3.5 stars. We had a reservation but spent time longer than anticipated time looking for parking. They were still able to seat us. The ambiance is quite casual. The service was nice. My friend ordered the sausage caciattore and I ordered the tortellini pesto sausage pastas. The sausage caciattore was excellent - savory, a decent kick, everything cooked well, so a great choice. The tortellini pesto sausage was not the best. I thought the pest would have been a little drier but the pasta was drowning in the sauce. The pesto was also creamier than I would have liked. The whole thing had just one flavor, which was more creamy than pesto. I got the individual portion but it was still a lot to finish. Once the oils started separating out the next day, the pasta was more manageable to eat. I wouldn't recommend ordering this. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and limoncello. The desserts were good. Limoncello was very nice. The tortellini downgraded this place from 4 stars to 3.5 stars. If they can make that sauce more pesto, less cream and more flavorful, this place is totally worth 4 stars or even higher.

Pasta is always really creamy and chicken is very tender and soft atmosphere for the evening. I wish they had the heater lamps on would’ve been nice and I wish the bread was more hot. They gave me cold bread and I’ve been here other times and the bread was nice and toasty. It really does make a difference

When the reservation was made, we were asked 'would you like to sit inside or outside?' My husband mentioned 'well, we're coming for our anniversary so which would you recomnend?' Host said 'we have a nice covered patio, I'll put you out there.' Unfortunately, they didn't remember there was a 30(+) people party that was scheduled to have dinner at the same time that would be taking up the entire covered patio. 🙄 so we were sat on the side of the building between a wall and a planter where the members of the party had to squeeze by and bend over our table to get to their very beautifully set up patio. So when we asked to sit inside, we grabbed our own silverware and were sat at the smallest table in the middle of the room. Not at the nice corner table by the windows or the high table with the beautiful decor on the wall. There were two other tables being used and a few couples at the bar eating. Not busy at all, plenty of room to accommodate a couple having dinner on their anniversary. The strawberry lemon drop was good though. 🍸 We got the check at left. So disappointing. The food on the menu on the website looked like it could be good.

I’m an Italian born in Italy and generally do not frequent Italian restaurants. My brother introduced me to Gregorio’s; I have reconsidered. Great eggplant parmigiana — multiple eggplant layers with judicious use of cheese and sauce. Meatballs are also pretty good. Bread is so-so. Great server. She introduced me to Tanqueray 10. This will be my go-to gin. A lovely evening!

Gregorio's is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the cozy Italian villa ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. We visited on a Saturday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately! The handmade pizzas were a hit at our table — absolutely delicious — and the gluten-free pasta was hands down one of the best I've ever had. My husband loved the gnocchi. Everyone was raving about their meals! Our server was an absolute queen — charismatic, attentive, and made our night so much fun. She truly elevated the whole experience. The wine selection was fantastic as well, perfectly complementing the flavorful dishes. If you're craving authentic Italian cuisine with great vibes and exceptional service, Gregorio's is the place to go! Can't wait to return.

We went for a late afternoon lunch. The restaurant was about 20% full. Service was rather slow about 10 minutes before we had someone come over to the table. I felt the food was about average. Calamari was well prepared and the pasta was fairly good, however the pizza was well overdone and was scorched on the bottom. Prices were on the high end for the area. The atmosphere was good and views were very nice.

Google
This place is awesome, we have always wanted to go in but never quite made it there not sure why but this is our new favorite place to go. Give me a shout out to Christian and Spencer. Even the bread here is really good and one of my favorites is the butter is warmed and ready to spread. The chicken and broccoli was amazing. I was so full that I could not even eat dessert which does not happen very often. Can't wait to go back and try the other stuff and the desserts. They do have a good wine selection here also.

Google
Excellent food and service. They have indoor and outdoor seating with live music. Great little spot within walking distance of the beach.

Yelp
Ist time visit.. Dinner time 6pm.. We sat inside and restaurant was 2/3 full. Live entertainment outside. Party of four.. Had Fried Calamari (large portion but thought was a bit chewy and sauce provided was thick and hard to dip).. Bowl Gnocchi & Chicken Soup was tasty and excellent.. Half chicken and Sicilian also good, Spaghetti & Meatballs Tasted good and I had Fettuccine Alfredo w/Chicken which was excellent. Our server (Melissa) was friendly and did a good job. She forgot to bring wife's glass of wine, but did offer to comp the glass when brought to her attention; however as meal was mostly over we declined. Most portions of meal were half portions but I chose a full portion of the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken ($34). Price was a bit high for me, but regardless of half/full portions they were generous portions. I would definitely eat there.. Great atmosphere and if you sit outside they have great entertainment.

