I stumbled upon this amazing Italian restaurant while exploring Pompano Beach! It had an incredible menu, and my friends (six of us) had a blast sharing it. We started with a huge Hawaiian pizza (white), and then we took turns sharing the entrees. The food was so delicious and filling, and the portions were generous. To make sure we had a great time, I suggest sharing or being ready to take home leftovers. The service was top-notch, with no waiting times, friendly waitstaff, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for a group meal.

Wow, just wow. We live 2 hours north of this restaurant but it is definitely worth the drive every single time. Absolutely delicious! 100/10 recommend!

We have a blast in this restaurant. It’s feels like a family place, not big, not small, delicious food. Perfect for all family. We’ve been leaving in Pompano for around 3 year and never have the opportunity to this restaurant til yesterday, that we finally decide to try Italian food. The environment it’s nice and comfy. The service of everyone over there is really nice. The food and dessert makes you feel like home made from grandma. We got a really nice Chianti wine to get with our food. Our kiddo was fascinated with the ravioli and trust me he’s lkind of picky with food. We was thinking on something but then the server offer the special of the day and we change our minds. We took osobuco with minestrone and lasagna. It was really well served and delicious. For dessert we had chocolate cake, really nice and soft. We definitely recommend and we’ll be back.

Great Italian food at reasonable prices. This is a family owned/ operated restaurant that makes a lot of their food. The staff is friendly and attentive providing good service. We are glad to find this place and will be back.

The restaurant was recommended by a neighbor of mine. It felt family-owned. The staff here look like they enjoy their job. There is a fun, playful atmosphere with them. They are great. They are what made my experience extra. I liked the food. The meatballs are great. The Garlic bread was yummy. The Chicken Parm was delish. I loved the Wedding Soup. The food was great. It is a busy place. It is worth the wait. The crowd is mostly local. Everyone speaks highly of the food. I was glad I tried the place out.

I would give a zero rating if possible. I have eaten at Zucarelli’s for years, going back to the 1980’s in Margate. With that being said, I will not ever go back. I tried to order for pickup and their menus online are blurry or don’t give accurate menu items, they list only 2 items per section. I asked the woman on the phone if she could just tell me what her appetizers were because I just wanted to order a few appetizers. She said she was too busy to go over the entire menu with me. I stated again I just wanted to have the appetizers read, she said she was too busy to do that, so I hung up. What kind of business puts crappy menus online and then won’t even give me the menu items over the phone? This is what Customer Service has turned into. My hope is that the owner will read this review and maybe have a talk with the people who answer his phones, I know losing one customer is not going to break a business, nor is that what I want to happen, but again, I have been going to this place since the 1980s and to be treated like that, just shows the sign of the times. Thankful there are other Italian restaurants that are just as good and I will give them my business.

Went to Zuccarelli's after a long day out on the boat. Service was familial and very friendly from start to end. The plaza is currently under construction and so parking is a little limited although we were able to get spots with no problem. We shared some warm garlic rolls (complimentary), ceasar salad, spinach ravioli, and a small white hawaiian pizza. This was plenty of food for 2 people and we had leftovers! The pizza was very good! I appreciated the no sauce version of this classic pizza paired with ricotta cheese. Delicious! The spinach ravioli was just ok - the sauce was too thick for my taste and could've been thinned a little to make the dish less heavy. It was also supposed to be topped with gorgonzola but I didn't get any gorgonzola flavor from the dish. Overall, a good spot for garlic rolls and pizza! Yum!

Went there for lunch today with my husband and had a very nice lunch.We always had great service and always had great food.My husband had chicken parm with spaghetti and I had penne ala vodka , which was delicious!!! And forget about their garlic rolls, oh my God so delicious.And we even took half home of everything and had for dinner!!!

We absolutely love Zuccarelli. I've been going here for years and they have never disappointed. The pizza, calzones, and chicken parm are some of the best I've had. The service is great and it has a small family owned hole in the wall feeling. Love it here!

Food came out cold. Not warm but cold. 90% of our group was sick all night after so not saying it's the food, but it's the food. Two stars for service because our server really was wonderful and it wasn't her fault. We walked in 6 adults and 6 kids and they sat us and served us at a busy dinner time. Great ambience and service was impeccable but I'm horrified after the night we all had.

A nice local spot. The staff was phenomenal. I felt welcome here. They go over and beyond to give good service. They checked on us constantly. The feeling was nice. It is a small restaurant that gets crazy busy. They do have a good flow going. The waiting is worth it because the food is good. Those homemade garlic rolls are a must try. Waiting for the a table. I got to talk to some of the people Waiting. I must say. The restaurant has loyal customers. These people have been coming here for a ling time. It made me feel good to be here. I liked everything I had. The Veal Parmesan was good. I liked the Meatballs, the soup, The red sause was good. I liked everything I tried. The portions were a good size. I was happy with the meal.

