Oley's Pizza

I really thought this was going to be one of the best in the area. I was a bit disappointed and I brought 2 pies thinking it wasn’t going to be enough. It wasn’t like the NY style I was hoping for. The pizza was good, it had plenty of cheese and it was pretty fat/ thick so I got full fast. The disappointment was that it wasn’t foldable like a thinner crust and it was a bit doughy. My stepson and daughter was like where is the pepperoni 🍕. It was mostly hidden under neath all the cheese, I prefer to be on top like most pizza shops do. So even though it tasted good it was just average pie. Maybe it was because there were just busy or it’s just the way it was made. There is one spot that was wood fired and I wanted to try but there hours close early- there review was average and some ssid it was made sloppy. Who knows, I’m sure they have other great food here but the pizza it be a while before trying again. It’s still a place to check out if in the area.

The West Jefferson Oley's has so much to offer! Yes, of course they have the best deep dish outside of Chicago, but thats just the tip of the iceberg. All of their dishes are made with an attention to flavor that you just can't find anywhere else. The atmosphere is cozy, and inviting. Maybe you're not looking for a full, delicious Italian meal 🤷 Maybe you would just like a great appetizer and an amazing cocktail, if that's the case, then you'd be a fool to go elsewhere. This place truly is one of a kind in all the best ways!

This is the best pizza. I've had the best pizza in Chicago and this pizza beats them all. The sauce is a zing, the crust, buttery. There is so much cheese on these pizzas it makes your jaw tired after chewing. Best pepperoni in the state. The guy who took my order was great, you can tell he enjoys his job. Everyone there seems happy. They also gets points for having Three Floyd's on tap.

Okay I wasn’t skeptical going in about how great this pizza was. However now I am to a certainty that it is in fact the best pizza I have ever had. Fort Wayne, IN is filled full of great food places as an overall I believe this pizza and this location is one of the best if you are a foodie. The pizza probably weighs 8 lbs for a medium it’s crazy. It’s enough pizza that 3 grown men who were hungry set down to eat 2 mediums and left with a full box of pizza and had trouble walking. If there was 10 stars available I would give it. Every time I come back to Fort Wayne for the rest of my life this will be the spot I eat dinner at least once a week. Staff was great, owner was very chill. They kept my drink full which is great. It’s not just a 1-1 type of thing if another staff member passed by you they will fill your drink as well. Wonderful place to go. 10/10 recommend.

Good ratings because pizza was good. Nice flavor and even though it was a busy Saturday the online time matched when it was done exactly which many don't do today so good for them. Places like this are worthy of support. You might miss this just driving but that would be your loss. Definitely worth it.

This pizza is awesome. Rich and crispy with a nice flavor. The amount of cheese is insane!! I ate my first piece while driving to a spot to watch sunset and I recommend a heavy napkin lol. Enjoyable first visit, we will be back!

I don’t say this lightly. This legitimately maybe some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m kind of a pizza snob. Every time I come through town now, which is not often enough, I’m about to get a couple of these pizzas to go. They have an option to get half baked pizza so you can take them home and put them in your freezer then Cook them later.. I will be doing that, For sure. About the pizza itself. I just got Pepperoni. But I believe that if a pizza place can pull off a really good pepperoni, they can do anything. The crust is a really good pan style crust, Chewase and taste homemade. The sauce, pepperoni and cheese combination is the perfect flavor combination. I can’t put my finger on it. I just know that it’s just right. If you’re ever within the area, please go here. You will not regret it. I will definitely be someone who comes back here time and time again until I can’t anymore. Also, the pizza reheats in the microwave or the oven. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

We're from Columbus Ohio. Came into Fort Wayne Indiana for the Guitar Fest at Sweetwater! Wanted pizza and didn't want to order from somewhere that we eat ate back home. Called in my order, spoke to Brittany and she was absolutely the sweetest, told me all about everything being fresh daily, let me know about how the pizza's are made, about the homemade dressing. Told me that people come in and buy dressing's by gallons. I smell was unbelievable on the ride back to the hotel. (5 minutes away) The 🥗 salad was fresh, dressing was delicious and veggie pizza was sooo good. 😋 Now the bad part is, if I want this pizza I have to drive 3 hours to get it. Well worth the money. The ambiance of this place is welcoming but is a little small and can get loud. The service is very friendly and stretched a little thin, but the pizza is worth the wait. This is the spot for deep dish Chicago style pizza. It will not let you down. I was very impressed how great this pizza was!

