to fattest so that we could ease our way up to the fatty meats such that they didn't mess up our taste buds. My favorite was the marinated bone in short rib; I could really taste the marinade and it was tender but not too much. I also especially liked the boneless short rib; it was very tender and fatty but some pieces were a bit too fatty and chewy. I also liked the beef tongue and the rib finger. Some pieces in the rib eye prime were tough and it might not have been the case if we had gotten the higher end cuts. For drinks, I also ordered the blackberry mojito ($14.50) which was good. We had onions and salad on the side to help cut through the meat. Of course, we also had banchan and my favorites were the pancake and the kimchi. Our server was very attentive to us (I never got his name) even though he was working on other tables. He cut off the fatty parts of the meat, gave us more kimchi banchan because he noticed we kept eating it at a fast rate, and provided us with frequent grill changes after every meat. Most importantly of all, he cooked our meats to our preferred doneness and really made our experience better.

Yelp
Omg! My friend was so generous to bring me here for my birthday dinner. I had the most delicious meal and was not disappointed. We ordered the marinated short ribs and pork jowl. I usually eat pork belly, but our server mentioned the jowl tasted better. I do like they cook the meat for you so you don't have to worry about out it. The workers come by around and make sure your meat is cooked properly and cut it up for you. I ordered the hibiscus highball which was refreshing. I had a good time and when we left the workers say goodbye to you. I felt like they really take care of how to make the customers feel welcomed.

Yelp
Last weekend, I invited my girlfriend--who's half Korean and had just spent a month in Seoul--to check out this restaurant with me. I'd never been before, but I'd heard from others that the meat quality was excellent. Making a reservation was a bit tricky. You can't simply pick a time online--you have to fill out your name, contact information, party size, date, and preferred time, then wait for them to confirm or deny your request. I asked for 12:15 for two, but they accepted us at 12:30. It's an unusual system that might help them manage tables efficiently, but it's a bit of a hassle for customers. When we arrived, the restaurant was moderately busy--not packed--and the noise level was comfortable. The vibe is modern, simple, and clean. I'd visited Chungdam a couple of months earlier and found their atmosphere more upscale, though the meat quality at both places is comparable. The premium galbi here might be about $5-$10 less. We ordered the tofu soup and seafood pancake to start. My friend said the pancake reminded her of a quiche--it was thicker than she preferred, and I agreed. The seafood tofu soup, however, was delicious, and the banchan that came with the meal was all very good. That said, I still prefer Chungdam's banchan flavors and offerings more--they tasted more authentic similar to those in Seoul. We also ordered lettuce wraps for our meat (an additional charge) and settled on the galbi and pork belly. Both were delicious. Overall, the food was solid, but it was the company that made the experience great. We didn't try any of the drinks because my friend doesn't drink alcohol. Our server was very attentive--grilling and cutting our meats, pouring the tofu soup, and plating the seafood pancake for us individually. That level of service isn't always standard at other Korean BBQ spots, and the price reflects that extra care. Parking was easy at lunchtime, with free lot parking and available street spaces. I can imagine it being more difficult at dinner, but we may have just gotten lucky.

Yelp
First off, my Korean friend from LA chose this place for her birthday dinner so that right there says something. Secondly, she knows how to order better than if I were trying to do it, so that may skew the experience in favor of the restaurant. Third and most important, the food was amazing, service was good, and ambiance was upscale, loud, and a little bit Vegas vibes in suburban Santa Clara. The only con was that it was very loud and a little hard to hear everyone as a larger party of 8 - even on a Sunday night at 730pm. We had an assortment of the meat - wagyu, short rib, pork, etc. and it was all very good. We also got the cold noodles which was a nice complement. Only thing I didn't get to try was a cocktail, but we got photos of the birthday girl with the cocktail tray at the front entrance. They also let us bring in a cake on top of the mini ice creams they gave us. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Butcher KBBQ was an excellent feast! The meat was top quality, the service was great, and the ambiance was lovely. I really enjoyed my dinner last night and can't wait to return.

Yelp
Reservation reservation reservation! Make sure you have one, and you will thank me later! If you couldn't make a reservation, there is usually at least 60 to 90 min wait. I'd recommend you go to a boba place nearby while you wait. All the beef quality is top notch. A group of 3, we ordered: A5 Japanese Wagyu ribeye Rib cap Beef tongue (my fav) Marinated bone-in short ribs They grill everything for you. They change the grill plate after every item. A tiny cup of strawberry ice cream at the end was awesome great finishing touch!