A great small local Italian restaurant with a fun atmosphere. We had a great server who was funny, hard working and very attentive. The food was fantastic and the portions were healthy, we will definitely be back!!

We ordered pizza, soup, and salad to go. It's our favorite place to order take out. For our family of 4 adults and 1 toddler we ordered one extra large meat lovers pizza. It was just the right amount. Our family isn't a big fan of Italian sausage, so we subbed it out for mushrooms which was so so good. 1 large tossed salad with house dressing is enough for our family to share. If you order individual small salads, there aren't as many types of toppings as you get with the large. We got a large Pasta Fajole soup and it was enough for 2 adults.

Food at zuccarelli is always great , My favorites are the snapper francese, zuppa the pesce, the zuppa the clams, Stromboli all of their dishes comes with salad or soup which makes it kind of difficult to choose since they have the wedding soup I always fall for it , is delicious , Not to mention their garlic rolls and the lemoncello cake for dessert is service is great and efficient. Lunch prices are unbelievable. Family ambience restaurant and it has plenty of parking.

Love their service! We usually order takeout. I feel like I know everyone, especially, Joe! We like the pizza a lot! My husband like plain cheese. I LOVE pepperoni m, mushrooms & light on the sweet peppers OR veggie MINUS egg plant! The ravioli in pink sauce, chicken parm and angel hair pasta w marinara & a meatball ( Kids size). Zuccarellis does it again! Great food and excellent service. Yes, they get busy, but why are they busy??? Things that make you hmmm...or yummm?? Have patience people. Calm down and slow down naysayers. These folks are great and giving all they got. Love the service and the food. Good product and production. Highly recommend.

A local amongst may Italian food restaurants in the area, this East location was noticably 90% capacity between seated and pick up business. I am not a seasoned Italian food eater, but I know quality ingredients, preparation, and service. I wanted to go to just my second Italian food restaurant that severs more than just pizza. Oddly enough, I ordered a calzone, which is not too far from that. I was made in an apprent rush because the chees was clumpped up in one end of the fold (I think fetta), the meat sparingly inside and the other cheese throughout. As a cheese lover, I had to admit it was too much, and I didn't finish or take it with me. The tomato sauce for dipping had no stamd out flavoring but may have been fresh, which seems good. The house salad ro start was okay. I also ordered a mocha and cheese cake for dessert, which was average. Locally known for comfort food, I think it may be known more for its pizza and a good budget sit down where you can have a glass of wine and "belly fill". If pizza was a regular part of my food intake I would come back.

We ordered Zuccarelli from our hotel bar in Pompano Beach, and the delivery came super fast! The food was outstanding -- the chicken wings were honestly the best of the best, crispy and flavorful. I also got the stuffed mushrooms, which were perfect -- especially that delicious sauce! The clam and mussels pasta was excellent, full of flavor and cooked just right. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area -- everything we tried was spot on!

Came in last night and was surprised to see a full restaurant on Monday. This got me more excited to try this place out. Small and cozy place. They start you off with rolls, the garlic ones are great with fresh garlic. Maddie took great care of us and explained the specials they had going on. We started with calamari, which didn't disappoint. I had penne alla vodka pasta, And I'm serious... the best I've ever had. Rich and creamy. We also had the chicken Napoli, which was great. Chicken was cooked perfectly. I did see a snapper dish go out that I can't wait to try next time and the stuffed mushrooms from photos here I not catch on the menu yesterday that look amazing.

I order takeout from here a lot. Chicken parm sandwich is fantastic. The pizzas are great. My wife really likes the baked ziti. Garlic knots are something special... loaded with garlic. My kitchen smells like garlic for hours after they've been eaten. They deliver fast too. One of my absolute top places to eat.

Wonderful service, great food. Family friendly enviroment. Always have a great meal when we go. Pizza, pasta, seafood...wonderful choices on the menu. Authentic Italian cuusine.

Portions for small price is expensive. Not so good like it used to be at all. Service was OK. Won't go again there much better places around.

This is my go to place for excellent home cooked Italian food. The prices are so reasonable. The portions are big. The lunch specials are big. Meals are served with garlic rolls that have real chopped garlic and your choice of soup or salad. Soups are homemade. I know there is Italian on every corner, but I will drive out of my way passing all of the for Zuccarelli (pompano location). Ask for Rachel, Teresa or Kenny. All amazing servers.

