Absolutely loved our experience at Rossitto’s! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed — cozy, warm, and so authentically Italian. The homemade pasta was outstanding, the sauces rich and flavorful, and their tiramisu (and cannoli!) might be the best I’ve ever had outside of Italy. The owners and staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel more like family than customers. Whether dining in or grabbing fresh pasta/groceries to go — Rossitto’s delivers both quality and heart. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Italian food. 🇮🇹

Been here twice, once in June 2025 & now again December 2025. Great food and staff both times. This recent dinner was outside and with our excellent server Tizianna! She was diligent about our omissions with our orders and was enjoyable to talk to. Five of us enjoyed everything from the bread to desserts! Can't wait to return!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars — A True Italian Experience An unforgettable Italian experience from start to finish. This is the most authentic Italian restaurant we’ve been to—the pasta was the best we’ve ever eaten, full of depth, balance, and tradition. We had the lasagna and gnocchi al pesto, and both were outstanding. The amaretto tiramisu was the perfect ending. The owner is the chef, and you can truly taste the love and care in every dish. Nothing feels rushed or commercial—just real Italian food made the right way. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and a special thank you to our waitress, Tiziana, who was attentive, kind, and made the experience even better. Five stars, no question. We’ll be back.

Google
Amazing authentic Italian restaurant and market. We’ve visited twice in the last month while visiting the area on vacation. Small restaurant, but there are tables outside as well. All pasta and desserts are made hand made in house. Service was great both visits. Once at lunch and today for dinner. Last time we tried the gnocchi and pizza. Tonight we both had lasagna. Absolutely will be back next time we are in town!

Google
We had an amazing dinner experience here! We both had the specials - pumpkin gnocchi (made vegetarian), and rigatoni. Both were absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Tiziana, was friendly and knowledgeable. The bread was delicious and everything tasted authentic and homemade!

Google
We were a party of 5 and everyone had something different. The food was delicious & fresh from appetizers to desserts. I had chicken saltimbocca. The best I've had in many years. Our server Taziana, made us feel like family and was wonderful!

Lissette L.

Google
Excellent food and service. Tiziana was very helpful explaining menu items. Food was delicious. Our party had the Emiliana pizza, the Rigatoni special (pictured) the parpadelle w salmon. Food was next level good. Highly recommend.

Google
This is REAL Italian food, with the atmospheric flare of true Italia. Homemade breads, desserts, and gluten free fettuccine pasta with an excellent wine selection! Indoor and outdoor seating with white table cloths, and warm welcomes all around. The food is absolutely sensational and Tiziana made sure I had an incredible evening. This place is an entire experience you won't want to miss! Ps- get the Nutella cheesecake! I ate it before I thought to take a picture - it was that good!

Yelp

Yelp
AMAZING! This IS Italy ! From our appetizers (Mozzarella/Mozzarella, and Mare Fritto) through our main courses and wine, Rissitto's is THE most Italian food I've had outside of Italy! Plus the service was exceptional, with the waitresses speaking native Italian. the gnocchi was heaven, along with our 3 other mains The ambiance is Italian Deli, with inside and outside seating. If you want Italian food, you want Rossitto's!

Yelp
Visited Rossitto's in Pompano on a Tuesday night, when the market transforms into a cozy little restaurant. It's a small space, but every table was full, which is always a promising sign. We started with warm bread served with olive oil, balsamic, and a sprinkle of fresh parm, a nice way to start. For an appetizer, we went with the meatballs. I always use the "meatball test" when sizing up an Italian spot... and these landed somewhere in the middle. The vodka-style sauce didn't quite work for me, and overall I'd rate them a 2.5 out of 5. For entrées, I ordered the Orecchiette Pugliesi. It was fine, but I've had much better. The traditional rapini was swapped for regular broccoli, and while the dish had some flavor, it was missing the depth and balance I was hoping for. Not sure I'd order it again. My wife had the pumpkin gnocchi special and said it was okay, just a bit too sweet for her taste or liking. My parents ordered the lasagna and the chicken al limone. The lasagna was just okay, nothing that stood out and the chicken al limone was considered good, but again not memorable. We wrapped with a cannoli, another must-try test for any Italian restaurant. It was decent, but not particularly unique. I'd give it a 2.8 out of 5. We were hoping to add a new Italian spot to our rotation since we have a few favorites already. Rossitto's was good overall, but nothing truly memorable and it may not make the cut next time.