Yelp
First night in Carlsbad and everyone was craving Italian ! Found this place made a reservation and upon walking up the indoors is so pretty, it's an open kitchen, has a huge balcony and hidden bathrooms ! Koral took care of us and she was so kind, patient and honest !! Super sweet gal. (Thanks so much I remember her name because it's so pretty !) Everything we got was 10/10 and was perfectly proportioned. Drinks delish- got 2 Italian Paloma's and a Italian marg We come every summer around the 4th and this place will definitely be added to the list of coming back to enjoying again !!

Yelp
It's a great Italian resturant in the adorable village town faire shopping. They had beautiful life music tonight. The server Claire was very helpful in my food decision. I enjoy coming here when I'm in CA They have an elevator to get to the upper floor . Inside outside dining.

Yelp
"Once I thought I saw you in a crowded hazy bar Dancing on the light from star to star (Neil Young) On Thursday evening, in the one hour between 5:30 and 6:30 pm, the outdoor dining patio at Gregorio's went from a very sparsely populated tranquil space to a jam-packed crowded party atmosphere with plenty of hooting and hollering. After dinner, when we left the patio to exit through the restaurant proper, the inside dining rooms were just as packed. So, we can deduce that Gregorio's is crazy popular -maybe for their food, pricing, atmosphere, Happy Hour or a combination of things. Our server Brandee was very pleasant and funny and made us feel welcome. She started us off with a nice hunk of sliced Italian bread and a scoop of whipped butter. We went into the Happy Hour menu for two things. The first was a Tossed Salad for sharing at $9.00 with "Green leaf lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrots, red onion, bell pepper, and marinated mushrooms. Served with house red wine vinaigrette". The second was HH Eggplant Parmigiana ($15.00) - "Eggplant fried & layered with cheese & tomato sauce" I went into their regular menu for Shrimp & Calamari ($19.00) - "Sautéed in our arrabbiata. Not breaded or fried!" The salad was very good and the HH portion was plenty for us to split. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her eggplant, but there were some improvement opportunities with the shrimp and calamari. Don't get me wrong, the dish had a lot of really good things going on. First of all, it was served piping hot! The arrabbiata sauce was excellent, with a deep tomato flavor, and plenty of spicy zing, and there must have been 8 ounces of sauce in that dish. It had 5 or 6 big shrimps there that were excellent. The problem was the rubbery calamari rings; they were a real disappointment and echoed some of the worst chewy versions I ever had. I mentioned it to our server, and she said "oh, were they over-cooked? I'll let the chef know". We had a very good time at Gregorio's that sure could have been better....

Yelp
Excellent! We had a pizza for the table (pepperoni with a slight hint of Gorgonzola....delicious!) the calamari was perfect, and maybe one of the best eggplant parm I've had in a long time. Great service all around! We'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Their service is excellent and they have the BEST Meatball Sandwiches and homemade Potato Chips! Whenever I visit Carlsbad, I try to stop in for a Meatball Sandwich!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Gregorio's restaurant and we came to celebrate an out-of-town friend's birthday. The ambience was good and we had a nice view from the outside patio. Being in the heart of Carlsbad Village, there's a lot of foot traffic and you can often enjoy good live music coming from Coyote's Bar. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and overall attentive to our needs. The restaurant was clean despite being in the middle of dinner rush. I feel like there was room for improvement with regards to the food and drinks in general. A couple of us had to have our cocktails sent back because it was subpar and for a fine Italian Eatery, I expected the Eggplant Parm to be better. It was lukewarm and a little overcooked. We all did enjoy the chopped Antipasti salad and Artichoke & Spinach dip. Perhaps we'll give it a second chance at some point.

Yelp
giving it on star because the kids liked the pizza but otherwise terrible experience. Walked in about 7:40pm and got seated right away but server didn't come by for about 10 minutes. Finally put in the drink orders and the kids food (pasta and marinara and a pizza). Then nearly HALF AN HOUR passed by without the server coming back to take our order while other staff just did various things or standing around. We never got to put our order in. Had to get the kids food to go. Sucks because I was looking forward to the food but I don't know if we will be back. If you notice you have one server and a family comes in and just being left unattended, HELP YOUR SERVER! Communicate! Don't leave your guests sitting forgotten. Do better.

