Paul is great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. We've bought 3 large pieces of furniture here and they're all beautiful and built to last. If you want something unique for your home, this is the place. You can spend a couple hours in here, so much to see!

Super amazing if you like wood working. They have so many different items to choose from either for your home or for a business. I would return for sure.

What an amazing store! We bought several pieces to stage a home, sold the home to the first showing - providing we included those pieces, they didn’t want any of the other furniture! Needless to say we went back and bought pieces for our forever home. Guests ask where we got such unique pieces. Paul and the team are great to work with. We absolutely love Washburn Imports in Orlando! This store is a treasure trove of unique and stunning furniture pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. We visited multiple times to find the perfect additions for our home, and each visit was an amazing experience. Paul went above and beyond to help us—he even stayed after hours to answer our questions about a few pieces we were considering. His expertise and assistance made the process seamless, and he ensured our selections were delivered quickly. We ended up finding an incredible Indian sideboard, buffet, and coffee table that perfectly complement our decor. If we had more space, we’d fill our entire home with even more of the amazing items Washburn Imports offers. I only visited Washburn Imports once, but the place stuck with me. The owner was incredibly cool and easy to talk to, and you could tell right away that he handpicks everything himself. The furniture didn't feel random or thrown together. Each piece looked like it had its own personality. There was a carved cabinet that felt almost regal, a chunky table that seemed like it could survive anything, and these little decorative pieces that looked like they'd been collected with intention, not just ordered out of a catalog. You get the sense that the inventory has traveled more than most people. The bar in the back wasn't open when I stopped by because I was there earlier in the day, but he explained the schedule. The Imperial Bar opens Wednesday through Sunday in the evenings, usually starting around 5 pm. So daytime has this calm, treasure-hunt vibe, and nighttime turns the place into a cozy little hangout tucked inside a furniture store. It's one of those spots where one visit makes you feel like you stumbled onto something special.

What a fun little place! I want to hear some friends of mine play live music there! The entertainment was great, the selections of beer was very good, and the service was outstanding. What more could you ask for?? Try this place you'll love it!!!!

Extremely friendly bartender, & extremely fun to walk around & look at the furniture for sale. It's all for sale. I really liked the hanging lights & armoires. Lots of tables & chests of drawers for storage for sale. I went twice that night. The super friendly bartender was nice, quickly giving me water & a beer sample. They have great choices. Later I tried their hummus with pita bread. What made it extra delicious was that the Kalamata olives were warmed up. Briny goodness wasn't appreciated as much by me as when I tried them warmed up there. It really makes a difference. There was live entertainment playing music & a large fun crowd. I think the kitchen closed at 10pm & the place was open maybe till midnight.

Located in Ivanhoe you'll find vintage items, antiques, old, charming...lots of white washed wood furniture, and repurposed furniture from around the world. Lots of decor items, as well. This shop is cool. It's like a museum, but you can touch things. Bringing kids here while shopping would be okay. Talk to the owner. He'll tell you about his treasures. Worth a stop. And while there, have a glass of wine from the wine bar in the rear of the shop which is surrounded by more furniture.

This place is truly unique. We were looking for a very specific piece- a small, glass front book case. We found exactly what we wanted and Paul pulled out the case so we could look at it detail. He told us the history of the item, where I was made and even gave us a discount. Excellent service, unique handmade item, good deal- could not be happier! Highly recommend for unique furniture and home decor.

If you are looking for really interesting, beautiful, and unique furniture and home decor pieces, this is the place to come. I wish I could furnish my whole house from here lol. There's also a bar inside which is pretty cool!

AKA Imperial Wine Bar. Such a wonderful find in the Lake Ivanhoe area. Someone brought me here a year ago. Now I go in as often as possible with friends and still love the experience. Consistently courteous staff and well chosen wine / beers available. A unique spot that is antique and eclectic furniture store masquerading as a wine n beer bar. How amazing is that!?! Oh and there's a great patio at the Orange Ave location. Five minutes from downtown and about 40 minutes from Disney. Happy hour has $5 glasses of wine and beer specials too. If you're closer to the east side, there's one in Sanford too. I've only been to that location once. But, again a wonderful experience.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous...I LOVED everything in there. Beautifully presented shop with rows and rows of Indian, Bali style furniture, all restored and eclectic style.....right up my alley. If I could scrap all my furnishings n furniture in my home and start again with an unlimited budget, I could spend a fortune in here. Also to be noted inside was a very cute bar area, where you can drink of an evening....

