Where To Eat & Drink In St. Louis - The Infatuation

"Located inside a former car showroom from 1916, The Fountain on Locust is a great spot for a casual lunch or weeknight dinner. But either way, make sure you finish your meal with one of their ice cream cocktails. If you do come for lunch, the french onion roast beef melt and Polish dill pickle soup are two things you should try, along with an egg cream. Between the art deco murals and diner counter, it’s hard to tell which era The Fountain belongs in. But regardless, it’s worth checking out." - jen maylack

Saw a review by the post dispatch on TikTok so decided to try it out before going to the Fox Theater. They did not disappoint! Cool art deco vibe, really nice helpful staff. The website allowed us to make a reservation online, but it turns out they don’t do reservations on Saturday afternoon no worries, we got sat at the bar This turned out to be the best place to sit because we got to watch them make all of the Sundays and other ice cream creations, so much for the eye to see! We shared the hummus with pita bread, My husband had the corn chowder soup. It was amazing. I snuck a taste. I had the Gouda grilled cheese and a cup of their fall harvest soup also delicious! We couldn’t stay long enough for dessert, but I did start my meal with an orange sherbet mocktail, highly recommend. This is a must try restaurant in St. Louis and it turns out it’s walkable from the Fox Theater, which was great, allowed us to park, walk down have our lunch and walk back in time for the Saturday matinee.

My friend took me here finally and it felt like a hidden gem. They have so many drink and food options. The interior is fun and has a great vibe. Any occasion: girls night, date, or family outing. Our waiter was so friendly and made it feel like he was just hanging out with a friend. I got the pesto chicken sandwich and it was a perfect 10/10. The ice cream flight was also really good. Overall it was a great experience and I cannot believe it took me this long to come here. I will definitely be coming back.

Google
Fun atmosphere, really good food - and the ice cream, of course, was amazing. Waitress was very kind, attentive and helpful. They have a lot of fun adult beverages but also plenty of regular ice cream options for the kids too. 🍦 🍨 It is pricey if you eat and do ice cream, but for an occasional treat I think it is worth it.

We came in for dessert about an hour before closing. We were greeted and seated immediately. Cute place inside. The food looked good. So my husband and I shared the Late Night Delight. It was fantastic and a boozy. This place has adult ice cream as well as being family friendly. I definitely would recommend this for family or couples. If it's your birthday they will shower you with bubbles 🫧.

Google
They have a gluten-free menu. The dill pickle soup was amazing. It had a potato base but tasted just like a dill pickle. I also had a delicious chicken pesto open-faced sandwich on gluten free bread. It is so rare to find a restaurant with gluten free bread. I always try to get a sandwich.

Fountain on Locust - A Sweet Savior! Our initial plan was a fancy ice cream treat at the Soda Fountain in Union, but after being completely ignored, we decided to try the Fountain on Locust instead – and boy, are we glad we did! This place was amazing from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean and had a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was so kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. But let's talk about the ice cream! It was exactly the "not your normal scoop in a cone" experience we were hoping for. From a classic Sunday to an over-the-top banana split and a perfect root beer float, everything was fantastic. My daughter's milkshake was particularly impressive – they even brought over the extra that wouldn't fit in her cup! Was it a lot? Absolutely. Did we devour every last bit? You bet! It was simply too delicious to leave behind. To top it off, it was only a quick 7-minute drive from the other place. If you're looking for a truly special ice cream experience with wonderful service, skip the rest and head straight to the Fountain on Locust. You won't be disappointed!

Google
Great yummy food! The Honor Before Death drink was amazing, the grilled cheese had so much yummy cheese on it and the peanut butter ice cream was absolutely amazing

Google
This place is magical. My husband is a vegetarian and I am not, and we were both in heaven with the menu. Came in on a Saturday around 9:30pm and got seated and served immediately. The service was incredible and the vibes immaculate. I would return to St. Louis just to eat here again, that’s how much we loved it!

Yelp
Atmosphere is unique and very fun. Server was attentive and informative, very friendly. Food absolutely awesome! Best ice cream in town!

