Took my 15 year old and 3 year old here on a Wednesday. No wait time and no lines! I assume because it was a weekday. The kids loved this place! We spent a couple of hours here enjoying all it had to offer. My oldest loved the shark tooth dig, mining area & aircraft simulator. My 3 year old loved the ball play area, aquariums, coloring, lego table & soft play area. I would recommend this place for all ages.

My family highly recommends visiting the COX center. It’s a really cute and family friendly center for fun and education. We loved their little aquarium and private telescope experience. The front of the building is currently under construction but it’s still work making the visit.

Inside the facility, you’ll also find: • A NASA-themed station that was both educational and immersive. • A jumping area for kids to burn off energy indoors. • A colorful lollipop corner that was a favorite among younger visitors. • A baby play zone with soft flooring and color balls, perfect for toddlers and infants. • The aquarium section, which featured a variety of fish, turtles, and what appeared to be baby alligators or a similar small reptile species. If possible, consider visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience. I brought my 1 and 2 year old, it was our first time. We had a blast, there's so many fun exhibits to check out. The outdoor area was really cool, their favorite part obviously was the splash pad outside!

Can't wait for expansion completion in 2027. Did expect more, but hadca nice day. Really geared to kids, but fun for adults. Good for a rainy day to explore and keep kuds engaged. Found the video flight simulators the most interesting. The puzzles were fun too.

It was an awesome experience. The kids loved the animatronic dinosaurs and all the cool spy room exhibit. They also had fun learning about or elevation using the neat little sand table.

I loved it here, luckily we got there right in the morning. Hour later it was full We went there after New Year. There are plenty of interesting activities and beautiful aquarium. It was for sure worthy

Cox has made some additions worth checking out! I brought my son here for the Fall Family Festival and we had so much fun. On our visit today we got to experience the museums newest addition: The "Top Secret: License to Spy" exhibit. The festival included face painting, arts & crafts, a bounce house, food trucks and so many other family friendly activities, games and hands on stations.

We recently visited the Cox Science Center & Aquarium while in the area visiting Gram and Pop. I brought my two littles (9 months and 2.5 years). It happened to be Bank of America's Museum on Us weekend, so Gram and I got in free with our cards, and the kids were free due to their ages. That made it an especially affordable and enjoyable day. The museum is currently under construction with an anticipated addition. Even as it stands, there's plenty to do. We were there for about 2 hours. The aquarium is small but engaging, especially for little ones. There's an outside play area with a small splash pad, an inside play space for littles, and numerous interactive stations that encourage hands-on learning. I think this museum is ideal for kids between the ages of 3-7, though younger and older kids can still find things to enjoy. There's a covered outdoor area where you can bring or enjoy lunch, a food truck on-site for hot food, and even a vending machine for quick snacks. Daily admission can be a bit pricey, so if you're local (or plan to visit often), an annual pass may be the best value. Otherwise, the Museums on Us promotion through Bank of America is a fantastic way to visit the first weekend of each month.

Great place to spend a morning or afternoon tucked away from the Florida heat or rain. We took our child for a planetarium show which they loved. The planetarium is very small but the seats are comfortable and have a recline so you can look up. It would be nice if the projector in the center of the room was not blocking part of the image, but maybe this is how it has to be set up with planetariums. The entire science Museum is very well geared towards children, inviting hands-on exploration, and play to take precedence. The price for entry to the museum seems steep considering what's available in comparison to other things in Palm Beach County however it appears they are doing an expansion and if they keep the price is the same once this expansion opens then maybe it will be worthwhile. Or if you live in the area, the $100 year pass could make sense and make it feel like I'm more affordable option than paying the higher price for individual visits.

Great spot to take your kids and family on a hot day. Variety of different activities to do inside and they even have a plan area for kids out back with 2 different food trucks lined up. Admission was discounted if you receive any type of government assistance. Parking was a bit limited due to the construction going on the back but not super hard to find either. It's located right behind the palm beach zoo so you can make a whole outing out of it and visit the zoo as well.