Yelp
Really loved this place! The BMGT seriously fantastic - I'm still thinking about it - The atmosphere is really comfortable - I love the Carlsbad Village area this restaurant has outdoor seating - the service was great our waitress had wonderful suggestions nothing disappointed. - the chopped Wedge was awesome -the drinks were fun and strong - the eggplant parm plate was good Check it out and DEFINITELY get the BMGT thin crust well done!

Yelp
We had Gregorio's cater an office event. Service was outstanding and the pesto tortellini with sausage was a huge hit! We will be ordering again!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I remembered the food being amazing at the place, so we decided to go with our kids. My husband's food was great. Some type of creamy pasta with chicken. Kids loved their pizza. I ordered the lasagna. Omg, they put to much ricotta, I couldn't eat it. Who does that? Thank god my husband loves ricotta, as he took it for his lunch the next day. I'm super disappointed. So if you don't like a lot of ricotta, do not order the lasagna, and I love lasagna, when made right. Our waitress was nice and it was otherwise a fun time. Dessert was also delicious.

Yelp
I've never been to Gregorio's, but I'm about to write a review for them. Why? Because I've never been there personally but have ordered Door Dash a few times! I will say, I know sometimes I'm kind of slow, but some of the pictures and descriptions are a little confusing. For example... the Lasagna. It's called Lasagna Four Cheese with meat sauce. The description sounds like it's lasagna with a lot of cheese and a marinara sauce as standard, but you pay extra for the meat sauce? The description says $3 for the meat sauce, but the ordering says it's $5 for meat sauce? Now I personally would have liked to have it without the meat sauce at all, but I don't know man.... That picture is looking pretty meaty there, which would be great for some, but not tor what I was looking for, so I skipped it. Then you have the Gnocchi soup. As you can see from the picture, there is an option for bowl vs cup. Great! I'll order a bowl. But why is the bowl red and the cup is white cream? Soooo many questions . But that's ok I ordered the bowl and hoped it was actually the cream on that showed up, and it was. Whew! My daughter ordered the bolognese and my husband got the Shrimp Aglio y Olio. The soup though? This soup..... I can't even stress enough how deeeeeelicious this soup was. It was so tasty and perfect and if I could have bought a gallon size I would have but at $17.50 for a bowl, it would probably cost a small fortune. Everything else was really delicious too according to my family. Maybe one day we will actually go to the restaurant and see how ambiance is, but in the meantime, I swear I wanted to order more soup this morning.

Yelp
My Friend & I stopped in after dining over at 264 Fresco to have One More Drink each. She had the Kung Fu Girl White Wine I just had a Corona extra with a Lime Wedge The Wait Staff was Great so that helped quite a bit. There was even a LIVE Band for background Music.

Kim M.

Yelp
Always a favorite spot, especially when we have guests in town. Love the Staff, always welcoming. Food & drinks never disappoint!

Yelp
If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant I highly recommend this place. It's located upstairs in the little shopping center, the only downside is the small parking lot that's always full. I would also recommend getting a reservation for busier nights! I ordered the supreme individual pizza which ended up being three meals for me. They loaded the pizza up with veggies and meat, definitely did not skimp out on the toppings. My boyfriend and friends all order the tortellini with pesto and it was amazing. We all loved how creamy the pesto was. They also got the mojitos which were light and refreshing. The calamari was a large service and tasted really fresh and crunchy. The prices for the restaurant were definitely on the higher side for me but the quantity and quality matched it.

Nicky N.

Yelp
This is a fantastic place to get some great Italian food in Carlsbad Village. It has a wonderful patio upstairs with a great view of the village and live music a few times weekly with great performers. The bar is top notch with a fantastic wine selection and the food is always delicious. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Good food. Good service, great portions. We had the chicken parm and it was delicious. The children's portion was pretty big, they had meatball and pasta and the meatball was huge! Out server was nice, knowledgeable and polite. We sat outside, the had heaters so it was perfect. Inside it's kind of small and crowded. Parking sucks on a Saturday moght but well worth trying this place out

Yelp
Gregorio's was great. It was my first time there. We split appetizers and dishes between the whole table: calamari, pizza, and two pasta dishes. Everything was amazing. The complimentary bread at the beginning was served warm and was extremely soft on the inside. What made the dinner great was our server. She was so friendly and made our dinner that much better.
google avatar

Elena B.