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience! Upon entry, we didn't have a reservation but the wait time was around 45 minutes on a weeknight. It is dimly lit and gives off a high-end fancy atmosphere. After we were seated a dedicated server took our order and also prepared the food in front of us. She was super kind and very quick with the orders. While a bit pricey, the brisket and Porkbelly was the best meat I've ever tasted from a KBBQ place; it melted in my mouth and was seasoned perfectly. The cocktail I ordered (Peach Crush) was also delicious, even though I'm not a big alcohol person! Overall this was a wonderful birthday present and I will cherish it forever. Thank you to the staff for a great experience! :)

Yelp
10 Butchers is one of the top Korean BBQ in this area in terms of quality of meat and service. They have a high quality meats with different cuts along with traditional Korean appetizer, a la carte, and entrees like nakji pajeon, galbi jjim, bibimbap, galbitang, and more. The service was excellent; our waters and side dishes were always filled. The cooked meats were all cooked perfectly. Yes, this place is a bit pricier than most, so it's definitely a place for special occasions.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 10 Butchers has always been my favorite BBQ restaurant in the Bay. An elevated KBBQ experience, great place to go if you want to splurge a little. Service is great here. I came here on a Thursday night and the wait was only 30 minutes for 2. Wagyu Brisket: 5/5 This is my personal fav. I order this every time i go here. The way they cook this is to perfection with crispy edges. Wagyu Ribeye: 5/5 Very soft and tender! LOVE ITTT Wagyu Mandu: 4/5 I love the Wagyu Mandu but I noticed that they no longer put as much green onion as they used to. It's still very delicious Complementary Banchan: 4/5 Love the presentation of all the banchan. My personal favorite used to be the tofu. Its no longer the same, not as marinated as it used to be. Every other banchan was very good. Gukbap: 3/5 I've had better. To be honest, this soup was packed with meat. I wish there were more veggies and broth in it.

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit 10 Butchers for so long. I'm so happy I finally got to go! And it exceeded my expectations. 10 Butchers is definitely a more upscale kbbq spot. My partner and I ordered the Boneless Short Rib and Ribeye both US Wagyu. Both cuts of meat were amazing quality. Our server cooked each meat to about medium well. The meat was juicy and super tender regardless with the Ribeye being the stand out. We also ordered the Yookhweh (beef tartare), Bibim Naengmyun (spicy cold noodles), and cocktails (Peach Crush & Blueberry Mojito). All very good, and I would recommend! Our server was very kind and patient with us. He kindly explained the items on our table we were not sure of. He gave us awesome recommendations. And overall, he tended to our needs to make our first time great! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Date: Friday, March 28th, 2025 Time: around 6pm Party of: 2 Meal: Dinner How: Walk In *Butchers Marinated Galbi ($85) *Sam Gyeop Sal ($35) *Dduk Galbi ($32) *Mix Soon Tofu ($22) I was meeting up a girlfriend for dinner and she wanted Asian food. I know she likes kbbq, so I suggested 10 Butchers. I know they are on the pricier side, but she was down to check it out. They don't take reservations - well at least for a party of 2 - so she went about a half hour before me to put in her name. It was perfect timing since the table was ready right when I got here. I adore short ribs so I had to try the kalbi. It was nicely marbled. Good with the green onion salad. The pork belly was fine. The samgyeopsal was a nice thick cut. All banchan and sauces were on the table, so I found it weird there was no sesame oil. I like making a dip if sesame oil, salt, and pepper. It was easily remedied when I asked for some. The tteok galbi was good, tho I don't like rice cakes. The servers here do everything, so I wished they asked who wanted what before serving. I don't like rice cakes so I took them off my plate and gave them to my gf. She doesn't really like soup, so it was a bummer they gave her such a huge portion as I would consumed it instead. I've been wanting to come here for a while, so glad I finally did. I was always deterred by the wait. Glad it worked out for us ad I didn't have to wait at all. REVIEW #3746

Yelp
I can't even describe how much I love 10 Butchers--it's easily my favorite Korean restaurant in the Bay Area. It's definitely a splurge, so I save it for special occasions, but every visit feels special and worth every penny. The cuts of meat are incredible. High quality, expertly prepared, and melt-in-your-mouth good. I always order the naengmyeon, the chewy noodles, icy broth, and slices of pear make it so light and refreshing, especially after all the grilled meat. The service is impeccable. The staff grills the meat for you at the table with precision and care, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy. They're professional, warm, and make the whole experience feel seamless. Reservations are tough, but if you book ahead or are willing to wait, it's absolutely worth it.