Yelp
The Fountain on Locust is, simply put, a gem. Located in a safe area of Downtown STL, there's street parking and underground parking, along with public transportation to get you here. We came at 8pm and didn't feel unsafe whatsoever. When you step into the Fountain, it feels like you're stepping foot into Cesar's Palace or The Venetian. Painted blue walls with intricate designs line the building, and wooden booths along with diner-style tables make up the dining room. It's actually a former Stutz auto show room! The service was excellent-- our server was both honest and engaging. She wasn't afraid to tell us what she liked and didn't like on the menu, which helped us make our decisions. The menu is smaller but loaded with interesting dishes & classic staples. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which is loaded with apples and orange cream cheese. I also ordered a Broccoli soup. Others ordered a variety of sandwiches and salads that they all loved. You can't forget dessert here! They have a variety of ice cream and soda flavors, along with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with playful names and bold flavors! Everyone loved their desserts, and my cousin loved the espresso martinis. I would recommend adding Marshmallow Sauce to the ice cream-- yum! Definitely impressed with this place, and it wasn't too expensive. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
The Fountain on Locust is a delightful restaurant and ice cream shop in the heart of St. Louis City. It offers and intimate that feels like you have been transported to a different time period in Saint Louis. The star of the Fountain ice extensive ice cream menu ranging from the creative ice sundae cream combinations to signature ice cream martinis. Anyone going to the Fountain is sure to find an ice cream concoction that is creative and delicious. The staff at the the Fountain also genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. A favorite of mine is to request "the gambler" where the staff creates there own ice cream fusion and create something completely using their own creativity. For as good as the ice cream is at the Fountain, I find that I don't love the food menu. I have tried the "Royal Grille" and found that the mixture of cheeses and apples to be overwhelming and not for me. When I go to the Fountain I tend to just go for the ice cream, which has never failed to make me extremely satisfied.

Yelp
It seems appropriate to have my first review of 2025 go to one of the best places in STL- The Fountain on Locust! I made a reservation for my friends and I to meet for lunch on NYE, when we arrived, our table was ready and the hostess and server worked together to make sure we had water on the table as well as menus and silverware. Simone was our server, and they were so helpful and friendly. When we heard the specials for the day, the chicken and dumplings soup sounded amazing a the way Simone described it sold all of us on ordering a cup of soup with our meals. In fact, the soup was so good that I ordered a quart to go so that my sick hubby could have something warm and hearty to eat while he was in bed fighting a cold. Even he agreed that the soup was the best ever! I legit need to learn this recipe because it's all I am thinking about today. For my entree, I ordered the mixed salad sandwich which is served on a warm and toasted French bread and it was so delicious. I usually order the royal grill, so this is now my next go-to sandwich and I will recommend this to everyone! I did not ask for chicken to be added to the sandwich, but that is an option if you would like to have protein added. But since I had the soup, I just wanted to enjoy the sandwich as intended. And again, it was so good, that I brought another one home so that I could eat it again for dinner! My friends and I also finished our meals with an ice cream martini which were all so tasty and delicious! I really could have enjoyed at least 2-3 more, but the one I had was just perfect as a way to end the meal. Overall, the food was delicious (as always) and the service was great and everyone was so friendly. Seriously, I just love this place so much and cannot wait to go back again. And I hope they have that chicken and dumplings soup because I will make sure to order a bowl next time and you should to!

Yelp
I've been to Fountain a few more times since my last visit and I'm super impressed. I crave the pickle soup all the time and you can't beat their soup and salad combo. They have SO many drinks it's hard to chose just one but ever single one I've had has been great. Great service and always a fun vibe.

Yelp
Cute spot in STL, very whimsical! We were greeted immediately when we walked in and asked if we were there for a meal or dessert - we came for dessert, ice cream specifically. We were seated in a booth and a waitress came over a short time after to take our order - she explained that there was a seasonal option available that day that was vanilla ice cream made with candied almonds, and salted caramel ribbons; both hubby and I sampled it. After, I knew that that would be part of my order, along with a scoop of strawberry... the ice cream was SOOOO delicious - not too sweet, creamy but not too soft and it didn't have any ice crystals nor did it melt too quickly. I finished every bite! I forgot to note that while we waited for our ice cream, I was intrigued by the eclectic designs painted on the walls and ceiling as well as the other neat relics in this place. Also, our waitress was a darling! Great experience overall!

