I had a privilege to model Luke for his final round of cut. First time in this salon. There’s a great diversity of across spectrum age of hairdressers, which bodes inclusivity, the salon is busy in a good way. The environment it zen, and the building finish (interior design and function) is superb. They promote Josh Wood products. My experience was superb and will likely return and can’t fail this place.

I recently visited Josh Wood and had the pleasure of being styled by Freddie. From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. I came in wanting long layers and face-framing cuts, and Freddie took the time to have a thorough consultation with me to understand exactly what I was looking for. The results were absolutely amazing. He managed to give me the perfect cut, keeping the length I wanted while removing the dead ends. It was exactly what I had envisioned! The salon itself had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was offered drinks multiple times, which added a nice touch to the experience. The entire staff was friendly, making me feel right at home. However, it was Freddie who truly made the experience stand out. His attention to detail and professionalism made my visit 100% better. I’m beyond happy with my new cut and will definitely be returning!

Josh Wood Hair completely exceeded my expectations. As a guy getting both a cut and colour, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but from start to finish, the experience was top-tier. I went in wanting a subtle refresh—nothing too bold, just something to give my hair more depth and a cleaner look. The colourist got it exactly right: natural, low-maintenance, and somehow made my hair look healthier and shinier. The cut was sharp and well-structured without being too styled, which is exactly what I wanted. The salon itself has a great atmosphere—modern, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and clearly skilled at what they do. Best my hair has looked in years. I’ve already had a few compliments and questions about where I got it done. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend—especially for guys who want more than just a quick chop at the barbershop.

Tasha has been doing my hair since 2016, and I'm still in love with my steel blue blunt bob! She is a hair colour genius and I will literally go to no one else. I still get compliments from strangers and friends, and I owe it all to Tasha. Safe to say she'll be doing this hair cut for another few decades!

I had colour done with Jay, who transformed my roots from damaged and brassy orange (which I only felt comfortable wearing a hat over) to a natural tone that works with my complexion and blends perfectly with my ends. Thank you !

Sam (Ashcroft) has been my stylist for a couple of years now and I couldn't be happier. He takes time to listen and understand how I feel about my hair and then uses his expertise to create a style that feels natural, manageable and confidence-boosting. His calm and kind temperament makes every appointment a genuinely enjoyable experience. And I've never had so many compliments about my hair!

James Pryce has been cutting my hair since 2017, he has an incredible eye for detail. At my first appointment with him, he recommended cutting in a fringe and going shorter in length…I loved it so much that I’ve had the same haircut ever since! There’s no one else I trust more with a pair of scissors, he’s the best of the best.

Tasha has been bleaching and colouring my hair for many years and for many years I have followed her from one salon to the next. She is absolutely amazing, not as a colourist but as a person as well. So kind, thoughtful and understanding. When it comes to her work, she is a perfectionist who will go above and beyond to do what she feels is the right and best thing for one’s hair. She gives really useful advice and will not settle until her clients are super happy with the outcome. She is the best!

The worse ever, they damaged my hair, took too long to try to fix it and at the end, way very expansive. Not recommended at all

I had a fantastic experience at this salon. The staff are very professional and the guy who coloured my hair (semi-permanent) did a great job: not a single bit of grey left. My hair last looked like this 20 years ago. As I had never had my hair coloured before, they also gave me a free blow dry, which was very kind of them. Recommended!

I've been to both locations. Haircut was the worst I've had in years! I brought a pic and yet the so called stylist managed to butcher my hair. Went for pedi and i just got a buff and coating. No trimming cuticles or massage. The receptionist was rude. DON'T GO HERE! Stylists are horrible!

I have been to get my hair highlighted at both of his salons and also had a manicure. The colouring first time was ok, the blow dry was appalling and the manicure was one of the worst I've ever had. The second time I went to the salon at Liberty's which is small, cold and uncomfortable. I noticed when I got home that the roots were showing but didn't go back as I was then I'll and Christmas was upon us. I returned yesterday and was told their policy is that if you are unhappy about something that you need to report it straight away. They were completely unapologetic and obviously couldn't care less whether a (potentially) good customer was unhappy. The receptionist at both salons are like ice maidens and obviously think that you should think yourself lucky to be having your hair done there at all. The whole thing is a con and they have firmly set their sights on the Notting Hillbilly's who have more money and time than sense. Go at your peril.