Yelp
Food is great! But have to call to make the reservation, and they are always super busy.

Yelp
Fancy schmancy Korean BBQ! I made rezzies by calling in a couple weeks beforehand for Mother's Day lunch. They have a strict policy and will give your table away if you're more than 15 minutes late. Don't run on Asian time! Service here is top notch. They cook and portion out everything for you, even two of six of our Wagyu dumplings were cut in half tableside so the four of us got precisely 1.5 each. Loved these, btw. The banchan was high quality and they will refill as requested. Tofu soup with wagyu and seafood was loaded with goodies and was quite delicious. Bibimbap had a good mix of ingredients but we were sad there wasn't a crunchy rice bottom, which we assumed would be the case with the hot stone pot. Very happy we were able to request spice level and some dishes (bibimbap), the hot sauce was even served on the side. We thought the marinated bone in short rib was both too sweet and too salty. Next time we'd try the unmarinated one. Couldn't get enough of the pork jowl that came with a big king mushroom too. So meaty and crunchy! Even though there's a parking lot in this strip mall, it can be difficult to find a spot. Pricy here, but worth the splurge. Will be coming back for my friend's bday (party of 10) in a couple weeks and will explore the menu some more.

Yelp
Food here was good when it was cooked properly, but I had a frustrating experience with the service. I am pregnant and specifically mentioned to our server that I needed the meat fully cooked. Despite this, she kept serving us meat that was medium rare. When we asked to keep the grill on longer so we could cook it ourselves, she gave it another minute or so and then turned it off again, which still didn't cook the meats fully. We had to repeat this request multiple times, and it was disappointing that it wasn't respected. In the end, we took most of the meats we ordered home to grill ourselves. For spending $400 on a meal, I expected much better service.

Yelp
10 Butchers is an upscale Korean barbecue restaurant that delivers on quality farm to table meats and service in my last three visits. Reservations are strongly recommended, otherwise be prepared for hour(s) of wait time. Everyone I've taken here loves it! Highlights: 10 different banchans, you don't smell like barbecue after, great service, and they cook and cut everything for you. Food: Love the marinated ribs. Wagyu, seafood pancake, and the cold noodles are also good I'm not a huge KBBQ fan. This is my favorite and only one that I would return to.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 - Pork Belly: 3/5, good but nothing special - Marinated Short Rib: 5/5, one of the best I've tried in the bay! - Galbitang: 4/5, clean broth and tender meat, I personally liked it but the soup doesn't taste as rich as some other places Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I finally got to visit for a birthday celebration, made a reservation at 7pm for two people on a weekday. The line was still really long! It has great ambiance, inside is pretty spacious and you can see the butcher corner and a nice bar. Our server Janice was super sweet and welcoming, she was very attentive and gave us refills of our favorite banchans without us even having to ask her. She recommended us the marinated short rib which was really good. My personal favorite at kbbq is pork belly so I had to try it here too, which was good but not the best I've tried. The seasoning here is overall pretty mild across the board, including banchans, soup, and even the meat marinade. I personally liked it because it gives the taste of upscale Korean cuisine. But if you're into more rich and bold flavors, you might be disappointed! We want to visit again to try some other cuts of meat, but definitely for a special occasion given the price point.

Yelp
My friend and I got the following: (6/10) Nakji Pajeon - The pancake was thick and packed with octopus and shrimp. Not the biggest fan mostly due to all the bell pepper it had. (9/10) US Wagyu Boneless Short Rib - My favorite! One of the cheaper cuts but it was very juicy and savory with the salt. (8/10) Pork Belly - Equal parts fatty and lean meat. Really good we just were extremely full already. (9/10) Side dishes - the VARIETY! They have a lot of side dishes including dried squid, tofu, pickled radish slices and more. They also gave a little sweet(?) It was either taro or ube, not too sure which but was yummy regardless! We were lucky as a walk-in since a reservation was cancelled so we were seated faster but the initial quoted wait time was around 45 min on a Saturday early dinner time. Total cost was around $157 including tax and tip. Service was speedy and they also help cook the meat and check in every couple minutes. Wasn't the most personable service but they were very busy so it was to be expected. The interior is dark and moderately noisy. The tables are spacious. They do not allow outside food or drink.