Yelp
I ate at a lot of places in St Louis and Branson during my trip and this place was, by far, my favorite! The decor inside was beautiful and the staff was super knowledgable and friendly. I noticed a lot of people in the restaurant were there only for dessert but we went for the whole shebang. To be honest, the whole reason why I wanted to try this place was for the Dill Pickle Soup. I am a Pickle lover and I have made my own Dill Pickle soup so I wanted to compare it with mine. Mine is more tangy, pickle forward. This one is more potato forward and thick. I really enjoyed it more potato forward and I am going to try that with mine next time. I will say I thought about this soup for the rest of my trip; it was so delicious. I also got the side of Pasta salad with it which was good; a typical cold style pasta salad. My husband got the 'The Champion' for his entree which was a classic meatball sub. He absolutely loved it and he said the meatballs were so flavorful. The waitress did state that the meatballs were made in house; you can tell. For dessert, my husband got the 'Gooey Butter Cookie' with a scoop of just basic Vanilla ice cream. He loved it. He said it was a great size; it was on the smaller size but he was full so it was perfect size for him. I got the 'Snowballs with Raspberry Sauce'. It was their Vegan Vanilla ice cream snowballs covered in coconut, in raspberry sauce. I am not Vegan but I will try anything and the Vegan Vanilla is wayyyy more creamy than the regular. It is made with Coconut Milk. I noticed right away it was more creamy. The waitress advised that a lot of customers do prefer the Vegan Vanilla to the regular Vanilla. My husband could not tell the difference however. I would 100% be back if I was in the area and I would highly recommend a whole meal there; not just dessert!

Yelp
I had a lovely lunch at The Fountain on Locust with family. We had a large group but they were able to accommodate us quickly and seat us together. We started with a round of ice cream martinis that were to die for! I got the Orange Dreamsicle Martini that tasted amazing, just like an orange creamsicle. Since the base was ice cream, it was thick and creamy. Excellent flavor! For lunch, I ordered the Fig, Ham & Gouda Grilled Cheese: House-made fig spread and sliced ham topped with melted gouda cheese served on whole grain wheat bread. The sandwich was not my favorite at first, but when I scraped off some of the fig spread, I enjoyed it much more! I had a tasty pasta salad on the side. Overall, great experience! Our waiter was friendly and the space was so fun to visit. Worth a trip for a martini and to see the amazing artwork on the walls!

Yelp
DEFINITELY WORTH GOING HERE if you are in St Louis. Super interesting menu, great cocktails, awesome food and the service crushed it. (Thank you Bridget!!). Had some time before flying back to Denver and decided to hit a cool place for lunch. The Fountain in Locust was one of the highest rated and for a reason. Worth an out of your way Uber ride for sure. Bridget our server had great recommendations and helped us navigate to big menu) I had The Equinox (a twist on a margarita) and it was outstanding. Frankly way better and more interesting than a margarita. My wife had the Persphone which had coconut rum and other stuff. Great. (Ok so yea we were drinking at lunch. It was 1:30 on a Sunday after a wedding weekend....). Started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip with pita. WOW. Like if buffalo chicken cheesy chili decided it would be a. Dip. Not a light dish, but wow super tasty. With the heavy app, we split the Cuban sandwich and it was great. Got the beef stroganoff soup as a side - 2 thumbs up. Finished off with a scoop of Coconut almond and a scoop of the decadent Zanzibar chocolate ice creams. Now on the way to the airport and my wife is literally a sleep next to me. SO WORTH IT!

Yelp
This had been one of my favorite places for over a decade (we originally came to visit one of the "best bathrooms in America lol), mainly because they have the same weird food combos I love, like the Royalle Grill which is a grilled cheese with apples! Their ice cream is also super good and they have the best combos for sundaes. This time was the first time however I went in a more adult capacity by having drinks and splitting a meal, and holy moly did the ice cream martinis NOT disappoint. In fact, my friend and I have now made a challenge for ourselves to try every one on the menu! So if you're looking for a cute little place to have great conversation over even better food, drunks and desserts, the Fountain on Locust is it!

