Sueños Tulum

It’s a fantastic stay. Family running hotel, with love in each detail. Design of the hotel is fantastic and rooms are perfect (if you are couple - master suite is recommended strongly). If you want to rest and relax this is a place you have to choose. Only 15-20 minutes walking by beach to night dancing clubs in the centre of zone. Restaurant at the hotel is very good also and only for people who stay at the hotel and pricing is very reasonable for Tulum. Not like beach clubs hotels where people can buy tickets and use facilities. Suppose it was the best hotel for our 3weeks trip in Mexico. Great shop is nearby (1 minute walk) - you can buy what you want (cold beer, wine, cheese, jamon, even coffee). Great!

We had the best time at Suenos, this is the most special hotel we have ever stayed at. You can move around barefoot and the hotel grounds are just magical like a Mayan jungle sanctuary. The beach is the most wonderful we have ever seen, with white sand, turquoise shallow warm water and the prettiest fish. The beach was so private and calm, the nicest part we’ve seen left and right. The breakfast especially and all food and drinks were delicious. We loved everyone working here and the super cute dogs, it truly felt like staying with friends. It was great for the kids, we were able to borrow sand toys and all food requests were made possible. The location is perfect, with their own parking area and a supermarket right across the street and amazing restaurants to the left and right in walking distance. I recommend renting a car to visit the ruins and cenotes. Thank you for a week in paradise!

What a special place! Staying at Sueños was the absolute highlight of our trip. I’ll note that we had also booked a few nights at La Zebra to mix things up and we immediately regretted not just staying put (Zebra had nice rooms, but felt a lot more crowded, slick, and impersonal). The property feels like a magical secret jungle garden, the staff are lovely (and they were wonderful with our 3 and 5 year old kiddos), and the beach somehow felt very private, despite being flanked by all the other hotels. The included breakfast was delicious and generous, and I loved that the front desk area had extra sun screen to use, kids beach toys to borrow, and drinking water available. Our ground floor beach suite was super clean and cute, with a very private feeling front patio area (despite being right by the pool - actually very convenient). We also didn’t wear shoes the whole time there and I could feel my blood pressure drop every time I walked through the property. I’m not necessarily sold on Tulum but I really want to go back with our family, just to stay at Sueños.

Fantastic eco hotel built and located in the jungle environment right on the beach - great attention to detail and the overall design of the property and facilities as well as the rooms is amazing! The owners Elisabetta and Jorge as well as Giovanna are very friendly and the staff themselves are a great asset to the hotel.We only stayed 2 nights but wish it had been longer - we will no doubt return!

Suenos is a lovely place, very special, a small hotel that just might be the best place to stay in all of Tulum. The garden is gorgeous, and the beach blissful. I appreciated that there was plenty of shade available on the beach, under substantial palapas or on sun beds with shades or even swaying on a hammock strung between two coconut palms. There's also a beautiful pool tucked away in the garden for a dip. The food is superb - a beautiful breakfast that's complimentary every morning that made me feel like I'd woken up in paradise (we had colorful birds hopping around us as we ate.) The chef also prepared us beautiful dinners - healthy, delicious and reasonably priced, so we wound up eating at the hotel almost every night. The staff is superb - friendly and helpful and always there but also not there, if you want to be left alone. We read on the beach, swam in the waves, took long long beach walks on the sand, enjoyed romantic dinners. It was a perfect getaway. After ten days, we were so relaxed, even the prospect of heading home seemed okay. This beautiful garden of a small hotel really is the ultimate getaway. And you can just walk down the beach if you feel like shaking your tail feathers at one of the louder, larger places with the djs spinning electronica. We were happy to chill in the quiet and beauty of Suenos.

After nearly 14 years, I had the chance to return to the beautiful town of Tulum 🇲🇽 and stay once again at Cabañas Sueños Tulum. From the moment I arrived, everything felt just as magical as I remembered — the warm and welcoming staff 🤗, the stunning natural surroundings 🌴, and a cozy room (Luna) with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea 🌊.||Over the years, the lush vegetation has grown beautifully 🌺, adding even more charm and privacy to the property. It’s peaceful, authentic, and full of soul — a true hidden gem.||Sueños holds a very special place in my heart ❤️, and I’m so grateful I got to return. Everything about this place is beautiful!! Our family of 5 adults from Australia spent a week at Suenos and we loved every minute of it 💝 it’s in the best location and the staff maintain the beachfront to perfection. The whole resort is gorgeous. It’s a tranquil Small boutique property and even though there were other guests we felt like it was our own private home! The staff, the accommodation, the food, the daily breakfast, the whole place is uniquely divine! Thank you so much Yare and the rest of the staff. We are having serious Suenos withdrawal already 💝🇲🇽😊

Suenos has much to offer in that it is situated quite strategically in Tulum....far enough away from louder clubbing venues but sufficiently close to the restaurant scene. It is on the beach, and you get a small complimentary breakfast each morning. There a couple (mostly friendly) dogs on the property, in addition to a couple birds that frequent the dining tables. As for the humans, the staff is happy to cater to any requests and willing to help with general topics that come up during your stay. You can also use complimentary sunscreen at the check-in area. The only reason I'd knock it a star is that I think the staff could be more helpful when it comes to very basic questions about Tulum. For example, getting around the city via taxi requires some negotiation and predetermined knowledge about the way taxi drivers rip off tourists. There is also a colectivo available. However, when we inquired about this, the staff claimed ignorance and did not give us this information (kickbacks are common in Tulum...be ready to protect yourself against scams).

This resort was amazing! All of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The service for food and drinks was always quick and everything tasted amazing. I stayed here in November and would definitely stay here again on future trips to Tulum. The beach and lounge chairs/cabanas were perfect as well!!

Suenos Tulum is a tranquil, magical, oasis in Tulum beach. Once you enter the gate, you instantly relax. The staff, the property, the food, the service, the yoga, the beach cabanas, and the entire experience far exceeded expectations. I'm so happy we chose this amazing hotel for our vacation. You will not be disappointed. Ps Cecilio is spectacular!