We drove over 3 hours just to have lunch here last Saturday. Oh my gosh was it worth it! When I student taught in Fort Wayne back in 1992 some of the teachers introduced me to Oley's. It was just as good as I had remembered.

Best deep dish in the area when you're craving a Chicago style pizza! Food - Deep dish pizza is the way to go! Recommend trying the Godfather pizza, Margherita bread, buffalo wings and garlic knots. All are yummy! FYI deep dish pizza takes an hour to make, so plan accordingly. Service - I always order to go and service has been good. They have Apple/Google pay. Ambiance - It's always busy inside whenever I place an order. Bunch of people are making food when you pick up your order. PSA - this Oley's location only does the deep dish. The Oley location off of Coliseum doesn't do deep dish.

I remember eating Oleys pizza about 35 years ago when friends and I went to Ft Wayne for the mall. We stopped on our way home back to Peru. Haven't been back. Today we went to Ft Wayne for a birthday event and found Oleys Pizza again. Our Sausage and Pepperoni pizza was amazing. One piece really fills you up.

What's not to like? Locally owned? Best deep dish pizza! They make their own pasta so always good but the house salad... oh that house salad gets me in every time!

Top 3 personal favorite pizza places I've ever tried, and that's coming from someone who lived in Chicago for a decade. The double crust is the way to go. I've been getting Oley's for decades and the pizza is still awesome. Service can be hit and miss, depending on the day, but you can always do take-out so you don't miss great tasting pizza. Currently living in kansas, and my daughter waited 2 months to have her "birthday" dinner here, and the only things she wanted was the salad with the amazing house dressing (and only the owner knows the recipe...) and garlic knots. The new "upscale" menu seems a bit pricy for comparable Italian food in the area (especially compared to Casa which is really close by), but I don't stray from the pizza. Go to Oley's and get the pizza they're known for, you won't be disappointed.

The price is about what you'd expect from a standard pizza place, but the taste is what makes this 5 star. I'm originally from Houston and my favorite pizza of all time is Antonio's flying cheese pizza (don't hate on it, it's so good all you need is cheese). This place tastes very similar and that is one of the highest compliments I can give. Great pizza.

Im in love. I've been wanting to try this place since hearing about them in a fb group. I live over an hour away and the last few times I've been near Ft wayne it's been during hours they weren't open. Today I checked and they weee so I decided to drive 30+ minutes out of my way to see what all the fuss was about. SO glad I did! Staff were friendly and wait time was very reasonable right over the lunch hour. Got the pizza to go with plans to share with family when I got home, but it smelled so GOOD I had to try a slice of the hand tossed pepperoni lovers as soon as it was cool enough for me to pick up. The crust was crispy outside, chewy inside, a generous amount of cheese, and tons of pepperoni. It was absolutely delicious and I had to eat a second piece during the hour drive. Can't wait until I'm hungry later tonight to warm up the deep dish and give that a try. I will certainly make the drive again to try other things from their menu!

I'm visiting from San Diego & I have access to quite a bit of Italian food...I have to say Oley's is the BEST I've ever had! The Margherita Bread is delicious & full of Basil/Tomatoes...I had the Saccotinos(spelling?) & you can taste the difference in the homemade sausage. The Alfredo sauce is definitely homemade & so rich! The Tirimisu is a food group unto itself... I can say without doubt, you can choose anything on the menu with confidence of quality & value, Bon Appétit!