Yelp
You will feel like you stepped into Italy when you come eat dinner inside this charming little market. The staff are amazing, attentive, and so accommodating. And the food is so delicious! Everything I tried was fresh and obviously made with top quality ingredients. My pumpkin gnocchi was incredible! They were so pillowy and full of wonderful fall flavors and coated in a velvety, creamy, rich sauce that I could have slurped up all by itself. The Vodka sauce was legit; you tasted the layers of tomato base, garlic, Parmesan, and butter with just a splash of cream. But best of all: OMG! The Tiramisu! Holy Toledo. I was so full but couldn't resist eating it in full because it was absolutely perfect!

Yelp
This place is so good! We usually go for lunch and have sandwiches but decided to have dinner one night. It's totally authentic Italian food! Best pasta I've had since we were in Italy! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Good food and the best bread anywhere around! Be sure the weather is good because you will want to eat outdoors. Only a few small tables inside. Great pasta and sauces to take home as well.

Yelp
Came in on a Friday night for dinner without a reservation (not recommended) but we were lucky enough to be seated after a cancelation! Service was professional and polite. The restaurant is small and located within a plaza - plenty of parking. We had the lobster ravioli, a fettuccine special with swordfish, and the house red wine. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back with a reservation next time!

Yelp
The food is amazing. Never disappointed. Beyond fresh and the flavors are out of this world. Truly the best and my favorite Italian restaurant. The service is fantastic, the staff are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant and feels like home. They sell Italian pastries and dry goods. Everything about this place is so unique.

Yelp
To say that I regret not coming here sooner is an understatement... I hate to call myself this but my husband and I are definitely foodies . I'm not gonna say that we're foodies in the traditional sense that we are snobs but we know what we like and I can tell you that this restaurant is simply incredible . Not only did they see us at a four top even though the restaurant was busy and they were only two of us , but they allowed us to sip our wine and enjoy our meal at a completely leisurely pace without any sense of pressure. This restaurant has the most incredible food that I have had in a very long time . I actually told my husband that there is only one other restaurant that I have ever eaten that in my life that had food that was this good. This is a do not mess extravaganza !! Five stars all the way

Yelp
Service is great. They have a store inside with real Italian foods and deserts. Fresh deli selection too.

Yelp
Amazing service and friendliest from the servers. Food was all amazing, also if u order two entrées and get a free bottle of wine!!!

Yelp
Food was outstanding Service was like my family home, friendly and fast. Perfect small eatery as you would find in every big city and Italy. What a gem !

Yelp
Wonderful food, great service. All entrées come with a nice big salad and their desserts are amazing.

Yelp
Gotta try the beef bolognese it's phenomenal. Also the staff is very friendly felt like I was back in Italy.
google avatar

Stephen L.

Yelp
This Italian place has everything; including desserts. Wow. Service was great and friendly. I can't say enough about the selection; square footage was on the smallish side so all the selections filled up the place. Lots to choose from with a nice ambiance; more for me lol
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly service, excellent food but a bit chaotic depending on which table you eat at. This market and restaurant is an excellent choice for authentic Italian cuisine! The portions are very ample and the tastes are very good! You will need a reservation, even for 1 or 2 people. There are only 6 tables inside and 1 outside.
google avatar

Yelp
Small local Mom & Pop place with awesome food. Tables are in the center of a little Italian grocery. This was our second time and every meal has been fantastic. Highlight include the ragu and pappardeli which was rich and thick. The lemon chicken was bright and so moist! Lastly, the pork chop special was stuffed with cheese, wrapped in Prosciutto and also perfectly juicy and gobbled up! There will be a third time!

