We had a great experience at Rigazzi's from start to finish. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server, Brianna took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations and checked in just the right amount without ever feeling intrusive. We dined in the dog-friendly outdoor seating area in which the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed meal with our pup. Every dish was excellently prepared and full of authentic flavor. I ordered the chicken parmesan and side house salad which were perfection and my husband had the cannelloni which he deliciously devoured. We shared an order of their house-made toasted ravioli, probably some of the best we have eaten! We even ordered a small side of beef tenderloin for our dog, Diamond for a special dinner treat! We highly recommend and plan to return for future yummy meals!

I grew up in St. Louis and moved away for nearly 40 years. I’ve been back for a year and a half and finally made it to Ragazzi‘s. Everything was perfectly made and served. I had considered going to a nearby food court. I’m so glad I decided to go to Riga’s instead.

This was my first time here. It did not disappoint. Service was great, food was delicious. We were seated right away. We chose to sit on the patio, which was clean and the weather was fantastic. We were brought water right away. Our server Bex was very attentive and great energy. Food came out fairly quickly. Food temp was perfect. Very happy with my experience and we will return. Thank you Rigazzi's for making my first experience a great one!

Thank you all for helping me reach 13 million views. I only write reviews if something is outstanding or terrible 😆 🤣 😂 If you would like to keep up with the latest on my reviews hit that follow button. Here's your review: First, the outside, I totally forgot to take a picture, but there is an arch in front so you must not forget to stop and snap a pic. Next there are 2 doors you wanna look for the signs that say welcome. At first it may be confusing if you're chatting and walking, so heads up on that. The service was a 10 out of 10. They were polite, went above and beyond, and they remembered our drinks and kept them filled. They do have some of the classics and signature drink options so give those a try. I posted pictures of what I had for your viewing pleasure. It was the risotto balls. They are smaller than the ones Ive had before but they did not lack in big flavor. If you have dietary restrictions like I do, there are few options, but you can find something at least. My friends ordered salad and lasagna and they loved it. For dessert we had tara masu. It was so soft, creamy, and a delicate flavor. I noticed there was a dessert my friends asked for thats normally on the menu, but this day something didn't come out right and they refused to serve it. I like when people take pride and serve food to perfection. I could really tell how proud they were and seemed like a great team which showed up in the flavors. Welp thanks for reading my review. Until next time, happy eating 😋 and shopping 🛍 .

Google
I had the lasagna it was good! I like sauce so for me it was sauced well & not dry. The starter bread & butter was good too. I believe I paid close to $20.00 for it but I was on vacation. Staff was really nice and welcoming.

I'm not sure how but this was our first time at Rigazzi's. We will definitely be back. The food was amazing!!! The service was incredible! We will be back for sure!!!

On The Hill in Saint Louis, an area populated long ago by Italian Americans, Rigazzi's was one of my favorite places for it's warm, traditional home style dining. And, of course, it's great Italian dishes and the famous fishbowl of beer. I first visited 50 years ago and it's since burned down and been rebuilt, and then rebuilt again later, but the authenticity of the place and the people remains the same. Huge portions of fill your belly food, a nice list of wines and it just doesn't get much better than this for neighborhood dining.

My group of 3 went here for dinner following a visit to the History Museum on a cold Sunday in January. My dad had been wanting to try this spot for several years and we finally made it. I guess I usually expect an Italian restaurant to be more upscale than others, I'm not sure why. This place is not so- which is totally fine! Just don't expect fine dining. Tables are covered in plastic red and white checked tablecloths and the menus were faded with some words rubbed away (making it hard to read). I think the item we ordered that had the most flavor was the bruschetta, it was delicious and I could have eaten that for my full meal. I ordered the chicken marsala and was able to eat the whole dish, it was tasty! But again, just not the best you can find on the Hill. The other two in my party ordered lasagna and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean, we were seated quickly, service was friendly, and the prices seemed a little steep. The stained glass picture caught my eye on the way to the restroom because we had just viewed the new World's Fair exhibit at the history museum. Love a spotlight on local history, and it's a neat custom piece.

