If you're looking for that good old-fashioned American diner feel, this is the place. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with nostalgic Americana décor--think Route 66 signs that take you right back to the golden days.
It's a smaller spot, so it may be a bit snug if you use a walker or wheelchair, but there's plenty of room for families or larger groups to sit together and enjoy a hearty meal. Plus, there's free street parking, which is always a nice bonus!
The menu is exactly what you'd hope for--extensive and comforting. I went with the Denver-style omelet breakfast, and let me tell you, the portions are generous. I couldn't quite finish my potatoes, but if you're someone who likes to get their money's worth, you'll be pleased.
They serve locally roasted coffee in large mugs, which is a nice touch. Though the coffee was a bit too acidic for my taste, it's great to see they support local roasters. Just be aware that with the large mugs, your coffee might cool off before you get a refill.
All in all, it's clear this place is a neighborhood favorite--and for good reason. Great portions, friendly service, and that timeless diner charm. Perfect for a casual weekend breakfast or lunch with friends.
