Kappa Ramen & Sushi offers more than just sushi—its ramen menu is a standout, frequently mentioned by the LA Times’ food coverage and local review platforms. The shop is family-owned, and the cozy setting is matched by a menu that features both traditional and fusion-style ramen. Their black garlic oil tonkotsu and spicy seafood ramen are especially popular among regulars. Kappa’s warm service and commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients have made it a reliable choice for both ramen newcomers and connoisseurs.

Spot-On Jjolmyeon and Tasty Wings I came here for the Korean-style chicken wings but was really impressed by the jjolmyeon! This cold, spicy noodle dish is a classic boonshik (snack shop) staple, and it’s surprisingly hard to find places that get it right—but this restaurant absolutely nailed it. The noodles had just the right chew, and the seasoning was bold, refreshing, and delicious. Highly recommend if you're a fan of spicy cold noodles! As for the wings—they weren’t quite the traditional Korean fried chicken style I was expecting. They leaned more toward fusion flavors, but still paired nicely with a cold beer. Not bad at all, just different. Overall, if you're craving jjolmyeon or want to try a solid Korean fusion spot, this place is worth a visit.

Google
Literally the best Korean fried chicken in OC. Perfectly battered and crunchy, while still juicy and not too salty. My #1 flavor was definitely the Gim (seaweed) wrapped, but every flavor of the chicken is worth trying for sure. In addition to the great food, the atmosphere and vibes were incredible. I have yet to find a chicken spot in OC better than here.

Google
The decor for sure is worth a visit. We ordered the Jackson 5 and the lemon pepper curry fries. Pipping hot, juicy, and crisp. Definitely a keeper. Will be back

Google
This is one of my top Korean fried chicken places. The wings here are big and juicy, and hot (literally). The sides and other foods are also delicious as well. They also provide this complimentary chex-mix mixture that's flavored with what seems to be honey and seaweed. They make in house so it's always fresh. We liked it so much, we got a whole bag.

Ronnie

Google
I have gone twice and each time the food was very flavorful. I highly recommend the yellow curry chicken as either tenders or wings. If you prefer more crunch the popcorn chicken is also a good choice. The service is good given how busy it can get inside.

Google
The place is such a vibe. Not too big though but enough for couple of family/friends. The food are very tasty and good. We ordered: mixed honey crispy & seaweed wrapped chicken - not a fan of seaweed/black chicken, very hard to bite, but I love the one with honey. Alfredo with Korean pasta - very chewy! Similar to penne but no hole in it therefore its a very thick pasta, it's actually good. French fries - love it, very crunchy, it's not just a regular boring fries. Pickled radish & some rice. Service is great, they're very helpful & accommodating. 4 stars due to over price.

Google
The food here was delicious! We’ll definitely be coming back. We’re a family of five with small kids, and the place was very welcoming. The staff was super kind and helpful from the moment we walked in, they even offered a high chair right away and seated us comfortably. We ordered the roasted chicken half and half (half honey and half original) colds spicy noodles that were delicious! a salad that our kids surprisingly ate all, and fries that were so crispy, tasty, and not greasy at all. Everything was amazing! At the end, the servers kindly let us try their special coffee machine with different bean drinks, and it was really tasty. Our table was left with only empty plates and bones, nothing to take home this time! Even my husband, who’s very picky with food, loved it all. Definitely worth

Google
Our first time trying this spot and the employees were friendly and the customer service was amazing. The spicy carbonara was delicious, the rice cakes were so good and pair perfectly with the sauce. The Korean chicken wings were flavorful and huge! We “honey luv rap” and “red disco” for our wings flavors. The honey was savory but I personally prefer the bit of spice the red disco has.

Isabella A.

Yelp
The food here is always so tasty. The chicken is always crispy and freshly fried and the portions are great. My friend and I share the large poppin chicken and fries and always have leftovers to take home. The overall vibe of restaurant is cool and chill, from the music and tvs to the interior design. The servers are always on it and provide amazing service. This is definitely our favorite go-to place to eat.

