Egg Midtown – Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I came in on Sept 6 around 1:35 PM, which was pretty close to their 2 PM closing time — but it never felt rushed. I don’t recommend going that close to closing, but it really showed the quality of their service, especially Jason at the bar. He was professional, welcoming, and helped me choose a drink that hit perfectly. What I Ordered: • Half French Toast Cornbread • Eggs, Bacon, Toast & Potatoes • Mimosa (10/10, forget the flavor but it was perfect) Taste: Everything tasted exactly how it should — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The mimosa was the highlight. Bill: My total was $51.81 including tip for the great service. Overall: Cozy atmosphere, great food, and service that doesn’t slack even right before closing. Jason made me feel right at home in a professional way. I left happy and I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent! The best thing we ordered was, hands down, the cornbread and gravy. The mix of the sweet cornbread and the savory mushroom gravy was perfect, and I've had hundreds of Bs & Gs, so I speak with authority. All of the drinks were amazing: the alcoholic and virgin drinks alike. The French toast was also exceptional. I'm usually strictly a syrup person, but their compote was so good I preferred it, as did my daughter (who ordered it). There were some lowlights. The Chakchouka was the biggest disappointment because nothing mentioned that it's incredibly spicy. Not "Thai hot" spicy, but I love Cholula on my eggs in the morning, and this was several notches beyond that. However, the taste was great, so if you can handle heat in the morning that makes your nose run, you'll love it. The smoked pork belly was just kind of flavorless; not bad, just underwhelming. We will definitely come back! I need more of that cornbread and gravy in my life, and the are so many other great things to try!

JASON WAS AWESOME! Hands down a great servers and the reason why I can easily rate service a 5/5, he went above and beyond. The barbacoa in the grits was so flavorful. The grits were sweet which I wasn’t the biggest fan of, but the mix of sweet and savory went well together. Will definitely be here again.

Quick and easy to order, friendly staff. Ordered the pork belly eggs Benedict. Really bummed unfortunately. The potatoes are so overcooked I thought I cracked my tooth, they look freeze dried, very off putting. The corn bread is very dry and grainy. Only item cooked well was the eggs. This was my first time trying pork belly so I have no frame for reference, but it was very chewy in the middle and hard and charred along the edges. Overall 2/5

I wish that you could smell the Shakshouka through my phone. It was incredible. I normally am a gal that chooses the meat option. But my server, Jason, suggested the veggie option and he was not wrong. Every bite was incredible and filled with so many vibrant flavors. I ordered sausage on the side and ate it with it. I highly recommend. He brought me a side of cornbread and it was perfectly sweet not overly. For my iced caramel latte he didn’t put too much oat milk and left the sugar on the side for me to do myself which I greatly appreciated because I prefer my coffee to taste like coffee. Service was amazing. The place is so cute and clean. Overall I highly recommend it. The only complaint if I had one would be the prices have increased since the last time I was there. Which in the current economical climate you can’t blame them. Just unfortunate that this is a place I can’t afford regularly.

Good service and great food. Came here for brunch with a group of 9 on a Saturday, and they were able to accommodate us. Food was delicious, and their portion sizes were great. Recommend getting the eggs Benedict with pork belly!