Yelp
Such a fun spot! Super cute inside with all the art deco details. Wait staff were friendly - Simone was a doll. This weekend (2/1-2) was 'Ice Cream for Breakfast' weekend and many servers were on theme in cute PJs. Two in my party had chocolate shakes. The extra shake they brought inside the mixing cup nearly filled their glasses again. Others had the Mudslide martinis, brownie-in-a-cup cake, and sundaes. I rolled the dice getting 'The Gambler' where they make what they want. It was insanely decadent. I started to forget what was in it when she was listing the ingredients because there were so many. Will definitely go back again!

Yelp
I found this place when I typed in "Unique Places for Lunch ins STL" and it was great. I am a soup person and had two of their three soups and they were great. I loved the decor since I am a huge art deco fan. My biggest regret was not trying one of the ice cream cocktail desserts. Definelty make sure to save room for dessert!
google avatar

Deanna S.

Yelp
Different but good! The menu is full of choices so you can find options for any taste buds. We were a party of 8 but they accommodated us pretty quickly and we had plenty of space. The dim lighting and decor gave the dining room a cool vibe after dark but it was still light enough to not struggle seeing the menu. There was not one complaint from us in regard to food, drinks or sweets!!! I will surely be going back!

Yelp
Had been seeing this place pop up on Yelp for a while so we decided to try them out after a show at the Fox. The aesthetic was amazing. The wooden booths, old school malt shop vibe was very nice. It's like you stepped in a Time Machine. We only had apps and drinks, getting the Buffalo Chicken dip and spinach dip during happy hour. The Buffalo chicken dip was really good, not too spicy but just enough kick. I make this dish quite often so to see a restaurant get it right was very pleasing to me. My friend enjoyed the spinach dip, it was alright to me, could use a tad of seasoning. I also had the rose floats with sherbet I think it was really refreshing. I'd def come back here again and try the food. Our waitress was really nice and attentive also.
google avatar

Kate L.

Yelp
I'd argue this is the best espresso martini in STL! They have an option to add in a scoop of ice cream! You have to try it. Absolutely delicious
google avatar

Vineela S.

Yelp
We decided to try this place out with a group of friends and had a lovely time! The highlight of our meal was definitely the dessert. I ordered the brownie in a cup and it was rich and decadent. The brownie was nice and warm and had delicious fudge on top of it. I also subbed the vanilla ice cream for chocolate. Would recommend for any chocolate lover out there. For my meal, I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. The sandwich was definitely on the bland side and needed more sauce or something else to give it more flavor. The Mac and Cheese was a little dry for my liking, but the overall taste of it was great.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner Mother's Day weekend & so glad we did! We stopped by after a Fox show which was so convenient because it's super close & just down the road. They had super fun Mother's Day specials, along with a free "world smallest cone" ice cream for moms! Our waitress was super efficient from grabbing all our orders to the drinks we ordered! This spot was smaller than I had thought but it still seated our group of 6! If you're an espresso martini fan, make sure to check out their ice cream martinis! You can't go wrong here.

Yelp
TLDR: Overall, 3/5 stars, food could've been better. Desserts are decent, but wouldn't come back here for savory options. Came here because of the award-winning soups, but wasn't sure I fully believe it after dining here. Service was a bit slow, and I saw several tables around me confused because the server had brought out the wrong thing for their table. The ambience was unique and reminded me of a old-school diner, but more colorful. Fig, ham, and Gouda grilled cheese: This was a very average grilled cheese. I thought the fig could've been more fun, but the flavor was very muted and didn't think it added much to the sandwich. Laclede's Cajun Penne Alfredo: It's kinda what you would expect from an alfredo. There wasn't anything really special about it, and it delivered exactly what it offered. Tender and juicy chicken that was relatively well-seasoned. Poblano and corn: I love poblano and corn, but felt like this didn't deliver. I feel like the texture was a little bit odd in the soup form, and the seasoning itself didn't hit as it should. Bearcat: the fudge was probably the best part, and the ice cream was rich. I think this was probably the best part of the meal. I would come back to try their other desserts too, but not their savory foods.