My husband and I decided to order Olys pizza and cheese bread tonight because we had it years ago and loved it. We were very disappointed! It was nothing like it was years ago.

Oley's never disappoints... food is great. The last several years we usually do carry out. However the bar is cosy if you eat in without kids. Service is excellent and the ambience is relaxed and casual.

I came by Oley's on a Saturday night with a friend to get some pizza. This is a popular place as evident by the large parking lot being packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait to long to be seated in the small dining room. You can also order pizza to-go. I ordered The Californian pizza (I know, very on brand for a gal from California to order The Californian pizza). It was really good. This pizza has chicken, tomatoes, and feta cheese in an artichoke cream sauce. The artichoke cream sauce is pretty rich, and the pizza is pretty filling, so while I ordered a small, I only ate half. I took the other half home. It was nice to get two meals out of the pizza was only $13. I also ordered a local beer that was on tap and came with a free beer glass it was served in. During my visit, I too experienced what other yelpers have noted about the slow service. It wasn't a big deal for me as I was catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in months, so we had plenty to talk about. But it did take us a while to get the check and for our server to run our cards. All and all, I think we were there about two hours.

We came here tonight and on a whim with my daughter's volleyball team... They were so accommodating and everyone was super friendly starting with the lady I talked to on the phone to inquire about the reservation. The waitresses were very friendly and organized and made our large party ordering a breeze. The owner even thanked us for our business. Now to get started on the food! My family ordered a margarita pizza and a house salad with their homemade house dressing and everything we ate was amazing. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about their presentation! So so good! 10/10 would recommend!

Restaurant review This is a restaurant review from the parking lot. I don't know how good the pizza is because I'm still waiting. I don't understand how the ordering system can be so broken. I placed an order at 5 PM and it indicated an hour and a half before It would be ready. I understand with the Covid pandemic social distancing needs to be done. I waited for about half hour outside trying to get into the restaurant. I finally got to the counter 30 minutes after the time that my pizza should've been done. That is over 1 hr in line. It's currently 7 o'clock at night and they still handed me a number and told me my pizza would be another 15 minutes. I don't even think they started my pizza based on the interactions with the wait staff. I'll update with the final time when I finally get the pizza. Update: so after waiting 25 minutes my wife told me to go ask someone that came out if the pizza was done. They finally got it to me and leaving the parking lot at 7:30pm. The deep dish pizza was very heavy on toppings which is good. Cheese is not oily and stuffed toppings in a supreme were not super watery which is good. The bad was the pizza dough was undercooked in multiple places.

Hadn't been here for a few years but we usually try to stop when we're are in Fort Wayne. I got the double crust deluxe. I forgot how good these pizzas are! One of the best I have ever had. Will definitely try and drive up more often!

We ordered pizza from Oley's tonight. We picked it up and it was ready right on time. They delivered it to the car and the delivery guy was nice and properly masked. Our large pizza with thin crust came with extra cheese, green olives , pepperoni, and anchovies. Delicious! Twenty minutes later we dug in and it was still piping hot. We will be back !!!

Visiting family in the area and the consensus was pizza. We wanted something local so I made a Yelp search. Oley's wasn't far and the pizzas sounded creative. Well kids, that Godfather is damn good! Tomato sauce, Italian sausage, steak, meatballs, roasted garlic, tomatoes, giardiniera, fresh mozzarella. When they say roasted garlic they don't mean chopped or three or four cloves. No way. Covered in whole roasted cloves. Let's not skip the giarsiniera. Holy veggies that might be our new favorite topping. If you find yourself near Ft Wayne and grab an Oley's pizza.

This pizza is absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new pizza place and found this close to home. When we got the pizza it was expectedly heavy (meaning a lot of toppings). We got home, tasted it, and the flavor was absolutely amazing ! The crust is light and flaky, not hard. We will definitely be going back. It's 100% worth the price. It looks pricey compared to chain restaurants but I have zero complaints about the price after tasting this well made pizza. I usually can eat about 3 pieces of pizza but one piece made me full (I still went in for another half of slice just for flavor). Oleys will get our business again.