Yelp
Just an add on to the previous review. In the last 10 days, I have been here twice and ordered a bunch of stuff and also got some desserts. Everything was amazing!! This is the best Italian food I have had in this country. The veggie pizza we got tonight was delicious!! Also, the staff here are super nice .

Joel G.

Yelp
Great food! Horrible to not have a second cas register. One for your marketplace one for your restaurant! Waited a long time never got my check and went to buy a cannoli to go and pay at the register ! Otherwise food very good. Why would you not realize this on your own!? Common sense!
google avatar

Angie H.

Yelp
Service was top notch...and fun! Heart shaped lobster ravioli, chicken lining and salmon with mushrooms were all delicious! Italian wines, were good and very reasonably priced. Cannoli was fabulous!
google avatar

Yelp
Could not ask for better authentic Italian food! I have been on the search for authentic Italian food in the states, and it has been impossible until Rossitto's. Amazing customer service, and it's a very welcoming place. They have THE best and most authentic carbonara I've had external of Italy. The owners are great, and I will continue to visit every time in town!

Yelp
This is a wonderful gem in Pompano Beach. Not only is it an Italian market, but a restaurant also. This is one-stop shopping for all your Italian cravings. Meat, cheese, cookies, bread, pastas, fresh olives .....etc. This is a family run operation with its sister market/restaurant in Venice, Florida. Great family, market, restaurant, and, of course, great service. A must try if you are in the area.

Jeffrey D.

Yelp
So there is a large group of us current / former hospitality workers and myself long time FOH that once a month (3 YRS PLUS )find a spot to meet, drink & eat. This lil cafe is worth finding-period. We arrived to a long sidewalk linen lined table to accommodate all of us. THE APPS were amazing, we mite have gotten spoiled w/the antipasti for 4 - outstanding. Good wine at the rite price per bottle. The entrees - EVERYONE WAS IN HEAVEN. as far as the evening specials we could not understand a word that was being said but the menu is all you need to know. DESERT WAS ON THEM AND IT WAS DELISH. THE FOOD - A SERVICE - B AMBIANCE -B WOULD I GO BACK - YES - THERE IS A LOT MORE I NEED TO EAT HERE link sausage club

Yelp
Was walking through this plaza tonight and came across this cute little Italian Market that also has outdoor and indoor seating. We went inside to look at the desserts and decided on Tiramisu and a chocolate cream with cream puffs underneath. I loved the cream in the tiramisu, overall it was a tad bit sweeter than I like. My friend loved her dessert. I asked the staff person and she said they've only been open about 3 months. The market has olive oils, balsamic vinegar, all kinds of pastas, chocolates and they also sell Italian deli meats as well as bread. Can't wait to come back here and try some other things.

Jacqueline G.

Yelp
If we could give more stars, we would. Some of the best Italian food we've had and THE best lasagne and Bolognese. Simple unpretentious place with great food. Special treat: Giulia is an incredibly knowledgeable sommelier who guided us to some incredible Italian wines and took the time to explain and to educate us. There's a wonderful market of Italian foods as well. We came here once on a road trip and just came back all the way from Miami, and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
Rossitto's Italian Eatery and Restaurant in Pompano Beach is a small place. There's more dining outside than inside. Don't be deterred. You'll have a fabulous experience eating at Rossito's. There's an 'old world' feeling to the place, and the staff is absolutely welcoming and friendly. My favorite food is basil pesto pasta. When I order it from restaurants (the few that offer it) they're usually using basil pesto from a jar, which I can understand. However, I don't want just a hint of pesto, which is usually the case. I definitely do not want basil pesto in a cream sauce, and I also do not want a substitution for basil. It's the basil I'm after. Rossitto's is the real deal with homemade pesto sauce. Instead of the gnocchi, I asked for linguini, and the linguini itself was perfecto. As an aside I've never had pasta served on a cheesy shell, which was a fun experience. But what hooked me was the very generous amount of pesto mixed in with the linguini. That's just the way I like it. The basil was fresh and so the flavor was out-of-this-world. I was even introduced to the woman who makes it. To put it simply, that was the best basil pesto & pasta I've ever had in any restaurant! I should mention that the house salad was crisp, and I enjoyed that, too. But it wasn't all about the food. It's the warm welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant staff. They were like that with everyone, not just me. Highest ratings!

