La Popular Bakery is celebrated for authentic Mexican breakfast with generously filled burritos and freshly baked pastries, delivering a flavorful and satisfying start to the day.
They used to be the best, but I'm not sure whats going on here lately, but I haven't been very impressed the past few times we've gotten burritos in the AM. It's a hit and miss kinda thing.. but the old school LA pops on Arnold Blvd makes them amazing like the way LA popular used to be. .

Still the best burritos I have EVER had. Especially for the price! The atmosphere isn’t really a selling point though. We used to get drive through and enjoy our food at home or at the park.

Absolutely beautiful. Would wait an hour if it took that long... no wonder yalls place is the best place in Abilene for authentic Mexican cuisine and traditional mexican foods. Every dish is A 1 and the staff is absolutely amazing and care about their products. Thank You so much and bask well in the glow of being Loved & Appreciated

The food is amazing. You may have to wait since it’s usually pretty busy, but it’s worth it—the line moves at a decent pace.

Lines are lengthy for a reason. It’s so good. Tortilla, eggs, bacon, potato, and cheese. The salsa is addicting. Love going here, and wish they had one in Dallas.

The food is the star here. The tortillas are made fresh. The burritos are delicious and often have specials. The staff seems happy and friendly. The inside is like small dinner feel. Most patrons seem to just use drive thru (which moves at a decent speed) or come in, order, and go. If you want awesome burritos, this is the place.

I came to your establishment and bought 3 Burritos with sausage, potatoes, eggs. I drive from breckenridge tx every day. When i got home yesterday morning. I realized that the burritos were wrong. I tried calling and couldn’t get threw so i left a message. No one returned my call. So i called the following day to the restaurant and talked to a young lady and she said there was nothing she could do about it because i didn’t bring the burritos back. I also talked to the manager/owner and he said he wouldn’t be doing anything about it. So i told him he just lost a customer. We work to hard to be roped off by burrito shop! I explained that i am not from Abilene and still no compensation.