The pizza is quality ingredients and really good. I was disappointed when I got home with my deluxe double crust and it contained green olives not listed on the menu ingredients for deluxe. There were very few or no green peppers and mushrooms that WERE listed on ingredients for deluxe. I ordered extra cheese which was great, but I don't care for green olives on pizza which, for me, ruined my $25 pizza. Oley's has great pizza.

One slice then pitched the rest. This was a delivery and although it arrived piping hot, the crust was super soggy and the cheese on top was like rubber with no taste. Very disappointing. I'm sure that the delivery had a "steamed" effect on the pie which downgraded the overall quality. But I've had other pizza deliveries from other venders that were very good - but nevertheless, a $30 pizza ended up in the trash.

Great food, expect to wait 40 min especially on the weekends. Highly recommend the Godfather!

Wanted to love this ...being a chicago native however the bottom crust was raw so was a little afraid to eat it ..sausage was pleasant

Some of the best pizza in the Fort. Their "10 lb." Pizza is amazing and 1 piece makes a meal. Not the most inexpensive, but worth it!

The best pizza with the best ingredients. Fresh toppings and quality mozzarella. 20-30 years Of consistent great pizza and entrees Nothing showy, family room with bar area.

Not only does Oley's have some of the best pizza I've ever had (my family used to own pizzerias so that's a lot for me to say), but they have the best wings and salad as well. The way they prepare the wings is perfection, and the salad ingredients and DRESSING on their house salad is absolutely incredible. We always order extra of everything so we have left overs for days! I crave Oley's quite often.

One of my favorite places in the city for pizza. There is no one that beats their Chicago style pizza and their garlic knots are to die for. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a salad with their homemade dressings. So delicious!

It was tasty stuff, not great crust but good. They lost stars from me because... We called in the order, we got there and waited 20 minutes, went and asked about it, she said about 10 minutes. 20 minutes later asked again and was told they had forgot about it... AND she gave me attitude about me standing there to wait for it. I get that everyone is feeling stressed these days but you dropped the ball 3 times and gave me crap about it like it was my fault.

This pizza is absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. That is saying a lot since I am a Pizza King alcoholic. If you ever find yourself in that area you should always stop & eat there. I would even order this and have it delivered & feed my entire department.

4 of us ordered a medium Pepperoni Jalapeno and a large pepperoni pizza, both thin crust. OH My Word! We took home what amounted to an entire pizza. It was excellent! Toppings were plentiful, sauce was excellent, and the crust was crispy outside but airy and tender inside. SO GOOD!! Will definitely go there when we're in town again. We just know not to order as much!

Deep dish deluxe was phenomenal, got a medium for 3 ladies and we ate half of it. 1 piece can fill you up. Service was excellent!

Oley's is a straight-up Italian pub delivering delicious home style pizza's and pasta dishes. A Fort Wayne classic here... Possibly the best meatballs I've ever had. Best cocktails for the money in the city. Ambiance is pleasant, wonderful neighborhood dive-bar; dark and old school. Oley's staff is super friendly and accommodating. I usually stick with an order of meatballs, garlic knots (insane!) and a fresh house salad. Get in here!

I am visiting from SAN Antonio, Texas. I believe this is the Best pizza in the world. Very nice atmosphere and wait staff. BEST KEPT SECRET IN TOWN!

Fantastic little pizza joint. I wasn't sure what to expect from the outside, but the pizza really delivered. It wasn't Chicago style, it wasn't New York style, it was ft Wayne style and it was good. We got a works and a godfather double crust and some garlic knots. The knots were good, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. I'm not a veg person but the works looked good. I went all in on The Godfather. It was really good. Meaty cheesy saucy and the pepperoni on top were deliciously crispy. I took the leftover home and ate it for dinner! Oh and we got a salad for 4. The server was very accommodating and brought different dressing for all. The salad was good, but it needed a little color to dress it up, some carrot or radish shavings would help there. Their house dressing is fantastic.