I found my favorite Italian restaurant, I just wish I lived closer. Food is exceptional, the Italian Wedding Soup is perfect, plenty of little meatballs. I had the Chicken San Marco, 4 pieces of chicken with artichokes and mushrooms in a francese sauce over penne pasta. Yum in every bite. Portions are large, plenty of leftovers. Garlic bread, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with extra garlic. Service is awesome, Jon was our waiter, he was very attentive and had a good sense of humor. The restaurant itself is an older establishment, but don't let that fool you.

My husband and I come to South FL every year from Nashville. We frequently eat at Zucarelli's. Let me tell you. It is hands down the best authentic Italian ever! The garlic rolls are completely addicting. Homemade with butter and garlic. The baked ziti, pizza and pastas are amazing as well. The best part is the owner/manager and servers. When you come in they treat you like family!! I recommend this place 10/10!

Zuccarelli's Pompano, takes the place of the failed Nick's. It is near Galuppis' where we were going to hear music so it worked out well. I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and minestrone soup (cup). I asked the waitress is the minestrone soup had pasta in it and she said no. But it does. I can't have the pasta. My salad was so so. You don't serve warm shrimp with the Caesar salad part (It should have cooled off). There was sea bass as well as chicken parmigiana at the table which people liked. They brought garlic rolls to the table which people liked as well. The service was pretty good. We need refills on water a lot and that was a bit difficult. I know they are best known for their pizzas but we did not want that. It does have a lot of booths and tables and it does welcome families. An interesting visit to the Italian place in the neighborhood.

Great first experience. Service, food, and atmosphere. Felt like we were at a restaurant in Little Italy with better prices :-). I think our server (Jeff) was enjoy some espresso before we came. He was on top of everything while managing other tables and having a great sense of humor...many more visits in our future here....

Went to East location twice on vacation. Delicious! Loved the garlic rolls with REAL garlic. Pasta, calzones, soup, salad all yummy. Reasonable prices given the sizing. Wine a generous pour.

The food is amazing! Authentic Italian. The Soups are fantastic. I loved my lasagna dinner with my true Italian garlic bread. Yummy.

Service was outstanding. Our server was very patient and genuinely helpful. The food was good but not fantastic. The garlic rolls are loaded with fresh garlic and so delicious. Fried mozzarella just tasted like they were from frozen like the kind you buy at a grocery store. The Stromboli comes in 3 sizes and we got the smallest one. Would recommend if you just want a good ole Stromboli. The Alfredos were a bit meh to me. A little on the bland side but plenty of sauce served with the noodles. The salmon was a pretty large piece and very tender. The piccata sauce is strong though if you aren't a fan of the sour taste. Overall, great spot for a hearty meal. Portions are big!

We cant get enough of this restaurant. Been there several times and never leave hungry or disappointed. This last time was as good as ever. We go early, before 6pm to beat crowds and get a booth. The service is excellent, servers are helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is that of an older Italian restaurant, nothing fancy. For me, very comfortable and familiar. I ordered and really enjoyed my eggplant rollatini which was prepared without breading and had lots of ricotta cheese filling. My boyfriend loved his chicken parm dish with side of spaghetti cooked perfectly and the chicken was also fresh and tender.. Their sauce is really good and that is hard to find. We are both Italian so very critical of the sauce. (I happen to make a good one but love that i can enjoy a good Italian dinner without having to always cook it myself) The broccoli rabe was tender and fresh with plenty of nicely sautéed real and fresh garlic . The garlic rolls were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with again, fresh garlic. They dont have an early dinner menu but dinner prices are very fair for this amount and quality of food. I had a decaf Cappucino for my dessert. It was a little weak even for decaf, BUT i enjoyed it with the sugar crystal stirrer, a nice touch. Parking is easy in the lot. We may be back next week...a now favorite spot.

Weather was lousy this weekend so I figured I'd stop in on Saturday for late lunch ... the lunch menu was awesome... I ordered the veal Parmesan platter with spaghetti... it came with a very nice salad ... and garlic rolls .... The food was good and the service was exceptional...

We tried Zuccarelli tonight for the first time. Everything was delicious!! Kenny was our server and he was super personable and made us feel like family. I especially loved my pasta Primavera, which is not on the menu, but they didn't make it and they made it delicious!! Pizza was perfect. Nice crunchy bottom not too much sauce. Soup and salad came with our entrées. The cannoli was also delicious. We will definitely be back. Plus the prices were very reasonable for the very large portions. Oh, and I can't forget the delicious bread they start you off with. Hot garlic rolls, plain rolls or focaccia bread!