Yelp
came here last night around a busier time so there was a little bit of a wait, but was no issue at all. i didn't catch his name but our server was great! super kind and friendly and helped us with figuring out the menu. the theming of the place was super cool too! and another thing was the music volume...not something i usually note but it was perfectly loud but not too loud that you're like yelling over it which i think is great for this type environment we ended up getting the honey luv and lemon curry pepper wings and they were HUGEEE, cooked perfectly, and had a great crunch. the honey luv was just like any other soy garlic wings (still super yummy) BUT... that lemon curry pepper was really the standout of the night!!! they were sooo flavorful and the lemon was super tangy and really made the flavor pop. i would absolutely recommend, they're like lemon pepper wings but 10x better. we also got the spicy carbonara teokbokki and it was yummy as well! nice and spicy but not painfully so. overall 10/10 experience would definitely come back and try out some different flavors! i think pretty worth it for the quality and size of the wings and i went home with a small meals worth of leftovers :P

Yelp
Got a to-go order on Saturday early evening. Ordered 3 dishes. The plain Salad was good and the added chicken we paid extra for was not much. Husband enjoyed the salad the best but I thought it was a little too tangy and saucy for my taste. The green sauce was very spicy and good. Wish the chicken pieces were thicker inside of the batter. Chicken had a thick stale crunch to it and the pieces of chicken were not meaty. I was a little disappointed after reading all of the rave reviews.

Yelp
Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside because we had a dog, but the inside looked really comfortable. The food was really good. Tteok-bokki had unique flavors although I'm not usually a huge tteok-bokki fan. But the chicken and fries were both so delicious and incredibly crispy. I liked the honey one the best, but the seaweed one was also really good and unique. Service was great. I think it may have been a bit difficult since we were sitting outside, but they were attentive and brought us water for our dog. Would definitely be back!

Yelp
A bit of a confusing start not knowing if we were suppose to order first and then seat ourselves or seat ourselves and then order with the set up of the place. It was a bit hectic but staff was really nice and provided more clarity after. FYI you wait to be seated and then order at the table (there's a sign in sheet if there's a wait). As for food, most definitely can't beat the chicken here! Definitely big, juicy, and flavorful chicken. Did not expect the wings to be that big but would absolutely come back for more wings next time! The other side dishes we ordered included the rappoki, carbonara spicy tteokbokki, jjolmyeon, and fries were all good but not exactly their standout dish. I've had better and could probably pass on all them next time and stick to the their chicken :)

Yelp
Came here for dinner because I heard it was good. However, it was disappointing... We ordered the Honey Luv Rap and the Billboard to try the different flavored wings. The chicken was really crispy and juicy, but there wasn't a lot of flavor. It was kind of bland. After a while, our server came and asked us how it was which we appreciated. We did tell him how we honestly felt and that's when he gave us radishes and this sauce. The sauce was REALLY good, the taste reminded me of fish sauce. I unfortunately would not come back because the food wasn't to my liking, and the pricing of the chicken was quite expensive too. I did like the vibes of the restaurant, by the restrooms, there were polaroids of customers hung on the wall which was cute!

Yelp
I Got My Sound Chicken is a vinyl-themed Korean fried chicken shop located in Fullerton. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and were seated right away. Inside, they have a cool and retro themed interior with a good amount of seating. They were also bumping some solid tunes with that 90's R&B. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different chicken, speciality, and tteokpokki dishes to choose from. We ended up getting a spread consisting of the Anchovy Fries, Spicy Carbonara Tteokpokki, and the Red Disco and Honey Luv Rap Wings. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here and everything that we had was delicious. The wings were so juicy and fried to perfection! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I may have found my go to Korean fried chicken spot and one of the best Korean fried chicken spots in all of OC!

Yelp
chicken tenders: 4/5 - Super crispy with a juicy inside. Batter had a nice crunch without being too oily. A little bit on bland side, would be better with a good sauce or more seasoning chicken wings: 4.5/5 - Flavorful and well-seasoned, super juicy. Solid pick with good texture. Recommended! Spicy Carbonara: 4.3/5 - Creamy, slightly spicy, and comforting. The sauce was rich and the rice cakes had that perfect chew. The croutons on top added a fun crunch. The vibe is fun and unique - disco balls on the ceiling, retro radios along the bar, and K-pop/music videos on the screens. It feels casual but lively, great for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Can get packed towards night.