Yelp
We had a delightful lunch here during the week. There are only a few tables inside and we were lucky to get the last available one. We decided to share a charcuterie plate -- they call it a tagliere mixto here. It had cheese, salami, a Bologna type cold cut meat, prosciutto, black olives, spicy red olives, artichoke hearts and roasted peppers on the board. Along side, they served a small round loaf of rustic bread. It was a perfect size for the two of us. For dessert, I tried one of their wedding cookies -- as I wanted something plain. My husband had an espresso coffee along with a sweet bomba -- I'm sure I'm not spelling this right. It had a lemon cream inside the light dough with a lemoncello "sauce" poured over it. They have a full menu of appetizers, sandwiches and salads. Plus there are hot Italian entrees. As well as various coffees and desserts. The restaurant is also a deli, a bakery, and a store -- with lots of Italian products along with pastries and breads to purchase as well as meats etc. They also have a cold case of frozen pastas and other items and a hot case with pre-cooked meals to take home. This is a nice international addition to Pompano Beach.

Yelp
We might have caught them on a bad evening but, some people say that "first impressions count". My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and we just happened to drive by, looked around and saw lots of folks having dinner outside(which is normally good sign) Went inside to kindly ask for a table for two and got greeted by a frustrated, angry and very unpolite hostess at the register that simply said "you have to wait at least 30min"...I looked around and there was a perfect table for two available (but not set) that could have been ready in a matter of mins. I guess business is too good!!! To turn down locals in a matter of secs. Ended up going to Miraggio's by the water and had a great time.

Yelp
Oh my freaking god. What amazing food, owners & products. We are hooked. We truly love this place. 100 stars!!!!!!! Our 1st night for dinner (Wednesday 7/20) we had bruschetta with fresh mozzarella, spaghetti puttanesca & Osso Bucco stuffed ravioli in a butter sage sauce. So freaking incredibly delicious. We took home for the next nights dinner breaded chicken cutlets & Italian rice salad. Plus some homemade deserts. Raspberry & chocolate Rugelach (the best I've ever had), sfogliatella (as good as the best I've had in little Italy in NYC), Italian lemon cookies (my girlfriend said they were incredible). We went back tonight (Friday 7/22) for dinner and had a medium vegetable Stromboli & a medium shrimp scampi pizza (the flavor of this pizza was just off the charts amazing). My girlfriend loved her Stromboli. We got another pound of raspberry & chocolate Rugelach, cans of artichoke bottoms, bottles of cherry tomato sauce, 2 focaccia breads, Italian green olives, 24 month aged parmigiana cheese and some another Sardinia sheeps milk wine cheese. Most to eat poolside tomorrow. We are definitely regulars here. Their food is amazing. They have awesome products for sale as well. Paulo & Flo, you are doing it so right!!!!

Chris W.

Yelp
Fantastic Pizza! It's tough to find a good pizza in Southern Florida. This pizza that was loaded was only $24, I've paid much more than that for terrible pizza at other places. Wish I found this spot years ago, we will be back. Great service and cute little market inside.