We really liked this museum. The kids enjoyed all the different areas but their favorite were the rockets! We attended a show at the planetarium and really enjoyed it. It's a great size for the little ones and has a nice outdoor area with dinosaurs.

I was visiting my friend and her family. I had my daughters with me and we were looking for something kid friendly and inside to do. My friend recommended the Cox Science Center and I was sold! I love visiting any place that has animals and promotes science. When we arrived the parking lot was pretty full. We got there early afternoon on a Sunday about 12-12:30. The place had families everywhere and they all appeared to be having a great time. The age range of kids with us were 3-16. They have something to offer all ages. There were some areas strictly for younger kids and then others non age restricted. My kids enjoyed the trivia section as well as the aquarium. There was an outdoor portion that centered around prehistoric animals and it was interactive. It was hot outside and there was no shade except against the building which had a patio area. They also have a water pad but we didn't have any swimsuits. There was also an ice cream truck that offered organic frozen lemonade as well as ice cream rolls. The kids really enjoyed that treat. There was another food truck with food but we went to the patio to get some heat relief. We made our way back inside and ended with the hurricane simulator which was fairly popular. There were other interactive stations but we were tired and decided to leave. This place has a good amount to offer and there's some construction going on and signs for expansion. I would love to visit again when it's complete.

I keep coming back to the Cox Science Center & Aquarium in West Palm Beach because it's just so genuinely delightful. From the moment I walk through the doors, I feel like I'm in for something fun and meaningful. The highlight for me is the aquarium. It's not massive, but the tanks are beautifully designed--from native Florida species to colorful coral reefs, sharks, and stingrays. There's even an immersive coral reef tank you can actually step inside and feel surrounded by marine life . The hands-on exhibits are where this place really shines. You can experiment, explore, and touch--everything from brainteasers and hurricanes to conservation stations and the outdoor science trail with mini-golf included . It's the kind of museum where learning sneaks up on you while you're having a blast. I also loved the planetarium shows. They're immersive and a little magical--mixing traditional star projections with full-dome digital views that made me feel like I'd escaped Earth for a few minutes . What stands out most to me is how this place strikes a balance between being educational and just plain fun. Whether I'm geeking out over shark species, playing mini-golf with tropical plants around me, or catching a laser show, I leave feeling inspired and entertained . If you're looking for a museum that's great for families, curious minds, or anyone who likes to mix wow moments with a little STEM, the Cox Science Center & Aquarium is one of my favorite hidden gems in the area.

My family came here to keep my 1 year old niece busy and entertained the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It did just that and kept the rest of us adults entertained as well! We enjoyed the marine life, the interactive science exhibits indoor and outdoors. Our niece loved the mini indoor play gym with the colored balls. We took advantage of the bubble station and outdoor space for letting her run around. There is a splash pad but it was closed during this time, I'm sure it's open during summer weather time. There were picnic tables set outdoors if families wanted to lunch or if you brought snacks etc. There was a food truck that day serving pizza and many people took advantage of that! Looks like the center is expanding and will be bigger and better!

The facility is not handicap friendly. I got stuck in one of their exhibits. The two of us were charged different prices, sad! I strongly suggest anyone going immediately check the receipt to make sure you're not overcharged, as I was. They're doing a lot of construction making entrance to the facility difficult.

This was our first time visiting Cox Science Center. We loved this place! It has a lot to do and see for all ages. I liked the aquarium part and the hands on sections. Our grandkids also had awesome time. Definitely recommend you visit this place and check out all the different areas they have. We spent about 3 hours walking around.

I had the opportunity to come here and the place was interesting. There are a nice area where kids can learn about science using cool games. They also have a good area outdoors for kids to enjoy. Some of the things I didn't like were the limited parking spaces, and the small fish tanks they have. It seems that the fish were suffering.