Yelp
Quick service and kind staff. Got be carbonara ddukbokki and it was pretty good. Wish it had more broccoli and mushroom but came with plenty of rice cake. Personally, I was not a fan of the lemon curry chicken wings. It was way too salty and strong in flavor. The honey wings were good and I asked for leng saeb sauce on the side and it was the perfect sauce to complement the wings and try it out. The theme was unique and fun. Definitely worth checking out
google avatar

Yelp
Stepping into this place was a vibe. The record theme was so fun. Chill, comfy, and casual. Also loved how the menus were made. This restaurant offers seating inside and outside. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the my salad, billboard top 3, and the smooth like butter rice. Everything was shareable and so good! Would order everything again.

Yelp
The gim ballard wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, easily the highlight of my visit. The curry fries were also fantastic, with just enough spice to stand out. I really liked the interior, especially the speaker wall, which gave the place a fun, retro vibe. Definitely a go-to for Korean fried chicken cravings.

Yelp
Chicken was tasty and came out fresh and hot loved that the pieces were gigantic and had the perfect amount of sauce Mala had a kick but wasn't too spicy Gim with the unique coloring and crunch

Yelp
If you guys love Korean fried chicken you need to I Got My Sound Chicken!! I've tried all the flavors here and TNT is my favorite. Other than the chicken, the tteokbokki and fries are delicious too. Any time I get the chance I put everyone I know on to this place. Service is great. Everyone is very nice. Parking in the area is abundant with all the stores nearby in the plaza. Love the retro vinyl feel is also very cute!
google avatar

Janelle F.

Yelp
My family and I love this small restaurant. I've tried TNT, Honey Luv Rap, Mala Gala, and Red Disco. All flavors were so good and unique! I want to try all the flavors they have here haha. The fries taste fresh and crunchy/crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. It usually takes around 20-40 mins for the food to come out after ordering but it's well worth the wait! The restaurant has a very vibey feel and lots of cool music related decorations. Staff is kind and helpful.

Yelp
One of our go-to chicken spots in the area--flavorful, juicy, and always hits the spot. What we ordered: Spicy Carbonara Tteokbokki (10/10) Lang Saeb Chicken (10/10) Billboard Top 3 (8/10) Drinks: Strawberry Yogurt (8/10) for me because I'm not a fan of sour drinks, but my lady loves it! Pineapple Paradise (8/10) Service is great, super helpful, and I love the retro vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
We came back to try something different this time around and went with the tenders, but honestly they were just okay. The wings are way better by a milestone. We also tried the Rappookki (tteokbokki with ramen), but it wasn't the best combo in my opinion--it just tasted like spicy noodles with plain tteokbokki. As you can see in the picture, the rice cake looks so white, which is unusual because the sauce usually sticks to it. I'd definitely recommend trying one of the other tteokbokki dishes instead--we had the spicy carbonara on our first visit and it was delicious. On the positive side, the server was super nice and attentive, and the place itself looks amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so fascinating to me. The name caught my attention and I decided to come. The interior was actually incredibly cool. They have disco balls, radios stacked up to make their counter, and even vinyls as their menu holders. I thought this concept was really unique and it was refreshing to see that. We ordered the Spicy Carbonara Tteobokki with Ramen Noodles and the Golbaengi Jjolmyeon. The Tteokbokki was creamy and delicious. For the Golbaengi Jjolmyeon, it was actually really delicious. I've never had cold noodles like that or whelk before so it was cool getting to try both. This dish was my standout due to the spicy sauce they used as well as the texture difference between the noodles and the whelk. This place was amazing and I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Amazing service and fire portions for Pricing! Recommend family Style. Butter rice is BOMB. Can get packed since there's not a ton of seating. Leave a google review and get a large popcorn chicken! Staff was fast and accommodating!