Yelp
If you're not coming for the fishbowls alone, what are you doinggg. Iconic. So much history in this place. So much character. You could spend hours just inspecting the decor. The food is the only thing keeping me from giving my full five stars, but they've been making some changes to their menu and chefs recently I hear, and each time I've been in here, I've had a better experience. Nevertheless a GREAT spot for drinks and hanging out on the Hill. The new high-top tables near the bar are prime for groups, either sitting or standing, and the patio is a great little vibe outside as well. I often come with a big group, but the service never suffers. Always quick, attentive, and gracious. Come for the vibes. It's history, it's the Hill, it's familia.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Rigazzi's in about two years. Sadly, I have to say that my experience this time was disappointing. The food seemed to be pre-made, as opposed to being freshly made to order. My Caesar salad was served on a cold plate, which suggests that it was pre-made, and taken out of the fridge. And it was made with iceberg lettuce, instead of the traditional Romaine lettuce, with quite a bit of dressing on top (as opposed to lightly tossing it with the lettuce, which is how it's normally prepared), and croutons off to the side. My entree, and that of my dinner guest, appeared to be reheated. It felt as if we were served leftovers. For dessert, I ordered the New York style cheesecake with a drizzle of strawberry syrup. However, instead of the syrup being lightly drizzled over the cheesecake, it was poured over it. The cheesecake was literally sitting in a pool of syrup on the plate. The service was prompt and friendly, although our appetizer came out after we were already served our entrees. However, our server was nice enough to take the appetizer off our bill for our inconvenience. Overall, though, the food was just OK. It wasn't as good as it was when was I there two years ago. In baseball lexicon, Rigazzi's fast ball has lost quite a bit of velocity. Perhaps it has something to do with the change in ownership that occurred not long after my previous visit.

Yelp
Was close to the Hill and looking for something to eat with the family. Rigazzi's was one of the few restaurants open for lunch and so glad we stopped by. Rigazzi's is a classic restaurant that serves all the dishes you expect as well as some STL ones we were excited to see. Server was quick to take our order and deliver drinks quickly. The Decor inside of Rigazzi's was pretty cool and provides an intimate and causal dining experience. Food was quick and no issues with seasoning or taste, and reasonable prices. Will be back to Rigazzi's, as Sunday is usually a great time for lunch in the Hill. Give them a try!

Yelp
The food was average. We did have some good mushrooms as an appetizer. The waiters were attentive but at times seemed unorganized with running food out or forgetting to bring drinks . We did have lots of left overs . The fish bowls drinks are pretty novel.!
google avatar

Jenelle B.

Yelp
The house salad was remarkable! Fresh romaine with green olives that gave it a little kick. Toasted ravioli were a bit different than other STL traditional toasted ravs - these were tiny little pockets of meat which seemed to be deep fried. Yum! The accompanying meat sauce was really spectacular! Tuttomari was less saucy than other STL dishes but had great flavor. Our server, Bex, was so cheerful and attentive!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best pastas I've ever had and I'm pretty picky with pasta! First of all, I love that this has a more casual/relaxed vibe compared to other restaurants in the Hill. Parking is easy with a small lot behind and plenty of street parking around the Hill. The inside was spacious with a lot of indoor seating. Came here on a Friday around 5pm and we were seated right away. Service was good and pretty fast. The toasted ravioli and classic wings were good, but the highlight was the salsiccia diavolo! The sauce actually had a spicy kick to it which was perfect (I feel like restaurants don't usually make it that spicy and I have to add crushed red pepper to make it spicier) and ended up tasting even better the next day when I had leftovers. Can't wait to try the other pasta dishes as I've only heard good things!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The toasted ravioli is an embarrassment to St. Louis. It is not toasted ravioli but rather naked and almost raw dough ravioli. Pasta con broccoli has absolutely no taste. Unbelievable what happened to this once great place! We also had it catered for a work event, showed up over an hour and a half late, did not speak English and had the worst attitude upon delivery.

Yelp
A very dear friend of mine and I met after years of separation and slid into one of Bex's booths with ease. She was amazing (and patient) allowing us all the time we needed to have our conversations and catch up. Which we really appreciated. But at the same time, she was super attentive. They have really great gluten-free options, so I was happy to eat there with my celiac and I felt very comfortable to do so. There were big groups, intimate dates and friends in small groups. This place can handle it all. It's a really cool little place in St. Louis and if you're in the mood for Italian food, I feel like this is should be your go-to. Make sure you sit in one of the original Checkerdome seats if you have to wait and get a selfie with Al Capone who is sitting g in the corner .
google avatar

Yelp
My sister bought several cannoli for a holiday dinner. They had about 1 inch of filling in each end, empty in the middle! The filling was more like cake icing than the traditional ricotta cheese filling. Shameful!!
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Service and food was perfect: manicotti, pizza and tortellini was perfect! Have not been here in years and reminded me what a great little place this was.
google avatar

Courtney W.