One of the best pizza rolls I've ever had. Small town feel. Unique beer list. Service was good but we felt slightly rushed when we were finished eating.

I love Oley's. They make great tasting pizza and have great customer service. Stay away from the chain pizza places and go with a local original.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! The cheese is flavorful, the sauce is perfect, the pepperoni has a bit of a kick, the crust is light and crispy yet has a great chewy quality. Jennifer was attentive to our needs! It don't get no better than this! If you are anywhere in the area you NEED to come here.

This place is a true gem! Located in a strip mall outside of town on the southwest side, you'd never expect the quality and genuine goodness of this food! The entrance to the bar is separate from the entrance for carry out and family dining. You can see the kitchen from the carry out counter and through the windows against the parking lot. Super clean kitchen! The dining area and bar are dimly lit and intimate (read that as small lol), but they are also comfortable and cozy feeling. The service was friendly and responsive! The meatballs were perfectly made. They were moist, light, and flavorful. Great blend of meat, garlic, and spices! They were one of the best meatballs I've ever had. Highly recommend! The "Chicago style pizza" is delicious, but not Chicago style. It has a layer of crust, then a layer of cheese, then another layer of crust, then sauce toppings and cheese. Definitely a knife and fork kind of pizza though! The sauce is fresh and bright. The toppings are delicious and fresh as well! I ordered the 10". I was only able to eat two slices and could've happily shared the rest with a couple of other people (especially after having a meatball). The bar area isn't huge, but there are 7 beers on tap. And to make it even better, they aren't generic nation all beers. They had a nice selection of rotating craft brews. And a good size selection of bottles as well. Bottom line: great place to stop that's a little out of the way!

Hard place to get a seat at. Always busy and for good reason. Your best bet is to get take out. Be prepared for a longer than normal wait but again it's worth it! Once you finally get home you'll think the Lord himself took up pizza making because this pizza is divine! If you don't believe in a higher power you've never had this pizza. The first bite and you'll be on your knees thanking God for such remarkable pizza making skills.

Best pizza in FW period end of story. Not sure it's even close. Have tried their subs, salads as well and it's all fantastic. Long wait times but accurate wait times and definitely worth it.

Been dining here since I can remember. Been a family tradition. Very very awesome food. You can dine in , order carry out, and enjoy the bar that is separate from family dining. Never had a bad experience! If you haven't tried this restaurant then you are missing out down home atmosphere and family owned. Bring your appetite, the portions are enormous. I recommend the double crust deep dish pizza. It used to be called the 10 pound pizza. 10 slices, each piece is one pound.everything is good from the salads to the meatballs. The spaghetti is made with real homemade noodles made on site. Best of all the staff is very friendly and the waitresses are top notch. .

I'm from the east coast and pizza. After moving to Fort Wayne I've had a hard time finding something like back East - this is NOT pizza like home but it is VERY good! Good sauce, cheese was good, crust was good. Got the hand tossed Margherita, garlic knots and a regular pepperoni. They were all good but the reg pepperoni was a deep dish - extremely heavy. the margherita- that was 5 star as were the knots. Margherita isn't hand tossed like in NJ, little thicker crust but not doughy. We did take out.

Pizzas are always great, too much salt however, my hands are puffy and i'm super thirsty afterwards because of the amount of salt.

I'll go back but I didn't love the pizza. We got one of their specialty pies and hit had whole cloves of garlic on it. I was kind of surprised. I think if I had something a little more traditional I would have liked it more so this was probably my fault. However, they have the best cheese bread I've ever had! I'll keep you updated on my next visit.

OMG! This place is where it's at! Overindulge of cheese galore from their salad, garlic knots to the deep dish pizza! Cheese was everywhere and baked into the bread itself. Insane just how delicious and flavorful the food is. Coming from Chicago I was skeptical but definitely a believer now. Oley's pizza is comparable for sure to other expensive pies, especially in weight.