Yelp
Drop what you're doing and run to "I Got My Sound Chicken". This place is actually a hidden gem that deserves all the hype. After seeing it had 5 stars on Yelp, I knew I had to give it a try. They're located in a big plaza, but just a heads-up -- parking can be tricky on busy days. We had to circle around a few times before finally snagging a spot. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted by neon lights, retro vibes, and walls decked out with vintage stereos + radios, and music-themed decor. It's clear that a lot of thought and energy went into creating the space -- it's like stepping into a nostalgic, music-lover's dream. After some deliberation and help from our server, we ordered the apple topoki, lemon curry pepper fries, and the stars of the show: the honey luv rap + gim ballad wings! First and foremost -- their chicken is INCREDIBLY juicy, perfectly seasoned, and has that addictive crunch that makes you want more! Every bite tastes like it was made with love (and probably a secret family recipe I'd pay good money for). The honey luv rap is your typical soy flavored wing that I definitely feel like I've had elsewhere before. The gim ballad, on the other hand, had such a unique flavor--unlike anything I've tried before--and I truly enjoyed it. The fact that the wings are sooo crispy yet remain so juicy and tender on the inside...best thing ever! The apple topoki was such a cool twist on the traditional Korean dish--just keep in mind that it is a bit spicy LOL, definitely had me chugging my water. The staff is super friendly, service is quick, and the portions? Generous. Had to pack a little to-go container because we were so stuffed LOL. You definitely get your money's worth, even if the prices lean a little on the higher side. Whether you're a big chicken fan or just looking for your next go-to lunch spot, this place will definitely exceed your expectations, like it did mine. I'm already planning my next visit! Tip: Write a review on Yelp and get a free order of popcorn chicken!

Yelp
As the name suggests, this place has a pretty dang good music playlist lol. I also loved the musical touches from the menu, the table, and the whole vibe of the restaurant in general. Our server was fantastic, he gave us some great recs off the menu. Gotta give a shoutout to the lemon pepper fried chicken because it was so tangy, and the lemony zest was pretty powerful. I'm a big fan of lemon pepper, and this definitely satiated my appetite. The tteokbokki was a tad more on the spicy side than the carbonara side but still delicious, especially to dip your fried chicken. If you're in the area and craving Korean fried chicken you won't be disappointed

Yelp
This is a top 3 OC Korean Fried Chicken spot in a very competitive and crowded landscape. Finally had the chance to stop here this past weekend and this place lived up to the hype. Two standout attributes are that 1) the chicken pieces are larger and cooked quite crispy (no more small unidentifiable mystery pieces like we often see at other kfc spots) and 2) the seasonings are nicely tossed into the chicken and not soaked. My favorites were the original which comes with a tasty vinegary dipping sauce and the soy garlic flavor. These were followed by the ggim/nori flavored wings and red disco. Don't forget to add the johlmyun (spicy chewy noodles)! Honestly a very memorable dish and tasted like a spicier version of what my mom made for me growing up. Service was excellent and we had a chance to greet the owner which was nice to see. Looking forward to my next visit back here.