Yelp
Move over Vigilucci's, Gregorio's is slaying it in Carlsbad. We were warmly welcomed by Christian, who was extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine menu and made smart recommendations based on our questions. Ordered the house salad with Gorgonzola, chopped; Greg's beesting flatbread; butternut squash ravioli and others. Portions are generous, and the baked Ziti delicious. Food was wonderful and the pre meal bread so soft and tasty. Ambiance isn't glamorous, however, sat out on the clean balcony, perfect evening with a heater, and laughed at the servers T-shirts. Good vibe and kid friendly. Looking forward to going back with the rest of our Italian family and trying the chicken parmigiana.

L G.

Yelp
The most sub par, overpriced pasta experience. The food was not a hit in our experience. Out $100 for two plates of food and a kids pasta. Feels wrong to pay for food you didnt enjoy. Good location and the young lady who helped us were the positives. Although when I shared feedback about my dislike of the bolognese her response was not that of understanding but rather her own affirmation for it.

George B.

Yelp
First, my Moscow Mule arrived in a cocktail glass instead of a chilled copper mug...so wrong! It was also very disappointing, it had bitters in it! Then the bread and veggie antipasto salad arrived which were both really good. It went downhill badly from there. My dinner should be a slam dunk for an Italian restaurant...spaghetti and meatballs. So disappointing...the pasta did not seem to be fresh and the sauce was too watery. The meatball was so dense it was difficult to cut and it lacked any discernible herbs or spices...very bland. My wife ordered the Chicken Limone it came with broccoli that my wife said was overdone and artichokes that see said were a little off. Neither of us finished the meal...and we did not ask for takeout boxes. This was extremely disappointing for us because in the past this was one of our favorites. I don't know if they changed chef's and bartenders, or if they are just cutting corners. We will have to think hard before going back again. There are so many better Italian places in Carlsbad.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Excellent food. I would recommend. I had the gnocchi with spicy red sauce. We had a very large group and they handled us very well. Excellent service.
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Excellent meal here after the music turned out to be too loud at Clara's. Food: typical red sauce Italian, big portions. Not anything mind-blowing but definitely tasty. 4 stars Drink: above-average cocktail menu. Got a traditional Mojito (they also offer a version that has both rum and vodka) and it was tasty. 4.5 stars Service: Coral was an exceptional server. Friendly and efficient. Hooray for Coral! 5 stars Patio: since I'm only eating outside I like a nice patio. They have one section that is more full of tables and also has a partially covered overhead. But we had a table that was separate from the others along the walkway away from the restaurant. Excellent distancing from others and quieter too. 5 stars I had not heard of Gregorio's before we were making a scramble away from where we had planned to eat but I'm very glad we found it. Super option in Carlsbad especially if you want to eat outside. Just keep in mind that parking here can be a little hectic on a weekend night even though there are lots of lots, since there are also lots of people coming to eat at this complex.

Yelp
We have been lucky this restaurant was our second dinner in the San Diego/Carlsbad area and it was also fantastic! Our server was Christian who was super polite, helpful, and very friendly. We ordered: * Chopped garden salad with gorgonzola * Shrimp Spicy Tomato Cream: I would HIGHLY recommend this dish if you like pasta and spicy tomato sauce. It was so very tasty. (My wife and I split the two dishes above and it was plenty of food for us - their portions are very generous). * Kinds spaghetti and meatballs: My son ate the whole dish...they put one meatball which was huge and plenty for a 6 year old. * Sauteed shrimp (off menu): My older son wasn't hungry but wanted shrimp. Our server said they would sautee shrimp, garlic, and butter and his dish was tasty. * The bread is fresh which is awesome to eat before the meal! A note about ambiance - the outside seating is very nice (we didn't sit there but looked nice). We sat inside which was not as nice but perfect if you don't want to wait for the tables outside. The added benefit is that this restaurant has clean restrooms in the restaurants (it is part of a larger shopping structure so some of the stores have shared restaurants but not this restaurant!). I would highly recommend this local spot. Our bill was $119.66
google avatar

Reese H.

Yelp
Five stars incredibly well deserved. We had the risotto with halibut and it was amazing. It's not something they have normally on the menu, but we're happy to prepare it for us. The service with Coral was delightful and professional.
google avatar

Gabster C.