This is the place to go when you crave nothing super over/the-top fancy, but you want a classic Italian restaurant with delicious food and leftovers to bring home. Dare I say that it's almost nostalgic? The portions are large. A large calzone fed our family of three for two meals. After enjoying that meal for takeout, we decided to recently eat in. We had Ellie as our server, and she's wonderful. So attentive, personable, and patient. She's a gem. We enjoyed our pasta dishes for dinner that night, and lunch at home. Lots of classics on the menu like stuffed shells, baked ziti, and the various (eggplant, chicken...) parmigianas. The entrees come with soup or salad and delicious garlic rolls. Inside, it's nothing fancy, and for what this restaurant is...it doesn't have to be. But it's clean and comfortable, and it was busy on a Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Best Italian spot around!!! I use to work in an Italian restaurant before and could not find anything compared!! From the pizza to the garlic rolls and entree, this place is delicious! Every plate we have tried does not disappoint and even though the restaurant is small it is always packed! Totally recommend

Best Italian restaurant in the area . And they deliver. Casual dining delicious home made meals huge selection of old world Italian food . They also conveniently deliver it seems like a family own business. Everyone there is completely friendly. I even left my wallet there one time with the $800 cash a month later I ran into someone at a store. They remember me from the restaurant and said your wallet we put in the safe and over a mouth later cash was in there too ! Offered him money and did not except it. Thought I wound mention that too . Just a great place with good people Ii e been coming here for years the quality inconsistency of perfection food has not changed ever ! You will be glad you tried them and food is delicious ! Smd at a great price!!

am always real honest about all my reviews, i put a review on march 10,2024 of how great this place is, i even took my daughter and a friend to eat & i always have my pizza orders from there, but last night 08/31/2025 i have to say they send me one of the worst pizza i had ever had, i order for delivery and the pizza took less than 20 minutes to get to me, aside from that it was burn and black from the oven, i always order all meats with mushrooms and black olives, with 10 wings those where also over cook and nasty, my name is Rafael figueroa and they know who i,am , they gave me a pizza that was probably there and just put the other stuff on it, it took less to get to me then to place the order, aside from that i end up eating 1 slice and i was so mad i had to go out and get me something else to eat, its sad that a great place like this would do this to a customer that always always order from them, but for sure it will be my last time.

Looking for great casual Italian? This place is it. Our table had lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, meatball sub and chicken piccata. All of it was delicious and the lasagna was great as well. Also tried cheesecake, cannolis and chocolate cake and the cake was the winner. Excellent service as well!

Oh man! The food is amazing here!! I had the lobster ravioli...... to die for!!!! My dad had the sausage over Angel hair and Marinara and that was amazing too. It's literally like a big Italian home you're eating at. Everyone knows everyone and everyone is loud hollering at each other across the restaurant... felt like home to me.... Our sever John was amazing too! Every one was requesting him so he ended up getting busy as crap but he was on top of all of it! And the food is made to order so that was nice to know too. Definitely try it if you're in town

After previously enjoying takeout from Z's, It was such a beautiful evening that I decided to dine there al fresco. Rather than a lot of small tables, they have a few large ones (which I like). The staff was friendly and efficient, seating me quickly and bringing yummy garlicky rolls. After perusing their varied menu, I'd decided on a meal but quickly changed my mind when the server told me about that evening's special: Crabmeat-stuffed grouper on a bed of spinach with a side of linguini. Along with my minestrone soup which tasted like a warm hug and a glass of their house Pinot Grio, the meal was delicious and the experience enjoyable. I'll be back!

Ok i planned this trip to have dinner with my family and i ended up leaving the restaurant really sad this is on federal highway she didn't take down the order like it was she brings everyones plate like they wanted it except my plate they bring me the wrong food so now everybody has to wait for my food and guess what i felt horrible cause now there food was getting cold for waiting.then they bring me my food taste like a brick of butter and my pasta burnt you guys tell me how am i suppose to feel having this experience it was horrible here i am writing this review and im hungry cause i didn't like the food thanks a lot ...... ​

Had lunch at Zuccarelli's today. The veal is the best you've ever tasted outside of New York. They have just begun offering daily lunch specials and let me tell you it was really special. The farfalla Bianca Rosso was delicious. Highly recommend this family run business. A special shout out to Cathy our server, who has the most uplifting , positive attitude in serving her customers. A real pleasure in today's world. I encourage you to give it a try. It promises to be a most pleasant experience.

This restaurant is the best Italian place in town. Great service, great atmosphere and fresh food. Plus, there is a liquor store in the same parking lot. Can't get any better!