Yelp
If you enjoy Italian, large portions, and good flavor... come to this place! The restaurant itself has a lot of character with the decor and photos. Service was good as well with accommodating our large party.
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
Food was great. Service amazing. Highly recommend. I had the eggplant Parmesan and a house salad.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Lunch specials are a good value. For one we chose a chicken Caesar salad. It was large but not too large with plenty of chicken. More importantly, it wasn't overly sauced and lettuce was fresh. The other meal was parmaciano with fried broccoli, creamy Italian soup, snd a small house salad. The meat patty had the flavor and consistency of a meatball covered with cheese and a red sauce. The breaded broccoli was overcooked with a light burnt taste. The soup and salad were excellent. Service was a little distant. There wasn 't immediate follow-up after meal delivery, drinks weren't refilled, and I had to ask for the bill.

Yelp
A great place to go if you're wanting pasta on the Hill. I would recommend this place if you're wanting something a little more casual and affordable. They also usually have a short wait for tables because their dining room is so large and service is quick. We got seated after a ten minute wait on a Friday night. I've had great experiences before. This visit the kitchen lost our ticket so we waited an hour for food but the wait staff was nice and gave us a great discount which we were very pleased about. We didn't even have to ask or complain about the wait for them to offer the fix for us. Food is always good. The house red wine is also delicious.

Abigail R.

Yelp
It took about 20 mins for us to be acknowledged at the bar and have the plates cleared. My husband ordered pasta con broccoli and I ordered potato skins. My husbands pasta came out 20 mins before my appetizer. When asked they said they were on the way. When brought out finally this is what they looked like. They're extremely burnt and supposed to have pepperoni but there's not much. I don't firmly believe I should've been charged for an app that came out 20 mins after an entree. Especially being this burnt, on top of the burnt taste. I want to love this place but I don't and I feel sorry for that. I hope everyone else has a lovely experience. I'm sure normally they're great. But tonight, not so much. I will not be going back and as an stl native, that does make me sad.

Yelp
We made a reservation for a large group awhile in advance for Father's Day. Unfortunately, we still had to wait outside in the heat for at least 20 minutes. They told us it was because our waitress was stuck in traffic. Once we were seats, the service was okay. The food was delicious. I really liked the chicken spedini.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
Really wanted to give more stars. I have been coming here for 25+ years and it's always been excellent. Today, the service was second to none. Becky was great! Her personality is 5 stars But the food...has changed. Didn't taste like it used too. Not sure if its the cooks, or new management. Reviews say its both. I love the old building and the history. The Hill is a cool area to visit and eat pasta

Eric N.

Yelp
Rigazzi's is decent, but in my opinion there are better Italian restaurants on The Hill. What I wanted to review is the Linguine and Clams. I should have returned it when I ordered it, but I don't like to complain to the service staff. I was once a waiter, so I don't feel right sending back food. But the Linguine and Clams is made with a ridiculous amount of lemon juice. I've never had it prepared that way before. And I always order that dish at Italian places. So if you don't want a bunch of lemon juice in this dish, be sure to order without.

Yelp
This restaurant used to be one of our favorites. We had a party of 7, some who have been dining here for 30+ years. 1st I specifically requested a kids menu for my grandson(7 years old). He orders the Fettuccine Alfredo. The waiter brought him the adult meal, which we didn't notice until the bill came. I feel the waiter should have caught that it was suppose to have been a kids meal.(The 7 year old ordered himself! Then, my friend in the party ordered a hamburger and fries well done. He got a Raw hamburger. He had cut the burger in half. So, he sent it back. The waiter brought a burger back. The same exact burger, which was well done this time, but the bun was hard as a rock, so clearly it indicated it had been microwaved. With this kind of service they will definitely lose customers, which is really sad because we used to love coming here.

Yelp
The pizza was good but the rest of our food left a lot to be desired. The tortellini was flavorless and mushy. The chicken spedini was so garlicky it was almost unbearable but the chicken was cooked nicely. The toasted ravioli was NOT TOASTED at all. There was no breading at all. It was hard and inedible. I saw an ad on Facebook which prompted me to order for dinner and I am incredibly disappointed. We spent $98 and threw most of it away.

