So far so good!
We arrived right at check in time of 3pm. Unfortunately our room was not ready, so our clerk finished our check in, tagged our luggage and stored it, we used the lobby restrooms, and decided to go for a walk and then grab a bite at the Pine Crest Diner just down on the corner (great btw!) with a promise from our clerk to call us when our room was ready. We wandered, ate, killed 1.5 hours, with no call or text from the clerk. We went back to the hotel and our room was ready ~ not a huge deal but the promised notification would have been nice.
We got our luggage and our clerk gave us the run down of the hotel amenities before we went to our room.
The room is great - I was apprehensive about whether we would have a window/view, and we sure do! Looking north with a pretty skyline st night. The room was spotless, everything seemed new and in great working order. Plenty of thick, fluffy towels, a safe, iron, ironing board, keurig, 2 bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, and a robe. The remote was in a bag marked "sanitized". The kimg bed and divan by the window are both comfortable and the pillows are to die for - duck feathers and down.
All in all, a very nice stay for two nights. I held back one star since I felt we should have been comped at least a breakfast for the wait checking in and no call from the clerk, and the windows definitely need a good scrubbing on the outside.
Parking is spendy - we used the O'Farrell public self park around the corner for a better deal and just hauled our suitcase around the corner with us. I think its $38/day.
We might stay here again - but would definitely compare prices and make sure it is the best deal.
