Run by the Ma family, this downtown staple turns classic Asian flavors into polished, Northwest-informed plates. The Daily Herald praised its pork belly and layered techniques; locals come for lively evenings and smart cocktails before arena shows.

Stellar Service and Delicious, Fresh Food in Everett We had a fantastic experience here! Our server was truly great—very attentive and professional without being overly chatty. The food was the star of the show. We started with appetizers, and it was immediately clear they were made by hand. The crab rangoons were distinctly fresh, not the pre-packaged kind, and the coconut shrimp was amazing. Seriously, the appetizers were a huge hit! For our main courses, we really enjoyed both dishes: the pineapple shrimp fried rice was flavorful and satisfying, and the Tangerine beef was perfectly executed—very crispy and well-done, with no tough chewiness. The only slight issue was with a drink. I ordered an Old Fashioned that the menu stated came with Luxardo cherries, but it arrived without them. As any Old Fashioned drinker knows, the cherry matters! If the restaurant had run out, the server should have let us know and apologized for the substitution. Why list Luxardo if you aren't using them? That said, I wouldn't let a missing cherry stop you from visiting! The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, quick service (even for a Saturday night), and seemed to draw a nice crowd of families and groups. This is an amazing restaurant, and if you're in Everett, you should absolutely try it.

I love this place!! The honey walnut shrimp is amazing. And the short ribs appetizer! They have delicious cocktails too.

Had heard about this place for years but hadn't gotten there until last night, Christmas Eve. Great service - attentive and friendly. Great food - nice sized portions, all VERY tasty! It's in a lovely old restored building and the restaurant has a good layout, even has a separate bar space with a couple of small tables and bar seating. Only 2 complaints: 1) I wish the lighting wasn't so bright; it would make it feel cozier and more intimate if they dimmer the lights a bit. 2) It was cold - i ate dinner with both a vest and jacket on. I know its an old building but.... Regardless we will be back!

We usually order out but we dine in on occasion. Gluten free options are outstanding. Food is always great. Our favorite is drunken chicken, honey sesame chicken, and the green beans. If you like it saucy request extra sauce.

Google
Great Asian fusion food. My favorite dishes are the hot and sour soup, the pot stickers, Heaven and Earth, and the honey chicken. Actually, everything I've tried here is delicious! Their staff is amazing, hard-working and helpful. They also have a very reasonable happy hour menu. Great spot!

Google
This is one of our absolute favorite places in Everett! We go often with family and friends, and it’s always consistently delicious with the best service. My go-to is the spicy tiger prawns (so good!) and Landon’s favorite is the Mongolian beef. Our whole family loves it here…great food, friendly staff, and a place we can always count on for a wonderful meal. Highly recommend!

David L.

Google
My favorite restaurant. We always get 4 things. The Mongolian beef is my top favorite. The green berms they serve with it are the best. You must also have the terra rice. It has shrimp, chicken and bbq pork in it and is always fantastic. The candied walnut shrimp are also a must and for desert their mini doughnuts with dipping sauce. So delicious. We always have it served family style and order off the dinner menu even if it is lunchtime so we have leftovers.

This was the best food I've had in years. I celebrated my 60th birthday there. They served us so well. It was my first time there. Some one suggested it to me. It is my favorite restaurant now. I also need to tell what they did for my precious friend from high school who has M.S.they moved a huge garbage bin and cars so those precious people has a smooth helpful transition into the restaurant. WONDERFUL times a million. Last time we went out to a popular Italian place in Everett they didn't even have a table for him. It really hurt. The staff and food at this restaurant are diamonds. Loved all the food we ate. Especially steamed dumplings. My favorite thing of all. All the food was perfectly prepared and lovely. Some dishes spicy, but not too spicy. Perfect. I highly suggest eating at this restaurant. Gosh, the only thing I'd like different would have been a round table. There were 14 of us and I'd like to have seen every one. It's small, I understand But I would have loved that.

Yelp
We went to Terracotta Red with friends who had just come back from vacation to catch up, and it was a great choice. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. The food was excellent...my spicy tiger prawns were full of flavor, and Landon really liked the Mongolian beef. The service was spot on and reminded us why we keep coming back. It's consistently delicious and always a good experience!