Terri A.

Yelp
Took over an hour to get food & at that point we were told couldn't do the pizza that one person in our group ordered. The chicken parm was burnt & not edible & the other 3 entrees were lukewarm. Used to be an iconic STL place... not any more.
google avatar

Jamal W.

Yelp
This place is a gem. The place was clean. Decorated with a variety of celebrity figurines. I had the steak sandwich. It was thickly sliced and very mediocre. I wasn't impressed at all. The toasted ravioli was good. Service was great. I would recommend this place but not the steak sandwich.
google avatar

Wanda H.

Yelp
So, after having looked over reviews, I was a bit worried about going here. But it had been decided, so "go there, we did". Now, I must say we were there on a Tuesday at 4PM, so the place wasn't hoppin' by any means. But the service was very good, and the food was good too. The cocktail was good too... Prices were more reasonable than a lot of places I've been to lately, so I really appreciated that. The ambiance was nice, with good music playing in the background. Would not be opposed to returning.

Valicia S.

Yelp
Busy Sunday afternoon visit. Clean restaurant. One server took our order and then another server corrected the first and we discovered that the online menu is out of date, so we had to switch our order. The food was pretty good! The Margarita Pizza was fresh, but basic. The crust is crispy and seems homemade. The beef sandwich was also pretty good, but also basic. Server was friendly. I am happy that we were able to try this restaurant but I wouldn't say that what we ate was anything to rave about. Thanks for reading!
google avatar

Richard I.

Yelp
Had lunch here two days in a row if that is an indication of how much I enjoyed the experience. I got fast and friendly service, and the food was a great value in my opinion. I would go so far as to say it is the best lunch I've had in St. Louis, over the past three trips I've made to this city.
google avatar

Tylee J.

Yelp
I've been to three restaurants on The Hill. I have nothing negative to say about either of them. Our waitress was very nice & our food came out at good time. The ambiance in this place is laid back but what threw my for a loop was the music choice for an Italian place. It was comical but they were playing old country music from when I was a kid, early 2000s country songs I forgot all about. The food was great I'm a sucker for tutto mare. I won't compare the other restaurants to this one & say who is better. I definitely would come back! Great place great food.

Jeff J.

Yelp
The food is very good. The pastas are wonderful. Service is a little slow, but you'll enjoy yourself.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Took a while to get a table most likely from the SLU and Blues game that night and was pretty crammed. We got the toasted raviolis which were a decent start to the meal but could stand to be more crispy, and a ceaser salad which was fine, could use more dressing. The big issue I had was with the lasagna. On the menu it said it was "colossal" and I ended up eating it in about 7 bites. Taste-wise is was very good, props on that. I would reccomend to the restaurant that you either change the description to not say it's colossal or just give a better slice.

Yelp
Hadn't been to Rigazzi's in years. Read some Yelp reviews and did not know what to expect, but thought it was worth a try. SO, SO pleasantly surprised. The gf offerings were amazing! The food was delicious and priced reasonably. Service was prompt, efficient and pleasant. We were there on a weekday at 4p which made us one of a very few customers at that time. The restaurant has an old world vibe which made it seem solid with tradition and true to a certain standard. Had a great meal and pleasant time .

Bob F.

Yelp
incredible and authentic food, atmosphere and service. LOVE THIS ICONIC RESTAURANT on the HILLO

Henry R.

Yelp
Good service a they had the best pizza ever! Recommend it to everyone. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
I have alpha gal syndrome. We were at a party with pre- determined food. I was prepared not to eat. My significant other mentioned it to the bartender that was taking care of our party. The chef came out to me and discussed what I liked and I immediately had a beautiful plate of delicious food. Great place. Great people. If I had to grade them- A plus

Savannah M.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. Made reservations to sit at the bar and they put us in the very back of the restaurant. Food came out cold and our server didn't do anything but say "sorry." Will never come back and don't recommend going!
google avatar

Chelsie R.

Yelp
Salad was terrible, basically no dressing. French dip had a speck of meat and no cheese. Will NOT be back here and do NOT recommend. My family of 3 ate here for should not a joke. They charged us $15 in gratuity because there were more than 8 of us at the table but we were only a party of 3 we weren't all paying together.
google avatar

Brent E.