We've had a membership here for three years now. It has slowly gone downhill. The price during the renovations is the same despite several parts of the center being closed. My son loves anything outer space related, so we naturally got tickets for the black hole show. The man leading the show was beyond rude about my 2 year old showing his excitement, pausing several times to ask for quietness and loudly shushing throughout the show (which in my opinion was more distracting than my son). Keep in mind, this is a kid and family oriented place so I can imagine the other families didn't mind (there was only two other families). After the show he stared me and my children down until we left the room. It made us beyond uncomfortable and will not be renewing our membership. We've been on the fence for quite some now about renewing and this was the nail in the coffin.

Great for young children - 10 or younger. Anything older may find it redundant and boring. Best best would be to bring a mixed group and let them watch over each other after you get them checked in. Parking lot had too many cars speeding around corners and even big SUC/trucks pulled out too quickly almost turning children and adults into speed bumps. Still has construction but that could be ending "soon" Once checked in the children can run free to anything that interests them. On this last visit there were a few things out of order but everything had a sign up so we're assuming someone knows and it working on it on the backend. Hurricane tube will have a short line but the engineering sections are perfect for individual and group play and have seating if you want a short break. Great way to spend a few hours with small children.

What is today known as the Cox Science Center and Aquarium was founded as the Junior Museum of Palm Beach County in 1961 by the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. It was a modest 980 square feet upon opening. In 1964 the museum received an addition that housed a planetarium dedicated by and named after astronaut Buzz Aldrin. In the 1980's the name was changed to the South Florida Science Museum. On November 15, 2021 the museum's name was changed to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium in honor of the 20 million dollar donation made by Howard and Wendy Cox. Today the museum is 40,000 square feet, with an average annual attendance of over 375,000 visitors and an outreach to 175,000 public and private school children from Palm Beach, Martin, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Currently the museum is working to complete a 45 million dollar expansion project that is targeted to open in 2026 with expanded exhibit and programming spaces and one of Florida's largest aquariums. On the first weekend of the month the museum is free to Bank of America account holders. All you have to do is show proof of your account and your ID. I took advantage of the Museums on Us program to visit the museum for the temporary Titanic: the Artifact Exhibition on display until April. Titanic the Artifact Exhibition uses 81 artifacts recovered from the wreck 2.5 miles below the oceans surface to tell the story of the doomed ship. You can pick up a boarding pass before you enter the exhibit and at the end you can scan it and see if your passenger survived the voyage. Other exhibits in the museum include Journey Through the Human Brain, a neuroscience exhibit, the outdoor Fischer Family Science Trail with fifteen exhibits, including a Physics Forest, FPL SolarScape, splash pad, gem panning station, shark tooth dig pit, a dinosaur walk, and picnic areas, Aquariums of the Atlantic with sea life from Florida's diverse ecosystems of the Everglades, coral reefs, gulf stream, and the ocean, The Conservation Course, an 18 hole miniature golf course designed by Gary Nicklaus and Jim Fazio, the Marvin Deckelboum Planetarium, the only public planetarium in Palm Beach, the Observatory with one of the largest F/11 refractors in the state, The Hidden World of the Everglades which teaches about Florida's indigenous and invasive wildlife, Science on a Sphere hat uses computers and video projectors to display planetary data onto a six-foot diameter sphere, States of Matter with hands-on displays representing the states of matter, including solid, liquid, gas and plasma displays, Out of This World which features rare space artifacts and real rocks from space, and Brain Teasers which challenges your mind with puzzles. I love how hands on this museum is which helps to capture children's interest and makes science come to life for them. Besides the Titanic exhibit I enjoyed seeing all of the ocean life in the aquarium. I really look forward to the expansion in this area. While walking around I was invited to come up and see the observatory where they had a telescope looking at the surface of the sun. It was such a cool and personalized experience. Although this museum is small I think they really nail the personalization aspect of your visit. There are people everywhere conducting experiments and offering to show you things and talk to you. Another great thing about this museum is that it is located in Dreher Park along with the Palm Beach Zoo. If you are a visitor to West Palm Beach it is very convenient to do both attractions in one day. I hadn't been here since they changed the name to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium and it was better than I expected. With all of the great improvements to come, the future of science education in West Palm Beach looks bright.

