These Are Europe’s Most Beautiful Cinemas, According To Time Out
Positioned eighth in Europe, this Paris cinema earns a spot in the top ten most beautiful cinemas, reflecting its status as one of the city’s and continent’s most visually admired places to see films. - Liv Kelly
Amazing cinema! Beautiful and quaint. Only thing I would offer is for them to change the lights outside to a warmer yellow or orange to attract people, the white can be very cold and repellent

A wonderful little cinema located next to two other small theaters, a reminder of the golden age of cinema. They offer excellent programming year-round, with special events, and their printed programs are works of art you could easily frame and hang at home.
Please never disappear, and never sell this place to Netflix.

This iconic movie theater shows many classics. It is a must for any discerning movie fan. I am grateful to have been able to see Ray, Ozu, and other masters at this theater.

Really beautiful and small art cinema. If you want to enjoy an old film check the website or go directly to the cinema.
We enjoy My fair lady and get in love another time with Audrey Hepburn.
Very confortable seats and good audio and image.

Great place, change the lights though. The icy white makes the ambiance cold and uninviting.

Sweet, neighborhood haunt for cinephiles. Saw an American film by Jim Jarmusch, with French captions. So incredible to be sharing this experience with an appreciative French audience of all ages. Saw an elderly woman with significant mobility issues enter and leave alone, and then go off into the night in a cab — made me love Paris all the more.

I'm an American who loves mid-century movie theaters. I absolutely had to see a film here while staying in St Germaine. My father and I caught a screening of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie and it was incredible. I felt so lucky to be able to sit down and catch a nighttime screening of a classic film in the middle of Paris. I can't begin to explain the chords that this experience struck in me, and I'm so grateful to have had the spur-of-the-moment chance to stop by. The photo my father and I took outside of the entrance is a treasure in and of itself.

Yelp
Great program of French classics and modern independent film, but the screen can be rather dim and it can get a bit warm in the Summer. Ideal for a Truffaut in Novermber.

Yelp
One of the best known and most popular art-house cinemas in Paris, an absolute MUST for the visitor and resident alike. The upstairs theater is more comfortable than the one downstairs one, but both are fine. Since it went digital you don't have to get up in the middle of the film to tell the projectionist that the film is off the screen or that it stopped working or that there was no sound. Those days seem to be over.
Often have festivals of old films (Bergman, Welles, Godard).
Highly recommended.