Yelp
Food was good but was expecting maybe some handmade pasta as the dish was $31. The complimentary bread was so good as well.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We just went for wine and live music so we did not eat. But we got plain chicken for our dog and he loved it! Big wine pours. Great and friendly service. The band and location was fantastic!

Ben W.

Yelp
Went here for Mother's Day, excited to try something new in the Village, but unfortunately left very underwhelmed. For an Italian restaurant, you'd expect the pasta to be cooked properly--but mine was undercooked and slightly hard . The overall flavor was bland and forgettable, nothing special. The drinks were decent, but $17 for a basic "Italian cocktail" felt excessive. There's so many good restaurants in a similar price range in the area would recommend
google avatar

Teresa A.

Yelp
Our fav Place! Best service and fun experience-great menu and bring your family! We like to sit at the bar with the attentive service and have appetizers! But you can also order full meals, pizzas, etc. The ambiance is always lit up and fun with heaters in the patio as well. It's our "go-to" in Carlsbad!
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
We came into the relatively empty restaurant with reservations and were given the worst two person table in the restaurant while couples with no reservations got nice 4 person tables. The waitress was nice and service was adequate. The fried calamari was the frozen ring type and was passable but super salty. ($20) The Halibut(catch of the day) was $40 and small square cut pieces that was served on a small skewer. The sausage Cacciatore was pizza sausage thin slices with small shell pasta in a overly thick red sauce(too much tomato paste) and was just plain bad. We skipped desert naturally. Definitely a hard pass on a return.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
One of our most favorite Italian places overall, and a go to when we're in Carlsbad! I don't think we've ever had anything that was bad. Maybe a couple times we were a little disappointed, but overall.... I can just say .... YUMMMM! I highly recommend the eggplant parm! It is divine! Meatballs are delish. I've heard the sausage & peppers are also very good (I don't like onions, so I'm not prone to ordering this). The bread.... I'm wishing I had some right now... Excellent! Christian was our server this last time and was personable and put up with my "over sharing" and wanting to chat. lol The "hostess" that has been there the past couple times, seems not to be very happy at all to be there. That's a shame. Bottom line - highly recommended! Their food is delicious!
google avatar

Earvin F.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was sub-par. Ambiance was upscale but casual & kid-friendly. The kiddos had their own kid friendly menu where Gregorio's cooked their own version of "chicken tenders". Lightly breaded and moist chicken strips sided with in-house potato chips. The Scallop Linguini was definitely full of flavor. Huge servings of scallops with the linguini. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Service had to dock a star as it took some time for our orders to be placed and followed-up on. Overall was a marginal 3.5.
google avatar

Audrey L.

Yelp
I came here with family and we had a really nice time! The service was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and accommodating. The food was really fresh and I love that they have a full bar! The Village has a decent amount of parking available. It was such an enjoyable time, I'd definitely come back!
google avatar

Lora B.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Service was kind of odd in the beginning. It was cold out but we couldn't get a working heater and it took about 20 minutes before someone actually came to fix it. Our server brought us bread but we had 5 people and only 4 pieces of bread so we immediately asked for more. We never got a water refill even though we had empty glasses. I had the Chianti to pair with the baked ziti, which was great. And their happy hour has some great deals. Overall I will be back because the food saved the whole experience, but I hope my service is a little better next time.
google avatar

Linda R.

Yelp
I had the nicest lunch yesterday at Gregorio's with my daughter at 2 PM. I haven't been there for many years and was afraid that somehow it might've changed but it hasn't. It is one of my favorite places to go when I want good Italian food. Rosemary, chicken chop salad was out of this world as well as the chicken Parmesan pizza I'm craving it right now so bad I want to go back.
google avatar

Jan K.

Yelp
My favorite food is Mexican or Italian..... and there are plenty of each here in Carlsbad..... Our first time at Gregorio's.... I gave three stars because the restaurant itself is very clean....tabletops are really pretty ....All The employees are very friendly and helpful....and they have the cutest tee shirts.... I made our reservations thru Yelp, it's very easy and Yelp will also give you a reminder the day of..... Claire was our server, she was very attentive and did a great job!!! We decided to try a couple of different things, my husband ordered an individual pizza.... (It was Big enough for 2) ‍ he said it was good... but not great..... I ordered a bowl of pasta fagioli and a side meatball... they definitely don't skimp on their portions but I believe they need lots more seasoning.....my soup was mostly pasta, carrots & beans.... I added my meatball and that helped but we were very disappointed.....

