My friend and I did the Rocky Mountain National Park day tour and were SO SO pleased. We got super lucky since 6 people on our tour cancelled last minute and we basically had a private tour! It was just 4 of us and our guide, Robert. Robert was so friendly, full of stories, and very funny! The tour is in a 14 seater Mercedes sprinter van. Very spacious and he has a microphone to narrate / talk during the ride. Every part of the experience was amazing. We were very nervous about the elevation but it wasn’t an issue at all! Every stop was very beautiful and we had ample time to explore each. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

This tour was awesome! So glad I decided to do it. Brian was my groups tour guide and he kept things fun but he also knew so much and was willing to share and answer all the groups questions. I did the Rocky Mountain park tour and it’s beyond worth it! The scenery alone made the entire trip! We got to see some elk while we were out too. The provided lunch was good. The trip lasts the 8.5hrs which felt like ample time and I never felt like we were rushed from site to site. Highly recommend doing this tour! It was cheaper than me renting a car and getting into the park myself- and lunch was included on top of it. Als, the bus you ride on is very comfortable and spacious.

Mark was an incredible guide for our group! He was very attentive and ensured everyone in our group was content and taken care of. He had lunch for us, had spare jackets for Pikes Peak, and even was prepared for altitude sickness by having barf bags on board our vehicle. Mark also talked to everyone and took photos for everyone in our group to make sure we had the best experience possible! Would highly recommend to anyone!

The tour was amazing! Sir Mark, our tour guide, was very helpful and informative. He shared a lot of information about the places we visited, along with some interesting stories. He made sure the journey was never boring. One thing I really appreciated about him was that he always asked if we needed water every time we got back in the van. Overall, the experience was truly great. Thank you!

This tour was an amazing time. It is a day well spent and our guide, Mr. Robert, was fabulous and knowledgeable. We stopped for wonderful vistas and saw animals along the way, even a moose! I highly recommend this day trip. My only complaint is on our bus, a couple talked incessantly and had no qualms about disrupting the peace for the other 10 participants. These men chatted and cackled about nothing the entire time just to hear themselves speak like a couple of high schoolers that can’t read the room. The rudeness was overwhelming. I wish the driver had said something to them about how distracting it was for the others in the bus. He was just too professional and polite I think, which is commendable. If they left 10 seconds of silence, that was generous. It really ruined the majestic vibe of this mountain tour. If you want to talk like you are in your living room, don’t jump on a bus tour with other people and subject them to your babble. A little decorum goes a long way. Ridiculous!

My sister and I took the Rocky Mountain National Park Tour on November 3rd. We were extremely pleased. We couldn’t have asked for a better day weather wise. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable and entertaining! He was full of details about the area and the park. We had an excellent lunch. The other members of the group were so nice. I highly recommend this tour. It was well worth it!

Explorer Tours’ Rocky Mountain National Park trip was amazing! Brian was a terrific guide — fun and knowledgeable. We started in Estes Park with a stop at the iconic Stanley Hotel, then headed into RMNP for stunning mountain views and a peaceful lunch at Sprague Lake with Moose, Blue Jays, Mule Deer, Wild Turkeys, Pikas, birds of prey, and Yellow-bellied Marmots. Trail Ridge Road was jaw-dropping, and the whole day felt like a perfect Colorado postcard with endless mountain peaks and topography. Highly recommend!

We took a tour today with Mark. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. He shared a wealth of information in a very fun way. Mark was always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. He was very personable and even helped us with pictures while we were on the trip. We were provided with water and had a nice lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour company. Mark was an excellent guide and we had a wonderful time at pike's peak and the garden of the gods.

Yelp
We had the good luck to have Michelle, possibly Mary as our guide for the Rocky Mountain National Park tour. The 'possibly Mary' part is a joke. When I said I'd write this up on Yelp, she said her name was Mary. She met us at the flagpole outside of Union Station right on time. One of our party was late and therefore we got a little late start. Once on the road, we got a little history of Denver in general. Informative. We stopped along the way in St. Vrain. Small town. We stopped at a general store for a potty break and of course to purchase. It smelled delicious in there. Sausage, baked goods, etc. Once in the park we had lunch. Turkey sandwiches from the Farmers Market. Good eats. We drove to different spots in the park. Fall colors at the end of their peak, but still gorgeous. We saw many elk. It's rutting time and it was interesting to watch the males steal the women from each other. The elk 'bugle' is kind of neat and creepy. Returning to Denver we were taken through Boulder. Quite the bustling city. It was a great time. Michelle had her iPod filled with various playlists. Most enjoyable. Thanks, Michelle. 10/06/21 Today we tour the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Our tour guide is Jim, a really laid back and just all around cool guy. We are being transported in a Mercedes Sprinter. Very nice and roomy. We travel through Colorado Springs, see the city and the Air Force academy. The first stop is the garden. Beautiful oxides formations of all shapes and sizes. The fun part was watching a family climb one of these large rocks. Actually, it looked like dad teaching the two kids and mom snapping pics. The kids were no older than 5-8 years old, but they were climbing little monkeys. It was mom making me nervous as she backed up to take the pics. Didn't want to see her topple over the edge. From here we go to Pikes Peak. What a difference in scenery and temperature. The garden was warm at about 75, while the peak was about 38. At the top there is a cafe where you can purchase drinks, food and the best thing of all - daily baked cake doughnuts. Cinnamon sugar or chocolate glazed. 'Chocolate glazed' doesn't do them justice. The icing is thick fudge-like and just awesome. When we checked in at the entrance gate, the ranger said we wouldn't be able to go to the top because of pending weather. But when we got to the point she said we could not go beyond, there was nothing to stop us so we went to the top and doughnuts. Yea!! But mother cold and windy, making the temp feel even colder. But beautiful views. Of course the obligatory souvenir shop is attached to the cafe. Ha, ha. Fun, fun. Jim got us to the top!

Yelp
Roman is the best! He did such a great job on Thursday that we booked a second tour on Friday! Luckily he was our guide on Friday too! Super informative, super professional and super accommodating!