Yelp
We traveled from out of town staying for the weekend. Heard nothing but good things about the food and ambiance. Needless to say our experience was awful. It was a busy weekend so obviously was not expecting much. We waited an hour to be seated which was expected. But we sat down and waited almost 2 hours for our dinner. Waiter was very apologetic but never saw a manager except in passing. There was a table near us that waited longer. As a side note they seemed fully staffed. Would have been nice to see a manager but never bothered to stop at the table. Would not recommend and probably won't return.

Yelp
This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE neighborhood fun bar/restaurants. It's been recently purchased by new owners who have spruced up the place a bit. It still has the comforting, old style, Italian, hill vibe with a bit of a refresh! The place looks clean and the employees seem happy and are always friendly. The HH menu is awesome. The regular food menu has some exciting updates! One of my favorite items is the GLUTEN FREE crust pizza! While they do not have vegan cheese this IS one of my favorite gluten free crusts for taste AND texture. It's so good I don't mind eating it without vegan cheese. I love the salmon as well. The place is usually buzzing and the energy is good. I love coming here for the fun vibes. And keeping with the old school tradition they will still serve you the drink of your choice in a fish bowl!

Yelp
Well, it was my birthday dinner and I was really excited to get some Italian food at The Hill. I was very hopeful to see what it all was about but I left being worried of getting some food poisoning. I ordered the tutto mare and I could taste that the calamari was probably sitting around for a while. I didn't try to raise any problems during the stay I was okay with just letting our server know about my concern. The bread was cold too, didn't even taste fresh or good and it looked like it been sitting out. Felt very dismissed by the server, she only asked like twice about the food, first time being me telling her the concern and second to ask if I want a to go box. Overall, disappointed, I wouldn't recommend the place and hoping it gets better in the future.
google avatar

S R.

Yelp
Food is improving each time we come. Busy night, but service was still good. Drinks were delicious and apps were spot on
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Went for birthday dinner and the ambiance was fun / service was fast. As expected, they were super busy on a holiday Saturday night. The red sauces were all tasty. But the pasta was mushy, especially in the lasagna which was recommended by the waitress. The carbonara was unremarkable, tortellini very good and toasted ravs not great. Salads were underdressed and mostly just cold iceberg lettuce. All in all, for the price point and Hill experience, this was not a great experience.
google avatar

William E.

Yelp
The service was by far not the best tried to over charge for drinks. Asked what was on tap and placed our orders first they didn't have the beer that was ordered and instead of coming and asking just served up another one not appropriate at all than whet to pay the bill come to find out they were trying to charge for bottles instead of tap prices claiming they were out of the tap and just served bottles instead in the glass and it took more once again not the right way to do things should always ask the customer what they want. When asked to speak to the manager seemed annoyed he had to talk to a customer and accommodate them for their mistakes. I work retail and know how it is and I usually don't write reviews but it was not busy and they seemed to have plenty of staff so taking the time to take care of your customers is the right thing to do. I know they have changed ownership and maybe it's the new owners but with this kind of service they will lose customers that like me use to love to come here.

Kristie K.

Yelp
The manager became defensive when we let him know that all three chicken parmigiana was so spicy that we didn't eat it. The noddles had been tossed in red pepper flakes. Why???? Italian should not be that spicy. He did take one meal off. We will not be back! Service was good.

Joe E.

Yelp
Margherita pizza is filled with balsamic vinegar and was awful. Regular cheese pizza had too much oregano on it and tasted like Mexican food. I'm a full bread Italian and it was awful. Calamari was greasy. Sorry but I have to be honest. Not a good spot.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm saw on Yelp that Rigazzi's had gluten free options and was very happy with the variety of options on the menu (gf pasta, gf pizza for medium size and larger, salads, and some other entrees). I'm celiac and my waitress answered the questions I had and ensured there were no croutons on my salad (before I even had a chance to ask). I enjoyed the carbonara on a gf penne that was delicious! They even added a "gluten free" tooth pic which brought me peace of mind!

