Bazaar Sonoma (BaSo/巴索/バソ)

WOWWWW. Everything about this place is absolutely stellar. Incredible service from Sean, who helped us pick out the perfect dishes and was an absolute joy of a person. The food was out of this woooorrrllldddd delicious - the flavors were just spectacular; honestly some of the best food I've ever had. Ambiance was perfection. Lovely lighting everywhere and so beautiful. Highly recommend the smoked sour plum tea - it complimented the food perfectly. Honestly 10/10 experience. Can't wait to come back.

We began with the smashed cucumbers and lotus pond salad. Both were light, crunchy, and refreshing. The delicate flavors were a great way to start our meal. Next up were their signature Zhong Dumplings. I loved the balance of sweet and spicy. The chewiness of the dough was *chef’s kiss*. We also tried one of their specials - the Hawkers’ Dry Wonton. The flavor of the pork and mushroom filling is unmatched, and the clear broth the wontons came in was also delicious. For our larger dishes, we got the sizzling seasonal fish and fried chicken. The chicken was super crispy, but the real standout was the texture of the fish. It was so tender and perfectly flakey. It’s a super authentic preparation of fresh fish - a must try!

Amazing spot, great staff. Happy we tried the lotus salad, something Ive never seen before and such a unique combination of flavors. Tried Dumplings, pork rice bowl, and the trifle dessert. All delicious! Would be excited to come back!

Fantastic lunch today, highly recommend the YouTiao and clay pot rice! The textures and flavors in these dishes are fantastic. The dumplings were so tasty I forgot to take a picture of them. I’ll be back!

Probably the best meal I've had in a long time. Dan dan noodles, dumplings, everything was fantastic as always. Will be back very soon!

Came in on a busy Friday night and were immediately greeted and seated by the owner Sean. The food, service and ambiance were amazing. I would have ordered one of everything on the menu, but im a little fat boy and the doctor says I have a weight problem! My only regret is that I didnt bring Debbie (my cat), she would have loved the dumplings. Will definitely be back!

This is definitely an authentic experience, flavors I have never tasted before ( Love that). I wish the bang bang salad was a salad and not just chicken in peanut’s sauce. But it’s good needs lettuce and more depth. The chicken was a little gristly ( kind of a turn off) might be a thing. I ordered the braised lamb stew. Very good, very different. I want to try the other options. I also am not sure if this is just how it should be. Willing to go back, acquired taste for sure! 7/10 I added picked cabbage, lettuce avocado and nuts. I actually wanted a salad.

As my partner put it: "maybe the best meal I've ever had." Amazing food and kind people. In particular, I'd recommend the zhong dumplings, wonton noodle soup, Taiwan braised pork rice, and clay pot rice.