Yelp
What a time! The Fountains on Locust hosted an event so I made two visits in one day. A late lunch and then dessert with the family. Recently the Fountains on Locust was named one of the Top Places to Drink. So a seasonal cocktail was a must during the lunch hour. I enjoyed the Blackberry Telecaster. The fresh blackberries and lemon 100% added to the taste of the cocktail. The pomegranate vodka and limoncello was a generous serving. I'm working on eating outside of my comfort zone. This is the place to do it because if there are ingredients that are generally not your go to the multiple items on a salad, sandwich, or entree will assist in your enjoyment of the dish but allow you to get other foods that are good for you that some people (me) may avoid. In my dish that would have been the fig in the sandwich or the pecans, and goat cheese in the salad. I'm here to say l ate every bite because everything blended just fine. The dessert hour did not have to be so good! RICH! Can I have just the brownie? It did not need fudge, ice cream, or whipped cream to meet expectations. I switched the vanilla ice cream to chocolate. Fantastic dessert. We also ordered the world's smallest ice cream cone (so cute).

Yelp
Friendly waiters and delicious food. The drinks are like getting a gift, even if you do have to pay for them.
google avatar

Jodi R.

Yelp
Unfortunately the first impression with the host was not good. She was chomping on gum and rolled her eyes and the only thing she said was "follow me", and then just walked away. Not the best way to start. The dill pickle soup was great! I wish it was hotter but the flavor was enjoyable. I can see why it's famous! The rest of the food was mediocre but I know they're known for their ice cream, obviously. We got the world's smallest cone and the espresso ice cream was one of the best! It was very busy in there for an hour before closing, but it was casual and we were in and out!

Yelp
If I was to put together a list of "Top 25 STL food jonts to visit," this would definitely be on it! Super friendly and attentive service. I noticed everyone worked together as a team. Awesome to see! Love the design and atmosphere that surrounds you. So many details from the bar design, paint, lighting, bathrooms, etc. love it! Came here for dessert with the adult family after a show at Jazz STL. We had a blast. What we ordered: - Banana Bourbon (4.75/5) GET THIS! So stinking amazing. Loved the flavors. Next time I am going to ask for some nuts. - Two Scoops in a cone (4.25/5): excellent ice cream. Cone was big, but tasted standard. Still good. - Mississippi mudslide (4/5): Tasted excellent. A bit boozy. Would get this again, but gotta be careful with this one. - voodoo daddy (4.5/5): my favorite ice cream martini so far. Loved the flavor combo! If you haven't been? GO NOW!

Yelp
Fun spot to stop in for lunch! First time visit and I brought my 10 year old niece who is known to be a picky eater...this got her stamp of approval! There was a bit of a wait as we came in at the tail end of a lunch rush on a Saturday but it didn't take long for a table to open up. My niece had a lemonade and grilled cheese. I went for the cup of soup and salad. The signature soup is a Polish Dill Pickle soup and was delish! I am a big fan of dill and liked the tang it gave to the creamy soup. I went with a St. Louis City salad with chicken. It came with Dijon vinaigrette that was a little too oily for my tastes but was otherwise a solid salad. For dessert we shared a sundae with mint and chocolate ice creams with fudge sauce. Both ice cream flavors were on point and rich in flavor!

Yelp
A spur of the moment decision lead us to The Fountain on Locust! It was my first time there and I know I will be back. Lovely painted murals in rich, royal colors decorated the walls and ceilings of this St. Louis restaurant. There was plenty of booths and table for seating. The menus had a variety of starters, soups, salads and sandwiches as well and their signature ice cream martinis along with many other drink offerings. My choose was the chocolate Framboise martini as suggested by our super waitress and it was so delicious! Prices were affordable and the service was great. Parking was on the street and we found a place not too far away. I can't wait to try more items from their menu! They have a full pickle soup that is a signature item I need to try!

Lana H.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to take our out of town guests. They are always impressed. Not only is the food excellent (try the dill pickle soup and the cuban sandwich) but the decor is artistic and fun!

Catherine S.

Yelp
I love the world smallest ice cream cones! ... I've had other ice cream, and i can tell you the selections I've had were all good! Enjoy!