Yelp
This place has been on my to-go list for a while. Finally went here for Father's Day and we found street parking quite easily. We had a reservation and were sat immediately. We ordered the pork bao sliders, Mongolian beef, drunken chicken, pad see ew and garlic noodles. Pork bao sliders were good. Wish I had a tad bit more hoisin sauce on it. I share the same sentiment as others on here that the Mongolian beef was definitely on the sweeter side but it was still pretty good in its own right. I wouldn't consider it Mongolian beef though. Drunken chicken was good. Pad see ew was not what I would consider pad see ew either. It resembled chow funn, but less oily and more sweet. Definitely not your typical pad see ew you get from authentic Thai restaurants. Garlic noodles was good. The service was fast and we got our food fast. Portion sizes were pretty large. Overall the food had more of an American Chinese vibe.

Yelp
I'm not sure how to feel about this restaurant. The service was great, let's start there. We went on election evening and there was only one other table. The environment is unique. Like a vintage house living room.... But the ambiance does not match the menu at all. It's Asian food from all different countries. Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. I wouldn't call it fusion, just like a mashup idk. The noodles were bland, but the tofu dish I got was nice. It was just okay. It is also all for sharing, and then you order rice separately. Again, I just feel kinda meh about it all.

Yelp
Upscale nouveau cuisine. High end restaurant with generous portions, excellent choice of brewed teas and cocktails. Wonderful Hor'sd'ouevre and recommend sharing big portions. Large parties can be accommodating.

Yelp
This is the first time we have ever been here. I was a little worried about finding parking but it turned out ok. We found parallel parking across the street. It is on a busy four land road but a crosswalk is near by. The steps are narrow and tall walking up to the door. We were greeted by a friendly host but we felt the actual waitress to be short spoken, not patient, and a little pushy. A couple of us at our 10 seated table found themselves being rushed. Three us us didn't feel well after eating. Majority of the dishes were swimming in sauce including the yakisoba. You couldn't eat it with chopsticks if you wanted to it just slimed off the sticks. It was very light in protein and taste like fish more than the chicken its named after. The table water was luke warm and no ice in the glasses, maybe thats a thing but for me i prefer ice.

Yelp
The food is beyond amazing and flavorful! Ashlee was super attentive and so nice! Very personable and friendly! Definitely will be returning!!!

Yelp
We ordered the chow mein and the empire dishes. The chow mein vegetables were delicious, but the noodles were very thin my husband had the empire noodles and they tasted flavorful as well. Both delicious dishes!

Yelp
Clean place, good food. Our server was obviously sick which I didn't appreciate. I got the jerk chicken and I wanted it with fried rice but that's not allowed unless you order the whole fried rice meal.

Yelp
We moved from Seattle to Lake Stevens and this is definitely a fav for our family! Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Terracotta Red is perfect for hosting large groups. My bi-ad partner needed a restaurant in Everett to accommodate a party of 12 at the last minute. The service was really good, and there was a lot of food offered for a small dinner party. The food served was preselected by the host, and most attendees enjoyed everything; the salad and garlic noodles were good. If you're seeking a place in Everett to host a small party at the last moment Terracotta Red will be a great option.

Sophie H.

Yelp
Service was horrible! My son and his date for homecoming arrived 5 minutes early to their reservation. As soon as they sat down they were rushed into ordering their food. 10 minutes after their food arrived the waitress came over and asked if that would be all and handed them the bill. They left by 7:10pm due to not feeling welcomed and like they were in a hurry to get them out. We will no longer be coming here.

Yelp
Made reservations for a Friday night and were very kindIy received by the hostess even when we showed up a few minutes late. It has been years since I first came here, so we decided to come again to try out the new menu. We were a group of four, so we decided to get four dishes and share them family style. My favorite dish was the mongolian beef. The slightly sweet flavor was a great compliment to the green onions. The drunken chicken and chow mein were also very flavorful and delicious. The portions are much larger than you would expect so beware as we had lots of leftovers to take home. The service was fantastic. The server made sure we were well taken care of.

Sherry S.

Yelp
Horrible service - don't go before an event!! Waitress was rushed, didn't bring our food at the same time - we ate in shifts. One diish never came at all. No comps or concessions - just a very lame "I'm sorry". Food quality was very average. Felt very disorganized as we watched every table get their food at different times.