Yelp
Mouthwatering! Whenever I'm craving fried chicken, I Got My Sound is my #1 go-to. I've been coming here since I moved to the area a couple years ago and the quality is fresh and consistent. I've dined in, done takeout, and introduced to friends - Gim Ballad and Honey Luv Rap wings are reliable crowd-pleasers. The seaweed-crusted Gim Ballad is a unique take with great crisp texture, and Honey Luv Rap is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. These are my household's personal favorites as well, but we've had all the available flavors and would not say no to any of them. For 2 of us, we usually get the Billboard Top 3 (3 flavors, 2 of each for 6 total wings) and a fry or My Salad. My Salad is a top-notch flavor and texture bomb. There are apparently 2 styles of dressing (not noted in the menu), but we've only had the default "Caesar" option. The quinoa and fried Asian noodle offer crunch, and the dressing is bright and umami. Poppin' Chicken is their version of popcorn chicken, which comes in 4 flavors: Original, TNT, Lemon Curry, and Spicy Ramyeon. If you're expecting Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken, this is not that. My personal favorite is lemon curry, unexpectedly, since I also think it leans more lemon than curry - but personally, the TNT is tangy and not spicy, and Spicy Ramyeon has good flavor but also does not have any kick that I can tell (but I like spice and have a slightly higher tolerance). The pieces are also a bit too big to eat in one bite, which doesn't make it "poppin'" in my opinion... Both the regular and spicy Carbonara Topoki are good fusion dishes that satisfy cravings for something like pasta, that is rich and creamy yet flavorful without being overpowering as you would expect in an Italian dish. It's all about balance. Portions are definitely for sharing between 2-4 people. As for the service, the food appears to be made fresh to order, so expect a wait of 20-25 minutes for dishes to come out. I think it's well worth it, and the servers themselves are friendly and accommodating. Ambiance: Casual; music-themed but it's not distracting. The menus are crafted with old vinyl record covers, which is great for vibes, but there are times when it seems there are not enough to go around. Based on the video clips playing in the dining area on repeat, I believe the owner is a real dance-enthusiast that's passionate about music and food. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. My suggestion for the restaurant would be to perhaps add customizable spice levels to the Poppin' Chicken, and make the pieces smaller to be more bite-size. Other than that, keep doing your thing!

Yelp
Service was super quick. There was sufficient parking, I went on a weekday so I'm unsure of how crowded this place does get, but with the flavor and juiciness of the chicken. I suspect that there would be a wait on the weekends. The gim Ballard (seaweed) was super interesting. I was on the fence in the beginning, but I'm glad I gave it a try. This was one of my favorite flavors that I got. This wing had the most crunch out of all 3 that we got. The flavor and juices was also just oozing out of the wing when bitten. The TNT had the appropriate kick to it and was everything I want when I wanted a spicy wing. Still had a great crunch as well. The honey luv was your typical honey/soy flavor. If I only had two options this would be the one that I wouldn't get here because I feel like I could get it anywhere. Not saying that it's bad because that's far from the truth. The spicy carbonara topoki was also super creamy and flavorful. The bits croutons and bacon were a nice texture touch. Would definitely recommend getting this! Overall very satisfied with the chicken and is comparable to Koko chicken in garden grove with more unique flavors!

Yelp
Korean Fried Chicken has called my name yet again and this place popped up on yelp so my partner and I decided to give it a try! The restaurant itself has a very retro vibe to it, vinyls all over the walls and menus and we were seated immediately. We got recommendations from our waiter to try their lemon pepper curry and we got our food within 20 minutes. Since we told our waiter it was our first time, he got us some small snacks while we waited and a salad on the house! He also saw were were between 2 other flavors and got us both sauces to try with our food, also on the house! Our food came and boy, did it look like a piece of heaven! The ddeokbokki was nice and creamy, the chicken was super crispy and the lemon pepper curry was definitely the fan favorite! Our table was cleaned off within 30 minutes! Overall, the service combined with the amazing food made this visit one to remember. Don't miss out and give this place a try!

Yelp
The vibes from the food to customer service was 10/10! I enjoyed the decor of the place and the music was a vibe It was pretty crowded after we got seated. There's also outdoor seating. Chicken was really crunchy. Outside Flavors of the wings not really there until I put seasoning. 8/10 The tenders was really good! The ranch tender was my favorite. 9.5/10 And the carbonara was divine! 10/10 Popcorn chicken has such a wonderful crunch that was soft! 10/10 Anchovy fries was good w the red powder 8/10

Yelp
The fried chicken here is absolutely bombing! crispy, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The crust has the perfect texture and seasoning, and the meat inside is juicy and tender, never dry. Chicken portion sizes are generous too To balance out the richness of the chicken, I highly recommend ordering the fish cake soup. It's a great palate cleanser, very comforting. We also ordered buttered fried rice and Jjolmyeon(cold noodle) , I have to say I like the cold noodle more. The chewy texture of the noodle, and the unique, savory sauce with just the right kick of chili. The service was solid, it's casual and modern, with a lively, upbeat vibe . nice for a casual night out with friends or a relaxed dinner date

Yelp
Amazing, crunchy, and tasty chicken! Great music and ambiance. The service was excellent too!