5 Stars for unique furniture and decorative pieces from India and Southeast Asia, lovingly restored or repurposed, and ready for an eclectic home. I've completely furnished my imaginary dream home in pieces from Washburn on many occasions, but this time was different. This time I had a real home. And a big girl budget. And mama was ready to shop. And by that I mean ready to buy one piece because big girl money only goes so far. First thing I'd suggest is following them on Instagram. That's where I found out they were honoring the pre-Memorial Day Sale prices a couple of days early (if you mentioned the post). It was brilliant. Everything 20-70% off. When I walked in, Paul introduced himself after a few minutes of browsing. He was incredibly informative and made sure to stick close by in case we needed assistance. And most of that assistance came in the form of a price check. Since the sale hasn't "officially" started yet, he brought around a calculator to figure out the discount. And then I found her. The table I was born to own. She had been there a while, so the markdown was good. Paul helped me set up a scheduled pickup for the weekend and was a real pleasure to talk to. He often goes to India to source the furniture and seems to recognize each one. Overall it's a great place to buy a statement piece. And grab a wine in the bar attached.

Stepping into Washburn Imports it's like stepping into another world!!! You are instantly transported into exotic world of Indian and Indonesian furniture and accessories. You can find the most incredible reclaimed pieces, beautiful teak organic pieces, incredible vIi rage architectural pieces out of buildings, gates vintage doors. Anyone of these pieces will create an incredible focal point in your home.... Whether you buy a console to turn into fabulous vanity in your master bathroom or a set of gates for your your secret garden. They have the most incredible Bollinese Stone statues of Buddhis and Indian Ganeshesha !!! You have to go and a siend an enchanting hour in this store!! The most amazing thing is that at night it turns into one of the most incredible bars on ivanhoevillage. It becomes the imperial wine bar with some of the best life music in town! So as you can see this is a place you must come and see for yourself!

Same owners of the Washburn Import in Sanford, Fl and filled with just as many treasures and a Bar that opens at 5:00 PM. They carry an incredible variety of imported oddities. This is the type of place you must take your time to appreciate all the artistry and workmanship. I'm sure I would not want every piece in my house to be of this design or theme but I'm also sure at some point I will find that special piece that will grab me and I will take it home. If you're looking for that one of a kind unique piece chances are you'll find it here. The main showroom overflows into a bar just as idiomatic. I can't walk by this shop without stopping in, the inventory is ever changing and the staff has exceptional knowledge and each piece has a story.

One of my girlfriends mentioned that they we're having a "sidewalk sale," and since I've been on he hunt for a linen cabinet for my bathroom for a few months, I decided to join her checking it out. What a cool place! I've passed by it before but never stopped in as I'm not usually into antiques or that time of furniture. I like the looks but I'm more of a modern style kind of person. Walking in was like a sensory overload! There were so many cool decorative pieces and furniture items, I didn't know where to look first. I wanted one of everything and wanted to redecorate every room in my house! Haha! My friend bought a supercool cabinet - it had drawers, cabinet space and open areas and had a distressed wood turquoise finish. John, the owner, gave her a great deal on it! I ended up finding my linen cabinet at 50% off and then found the most beautiful mirror I've ever seen and splurged on this item. It is 7 - 8 feet long, about 3 feet wide, and weighs aprox. 85 lbs. it is made out of Teak wood from Bali and I'm going to have it mounted on a wall in my family room. It was very expensive, but John gave me 30% off (even though it was new and not a sale item) so I couldn't pass it up. At the end, I asked if there was anything more he could do on the price and he knocked another $50 off the total price. I'm so happy with the pieces I got, John and everyone on his staff was awesome, and I'll definitely be back!

I could walk around this store for hours and plan exactly how I want to furnish my house. The staff is so friendly they just my let me. While most things were out of my price range, a girl can still dream. Definitely will be taking some yelp advice and following them on Instagram for new pieces and sales. I can't wait to go back and snag something to make a statement in my living room or kitchen (or bedroom or patio or anywhere really)!

I have never seen how movie set designers shop for the set furniture or how they get the inspiration to put together such a great layout but walking into this place, I figured this would be a stop in my book if I was a set designer. Everything in here is GORGEOUS! The detail and the restoration is phenom! They have this huge pieces that you just have to stand back and admire. The colors in this place are phenom, the green, the blue, the orange... just gorgeous. My favorite piece, if I had to pick one cause I had about 5, was the ginormous bed that just took my breath away. I had to take a pic in it. I wanted it SO bad to put in my new porch but it was $4,000. Not so much in my budget. There were amazing dining tables, tall and regular size, circle, square, HUGE, I was drooling. Yes, drooling. I wish I had money to pour into decorating a house with character! There is also a new bar in the middle of this amazing furniture mecca called The Imperial Wine Bar and Beer Garden. We didn't grab a drink but walked through and it's gorgeous! I will have to check this place out one night, for sure! Everyone that works there is very friendly and nice. Again, no hard sales and nothing overbearing. We had the freedom to walk around and adore everything.