Yelp
I don't know what has happened to this restaurant. I was here a few years ago for my older daughter's graduation dinner and the food was amazing.. Used to come here on a once a month basis.. this evening I had the most unpalatable meal I have had in YEARS. I do not like leaving unfavorable reviews... but we were there with a large group and all agreed after it was an awful dining experience. I didn't realize how badly you could make beef and broccoli taste or that sweet n sour chicken was now tangy chicken. I get the fusion part but this was just awful everything from the appetizers to the desert. Please whatever you did? Change it back to the place whose amazing meals I used to brag about and look forward to.. not anymore

Yelp
We had an early dinner at Terracotta Red yesterday. I was so looking forward to the Shanghai Noodle dish. It was my favorite and its been a while. WOW has that dish changed and not for the better. It used to have some delicious good size praews and generous pieces of duck and a rich, umami full sauce. No sign of duck at all in the dish. The prawns are now just a very few little tiny bay shrimp. The sauce was wimpy. The actual noodles were cooked perfectly. The ambiance was pleasant and I am sure all us long, long term customers like the fact that the dining room no long smells like an an old mold/mildew building. Service was perefect - just right

Yelp
Fantastic 5 star food--BUT solo diners be prepared to be neglected. I keep visiting here, but only the people in parties of 2+ get real attention. I waited to have my order taken while there were only two other parties in the restaurant. One was paying, one was enjoying their food. I don't understand why there isn't more attention paid to a paying customer who really wants to order food, DESPITE dining alone. I ordered a cocktail, I'm not cheap. But twice I considered getting up to go find someone to help me. Not cool.

Yelp
Hostess was kind and accommodating when I didn't want to be seated next to two chatty Kathy's. Found me a quiet corner in the bar. My server, Ashley, was amazing she asked if it was my first time in and promptly offered great recommendations and a little history on restaurant. She checked in often and offered alternative to the one dish of the night I wasn't head over heels for! I started with the Crimson Crush martini; grapefruit forward and perfect to pair with the Lettuce Wrap appetizer. Wedge was fresh and crisp and seasoning on meat was perfect. Don't forget to ask for spice! I ordered a lunch special which comes with a main dish (lots of tasty options), rice (brown or white), and either soup of the day or salad. I chose the Tangerine Beef; slightly crisped with a citrus sticky sauce and scallions, brown rice, and the chicken coconut soup. The beef was amazing, hot off the wok (blow on it!) and the rice was perfectly cooked. The soup had great attributes and I would recommend, for me it was a bit too sweet to eat much of but flavors were great. I also ordered the Emerald Fire Noodles (Beef).....THIS! It is my new favorite noodle dish ! I'm so happy I ordered too much food and will get to eat all of this tomorrow for lunch (or maybe dinner tonight ). I'll share pictures next time, I just dove in and didn't think twice about it

Yelp
The food is amazing, walnut prawns and green beans are fantastic ------------------------------------------
google avatar

Gregory W.

Yelp
The potstickers were limp, very cold and old. Kitchen staff had a 2nd try with the potsticker and they were hot but still had no crispiness to them and were steamed and limp. Yes, the other food items were better Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Stir Fry Dish. The service was quick and friendly. However, the dinner experience was nothing to write home about.
google avatar

Dean P.

Yelp
The drunken chicken and honey walnut prawns are two of our favorites. We've been going here for years.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner last night. Really high quality Asian food, with tasty drinks and good service. The Mongolian beef is really, really good, as were the shrimp rangoons. They have specials, including cocktail specials. The hazelnut old fashioned had just enough hazelnut where it wasn't overpowering. Appreciate that when you want to take leftovers home, they package it up nicely for you as if it is takeout. We will start coming here for takeout Asian/Chinese food.
google avatar

Patrick B.

Yelp
Some of the best Asian food I have had in Washington state. They had the flavors down. They had great service even though we can in a half hour before closing. The place was simple inside. Nothing fancy but the food was over the top good. We had sezchaun beef and kung pao chicken plus we had some fried rice. I definitely recommend this place

Jarmila N.

Yelp
Tasty food including our vegetarian spring rolls. Portions were generous and are served family style. They have some different options which was nice. You can only eat so much Phad Thai ( it is still on the menu for fans) It was a great place to go after a show.
google avatar

Karri F.

Yelp
Great quality food, been coming for 15yrs and I've only had one time the food wasn't up to par. I mentioned it to the owner the food's always been great! Non GMO, Gluten free, the food is not all coated in breading, which I LOVE!!
google avatar

J K.

Yelp
Quirky/cute building, friendly staff, and out of this world food. Try Heaven and Earth. Do not skip the bread pudding for dessert. Amazing!
google avatar

Shelby H.