Yelp
The Fountain on Locust was voted St. Louis' favorite date night spot. (Also, best bathroom in St. Louis.) Save room for dessert! The Late Night Delight has pineapple cake topped with Coconut Almond Joy, Butter Pecan and Vanilla ice creams, then drizzled with warm buttered bourbon sauce, brûléed bananas, whipped cream, candied orange peel, and a single chocolate coin. Besides dessert, try some of their new fall drinks and dishes:*Tea Time Twist: house-infused Earl Grey bourbon, orange peel & bitters *Cider Sipper: brandy, apple cider, lemon, bubbly *Flaming Tomato Tango: baked goat cheese and spice tomato dip *Fig Ham & Gouda Grilled Cheese *French Onion Roast Beef Melt *Autumnal Chick Pea and Squash Soup (vegan + gluten-free) This is the perfect place for lunch, dinner, dessert, or any special occasion!

Yelp
Always have great food and fun servers. I have a picky eater and they always find something they like while I get to have something different like their grilled ham and gouda sandwich with fig jam. I highly recommend the dill pickle soup. Lastly there's no end to the options for dessert.

Yelp
This place is a St. Louis staple! Came here with two girlfriends on the weekend and had a blast. Got a fancy martini followed by a combo dinner with half a sandwich and half a salad which was delicious. They also have mini sized sundaes and ice cream comes - at 1.50$ a piece, super cute! Got seated fairly quickly on a Saturday night and had a great waiter who was interactive and friendly!

Yelp
Driving through St. Louis and looking for a quaint, independently-owned restaurant to stop at, so I turned to my local Yelpers and they did not disappoint! The Fountain appears to be located in an up-and-coming area looking to bring back the charm and history of the area. Service was top notch and the food was even better. The special was a beef stroganoff soup and chicken salad sandwich. My husband got the beef stroganoff and devoured it. For my part, anytime someone puts "chicken salad" and "croissant" in the same sentence I am sold. I got it with a side of the famous birdseed salad which, true to its name, should be famous. And it was topped with this delicious caramelized apple slice. Food was also quick to come out and beautifully presented. I will tell all my friends about this place!

Yelp
Yes, yes and yes!!! This is probably one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been to and likely the coolest in St. Louis for sure. The service was outstanding! Every single person who works there was pleasant. The overall vibe was super fun. It's different but it's fun! Everything we had was fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about the ice cream martinis. My husband and I got 3 each so we could get 6 different flavors-with absolutely no shame in admitting that- and they were all spectacular! Next time I'm in St.Louis you better believe I will be back!

Yelp
Great place for a decadent dessert or afternoon snack. We dined during happy hour so ice cream martinis were a few $ off. The coffee ice cream is so good! And so was the bananas foster sundae but be ready for a sugar coma after. This is a family friendly diner and there were a few screaming kids at the table next to us, unfortunately. The paintings on the wall and decor is really nice and worth a visit. Walk about 5 mins after eating at Pappy's but be prepared to have to be rolled out.

Yelp
A friend and I stopped by for dinner on a Friday night before an event nearby. There was a bit of a wait, I'm guessing because of staffing since there were several open tables. The host added me to their waitlist and said I would get a text when our table was ready. After waiting outside for the 30 minutes we were advised it would be, I still hadn't gotten a text so we went back inside to see how much longer it would be and apparently they forgot to text me since our table had been ready for a bit. However, once we were seated, service was wonderful. We each ordered one of their ice cream martinis and a sandwich with their famous dill pickle soup. We got our drinks in just a couple of minutes and the food didn't take much longer. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Who doesn't love the fountain? It's a St Louis treasure for sure. Whether you go for drinks or a meal it's a great choice! Very kid friendly also. The pickle soup is so good!! Service is always top notch and the vibe is the coolest. Try the world's smallest ice cream cone too. It's adorable. All kinds of boozy ice cream drinks!

Yelp
Had a craving for a sundae and I've been wanting to try this place so decided to stop in. I made a sundae with their seasonal flavor lemon cheesecake, vegan vanilla, hot caramel and graham crackers. It was delicious!!!! I didn't order any food so I'll have to come back to try something but if anything I will definitely be back for the sundae!! My partner tried the vegan vanilla, hot fudge and strawberry sauce and he loved it! The vegan vanilla was pretty good and had a very light coconut after taste which I didn't hate. I also love how many ice cream, float and dessert options they have. If you haven't stopped in definitely give them a try!