Yelp
Wonderful. Met some friends at Rossitto's for lunch over the Christmas Holiday. The food was very good, the service excellent and the atmosphere reminiscent of some gourmet food store/restaurants in NYC. Very friendly staff. We will be back, definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Outstanding food, warm and caring service with husband and wife always working and engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction. The experience is capped off by generous servings and fair prices. I have been a very satisfied and grateful customer for over 2 years.Food and service are excellent.

Yelp
Best I have ever had! Consistency is one of the hardest things to achieve and this place has mastered it. Complete perfection with everything that they make. The owners are absolutely divine atmosphere is wonderful the place is impeccable. It is such a treat to go in here we go here, at least several times a week and we absolutely love them! I'm 100% Italian so I'm not easily impressed by Italian delicacy in the area but this one has completely blown me away!

Yelp
My friend Luca and I went there for lunch. I had the Arugula & Cotoletta (large enough to share) to start and Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina. Bought a few items from the market as well. All high quality products. The food is great. Glad we met for lunch : )) Amazing!! Authentic!! Amazing!!

Suzie T.

Yelp
I bought dessert to bring to a friend's party. I was so impressed with the quality that I went back for lunch. If I could leave 6 stars I would. Everything is authentic Italian cuisine and products are imported. Family owned and you know the quality is good when the customers are from Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant/market.

Yelp
Yo, the Sfogliatelle Ricce was a dream that I'm having 8 days after eating it. Has not left my mind. Big portions. Thoughtful and kind staff. Neighborhood vibe with locals and tourists laughing and enjoying.

Patty M.

Yelp
ROSSITTO'S in East Pompano Beach... Family owned & operated, Italian gourmet market & eatery. Casual & friendly vibe. Pictured is the Italian Combo Sandwich (fresh/dense/crusty bread, olive oil, red wine vinegar, L/T, imported mortadella, salami, ham & provo). You know a good sandwich when one bite instantly evokes a memory...for me: Roman Street food. They offer togo, dine-in & catering and I can't wait to return to sample some other items

Kevin C.

Yelp
I ordered a fungi pizza (without Italian sausage) and there was probably a total of 6 pieces of mushroom on the entire pizza. And those are just slices of mushroom. Very disappointing. Wouldn't go back.

Theresa S.

Yelp
Thanks to Flo and Paola for a beautiful dinner as always. It made our anniversary very special.

Audrey C.

Yelp
What incredible food! I ordered off the catering menu for a party and all the guests raved about it! I want to call out the quality and taste which was amazing. Will definitely order again

Gonzalo R.

Yelp
sandwiches are amazing! Real prosciutto... 100% recommended. Pasta also a plus! ... Just be careful at the parking lot, I parked for 10 min and I got a parking ticket!

Annette C.

Yelp
My husband and I have seen Rossitto's from passing by and decided to give it a try. We looked up its menu and it looked good. We got there around 6ish today 3-11-25. We went inside and looked around and a lady sat us outside and gave us menus. She asked what we wanted and we debated on the sandwiches or the pastas. When she heard us say we maybe ordering the sandwiches, she took our Menus away and said then we couldn't sit there. We would have to take them to go. We placed our order and took 2 sandwiches to go. Thinking about it, as we left we thought that was very rude and off putting . There is another Italian deli Bellamonte on the other side of the street and have gone there before and they were very nice, but we wanted to try a new place. The 2 sandwiches cost $39.00! and weren't that much less than a pasta dish. There were Open tables and no sign telling us we couldn't eat there . I get mad thinking about it. In all fairness the 2 sandwiches were very large and good. We could probably have split one. But because of how they made us feel, we will not eat there again or recommend this place to anyone .