This Ivanhoe Row store doesn't sell typical furniture or home décor pieces. Each item they carry appears to have a story to tell. Mostly wooden, their tables, dressers, cabinets and chairs seem to have excellent craftsmanship and a hefty price tag to match. As most furniture dealers do in that area, Washburn has certain pieces on display outside of the store in an effort to tempt their customers. Gorgeous bar stools, hand-woven chairs and unique tables happened to be there when I was a visitor and caught my attention. The bar stools were the first items I really took a gander at which meant I checked the price: $395....for just one. Once inside their show room I marveled at the ruby red ceiling and magnificent chandelier with red accents. I overheard to other customers speaking to the owner. They remarked that they were most impressed with the store's setup and how it felt like someone's home. The owner then stated that he and his wife spent a great deal of time making sure that's the atmosphere their customers felt. It's not overly crowded since each piece could be the focal point of any room. For instance, I admired a very large bust of what I learned was a Bali Stone Buddha. The price? A cool $695. But if you were a follower of this religion or just a fan, this sculpture might be priceless. Overall, I really loved what they had to offer since it's not what you'd find at Pier 1 or Rooms 2 Go.

There seems to be a lot of "wow" in my fellow yelpers reviews of this place...and there is good reason for that! This place, WOW!! Driving by and on a whim, in search of an old fashioned coat rack, I whipped in here not expecting much...pleasantly surprised came as soon as I walked in the doors! You walk in and are immediately greeted by b-e-a-utiful, grandiose and intricate pieces of furniture of all sizes from all over the world. I was ready to go purchase a house just so I could furnish it with items from this place! The prices were on the high end, but from the looks of it...the pieces were well worth the extra cost. Most pieces we inquired into had some sense of a story, which made it more fun to furniture shop (a rarity as you most know!) The store is 3 sections deep, so you walk through to the middle section and are drawn to the Imperial Bar that sits smack dab in the middle of the furniture store...yes, right in the middle of this place...again, WOW! They are open 6 days a week starting at 5pm and serve craft beer, wine and charcuterie of different varieties. The bar only seats about 6 inside, but the next amazing part is the beer garden they have outside for bar usage...it looks like it would be an amazing time at night. Overall, this place is great on all levels. The service from the staff was impeccable and the product speaks for itself...and its speaks loudly!! I can not wait to swing in for a beverage and some cheese one night...

On Washburn Import's website they describe their merchandise as being "From the practical to the extraordinary, simple to ornate, stylish to whimsical"...and I couldn't agree more. The kind of stuff you find in here is not what you would find in your average, everyday type of furniture or home decor store. As the name states, most of their stuff is imported from Asia and Europe. The furniture and decor items change out frequently and there are always unique, fun items . The owner and store attendants are all very helpful in finding something to match your wants and needs. The prices are not too bad, depending on what you choose to buy of course. This is a great place to go to decorate your home in a modern and unique fashion.

I love strolling into Washburn Imports when walking around Ivanhoe Village. Many of the items are out of my price range, but I like walking around the different rooms filled with beautiful furniture and antiques. Many (if not all) of the pieces are from India and Southeast Asia and are very nice. The inside of the shop almost makes you feel like you're walking around a furniture shop in one of these countries. The staff has always been very friendly. Happy to help if you're looking for something in particular, but they also know many people just stop on to browse. Stop by the Imperial if you're there after5 to browse the shop with wine in hand. I hear their sidewalk sales have great markdowns and I'd love to come back for one!

The ONLY reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because I can't afford a single thing in there. But that doesn't mean I don't WANT everything in there! Beautiful imported furniture (mostly from Asia, I believe)... I seriously would fill my house with this stuff. I love the bright colors of the stuff I saw (orange, red, green) and the huge ornamental wood pieces are gorgeous. Beautiful dining tables, chairs, dressers, bookcases... Love it all! They also have recently added a bar inside the store! Would be a pretty cool setting to go relax with a beer on a hot afternoon! I love this place so much, I just wish I could afford the stuff! Haha

When I first checked out Washburn Import I fell in love with every piece of furniture but the prices kept me from buying anything. Then, before I moved away from Orlando I bought just one piece - a beautiful buffet/sofa table from Thailand that is honestly the nicest piece of furniture I own. Since then I have traveled to several Asian countries where I often fall in love with furniture at cheaper prices. The problem? It costs thousands of dollars to ship it home (if you can even manage to do it). I finally realized that the prices at Washburn Import are a bargain when you consider the expense of travel, finding these amazing pieces and then arranging the huge shipping container on a cargo ship to get them home. If you're within a drive from Washburn Import - check it and and definately take something home. It's impossible to get this stuff from the countries of origin on your own.