Yelp
Unfortunately have to downgrade my review after eating here again with a disappointing experience. Food has really gone downhill, becoming bland with tough meat
google avatar

Bill G.

Yelp
It's a simple looking place nothing flashy inside but food is the star here. Service was quick and never seemed to wait for anything. Throughout the years we've been going here haven't found a clunker yet. Just go and try once !

MrEric C.

Yelp
My wife and I have been coming here for over 10 years and in the beginning it was a can't miss dining experience. The last few occasions have been hit or miss, some dishes shine, while others subpar. Last nights dinner was more of the same, we both ordered different prawn dishes, hers came out perfect while mine were overcooked and tough. The bok choy while tasty needed a knife we didn't have. We have always made room for the Chinese donuts dessert and I mentioned to our waitress as much. We waited and waited, until we thought they missed our order when she came to the table with these way overcooked blobs of dough covered in sugar. We looked at each other with a wtf are these? They were not Chinese donuts, I even pulled up a picture of what they're supposed to like and her reply was "that's the way they've always been" excuse me NO. Pretty sure we won't be going back and that's sad.
google avatar

Dani A.

Yelp
I was driving through from Vancouver to Seattle and wanted a quick bite to eat. This was the perfect stop! I had the red curry which was yummy. I was a bit cold and it warmed me right up. My waitress Ayriel was so sweet & attentive! Thank you!
google avatar

Nausheen D.

Yelp
Loved the food - we were looking for a good Chinese place in the area and this is it! The food is great, the location is perfect and the restaurant looks pretty fancy! We ordered drunken chicken and asked them to make it a but spicy and bam it was the perfect sweet and spicy flavour!! Also ordered Emerald fire noodles and it was decent - although it had a gingery kick to it that I wasn't a big fan of but my husband loved it. Also the best item on the menu for me was their Green Beans it is a side dish but boy I could eat it as an entire meal!!
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Food was average, price was higher than I expected. Service was good but it didn't make up for the food or price.

Lily M.

Yelp
first of all flys all over the restaurant. second we get seated by a incredibly rude waitress, with a very annoying voice. We specifically asked for no tofu bc my aunt is highly allergic to it. Also tasted like a can of bounce that ass. we were served it anyway, and she walked away laughing. luckily my mom is a nurse and she was able to stick the very long fork down her throat to save her life. Every time we asked for something she gave us a dirty look. Here's some pics of the food.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Overall the food was on point and great service. The Kalbi ribs were amazing in flavor and texture and the pad thai was also very delicious too as well as the 5 spice soup you had available for the soup of the day, nice pieces of brisket with other vegetables to accompany the soup. One thing that really stood out with this place was the atmosphere and overall service from the waitress very upbeat and friendly and kept coming over asking how we were doing my brother and I as well as asking how we like the food. If you're looking for a place to eat, this is the place.

Jessica R.

Yelp
The consistency of the customer service and food quality always keeps me coming back! On our recent visit, I tried the Mongolian beef for the first time and woah, it was delicious! We love the garlic noodles and drunken chicken.

Staci G.

Yelp
Service was 5 star and the food was delicious! Carri was the best server and bartender! Highly recommend
google avatar

Bailey R.

Yelp
This spot is bigger on the inside, than it looks! Great, open but intimate atmosphere. The food is beyond fresh and quality. Friendly and attentive service. This is a great spot in the Delta area. Food is always good if delivered on DoorDash, too!
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Still a favorite but very disappointed in my last visit. 7pm on a Sunday perhaps not the best time but they advertise as being open till 9pm. Staff was already cleaning up for the evening and felt a bit out of sorts with having to serve us. Got the coconut soup and it was over salted. Mongolian Beef had no heat and was very sweet. No chili's at all and it's supposed to be a spicy dish. The lamb was tender but had so much cumin and other spices on it that it was not very appetizing. This is the second time in the last few months that the flavors/quality was below their usual standard.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
The place is decent, and my friend really enjoyed the food. I thought it was mediocre for the price (everything is huge portions FYI) and wasn't a huge fan of the ambiance personally. However, it seemed like a lot of people enjoyed this place and the food when I was there.
google avatar

Dorene P.

