$63 for 2 simple entrees,, 1 margarita in a low ball glass that was filled mostly with margarita mix, a side of guac, and tip included. We each had a crispy beef taco, I had chicken enchilada with cream sauce which was a little on the salty side, husband had beef enchilada with what seemed like a chili con carne sauce, not traditional red, it was too salty. both combos came with rice and beans, that’s it. All food was standard fare and small portions, although the enchiladas had enough meat, it was scant in the tacos, which had a too-thick/hard shell.. Overall, quality and taste nothing to get excited about. The chips are also too thick and kind of puffy, the salsas were ok. I’d give 2.5 stars for the food, but can’t quite get to 3 stars. Ambiance? There wasn’t any. The bar overwhelmed the small front part of the restaurant where we were seated, and together with the TVs seem out of place in what could be a cozy neighborhood restaurant. If it had been busier I can’t imagine how noisy it would be. But the waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Still looking for a good Mexican restaurant that has more authenticity, with a clear model of being a restaurant or wanna be sports bar, it’s too small to be both. Overall….Experience was overpriced and for us didn’t live up to the ratings. Won’t be returning.
