"Mike's Coney & Pita, Eastern Market. Small diner for American and Middle Eastern classics. Coney dogs are the out the door special, they also make a great falafel wrap. It's called Mike's because he's there everyday doing it! They close around 2pm."

I like Mikes. Hard working staff, opens promptly at 6am. Hardscrabble Detroit, the real deal, get him started on politics as he prepares your meal. You will leave a more enlightened person.

Regularly visit this place for breakfast. Best prices, large food portions, and excellent good. Omelettes are made with real eggs no milk added to stretch the eggs. Hash browns a from actual fresh potatoes, hand cut; not from a frozen bag. The service is excellent as well. Love this place. Definitely visit. Located in the Eastern Market

Great! We were at the Tuesday Market after lunch time, Mike was getting the cooking area cleaned up after the lunch rush; he answered some of our questions, allowed us substitutions for a fair price and served us a great lunch at a decent price. Wife's Greek w/ Chicken salad filled her up, my Reuben sandwich & fries did the same! Great little diner, friendly service, decent prices; couldn't ask for more!

This establishment had absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! There was a hair found in my food. I was told "it happens" come back tomorrow when I called to report it. I go back the next day and was told "I'm sure there was nothing wrong with your food and I'm not giving you any money back by the woman who works there. I told her there was hair in it. She says we are all always wrapped up....I pointed to the COOK who had no hairnet on his head. She rolled her eyes. Extremely rude! I was flabbergasted at how poorly she reacted to my complaint. If I could rate this place a ZERO I would.

Went in for a Greek Salad w/ Chicken and it was a great. The chicken was marinated well. This is coming from someone who cooks a lot! Service was friendly and fast. First time eating there and will be a repeat customer.

Ain't nothing like an old school coney island with some great food. Mike knows exactly what he's doing!

Actually I would have given this place about 2.5 stars. The food was very good and very large servings. Price wise it's about average with any other coney. But, the service is lacking. The staff is not very welcoming, and the restaurant itelf is very small and crowded.

Tucked into Detroit's center for fresh produce, meat and seafood is this tiny greasy spoon serving frozen burgers, frozen chicken, frozen fries and frozen rings. It's as bad as it sounds. Go somewhere else.