It seems like every ounce of care or dollar of funding missing from the zoo around the corner has been poured into making the Science Museum into something new and wondrous. I've been coming here forever, since the boy mummy, and the shell collection, and the mastodon skeleton seemed like permanent residents, and although I miss them all, what they have done to this place is nothing less than amazing. The aquarium is top notch, with clean tanks, healthy looking fish and corals, and clear, colorful signage. I wasn't terribly impressed with the current rotating guest exhibit as something for myself, but the quality and care that went into it are pretty obvious. The entire area our back has been revamped, the mini golf is drastically improved and there are some cool interactive exhibits as well.

My sister had given us tickets to see Mesmerica. An incredible show with the plushest seats. No seat in the house would be bad.

Very interesting museum. I love the human brain exhibit, the Hurricane simulator and all the cool things to see. Plan to play miniature golf too. Lots of fun.

The children's science museum offered a highly interactive experience. It featured many things . It has two exciting playgrounds, along with an impressive Titanic exhibit that was both informative and captivating.

The facility is undergoing major construction--I think they're putting in dinosaur models which will be awesome in 2 years--but we were able to get shaded parking close to the entrance. Because my husband is a veteran (and maybe because it's low season?), they graciously gave us a very nice discount on tickets. The path is fully paved over (ADA friendly) and much of it is shaded from trees. We saw lots of animals up close and it reminded us of Homossassa Wildlife Park. There were groups of kids touring, but they were well behaved.

This place is not just for kids. We went with friends and made an afternoon of it. The aquarium is cool. We enjoyed a round of mini golf and the show planetarium show. We even had fun in the dinosaur exhibit.

Fun and educational, my son had a great time looking at the fish. Family fun for all.

There were very few exhibits, and the mission aerospace was not as informative or exciting despite being paraded as the big exhibit of the museum.

Went there on a free Saturday (Thanks to the BofA Free Museum weekend offer). The place is not far from the highway and there's free parking. There are a few main sections: - Discovery area: Lots of learning for kids and adults, brain area, senses, puzzles, brain teasers, etc. - Aquarium: Small area with turtles, seahorse, fish, sharks, clown fish, etc. Well documented. - Trail: Outside area for walking or for kids to play around. - Dinosaur exhibit area: Lots of learning for kids and adults alike. - Planetarium: I went to the traditional Skies over Palm Beaches. It was ok. They talked about 5 planets and 4-5 constellations, not great, but basic. - There's a small cafe that serves basic fare. Overall fun for kids so they can get their hands busy.

Sunday, I went to see Mesmerica 360. The show was very nice, however, the sitting was not pleasant. You have to be a contortionist. Chair are not angled enough, this show would have been better at the IMAX theater and in 3D. But, for the most, it was a nice experience to watch and hear.

Cox has laser light shows to music once a month. This month you could choose from the Beatles at 6, Taylor swift at 7, or Queen at 8. We went to Queen at 8. It was a pretty cool experience... laser lights in the planetarium to Queen music. $13 is the cost.

$52 for two people on a weekday in the middle of the week was absolutely ridiculous. Advertised as an aquarium but the pet store might have more fish. Would not recommend to anyone.

