Tiffany was an amazing caring instructor. The place is beautiful and everyone is kind. It was my first group Pilates class on the reformer and I felt seen, had fun and workout a lot! Loved it!

Great experience overall. The front desk staff was really welcoming, the instructor was solid, and the music was good. The workout was effective and well paced. I’d definitely come back.

Absolutely love this studio! The staff is amazing, and every class has been challenging. I found some classes at other studios don’t utilize the reformer enough, and I sometimes leave feeling disappointed. I really appreciate that the instructors at Speir make it a priority so that you feel like you really got the most out of each class.

This is my favorite Pilates studio in the whole Los Angeles. I love the location, parking is really easy to find. They have at least 1-2 open spots usually open for the classes if you book the last moment, which is super convenient for me. Also the studio is always sparkling clean and staff is very friendly, they remember your name, and are always willing to help If you have any kind of questions or concerns. But my absolutely favorite part is that the studio has natural light from the huge window! Cause most of the Pilates studios are underground and it kinda makes me depressed, when Speir is always bright and inspiring. 5 star guys! Open the location in SF please, I’m there for work often and can’t find anything like you 🙏🤗

I LOVE Speir Pilates!! As a newcomer to reformer pilates, I was nervous going into it but this studio and the instructors here are phenomenal. From the first class, the instructors introduce themselves to you and continue to recognize you each time you come in. I really loved that personal aspect. I've taken Taylor O. and Danielle B. and both have been incredible!! The workouts are hard but their music is great and well-synced to the moves. The instructors are very attentive/will help you as well throughout the class which I appreciate as it can be so easy to have incorrect form when you're first starting out. I look forward to any time I come into the studio and highly recommend it to my friends, family, and others in the community. Also it is an absolutely gorgeous space with tons of natural light, a big plus!

I've been doing pilates for a long time, and these are some of the best teachers and one of the nicest studios I've gone to. Particularly love Guy, Tiffani, Devon - they are challenging in the best way, and make the hard work fun. I only hesitate to recommend because I don't want people snagging hard to get reformer spots!

My jacket was stolen after the class. The staff ignored my request to check the security cameras to find out who stole it. It happened because the studio does not provide any lockers for their clients' personal belongings. It's been almost two weeks, and all I got was "we are sorry". That day was cold and rainy, and it took me 20 minutes to get home. I walked, and I was just wearing a top. The fact that the studio did not handle the situation appropriately demonstrates their actual attitude towards their clients.

I write this review with a heavy heart and a mixture of emotions as I truly cherish my time at Spier Pilates. As an runner and swimmer, I discovered at Spier Pilates the perfect fitness haven I thought I'd been looking for. Every class brought me joy, and I am extremely grateful to each instructor for their guidance and support throughout my journey. However, an unfortunate incident forced me to reconsider my membership, a decision that was not taken lightly. After consistently attending and appreciating every session, my commitment was put to the test due to an unexpected delay. Even though I was only a minute overtime late, I was barred from entering the session due to a tardiness policy supposedly related to security concerns--a policy that had not previously been communicated or documented in the membership agreement. The interaction that followed with manager Christopher Joe left me feeling deeply unsettled. Although I understand the importance of rules for a safe and orderly environment, the way the situation was handled lacked the compassion and understanding that I associated with Spear Pilates. The rigid adherence to a seemingly unwritten rule, coupled with a communication style that I perceived as unwelcoming, made me wonder if I could continue to support a place that no longer seemed to embody the welcoming spirit I initially fell in love with. It pains me to leave a place that once felt like a second home, especially under circumstances that perhaps could have been handled with a little more compassion and clarity. While I remain grateful to the founders and the exceptional instructors who have made significant contributions to my physical well-being, recent experiences have tainted my perception and comfort in what I believed to be a safe and nurturing space. I hope this review serves as constructive observation for Spier Pilates, helping to create a more inclusive and communicative environment for all participants. Despite all this situation, I express my deepest gratitude to the SP and its founders for the wonderful experiences and growth opportunities provided so far.

The instructors are decent but the studio is very shady with their cancellation policy. They will charge you whatever they can arbitrarily and you won't even notice until you look at your credit card statement.