Yelp
I can see why everyone raves about this spot! The food was fantastic, but the overall experience was just OK, which justifies the 4/5. This was definitely some of the better Korean BBQ I've had in recent memory. We ordered the wagyu dumplings, chuck flap, bulgogi and wagyu boneless short rib. The wagyu dumplings were to die for! These were large, stuffed, and so rich! I loved the pairing of the buttery meat with the kind of sweet sauce. The short rib and chuck flap were both great - they were both tender and hardly needed any salt or sauce to go with. I also enjoyed that the bulgogi came with glass noodles in the mix! As for the bonchon, we especially liked the mini seafood pancake (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside) and ube potato salad. However, I'd say the drinks we ordered (10 Butchers Mai Tai and Old Fashioned) were mediocre and probably not worth getting. The Mai Tai was a little bland and the Old Fashioned was strong but a little syrupy. If I had to do it again, I probably would've opted for wine. We also got seated in the back corner, but in chairs instead of a booth; it felt like we were backed up into the walk way. I think there are other spots of the restaurant that are probably a little more open and lively. Lastly, we opted to have the restaurant cook our meat for us, but it felt really rushed. Everything came out at once, was cooked very fast, and of course they were serving as they were cooking, but they kept re-serving and coming back to dish from the side plates as well almost hand to mouth. This was our fault, and we didn't know any better, but next time I will definitely choose to self-BBQ and take the meal more leisurely (our whole dinner was less than an hour). Otherwise, the wait staff was obviously very service-oriented and hospitable. I'd love to come back to try some other meats!

Yelp
This is one of the best Korean bbq places I've tried so far! Came here on a weekday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that we were seated immediately despite not having a reservation. They have a fair menu selection and everything is a la carte (NOT all you can eat). Their beverage selection is also very generous - they have so many creative cocktails and mocktails. I got the non alcoholic ginger mojito and I really enjoyed it! They use fresh ingredients (not just syrup) and it was one of the best mocktails I've had. In terms of food, I was very impressed! We got the pork jowl and the ribeye wagyu and it was delicious! We also got the japchae which was sooooo good. Portion wise, it looks huge, but we were able to almost finish it with 2 people. They are generous with their (free) side dishes and their dipping sauces are amazing (it includes fresh wasabi)! After eating, they have us strawberry soft serve, which was actually super delicious. They make it in house, which is disappointing because I wish I could buy some Service was also fantastic! It's one of those places where the staff cooks the meat for you. Jeremi was helping us out and was so sweet! They also gave us a second serving of ice cream just because we said it was good, which is super kind of them. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Delicious banchan, delicious meats, and good service. The alcoholic drinks are very light according to my husband. We loved all the meats we got, with the exception of the recommended marinated short ribs. It was way too sweet. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Really pricy but high quality Korean bbq. Expect to wait 1-1.5 hours on a Saturday night if you don't have a reservation. The banchan spread they start you off with is awesome. Ours had some mini pancake, potato salad, dried anchovy, cucumbers, tofu, fish cakes, and kimchi. And they were very proactive about asking if you wanted things refilled. They also gave us a complimentary "miso" soup (but I'm suspecting it was doenjang). We got: Ribeye (US wagyu) - I found this cut pretty underwhelming, wasn't as tender as I would expect from wagyu and more chewy. Also one of the more expensive cuts, would skip this. Boneless short rib (US wagyu) - I liked this more than the ribeye, but not as much as the marinated short rib. Marinated bone in short rib - This was my favorite. I'm just a sucker for a marinated short rib. Portion is quite generous which I guess explains the price ($85). Pork jowl - I'm usually a big fan of pork jowl, but I think it doesn't work as well in the bbq format. Pretty juicy pork but without a sauce on it, it's just ultimately just not as fatty and flavorful as short rib. Would probably skip this next time. Ended up being quite pricy, but I think if I were to come back, I'd just order the marinated bone in short rib to share.

