Incredibly cool store and toys. I wanted something special and unique for my two nieces so stopped in randomly on my camping trip. (super cool area btw) I was sooo happy I did! Normally don't leave reviews but these folks are doing something different and special. Curated, cool, unique items made it hard on what to pick out for my nieces... they loved the gifts and asked where i "..found something like this!" 🤣 So cute.

Norman & Jules strikes again! I ordered a gift online for my niece and overall just had a really positive experience. After a few other amazing experiences with this shop - I feel compelled to write a review. The selection is fantastic with beautiful, unique, and interesting items for kids and babies of all ages that you won't find at your average toy store. The customer service is awesome! I have been given very thoughtful gift recommendations like the one for my niece - they are always so sweet and happy to help! You can tell how genuinely passionate they are about what they do. My orders have always arrived quickly and been wrapped carefully and I just love supporting this awesome small business.

We love our local toy shop! We have been going here for years and always have a lovely, happy experience. During the pandemic, once it was safe for everyone to reopen the doors, we have taken our daughter for regular special trips to Norman and Jules to pick out one special gift, and they sure are special :) beautiful, thoughtful toys that stand the test of time!

My wife and I are huge fans of the store. They have fun, engaging, and interesting toys that grab the attention of our six month old daughter. They carry really cute clothes, too! The staff and owners are super helpful and knowledgeable. We even bring my in-laws when they are in town—they love it, too. We look forward to trying the curbside pick up!

Norman & Jules is THE most magical toy shop I have ever been in! Every time I go it’s like walking into a play & imagination oasis! In the day of everything digital and plastic, it is so refreshing to have a store in the neighborhood that curates the most beautiful toys for all ages. It’s my only go-to shop for gifts, and I can never resist picking up something for my own kids (& greatly appreciate the darling gift wrapping that’s complimentary!). Everything I have ever purchased is special and becomes a keepsake. I’m currently obsessed with the new baby/kids clothing selection, and I always bring out of town guests by so they can witness the magic! Park Slope is a better neighborhood because of shops like this!

This is a beautiful store that is offensively expensive. They even charge $10 dollars for a 45 minute sing-along, which seems high to me. I have bought several things here because the products are so appealing however, they were very unaccommodating when I needed to return something that was barely used, claiming that I did not have a receipt (I did) and that the baby sunglasses were "stretched out." The manager (owner?) did nothing to look into the situation (check a new pair of sun glasses to see if they were also very flexible could have been a possibility.) For a store that has the nerve to charge so much , they should treat their customers better. This kind of business really bums me out -- an uptight children's store. I for one, won't be returning. The owner responded to my review and here is my response in return: You claim you want to make every experience a wonderful one. I did not feel this experience was wonderful. There is nothing "unfair" about my review. I understand the policy but these glasses were hardly worn and have been sitting in their package for the last month. I think customers should be given the benefit of the doubt, but that is just my opinion and why I will be looking for another local toy store to drop money in. Well, at least you give the sing along money to the artist.