Yelp
My first time going over the weekend and I'm more than satisfied! The customer service was GREAT, the food and drinks were exceptional.. not to mention the food came out fast and hot! We ordered a variety of different things. My boyfriend ordered a classic (non dairy) chocolate martini. It was alright but if you like hard drinks and are lactose intolerant then go for it lol I ordered the Toblerone (pictured below) and it was amazing. As for food we ordered the pesto chicken w/ chips. For desert the pineapple inside out with vanilla ice cream and the fudge brownie. Sorry I didn't post a picture, it was gone FAST lol We took home the pecan clusters which were also good, not the best but satisfying. Prices are great! Total bill came out to $57! Wow! I'll definitely be going back and I definitely recommend. It's a nice casual, family friendly environment, reasonably priced and in a good area. It gets crowded fast in the afternoon. Just an FYI

Yelp
Cute little spot a block away from my airbnb. I placed an order online, then walked over to pick it up. It was ready quickly. The salad was great! I also enjoyed the chicken buffalo dip with pita bread. 4 stars instead of 5 because you pay for chicken and don't get much for the cost. Still delicious overall, fast and friendly take out order.

Yelp
I chose this restaurant as a dinner for our family during our little vacation. This place has super eclectic decor with cozy snugs for some of the patrons while having regular tables for others. The menu is half ice cream, desserts, and alcohol. But the smaller menu of the food is Eclectic but yet classic American fair. Our waiter Andrew was really great with us and tolerant of my 12-year-old hyper child and they even loved the artichoke dip and dill pickle soup that we ordered.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for directing us to one of the best choices of our trip! We had the s'mores sundae and a perfectly crafted adult beverage. The number of choices that gave an option of a vegan ice cream made me forget I can't have regular ice cream. Love love love that we stopped here.

Yelp
We stopped in before a show. They were busy but easily accommodated us. This place is very nicely decorated in 1950's style. Very cool bathrooms. The food is always good. The desserts are spectacular! We did have a gluten free person at the table. There was confusion with their order but it was corrected quickly. This is why 4 star and not 5.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, the food- especially the black cherry Cadillac sundae and the service.

Yelp
Came here with some friends and we only came for dinner so no desserts to comment about. We got the Symphony Platter to share which was delicious and was a great starter for the 3 of us. We also got sodas and we all enjoyed those as well. My friends also got their signature dill pickle soup and they both said it was great and not too pickle-y. I personally wouldn't recommend their Laclede alfredo just because the sauce was very watery and the only seasoned thing was the chicken. I'm sure if you were coming for just the desserts and sodas, definitely worth checking out. It wasn't busy at all around dinner time and was service was ok.

Yelp
Went there for a Yelp! Thank You Thursday event, and I'm so glad I did! The event was held upstairs, and the customer service, and the decor, instantly give you a very comfortable feeling. The refreshing cocktails were delicious! I had a couple of Fred Nogs ! After the event, I decided to eat downstairs, which was another great decision. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and funny (Thx Celeste and Brynne)! I had the Cuban and chips which were rather tasty. It was my first time here, but I will be returning.

Yelp
The service was excellent our waitress was very helpful with going over menu items and specials. The lentil soup special this day was absolutely delicious! The Cuban was also amazing. And I couldn't pass up the worlds smallest sundae. They let you pick what flavor ice cream you want. Perfect end to a meal without over stuffing! The things I didn't like: they are very cocktail forward and have limited wine and beer options. The wine we got wasn't great at all. So be prepared if you want something outside of a martini / cocktail. The pickle soup was more of a consistency of a relish not a soup. I LOVE pickles, cucumbers & dill so I was excited to try this soup. Unfortunately it was a huge let down.

Yelp
Yum, yum, & yum! Decisions, decisions, decisions...They have precreated ice cream desserts or you can build your own. The fudge sauce was the perfect balance of rich & sweet. The ice cream was creamy & the portions perfect! Came here for a late night ice cream treat with the family. Next time, we will have dinner too! Great vibe and excellent service. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. We will be back!!!
