Saint Blaise

There are not many choices in Midland/Odessa for nice dining especially when looking for a place to take a customer or work colleagues. I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!

From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The oysters are insanely good. The French onion soup was even a better touch and both steaks that we are having are truly epic. I personally want to thank Raymundo and Karina For their exceptional service and their lovely attitude. This has been an absolutely wonderful evening.

Great food and nice decor! Just one feedback: The kitchen was abit noisy but other than that everything was perfect and there are plenty of street parking

Food: The entree and dessert was delicious and will boost taste buds. Staff: friendly and best customer service Ive seen in Midland as for a restaurant. Environment: Clean and neat. Will definitely return to this place of business, kudos to the staff and my compliments to the kitchen staff 🤟🏼.

Had such a lovely time at Saint Blaise, totally worth the wait. Our server was the sweetest, the tomato soup was top tier, perfect for the cold weather that’s approaching!! The food is very fair priced and every bite was delicious! i also had the pistachio martini, they even added a shot of espresso to mine since i couldn’t choose between the pistachio or espresso martini, they said why not both! I will say best martini i’ve ever had, i raved about it for days! The atmosphere, food and crew simply just 10/10. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!!

We had an incredible dinner at Saint Blaise this past Friday night. We made a reservation and were seated immediately—no wait at all, which was a great start. Our waiter, Andy, was phenomenal. His service was attentive, friendly, and truly elevated our entire experience. We started with the French onion dip and homemade chips—absolutely to die for! The chips were fresh, crispy, and addictive. I had the Salisbury steak, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. My husband had the gnocchi, which was soft, rich, and full of a punch of flavor. Every dish hit the mark. The drinks were crafted with care and tasted just as amazing as they looked. You could tell a lot of love went into them. Andy didn’t just stop at great service—he gave us top-tier recommendations for post-dinner drinks, which rounded out our evening perfectly. Andy is a huge asset to the Saint Blaise team. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this spot to friends and family. A truly memorable date night!

The food was delicious! The Lobster Roll and Fries had great flavor! This was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and it was not heavy. The restaurant was clean and the staff were great. I will definitely be returning!

We were so excited to try Saint Blaise again! We went back in March and didn’t have a good experience with the hostess and our reservation but I really wanted to try it again. We had reservations and were sat down as soon as we got there. Ryah greeted us with a smile and she was so nice from the moment we walked in until we left! She sat us down and was our waitress! She was so cute and friendly! We loved her! We started off with drinks! I ordered the 1934 cosmopolitan! Loved it. And my friends ordered the salted caramel espresso martini! That was also soooo good! For appetizers we ordered pigs in blankets, beer cheese fondue, and bistro meatballs! For mains we ordered the steak gnocchi, Salisbury steak, and the blackened Salmon. For dessert we got the bread pudding and the apple fritters. Wowwwww! Loved everything. There wasn’t an appetizer, plate or dessert that we regretted! Everything was really really good! I can’t wait to try the brunch next!!!!!

Dinner | $30-50 I went in and immediately was greeted at the front by "Aaliyah" She was super bubbly and inviting. We sat inside and it was nice, cool, and lively. Our server Aubrianna greeted us instantly. She gave us amazing drink and starter recommendations. I got the same place and let me tell you, BEST drink I've ever had. Fresh cucumber juice mixed with Aloe Vera Liquor creates heaven in a drink. I should've taken a picture of my entree, the smash burger. It was the tastiest and juiciest burger I've had in midland in a while! I was told to come back and try it BLAISE STYLE next time which includes a grilled jalapeño and bacon with veggies. Dessert was fabulous with the Apple Fritters and Dulce Sauce. Experience was a 100/10 and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!

Sunday brunch was perfect! My husband and I split the Cowboy Quiche and the French toast. The quiche was so delicious and topped with the BEST white gravy and sausage! The French toast was made from bread pudding and had a hint of cinnamon. Oh my gosh, you have to try it! We decided to split both the sweet and the savory dishes, we both agreed it was perfect! Our waitress was so helpful and even split our dishes onto different plates before they came out. Everything was clean and the service exceeded our expectations.

Excellent doesn't give a high enough praise for this eclectic, modern, uptown vibe with great food and drinks! I will be back and telling all my friends.

Bring a playful attitude and good company. Let Josh make the drinks, the kitchen will supply sumptuous eats and enjoy a wonderful spot. Our favorites are the oysters (flown in fresh), lobster rolls and the newly created Scott's Paloma !

This place is very nice. You can make reservations or walk in. The food was delicious..

