The 30 Best Wine Bars In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"Bambino has an energetic and friendly atmosphere, and a giant wall of records they spin on a player behind the bar, so it’s an ideal place to natural wines while listening to great music. The fact that they also serve really great bar food, like a rotisserie chicken sandwich dripping in jus, spinach-stuffed calzones, and grilled corn covered in pecorino cheese and crushed hazelnuts, is a bonus. Their wine selection is extensive, but don’t bother with the list: Just tell the somm what you’re after and they’ll make a solid suggestion. The kitchen closes at 11pm, but they keep pouring wine until 2am." - sara lieberman, tanisha townsend

"Bambino! Because it's the perfect place for vinyl lovers, but also for its warm atmosphere, its subdued lighting, its great selection of wines and cocktails and its low prices!" -Héloïse Salessy, Fashion Editor - Vogue Paris"

Bambino - Review - 11th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

Atmosphere was well enjoyed, the service is lovely up to a point, friendly but stiff. The beef tartare was good, muscles not fresh quite a few unopened ones in my plate :/. Everything else was just okay… compared to other wine bars in the area the price isn’t justified by the taste. Quality is there but flavors are lacking… I see the vision but underdeveloped menu, this time around.

We didn’t eat, only had drinks. The atmosphere was very cozy, with dimmed lighting, candles, and a vinyl record playing in the background. It felt as if time slowed down, allowing each song to play through rather than being part of a fast, commercial playlist

As much as I’d love to recommend this place for its vibey, inviting atmosphere, I was genuinely appalled by the service. When I arrived, I was asked to wait at the bar until my friend arrived, which was completely understandable. However, I was already starving and ready to order a full meal, so I asked if it would be possible to be seated at a two-person table while the restaurant was still filling up. I was told, “Since your friend isn’t here yet, you can order while waiting at the bar.” I replied, “You want me to eat a full meal while standing at the bar?” and they said yes. I was honestly shocked. They still wouldn’t seat me — even after I had already ordered and had a drink in hand. When my friend finally arrived, we were seated at a three-person table, which was fine. But in the middle of our meal, we were asked twice if we would move back to the bar because they needed our table for a larger party. We had just ordered again and were waiting for our food. It felt rude and careless, like they could just move us around whenever it suited them, without any consideration for basic comfort or hospitality. The atmosphere is great, but the service was disorganized and surprisingly inconsiderate.

Great ambiance! A bit pricey, but definitely worth the experience. The music was fantastic (we even Shazamed several songs!) and the atmosphere was beautifully romantic, perfect for a date night. The food was excellent, made with high-quality ingredients and felt almost like a tasting menu. The dessert was fabulous, and the drinks matched the vibe perfectly. I highly recommend this place for a quality Parisian date night that feels truly special and out of the ordinary.

The place has this beautiful decoration but that’s all you’re going to see!! I am once again disappointed to come to a super hyped place on social media for no reason! It’s just an instagrammable place, but it’s very tiny, you have nowhere to sit or stay because there are tables in the middle, the music is sooo boring, how could this be defined as a bar dansante by some? It’s definitely not the vibe I expected, it’s just a place to get an overpriced drink and have nowhere to sit… or be asked to go downstairs and sit by the toilets… I’d rather have a drink at home!

Fun atmosphere and pleasant design, excellent food and a great selection of wines. The service was friendly but not quite professional enough.

Front of house were extremely rude (borderline arrogant) wouldn’t let us in the building 1 minute before our reservation and then in an empty restaurant sat people right next to us and demanded we put our bags in the cloakroom. The waiters on the other hand were very nice. Oil felt like it had been reused as me and my friend now have an upset stomach and still water was not chilled and felt like tap water instead of bottled (eventhough it was in a bottle)

I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and the quality of the food, which exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is exactly as you would imagine—simply perfect. The service was exceptional, with the server being super nice. However, I did find the prices for alcohol to be a bit high, especially the orange wine at 11€ and other wines which were 10€.
