Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

I’ve been to Flying Saucer in Garland many times, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this place. The outdoor seating is right by the lake, making it the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a great meal, and take in the view. Whether you’re here with family, friends, or on a casual date, it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend!

Me and the wife come here often and eat and have a few drinks. They have more beer than anybody around and their food is AMAZING! This time we were waited on by a woman named Sloan, and she is probably the best waitress I have Ever freaking had. She checked on us regularly, was patient when we were undecided on our food order and, was extremely sweet and she deserves a promotion. I hope someone in management sees this.

Location is amazing ; there's only so many lake view patios around here, and yet it seems to be poorly upkept. The amount of spiders on the table and fence line is shocking. Our waiters were attentive and informative. The food was "ok" at best, not something I would think about wanting again. (We got the fish and chips and burger ). The cocktails were alright, a bit on the sweeter side. Again, such a shame since the view is so nice, but I guess it's a decent place for people who want nothing but beer.

Last night we stopped by the Flying Saucer to learn a bit about beer, and they absolutely did not disappoint! Savannah was incredible — truly a master of her craft. Her knowledge and passion for beer were beyond impressive, and she somehow matched me with the perfect one. She completely changed the way I see (and enjoy) beer. Highly recommend!

The restaurant seemed fun and inviting with a great view of the water. We were planning on ordering drinks and dinner. We sat down quickly and got our waters right away. 20 minutes later our waitress had not returned so we were getting up to leave when she appeared. The only reason we stayed at this point was because we told our son we would bring him something home to eat. So we skipped drinks and dinner and just ordered an appetizer and his order to go. Another 20 minutes later we could clearly see our waitress outside taking to two men at a table that wasn’t hers (another waitress brought their food and checked on them while she stood there chatting with the men). We finally asked another waitress if she could find our food. She quickly brought it to our table with forks. The loaded fries had giant hunks of steak that looked delicious but with no knives we had no way to eat them. We won’t be returning. If we had a different waitress who cared more about her job than flirting with men, our experience would probably have been much better.

Loved this cute bar with a great patio! The staff were friendly and answered all our beer questions, the view was awesome too!

We were greetedly warmly by Joe, the bartender. He told us about the specials and helped guide me through my. Her selection. Poured my husband an Eagle Rare and then we got out food! The Honey Dipped Chicken was insanely amazing and the Black & Blue Steak Sandwich was near perfect! Great location on the lake (even though is rainy when we visited) with Bass Pro Shops in the same parking lot! It was a great stop on our road trip and we will stop by on the way back!

Had a nice Rueben sandwich and tator tots. Great lunch spot with a lake view, next to Bass Pro Shops.