Yelp
Rossitto's. In summary, I think this is currently a deli, cafe, bakery/pastry shop, and fresh pasta place first and foremost, and a pizza place in a very distant third or fourth. The pizza needs a lot of work, but by all means, come for the deli (sandwiches and salads look great), bakery items, and homemade pastas. Let's start with the good: The shop is immaculate and nice, with many high-quality imported items from Italy on the shelves, including the salumi. Owners are super friendly and are willing to listen so that is a big plus. They make a very nice cappuccino on the Rancilio machine. I'd come here for a coffee and a pastry, no question. They bake most of their own pastries and bread and have various cooked items like lasagne, rice balls, eggplant parm, cutlets, etc. The sausage bread I brought home was really good. They make their own Italian sausage and dry and cure their own soppressata at their Venice, FL location. They also make their own fresh mozzarella there (which they don't use on most of the pizza) They make all kinds of ravioli and ribbon pasta fresh. I also had an opportunity to try their cooked pasta sauce (not the same as their pizza sauce, which is uncooked) with their all-beef meatballs and it was delicious; I would not hesitate to come back for a casual dinner and sit outside and have antipasti and pasta when the weather is nicer. OK, the pizza. I have no other way of saying this; the pizza is not good. We tried it as both a reheated slice and also two different medium pies. The oven they are using is a non-convection steel deck gas with a maximum temp of 575 degrees, and he is using a 00 flour (really should be using AP for a NY-style) with insufficient hydration. He's doing a 6-minute bake time which isn't long enough, resulting in a partially-baked pizza which you can clearly see from the uncooked top in the photo. Craig and I felt the crust was tasteless, likely not enough fermentation and salt. The sauce is an uncooked type that is not heavily processed and doesn't have any sugar added and not much oil in it. So we didn't get that much flavor out of it either. The cheese on the Margherita was a blend of fresh mozzarella AND a low moisture Grande unsalted, so overall the plain pie tastes very underseasoned. The Pugliese pie with sausage and rapini improved it because it was a delicious sausage; the pork fat and extra virgin olive oil, and garlic with the sauteed rapini also improved the flavor, but it still didn't salvage the crust and the sauce. Given that these people know how to bake bread and pastries, I think they can salvage it. Still, they probably need to switch the flour out, ferment the dough more to develop more flavor, and more hydration in the dough to make it stickier so they can bake it longer in the lower temperature oven without drying out the crust and burning it. But it clearly needs work, and if Mr. One Bite were to walk into this place and try that plain pie that we had, he'd destroy these poor people. We told them all about the pizza -- they seemed to agree with some of the technical issues (they aren't particularly happy they had to settle for a different brand of oven than what they wanted due to availability) so they took both the pies we ordered off the bill.

Yelp
Food is fresh. Service is great. I will definitely be back. I actually love the market too. Pizza. Olive oil homemade pasta. Owners speaking Italian. Cute vibe.

Barbara L.

Yelp
This is mine and my husband go to place. The level of consistency with incredible food is seriously admirable. Food, baked goods, cookies, desserts!! All made there in house. Have lunch or dinner, and take some tiramisu home. This restaurant is family run, and their owners are hands on, Paolo and his wife are the nicest people. Staff is always friendly. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Upon a recommendation from a friend, my husband and I decided to have dinner here tonight. Located in the strip mall at the other end from where Cafe Max is on Atlantic in Pompano Beach. This is the same location that used to be Trattoria novello. Now, it is a quaint little true Italian place with the market that sells homemade pastas and sauces. A few tables outside and about five tables inside. A great wine selection as well! The owner and servers are very nice and very helpful. The bread they bring to the table right away is outstanding! You certainly can order appetizers, but we were told it's not necessary between the bread and the large portions and salad, so we did not order an appetizer. My husband ordered the special, which was chicken Milanese, and I ordered the carbonara something it starts with a B which is the type of pasta that is used. My husband's dish also came with the side of roasted potatoes and peppers, which were delicious his chicken Milanese was excellent, and so was my dish. Very true Italian food. My husband had a cappuccino, and we ordered a Tiramisu to share both were fantastic. The prices are more than reasonable and we both took home half of our dinners they were so big! The service was very nice from Juan. We were able to chat with the people at the next table, and they were very nice. it was a very pleasant evening and dinner. I highly recommend it.
