Red Garden Food Paradise

A must to come place. Huge variety of good food. Reasonable price and portion. Favorite place for both local and foreigners. Even tour guide will bring folks over here. There is going to be a local live band at night. Enjoy the vibes. As when a humid and warm night, order up a icey fresh coconut or have yourself a nice cold beer. It is a place whereby I will come back if I am at Penang island

Food here are not as what was reviewed. BBQ chicken wing is sweet. Char siew flavoured. So weird. The CKT with duck egg is nice. Others are really meh. I will not be back. I would only recommend the apam balik. That was really crispy fragrant and really bring back memories of how good food taste like.

We visited last Thursday evening around 8pm, things were relatively quiet and not everything was open but there were plenty of choices and no queues. Our pick was the “BB Q and Grill Seafood Village”, having chosen a grouper cooked in the “Taste Fish” style. We also very enjoyed the Pad Thai from the Thai hawker and the rice chicken. Pay cash when you order and give your table number. Buy drinks from the elusive floor staff. Another reminder that you will eat twice as well at the hawker markets for a quarter of the price of restaurants, as long as you don’t mind hustling a bit service wise. All round a great family experience!

A wonderful local food center with a wide variety of dishes — from local favorites to international bites. Live music and great singers create such a lively yet cozy vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive, and prices are very reasonable. It’s also popular among local people, which makes the place feel truly authentic. Definitely one of the most impressive spots I’ve visited! 🎶🍴

For someone like me who has been sorely disappointed by the touristy nightmarkets in Penang each time I come back, this was a breath of fresh air - a food court style place cleanly kept (shocker, I know), has amazing live entertainment and great food??? The nasi lemak was the bombz and CKT was above average and came with cockles! Price is also very reasonable. There is a mix of locals (regulars) and tourists, mostly for drinking. Place opens till late for dinner and supper. I highly recommend if you are staying in Georgetown!

Nice food options, we had fresh fish which was cooked into perfection. Bring cash. They serve beer as well. It was a bit noisy, not ideal.

The best part of red garden is the menu big photo, make it easy for customer to choose which menu to order. The weakness is the place light is rather dark. For dinner time, should provide brighter lighting, after that dim light is oke. The drink crew who take order should be response to customer, in our case, we order , he just standing as if a robot. We do not know whether he understand what we order.

1st visit to this place . The drink is over price . The drink stall serves by foreign worker . The satay is good, the meat is tender, the gravy is nice. BBQ Quail also bad. RM10 per piece. Won’t be back again. Only for tourists.
