First of all, the products are all very high-quality. Essentially they are in the business of craftsmanship rather than manufacturing. But that is quite clear from the other reviews. There was some small confusion over when my item would be delivered - D R Harris not only refunded me the postage fee but also sent it quickly AND put in my parcel a lovely bar of soap and lovely toothpaste! Great customer service.

We spent hours searching through oxfrd street & walked all the way around central london looking for antibiotics, with no luck until Dr Harris popped up ! I’ve used Dr.Harris soaps & products before and randomly remembered its a pharmacy, so once we arrived here they didn’t have any antibiotics either but spared us more walking around town and phoned up all pharmacies they knew, they found the children’s antibiotics and reserved them for us in a totally different pharmacy! They were so helpful the entire time, and didn’t care about their customers going elsewhere, as long as we found what we were looking for, this is true, professional customer service - to the max ! It’s always so refreshing to find beautiful shops like this with amazing customer service and not to mention the beautiful interior!!!

This is the brand main shop, they have also online store and other shops around UK. Unfortunately, due to regulation they can not send anywhere in the world. So, while I Visited London, I came to this shop. There are 3 main things you should know: 1. This brand is well known in UK and have some unique items and fragrances like no other! 2. Founded in 1790! more than 200 years! And they are extremely professional! 3. They are not cheap, but they have some bargains such as 500 ml size bottle for refill and thus the price is reduced. I Use their "Arlington" After Shave for more than a decade, it was a present from my brother and ever since I take every opportunity I Have to buy new one. They have many many items and fragrances also skin care and shaving products, in the main shop they have it all or most of them and the seller would be glad to help and give you try their testers and products.

Great shop, though the staff is racist. I usually buy my toiletries from this shop. All products are great and the shop's heritage is truly wonderful. I last visited the shop about 3 weeks ago. There was a sales assistant (a bald-ish and scruffy looking man) who just stood by and greeted me with a "good afternoon" when I entered. There were no other customers around. Then he went and stood behind the till while I browsed on my own. About 45 seconds later, a white man with a fancy hat walked in and all of a sudden this sales assistant came running to him saying "Sir, may I help you with anything at all?" -- funnily enough he never asked me that! He followed the other customer around for the entire duration of his stay, and this customer eventually left without buying anything. By this point, I had picked out my usual 9-10 items. Now, when this man realised that I was there for some serious business, he reluctantly walked over and said "can I place these at the till for you?". He eventually billed me for the purchase and placed all the items in a shopping bag. D R Harris always tie their shopping bags with a ribbon and although this sales assistant was about to pick one out, he decided not to and just handed me the open bag and coldly said "have a good day". I can only say that D R Harris does have a good heritage, but they are also equally stuck in the old days of racist Britain if this is how they choose to treat their non-white customers (which I am not ashamed to admit that I am).

Very nice shop with one of my favourite brands of shaving supplies. Probably the best smelling soaps you can buy! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have been shaving with a safety razor for several years now. I support man products and the art of shaving. While visiting London I did want to check out the store. They have a nice line of product options. But when asking about the products the customer service was only fair at best. To bad as if the service was better I would of brought more.

Not just a Pharmacy, this is a 200 year old London treasure. Tucked away on St James Street D R Harris more a homage to olde than a pharmacy. But it also happens to be a wet shavers emporium. With a fantastic selection of soaps, creams and brushes for London gentlemen to meet their shaving needs. It also sells the best lip balm, second to none. It's my wife favourite. This unassuming yet marvelous business sells its wears all over the world and in some of the finest stores. And the regulars are something to behold.

The products, services and the sheer history of this shop are all amazing. It was out if our way but we were both extremely glad we stopped by. Ladies, there are things here for you too! It's not just shaving products! Hair products, facial creams, lip balm, lovely soaps. It's a proper chemist too!

Their almond shaving cream smells so.... good. I brought a jar back for my dad and he loved it. This company has been around forever and only produce high quality products. Their store is conveniently located near Piccadilly.

Quirky little Pharmacist where you can pick up some unique gifts, like breath mints, throat lozenges, soaps, and notions. It is over 200 years old and just a funky place. The staff are super helpful and have products that are specifically packaged to take through airport security. Fun place to poke around.

The products are great and the pharmacist very helpful. It's also convenient to where I work. However I don't always feel very welcome. I picked up a prescription recently and the assistant was doing some stocktaking; I said hello and he replied, then immediately went back to his work, then another customer came in and they started chatting! I did manage to interject that I was there to get a prescription and the assistant, though looking slightly irritated, got it for me quickly, presumably so he could carry on his conversation. Perhaps it's due to it being (or at least feeling like) a bit of a 'man's shop'. Still, the products are wonderful, so many that make great presents too, and I love the bath essences; I'll probably just avoid going in if a certain assistant is there as I wouldn't want to feel as though I was interrupting.

Great little chemist and has been around for ages. Was first introduced to their products when received in our British Airways first class kit (great lip balm). And now love their products.