This is such a great place in more ways than one. They have done such a great job in updating it and are doing further building as well. By 2026 it will look totally different. I hadn't been here in so long that I was simply amazed as to what I was looking at! There are so many great exhibits - and they've really stepped up their game with larger than life dinosaurs! The building has a few different areas- space, sea life, physical nature, robotics and a planetarium! I actually love the aquarium area with all of the fish and more! I also love the outside where they now have dinosaurs, a stage, mini golf, a small water sprinkler area and more. I know they are expanding their cafe and their exhibits as well! If you want bring your own and sit in a picnic table outside! Or go to the cafe and have a burger, hotdog, grilled cheese or the like. You can pretend you're an astronaut, go inside a wind tunnel and more! There is even an area where you can sit and listen to a presentation (which I did with my group)! It is near The Palm Beach Zoo so you could do both if you were really adventurous! Parking is free and you won't have a problem finding a space (be creative)! You could also take Bright Line and Uber from the train to the museum! So where there's a will there's a way!

As a first time yelp reviewer, i strive to only bring honesty to this community as i respect the art and craft. Enough with my credentials, my girlfriend took me here for the big 20th and it slayeddddddddd. The puffer fish was excellent. Coloring station added the extra pizazz every lesbian is looking for. Highly recommend.

What a treasure to find! Had actually planned to visit Yesteryear Village in the area but it was (open stated on web site) Closed! This was close and a perfect place to spend a really hot Florida afternoon. Imagine our surprise when we discovered the "Military Discount" was 100%! As in free! At first glance it was an aquarium with very interesting displays. Then general nature exhibits, science displays and tons of information. I was really enthralled by the video display/movie about Titan, the closest earth-like planet in our solar system. Wonderful displays of science exhibits and puzzles. There seemed to be dozens aimed at children but most stumped us! I think I only solved 2 and even missed a couple even after reading the solution. A pin wall to press your face against to see your portrait on the other side. Another great display was a glass cabinet to give you a taste of hurricane force winds. The gauge said 120 mph, not sure if wind got that strong but it was a hefty wind! Another great display was a darkened room where a strobe light transferred your shadow to a white wall temporarily. Even a mini-golf course and a splash area. Oh and a planetarium but no show when we were there. You got to check this place out! Especially with kids or grandkids.

I expect more, is not bad but either the best place. I went with my daughter in less the 1 hour we were ready to leave.

Wowzers! What a great evening and event held at the recently renamed science museum. I hadn't visited since prior to Covid and more than likely since 2018. The changes are magnificent. I positively love the aquarium! The displays and the fish (and baby gator) are truly spectacular! The fish are engaging like you can't imagine. The puffer fish was legit trying to be my BFF and I captured some awesome closeup photos of it. The baby alligator was having a hissing match with his shadow. Finally, some of the fish are simply cool all on their own doing nothing but being their own beautiful selves. To name a few of the types you'll enjoy: moray eel, nurse shark, seahorses and spadefish, Currently, the museum is featuring the Dinosaur Revolution through November 28th. There are some pretty cool life size and larger dinosaurs! Additionally, there are lots of fun and interactive activities for children along with an awesome outdoor area and small amphitheater. An on-site restaurant is located on the patio deck and the center offers a variety of fun events for both adults and children. I highly recommend visiting their URL to take advantage of some of these such as Science on Tap or the Winter Wonderland Laser Lights & Bites. I am looking forward to returning the Center soon. Cox offers a wide variety of discounted programs so all can affordably enjoy the museum. This was my first visit to the Science Center and Aquarium. Although it is pretty small and some of the displays seem antiquated, we enjoyed ourselves and learned some things. The Planetarium film about black holes was informative but the video seemed a bit uninspired. It consisted of lots of swirling "clouds". Perhaps a more creative way to portray black holes and their formation can be devised? The hurricane wind tunnel was a fun - and safe - way to experience 115 mph winds. And the functional prosthetic arm was fascinating although it didn't perform particularly well (a piece may have been missing?) The exhibit about the brain was also interesting. Again, some of the presentation seemed dated and overly long-winded. The various puzzles were fun and challenging. Unfortunately the directions on a few of them were unclear so we weren't sure about the objectives. The aquarium was enjoyable as we saw a wide range of fish in a small area. Having multiple tanks was helpful as we could more easily see the variety of fish and coral. There were sanitizing stations located throughout the facility, and everyone wore masks as required. With so many hands-on activities, I wonder if the staff can effectively keep everything clean. Visitors should be diligent about using the sanitizer after touching anything. Overall, it's a nice, but not great, science center. Although, many of the activities are geared toward children, adults and can fun and learn some things too.