Yelp
Rigazzi's, the legendary restaurant on The Hill has been a mainstay since 1957. Known for the "Frozen Fishbowl" a 32 ounce goblet which most people get a beer in, it's the oldest restaurant on The Hill. Their "story" is they are dedicated to crafting unique and delicious dishes using only the finest ingredients. They seek to create a memorable dining experience. Their website said there are new owners. Well maybe the owners ought to reread their story because our dinner there was a colossal failure. There were 10 of us at the table so this isn't just my critique. Where do I start?? Their T-Ravs were the worst I've ever had. They were small, white, and maybe undercooked. And they didn't even taste good. Just about everyone in St. Louis makes good T-Ravs in St. Louis because it's a city signature dish. They should be large, golden brown, crunchy, and bursting with flavor. Theirs had none of that. The chicken parm was nothing special and kind of dull. The spaghetti and meatballs probably come out of an institutional can and could have used more sauce. The linguine and clams was good but o don't think I ever had a bad one. The pizza, although St Louis style was nothing to write home about. Plus have gotten the same thing at Imos. The chicken Marsala was certainly very weak and tasted like something you'd get at a diner. Honestly, I've made restaurant quality chicken Marsala that was phenomenal. This was no better than any cheap family chain such as Pasta House or Olive Garden. We expected more from a legendary family owned restaurant that has been around for almost 70 years. But, they have a formula that obviously works but we certainly won't be rushing back. As a food and entertainment critic that covers St Louis and Chicago, I'm very critical but have to be. I stand by my review.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Not sure what has happened here. Have been going to Rigazzi's for 40 years and the food has really gone down hill. Everything tasted like it was right out of a can or jar. Toasted ravioli were regular frozen ravioli deep fried - no bread crumbs tasted freezer burned. The marinara was cool and right out of a #10 can. Terrible. The deep fried rice balls were cold in the middle and served with the same terrible canned sauce and we're cool. The redeeming factor was adequate service and ice cold fish bowls. Unfortunately the new owners have missed the opportunity to preserve and move this iconic neighborhood restaurant forward. Very disappointing in our experience.

Jeremy H.

Yelp
Went there for the first time this past Saturday. Took 30 minutes to get water served. Then on top of that took another 30 minutes for bread and 40 min for our food to come out. The food wasn't good at all, you could tell our food was sitting under a warmer for a while because the food was dry. Spend a decent amount there just to be let down. Won't be returning and was a waste of money. Also the service we were provided wasn't the best, had other people served before us that came after us.

Yelp
I have always loved Ragazzi's. I've gone there for years. Never had a problem or a bad meal. But if you are going to review the good, you also have to be honest about the not so good. I had reservations for 5 this evening for my wife's birthday dinner. We were on time and waited to order. After our orders were placed we waited an hour and forty minutes. Crazy, right? I complained twice and was assured the meal was being placed on delivery trays. It finally came. Seven out of eight meals were room temperature. I called the waitress over and talked to the manager. The food was remade and delivered in twenty minutes. It was Luke warm. At this point we bailed out. The manager kindly comped the meal. I appreciate that. I tipped the waitress well. It was not her fault. Nobody got mad or ugly. Just disappointed. Ragazzi's is better than this. I will come back. Anyone can have a bad evening. Unfortunately it wrecked my wife's birthday supper.

Yelp
Such a disappointment. We have come here for years. We moved away for nine years. The lunch menu was very limited and fairly expensive. Nineteen dollars for a plate of spaghetti is too much. Service was slow and bread wasn't good, what kind of an Italian restaurant doesn't have good bread??? Person with me suggested the place had changed hands. I won't be back.

Yelp
We're frequent patrons of this restaurant. Unfortunately, we had our first terrible experience at Rigazzi's. No TVs were on in the back room as they usually are. Our fishbowls were flat (3 different beer brands), and they were out of Bud Select as well as the steak sandwich. The bread was served cold instead of the usual warm. Toasted ravioli and chicken wings were decent. We didn't see our server for refills on drinks/water until after our entrees arrived (which was a substantial amount of time). Fettuccine Alfredo was good as was the chicken parmesean. The Italian beef sandwich was less than impressive compared to the past, and the calamari was greasy, rubbery, soggy, and unseasoned. Our server was inattentive and unfriendly. Additionally, the bathroom, which is typically spotless, was dirty and smelled like a zoo. It breaks my heart that one of our favorite STL establishments has gone so far downhill. Hopefully, they will rectify some of these needs for improvement. Moving forward, we'll just go to Massa's in St. Charles as they far surpass theh food quality and hospitality of Rigazzi's.