Carolyn F.

Yelp
We had dinner for my girls for their birthday! We made reservations and Brandee was our waitress. She was so friendly and accommodating. From start to finish we had an amazing time. The food was so good from appetizers to salads and egg plant, lasagna and their homemade pasta. She surprised us we an amazing desert for my girls and everyone sang including Brandee and other servers. We will definitely be back. Everyone is still talking about how much fun we had! Thank you Gregorios and Brandee!

James C.

Yelp
As a longtime visitor I'm very disappointed with my recent visit. While the food and service were good. It was the receipt that I found to be an insult. As usual I tipped 20% after sales tax and I receive a receipt suggesting I didn't tip enough. I don't know if I will be returning but if I do it won't be with a 20% tip.

Melanie S.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant in Carlsbad! The food was delicious!!! Definitely recommend the sangria, spinach and artichoke dip and chicken limone. We will definitely become regulars here now

Yelp
Tomato soup paired with the mozzarella garlic bread + fresh catch on piccata style is the way to go!! Parking can be tough, so give yourself some time.

Yelp
One of the greatest joys in my life has been walking around in a city far from home--be it Rome or Paris or Helsinki or Marrakech or Adelaide or Singapore--and finding an ordinary-looking place to eat that is family-owned and that serves wonderful food. They are out there. So many restaurants in California these days are corporate things. Even restaurants that I like a lot can have 8 or 12 or 20 locations and probably a CEO. Gregorio's is the kind of place that I would be delighted to stumble across in Rome or Naples or Florence. It's not a chain. It is operated by its owners. It serves food that is made the way the owners want to make it, and not the way the Food section of big newspapers say it should be made. I love it. My wife believes that their spaghetti with meatballs is the best restaurant version she has ever eaten. I am partial to the Chicken Piccata and their pizza (especially the pear/gorgonzola pizza and the house ("Gregorio's") pizza. I don't love everything they serve--I haven't eaten everything they serve--but I love what I love and it's enough to bring me back. Oh, also I LOVE the tomato soup. It's probably enough all by itself to bring me back. It's on the 2nd floor above the UPS Store. There is a wide stairway right next to it, and a dingy old elevator over across from the back of Coyote, on the side towards I-5.

Yelp
Love this place. Pasta is always so fresh and atmosphere is perfect. Had a rough week and ordered a meal to go and to my surprise my rewards and my birthday reward covered my meal completely and I walked out of there for free. What a surprise and a perfect meal

Yelp
Meeting friends from Carlsbad for a casual dinner. Party of 10. And we would only dine outdoors (COVID cautious). Gregorio's would reserve a table on the patio for us until 5:30. Not a problem, we could make that work. Besides, that got us there for Happy Hour. Even better! Pamula, our server, was at the table right away to get our drink orders. She then brought fresh bread - more than enough for our large party. She provided spectacular service throughout the meal despite having to juggle at least one other large party on the patio. We started the meal with spinach and artichoke dip appetizer on the HH menu ($12). It came with sliced cucumber and carrots on the side. But I liked it better with their bread. I also got a draft IPA beer on the HH menu ($6). For our main course, we shared a large pizza with mushroom, sausage, and extra cheese ($28). Wow, was that good pizza! Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambiance. We will definitely return the next time we are in Carlsbad.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed. I have had wonderful pasta meals here before. My fiend suggested the pizza so I took my date there. We ordered the pizza. Overpriced and under delivered. I was so embarrassed and I even spoke to my bartender about this. He dismissed me right away. I felt really unheard and I felt like they really didn't care. I'm sorry Greg. Cause I really always liked your past dishes. We are never going there again. Tracy and Christian.

Yelp
Got a pizza to go a couple of weeks ago. Called it in ahead of time and it was ready by the time I got there. The pizza was pear and prosciutto and it was amazing. Overall, I would go back in a heartbeat. The pizza was on the thinner side which is perfect for me.

Yelp
I posted a great review for the eggplant parmesan before as we have been a long time customer for this dish, and we used to drive 30 minutes to get there, but the experience last October, 2024, was not good. The portion got smaller, and the tomato sauce didn't taste the same at all. My husband said, he almost couldn't eat it. Did this restaurant change recently??