Saint Blaise makes fantastic veggie omelets. I had mine with toasted sourdough bread as well; it was a delicious meal in a great atmosphere. The service was polite and heartfelt. I will definitely be back.

Wow! My husband and I finally got a chance to check out Saint Blaise and all I can say is wow! Food was delicious, service was great, and atmosphere was cozy with modern downtown vibe. We got the beer cheese fondue and the owner Blaise recommended the pigs in a blanket as another dip option for the cheese and it was perfect! We also enjoyed the smashed burger, a delicious American classic, and the meatball sub that was so flavorful! We finished our meal sharing the bread pudding. Blaise hit it out of the park again with another recommendation and suggested to pair the dessert with their Saintini with espresso and it was absolutely yummy! The bread pudding was not overly sweet and complimented well with the Saintini, that gave a cafecito y postre (coffee & dessert) vibe. Definitely coming back again! Don't be intimidated by the small space because everything else makes this place worth it! **I forgot to take pics of everything else but the dessert and Saintini looked too good not to snap a quick shot!

Our overall experience today at Saint Blaise was truly remarkable. We will definitely be revisiting as the food, attentive service, delightful drinks, and ambiance speak for themselves when you order and dine in. The portions were great for the price and we enjoyed our time thoroughly. The only issue was the music was quite loud during our brunch.

I've stop by to grab coffee to go and I've stoped in for bites and cocktails and closed it down and never left disappointed. The menu is unique and eclectic bringing new spins on classic favorites. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's a cozy little space on the first floor of the Frost Bank Building downtown. It was harder for us to find it not knowing this information! Everything was wonderful and I highly recommend for dinner. We had dinner, have not tried the lunch nor the brunch! Food was delicious!

Atmosphere was great, service was great, server was very knowledgeable and told me all about the food and drink selections and made many recommendations. Food was great and oysters were flown in fresh from Maine that day! Was a little pricey but over all would love to go back.

Saint Blaise is exactly what Midland needed! Everything was so delicious -- I especially loved the desserts! Definitely check this place out if you enjoy amazing food and a sweet atmosphere!

The vibe is pretty cool!! The service was horrible the food was horrible. We went on Sunday for brunch and the eggs and sausages were over cooked and the hash browns were frozen. Too pricey for crappy food.

Obsessed! Saint Blaise is 10/10. The oysters were delicious. Ive had breakfast lunch and dinner and I've left a happy gal everytime! The service was excellent and drinks were dangerously good. The lighting is relaxing, calming yet still upbeat. Plus the music is always a vibe!! It's perfect for date night or a girls brunch!!

Inside lobby of Frost Bank Building. Casual retro hipster vibe, with full bar serving cocktails. Veggie omelette was excellent with avocado slices. Old original downtown Midland needs more places like this!

Service was amazing! I have tried this establishment morning, lunch and dinner. Staff were so accommodating and friendly at all times. I will be a returning customer. Just a different vibe for Midland, can't wait to see what they do next!

Oysters were excellent! Lobster Benny had nice big hunks of lobster meat, it was very tasty! Andy did a great job as our server!

Great ambiance and food! Service is always great with friendly staff. My go-to app to order is always the French onion dip along with the Pigs in a Blanket. I love the French onion soup as well. For dinner, Gnocchi a la vodka is a must, Chicken Shnitzel is always a favorite and the lobster roll.

This is the perfect spot for a date night. We've gone several times and have yet to be disappointed. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We had to ribeye and mashed potatoes which was amazing. I also had the pot pie, which was very good and filling. Can't wait to go back. It gets pretty busy so I'd recommend a reservation.

I have to say I was excited to try this place with my family having others tell me how good it was. First of all I don't think there should be any seating by the hostess stand. I understand this is to add more "space" but it was just awkward. Secondly, the service was not great. I felt we were forgotten about and our server was nowhere to be found. Lastly, everything took forever to come out and we didn't get everything we ordered. Definitely will not be returning to this place.

Excellent customer service. Delicious food & perfect cocktails. The restaurant is gorgeous and the music is always good. Would go back for any occasion. My favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel and the Same Place cocktail!

Very poor organization. I made a reservation five days in advance. When we arrived, they made us wait 30 minutes for tables to become available, and then they seated us at separate tables. The reservation required a deposit, and even with that they did not meet basic standards. What's the point of making a reservation? Extremely disrespectful.

Food was good, wait staff was friendly and attentive. However, it took about 40 minutes to get cocktail order. Made the experience mediocre overall, and we did not dare order a second drink for fear of the wait.