This is clearly a place for kids only. The aquarium is one room and we saw about 12 different, mostly boring fish. The other room is just a hands on display area for kids. Luckily, you get free admission with a military ID. We really were there for the mini-golf. This is a course that does not give out scorecards and there are no obstacles on the pretty course. It is almost more like 18 practice holes, but bring your own pen to keep score.

What an amazing place for children and adults alike! My son is very into dinosaurs so we came during the dinosaur exhibit. The exhibit is indoors and outdoors with animatronic dinosaurs that are so realistic ! He loved it. There are multiple rooms throughout the museum and even a room geared towards smaller children with a water play table, books, costumes for dress up, so much for the littles to do. My son could've easily stayed here all day. In the outdoor play area they have a small splash pad... I wasn't prepared for this so I definitely kept my son's attention from the inviting splash pad. There is a small cafe with slim options and hot coffee. I wish they had a bigger selection of coffee.. I do like my coffee and most parents would agree that we thrive on it . Such an amazing place where education and fun blend into one

The Science Center and Aquarium is fun for the kids and stimulating for the adults. I specifically enjoyed the one tank in the aquarium part of the museum where you can crawl under in peak up in the middle of one of the tanks -- pretending to swim with the fishies... like I did. But I digress. They have a dinosaur exhibit currently, where you go through this maze and learn about the history of dinosaurs. The kids definitely enjoyed going through the maze, as the various stops were interactive. They enjoyed heading outside where we saw one of the museum people bring out a fairly large bearded dragon that I think was orange... or maybe it was yellow. I can't remember but it was cool -- we have one also at home. They have some cool interactive exhibits outside as well that was fun to enjoy. The Science Center and Aquarium have a lot of fun interactive exhibits through out -- hurricane simulator, flash frame, amongst others. Make sure you get there early though because parking spots will fill up quickly.

I am not a museum lover and I never intentionally plan on going to a museum, but this time my destiny took me to this place. And I have to confess I loved it! It was a fun and different enjoyable experience. This museum is not only for children but also for adults. Entering the museum, an aquarium exhibiting different types of marine animals welcomes you first. Inside, the museum has different areas where you can find different interactive exhibitions on science, technology, physics, and chemistry. The museum has a small cafeteria in the back where you can buy snacks. There is also an outdoor mini-golf course, water park for the kids, science trail, and a garden with dinosaur statues. This is a great place to share with your children or just go with your partner to have some fun in interactive learning exhibitions. Now let's talk about tickets. This museum is not free but thanks to Bank of America with its new "Museum on us" program, we were able to visit this place without having to pay anything. It is a program that allows you to enter some selected museums for free only for the first weekend of each month. So if you already have a Bank of America account, take advantage and have fun for free. If you are looking to spend some time in West Palm Beach, this place is a great option.

A very small and quaint museum with lots to do and lots of picture opportunities! Very affordable too! For an interactive museum, I was very pleased that they were strictly abiding by the safety guidelines during this pandemic. There were staff members cleaning before and after you touching an interactive spot. And also I had brought hand sanitizer anyways. The pathway was one way which served a great flow. You won't miss a thing! Mini golf was included and I had fun with some putt putt. It was quite warm out; wished they had outdoor fans, but it was not a huge deal. I like how it wasn't so packed. Overall, I felt safe here. I did my part as well (keeping my mask on and my hands clean). It was a fun time here!

