America's Biggest Farmers Markets Are Must-Visits

Held every Sunday from April to December, this producer-only market requires that all goods be made or grown by its roughly 200 participating vendors, offering just-harvested produce, cheese, meat, herbs, baked goods, artisanal foods, and local arts and crafts. Themed weekends like Strawberry Festival and Oktoberfest bring big crowds and live bluegrass, and the market’s family-friendly vibe draws about 6,000 weekly visitors. Don’t miss smoked barbecue sliders from local pitmasters and sweet fried pies from regional bakers. - Veronica Stoddart

So Much Fun — A Must-Visit Market! I had an amazing time here! From the food to the unique selections brought by vendors, everything was fantastic. What stood out the most were all the flower vendors — I wish I could have taken all the beautiful flowers and plants home, but I had flown in. The market has so much to offer: farm-fresh eggs, raw milk, meats, sausages, and a wide variety of foods. I also loved all the fire glass, homemade goodies, and handmade purses. Pro tip: come with money because you will definitely walk out with way more than you planned! This market is a true gem for anyone who loves fresh, local, and unique finds.

Visited this market today and coincidentally the Oktoberfest was also happening at the same time and it was a pleasant experience! Lots of good food , beer , and all sorts of different crafts and local vendors to explore! Good experience! My wife and I ate and drank and walked the entire market and bought a few items that appealed to us ! Definitely worth checking out to enjoy the experience! Would recommend to locals and travelers like myself!

A variety of things to explore, from flowers to fresh produce and homemade lotions and oils. Easy access for strollers or wheelchairs, it's crowded but aisles are wide enough to get around. After you're done shopping you can grab a bite at one of the many food trucks on-site. This market is not open during the winter.

This market is so cool! I was so excited to visit here and yes it was busy but so worth it. There was fresh fruit & vegetables, honey, and a ton of vendors from pickle makers, tomato sauces, jewelry and clothing, metal art and so much more Even though I gotta travel from Huntsville - I will make my way for this market from time to time! Tons of food markets and just a fun family day out! Parking is nearby and there is a fee, you’ll need to download the parking app but there was street parking too but a fee as well.

Many vendors are on site, from fresh produce to handmade crafts, so there’s plenty to see and shop. Parking is $2 an hour, and I easily found a spot.