Yelp
First time here and will return! The food was really good--surprised that the taste/flavors/texture spot on and so beautifully prepared. The waitress was efficient and worked diligently .. a bit rushed, and was able to see the chef in action--he was calm and mindful in his movements (felt his zen) while preparing/cooking--nice balance! I loved the crunch/freshness in their use of greens--the tofu dish; and the sauce in the red curry chicken dish along with the nice texture of the brown rice; lovely combo for lunch.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Food was great! Wings were nice and crispy, all food was served very hot and delicious! Service was also stellar. No complaints here!
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
We recently went here with a party of 6 and had a table right next to the kitchen. The food and the service were amazing! The dishes are served family style and full of flavor and visually appealing. We all had drinks from their drink menu, and they were equally delicious, although a bit on the strong side. I was too busy taking it all in and enjoying for flavors that I forgot to take pictures, but I guarantee if you go here that you will love it!
google avatar

Nisi N.

Yelp
I was so excited to go cause I read they are gluten free carful My son just got diagnosed with celiac disease so NO gluten So I'm trying to find safe places for him to eat!!! So I went years ago and did t enjoy the vegetarian food but decided for my son health to get again And I have to say the people were nice but the food just is not good. We got the chicken wings and I was surprised NO sauce on it and don't have enough flavor I got the tofu veggie dish called Buddha feast I think and it had only three pieces of tofu and lots of spinach not worth the money!!! The dish was also so so bland and the sauce had no flavor odd . My husband meat dish he liked and so did my son.
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
The red was a few of us that went here as a group. Service was pretty quick and the food was delicious. Definitely a place I would frequent. Give them a shot.
google avatar

Angelica K.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place as my husband has been a few times. I will say I'm not a fan. Aside from it being a meat heavy menu (even traditional Chinese restaurants will have various veggie dishes) it's very heavy on the oil. For me personally it was a little inedible as the tofu felt soaked in oil. The dish I got was also very heavy with Chinese five spice. Which I generally like but it was all I could taste. We came here for a date night, ordered drinks and an app. They came out quickly. With no less then about 2 minutes later our dishes arrive. Which speedy service can be awesome but it felt like we weren't able to enjoy our drinks or even our appetizers first. Definitely rushed, i understand it's a weekend and you have to flip tables but we were there less than an hour. So we ended up leaving and finishing our date night else where. Staff was amazing though can't complain about them.

Marie J H.

Yelp
If I could give this zero stars I would . Rude beyond words waitress with glasses , martini tasted like rubbing alcohol , fruit flies EVERYWHERE , over priced food was mediocre at best , only patrons in resteraunt should have been a red flag and was not given what I ordered and waitress did not seem to care . Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE !

Kathleen O.

Yelp
Service is awesome. I went on the great reviews, unfortunately I didn't care for the extra breading on the chicken. They are a bit expensive for what they offer. Great drinks, atmosphere is comfy.
google avatar

Micah B.

Yelp
It's been a while since I updated the review, and since my previous visits. I was a regular here for about 10 years, but the chefs had changed, and so did the recipes. Had I updated my review then, it would've been down to probably 2 stars because it no longer worked for me and was a stark contrast from my previously-glowing review. Significant waitstaff turnover left people who were novice/junior, the food itself didn't really have the same flavor profile as it did in the first decade, so I didn't really care to go back; they could've been (and were) better. A friend of mine and I decided to give it a shot again. Apparently some of the former chefs have come back so the recipes have *almost* returned to their previous state, which was a relief. I constantly ask for 5 stars but the net seems to only be about 3 or so. They can spice up the green beans but seem to fail with the chicken. Which is quite peculiar to me. The prices have certainly increased as well, and unfortunately the portions have shrunk. The place is loud, not a lot of sound dampening so I try to sit in the bar/lounge area; even still there just isn't enough treatment so it gets increasingly louder and louder and it's hard to hold a conversation with someone directly across from me. It won't be on my regular rotation as much as it used to be but the food has returned to a much better state since. Might consider just getting this to go in the future even though it's a bit of a drive from home.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
Really great food. Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Rice were on point. My only complaint is how loud this place is. The owner should do something about noise control, sound suppression. It is painfully loud.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
Super disappointed. We left. 5pm- not busy. Our waitress brought our drinks and we were sitting there with the menus closed hoping she would notice that we were ready to order (she was walking by a couple times). Another waiter was regularly checking on his tables. People were sat next to us and she got their drink orders and dropped off their drinks and she came back to us a few minutes after to finally take our order. I informed her that we wanted our check for our drinks because we were waiting too long, she argued back and I told her to just bring the check; which she did apologize at that point.