Yelp
Place is a bit pricey but was delicious! They cook the food for you and our waitress did a good job! For meats we ordered: beef tongue, marinated short rib, US wagyu ribeye, and something else I don't remember. All the meats were good except for the marinated short ribs.bi wasn't a big fan, meat was tender but the marinade made the beef way too sweet

Yelp
10 Butchers has always been my go to restaurant for Korean BBQ. I've been here with friends and family multiple times without any issues. This time, my family and I did not have a good experience during dinner for my sister's birthday. The food was good as usual. We ordered 2 orders of the brisket, rib finger, marinated short rib, green onion pancake with octopus, and dooenjang jjigae (bean paste stew w/wagyu and tofu). Our waitress said are you sure that's enough for 5 of you? We said yes and that we will add on more food if needed. The waitress said it's easier to order more now which made no sense. The issues began once we started eating. Our waitress never refilled our water and side dishes despite being asked multiple times. The rice was brought out when we were eating our last meat dish (marinated short ribs) AFTER we had asked a 3rd time about the rice. It seems like the waitress was more focused on the table next to us that had ordered more drinks and food. Or she could have been serving too many tables. Overall I never had an experience like this before. For the price you pay, I expect better service than this. The check has the tip starting at 20%, 25%, 30%. This experience definitely wasn't worthy of these tip amounts. I will probably give this place another try but won't have high expectations with their service.

Yelp
I was excited to come here for my birthday, especially given the high reviews. We ordered the prime bone in short rib (생갈비), boneless short rib (꽃살), yukhwe (육회), and cold buckwheat noodles (냉면). Everything was ordered with the recommendation of our server. He was attentive, but not very helpful. For example, he said the yukhwe was absolutely beautiful red that day, but it wasn't. Some of the meat was still frozen, and you could hear the chunks when chewing it. He was also grilling the meat too fast and turned off the heat before we finished. It felt like he was trying to get us out of there, which didn't feel good, especially when paying for expensive galbi that went cold. I feel like for the price you are paying for quality and service, but neither was great that evening unfortunately.

Yelp

Yelp
We had an amazing first experience coming to 10 butchers Korean bbq. We made reservations over the phone for 7:30 a few days prior for our anniversary. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and seated almost immediately. Our server gave us a run down on the overall experience and menu. We ended up ordering wagyu, rib cap, and Galbi Tang. Our server came back with a few extras and banchan which was absolutely delicious. We left full and happy, as our server also provided us with a complimentary desert for our anniversary. The experience was amazing, although packed, we felt that we had a lot of space and enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I got to finally take my boyfriend. We walked in an hour before closing on a Saturday and got seated right away. We ordered everything and finished under 1.5 hours cause we were hungry. Shout out to our waiter, Sky who was so attentive and super kind. He also had us try his favorite soup that was spicy. We love spicy! The meats are top notch like seriously top 5 Korean restaurants I've ever had in California. Meats were perfectly cooked. I love how your clothes don't smell. Their banchan is unique and paired well with. We ended the meal with a little ice cream they give you. Again, our bellies were left happy and we had lots of left over. Always A+ service and A+ quality food.

Yelp
Came for my husbands birthday. We arrived with reservations at around 6:00 PM but still had to wait an additional 20 minutes because it was fully packed. Having been here a couple times, I can say that the service and food quality is consistent. Servers are extremely knowledgeable and will tell you if you've ordered too much or too little. They won't up-sell you. They come by with perfect timing to cook your meat, adjust the temperature, replace the grill pan, or to adjust the meat positioning so it doesn't burn. here's what we ordered: 부처스 시크릿 RIB CAP 6oz ($55) - We love rib cap but this was the first time experiencing it at a KBBQ place. Did not disappoint and would get it again. 혀밑구이 US WAGYU BEEF TONGUE 6oz ($38) - Cooked to perfection. Not too chewy. 부처스 양념갈비 22oz SALT BASE MARINATED PRIME BONE IN SHORT RIB ($85) This was the last meat to be cooked. Expensive but worth it for the flavor. 물 냉면 MUL NAENG MYUN Thin cold noodles in cold broth - ($26) My husband and I love cold noodle broth. This definitely hit the spot. Overall, for 2 people, 3 dishes may be the perfect amount but we love banchan and over ate. Therefore, we narrowly finished the meat. However, we think this was the perfect amount. Also, this is one of the few places that give octopus as a banchan item.