You know what antique shops generally need and never have? A bar. I really dig this spot for a low key drink and some fun shopping. I haven't bought anything from the store....yet. And.. come to think of it, I was there during a World Cup game and the bar was anything but low-key! Definitely not your average sports bar though. I would love it more if they had a full liquor license, then again, I'd probably get tipsy enough to max out my credit card there if they did. So probably good they don't. Anyway, a very unique spot for Orlando, one I hope to come back to again and again!

If you want truly authentic and interesting furniture, Washburn Imports is the only place you need to go. Long before everyone started offering shabby chic items, Washburns was specializing in it. Stop in and prepare to get inspired.

Even if you're not buying furniture stop by this place. The art and furniture here is beautiful! They are always getting new things so it's never the same. Their prices are expensive because everything is legit and one of a kind. Just one piece from Washburn with instantly become the center and conversational piece of your home.

The manager on duty told me to get the Eff out of his store bc I told him his 450.00 bar stools were out of my budget years ago.

Even if the furniture in this shop isn't really your style (you can dream of Bali, but will that gorgeous lycee wood table or Chinese ceremonial bed fit in your house? sadly, no in my case), you can come to this spot and revel in the lush and sexy atmosphere at an equally sexy bar, which opens up at night. After chatting with the owner, Paul for a bit, I discovered a fellow foodie, and got a few good Orlando restaurant tips. I also learned that they host dinners here every once in a while. I will definitely be back!

Omgoooooodness this place is so amazing. I stumbled here by accident from checking out all the antique stores on Orange. Each piece I saw I couldn't help but "ooooh" & and "aaaah" while touching everything. Yes, the price tags were a tad hefty. in the $300 and up range. But you'd be getting a quality piece of furniture that is unique and priceless in its own right. And if it got beat or banged up, it would just add to the character of the piece. Definitely not your Walmart out-of-the-box particle wood desk. So many colors and textures, shapes and sizes. I enjoyed taking it all in. Definitely heading back to consider investing in a piece or two for an upgrade.

I am extremely happy with my first experience at Washburn. I would recommend it for people interested in one-of-a-kind, eclectic, upcycled, imported, reclaimed furniture, etc. The layout and amount of items are slightly overwhelming for a first-timer, but thats part of the appeal for people on the hunt for unique items. I spent about 3 hours on my first trip today, but could have explored a lot more. I've had bad experiences in the past with overly aggressive/pushy salespeople that swarm around you as soon as you enter the store and subject you to their obvious sales pitch while they hyperventilate and sweat drips down their forehead. Yes, I get it, they probably have kids that need braces. It's not that I want their kids to have bad teeth, I just don't like being forced into immediate buyers remorse. I never once felt pressured into buying anything today. They had one person working while I was there (Paul) and he was super patient and helpful. I bought two items and got same day delivery (I'm not sure if thats the norm...my new house is only a few blocks away from Washburn but they told me they could delivery today before they knew my address). There were a few other items that I liked but weren't in stock and I was able to pre-order those. A lot of their Facebook photos had prices on them, so I had a rough estimate of cost before going in. Overall, I would say the prices are mid-range but extremely reasonable when you consider what you're buying (high quality, not massed produced, seems to be a lot of imported, hand made stuff). If you're just starting out or on a budget, you probably won't be able to afford to buy all of your furniture from there but could get 1-2 statement items. If you're already established or want investment pieces, you should be able to find lots of stuff (I hope your kids don't need braces). My overall impression is that its a laid back place with things I don't think I could have found anywhere else, will definitely do business with again.

Love this place,we were introduced to this amazing place years ago by a couple we were staying with when they took us shopping,if you are looking for something thats one of a kind or that will make a statement this is the place to go.The couple bought several pieces years ago that still can stand on there own,they make me smile every time i see them again.I had not bought anything for myself seeing as i would have to get it back home to Wisconsin by plane,i saw a wood carved lamp i almost bought this year and then i saw her in the middle of the store,it was the bust of a young dancer from Bali for $300.00,it was a no brainer she came home with me on the plane and now sits on a pedestal in my entrance hall, she fits right in with everything else in my house and was worth every penny it cost to get her home.As for the price points at this store they can't be beat,i have purchased things like this wholesale at much higher price points and then you have to add shipping cost.