Loved visiting this museum. First off, I didn't even realize that there was this cool of a museum this close to me! The staff were so nice and helpful. I visited during the Titanic exhibit. The exhibit was really interesting--I enjoyed getting a real Titanic visitor's "ticket" and reading about them. The aquarium area was really enchanting. My favorite part was the area with the brain teaser/ hands-on games and the shadow photo box room! I can't wait to visit again. With or without kids (I went with another adult), you'll have a great time.

This place is a joke. It's hardly an aquarium with a handful of fish tanks. This dinosaur exhibit is basically just curtains with words on it in some sort of menacing maze shape. I can't believe they actually charge a fee to enter. Much better free options in palm beach county to bring littles!

Such a fun space for the kiddos and the family. Go early to avoid the long lines. And enjoy the different areas they have for the kids. Dinosaur space, Fish tanks, water management, electricity, light, sound, so much learning in an interactive way. Our favorites areas were the water management room for the small tots, and the interactive electric hall. The Hurricane simulator and the tornado simulator were cool too! Bring your kids and your inner kid as well. 5 out of 5 stars!

This place is cute for kids. Kind of small but there's an awesome toddler room and a decent amount of fish etc in the aquarium! Kids 2 and under are free which really makes it worth it for me. There's a mini golf which is scenic and a tiny splash pad. They also had a couple food trucks parked outside which was cool.

This review is based on two adults. I'm glad I gained free entry using my Bank of America Bank Card on the first weekend of the month. My friend and I completed our visit in 35 minutes. Children will love this place because of the number of interactive items for them. Adults will pass through the museum very quickly. $16.95 is quite pricey for the size of museum. There is a planetarium show that cost $5 extra. The outdoor mini golf is extra also. There is a playground outside. There is a parking lot. The staff is friendly. There are fish tanks to look at. There are interactive mind puzzle/games. There is a wind tunnel that gets up to 78 MPH to demonstrate a hurricane. Overall, this is definitely a place for kids and not adults.

We often come here during the Bank of America weekend where entry is free if you have one of their cards with you! 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 1 year old for only about $15... the cost of the 3 year old's entry (he doesn't have any credit accounts yet). My kids absolutely love it here and have a blast every time we come. The rotating exhibits give us something new to check out with every visit. I highly recommend coming to check out this science center, especially with the BofA deal each month.

My family had a wonderful time. The Planetarium show is definitely worth it. Lovely area, and we definitely will be back. My daughter loved the aquarium.

The science museum is decent. But horrible conditions for the aquarium unfortunately. Many fish were crammed into tiny tanks. If you stick around long enough after the initial excitement of seeing the fish you'll start to notice horrible repetitive behavior of the fish due to being in captivity. This big Pacu was kept in a very small enclosure and showed signs of repetitive behavior and aggression. He kept lunging and biting the smaller fish showed in the picture. Unfortunately the smaller fish being attacked did not have much of a choice to swim away somewhere else. Pacu are originally from South America rivers. It's sad to see that this one has to live in such a small space. The turtle enclosure was ridiculously small for the amount and size of the turtles kept inside. I've seen these many of these tropical fish and turtles in the wild while free diving and it saddens me to see the state in which these are kept in. The facility should really have bigger tanks. Please make your tanks bigger or have less fish inside them.

This may be the worst science center I've ever been to in my entire life. It also shouldn't be allowed to have the word Aquarium in its title. I went here for a rainy day activity and it's criminal how they charge you $51 for 2 people including the "planetarium" which was so boring I walked out of it. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is so misleading. They make it look like on their website that there is tons of stuff to do. The "Aquarium" is a few fish tanks with 2 baby alligators in the smallest enclosure ever which shouldn't be legal. It took 10 minutes to walkthrough this entire place. I will never ever be going back here and nor would I recommend anyone to go and visit. Sure if you have kids and nothing else to do and feel like wasting your money then go here.