Yelp
So we stopped by I Got My Sound Chicken for some wings and Carbonara Tteokbokki. We ordered ahead of time so we didn't have to wait at all, there was some seating indoors when we walked in. Rupert was the server who helped us and he was a nice guy! The food was delicious but make sure to get the jalapeño sauce and the radish with the wings! Would go back in the future.

Yelp
We came here for the sake of trying new experience eating fried chicken and didn't disappoint a bit. The decor was so crisp with all the unique layout related to music stuff. The wait was super nice explaining the sauce menu and even gave me the additional spicy for me. Foods were unexpected good. Chicken was greatly crispy, the red disco sauce has some sweet kick for anyone info. Carbonara sauce was super delish and creamy and the toppoki was chewy soft good texture. Super recommended if wanna try korean fried chicken in different way.

Yelp
The TNT wings are bombdotcom! The next time I visit, I am definitely going for a dozen of these dynamite bad boys. The wings were gargantuan, super juicy, and ultra crispy. The seasoning on the outside is just superb and you will get an awesome spicy umami kick out of them. The mala gala wings which were also delicious, but definitely leaned more on the sweet side. Besides the wings, the spicy carbonara topoki was fairly delicious. The sauce was creamy and loaded with bacon. The service here was very attentive and we received good recommendations. Parking was a breeze as it's across a shopping plaza. Now that you're done reading this review, go get yourself some TNT!

Yelp
Everything was kinda overrated and just mid. The chicken but crispy and tasted blend. So stingy with their chex mix too idk why.

Yelp
a corner restaurant in a huge plaza :-) plenty of parking in huge shared lots too. the ambiance is super cool! very rock and roll and musically themed. definitely a place for the cool kids B) food is yummy & packed with great texture and notes of flavor. a great place for your favorite korean food like tteokbokki and korean fried chicken. service was speedy and professional, they checked on us here and there which was the perfect amount imo. overall 4.5/5! very vibey. a great place to meet with friends or go on a date!

Yelp
I have a mixed review on my experience here. I went with a group on a Saturday. While we were there around an hour after the store opened, people had just been seated and no one had received food. We were seated outside, and the heaters were not working. They were quite short staffed on this day, and we had to continually go in to make sure we had not been forgotten. While the chicken had a very good crunch, all the flavors I tried were a little bland. I tried the honey, seaweed, and original flavors and they all tasted about the same. The honey was mildly sweeter, the seaweed mildly more savory, and the original was just what you'd expect. Even with the short staffing, the staff I spoke with were extremely pleasant and helpful. They were definitely trying their best, despite the circumstances.

Yelp
I visited I Got My Sound Chicken last summer for the first time on vacation in OC. Their chicken is high-quality and service is impeccable, especially given this is a super casual setting. The cashier gave great recommendations and advised us on spice level without us needing to ask which was helpful as we decided what to order. Will definitely visit again once I'm in the area!

Yelp
Really chill atmosphere Friendly guy working the whole restaurant He recommended us flavors of wings to try, hooked us up with some yummy snack thing while we waited for the wings. Freshly made, steamy hot food. Some of the crispiest fried chicken I've had, really tasty flavors. Not too spicy. Rose carbonara has a great flavor, but I wish they threw in a noodle into it so it could soak up the sauce. Would definitely be back. Cracking place for a chill hang out. I believe they have beer and soju as well. Parking was plentiful as it's in the same plaza with the target and Barnes and noble.

Yelp
Food & service was good! The place is cute too! Super casual! The chicken was really good. I personally would've preferred slightly thinner tteokbokki.

Yelp
I Got My Sound Chicken is located in the Amerige Heights Town Center plaza and the restaurant is well decorated to its theme. There are lots of vintage radios and posters and there's even a spot where you can take off your shoes and sit on the ground with cushions for that old Korean vibe. My friend and I ordered the spicy carbonara Topboki and 12 piece wings split between the Gim Ballad and the Red Disco. As we were waiting the server gave us a sample of their smooth like butter rice and it was really good and also nice of him to do that. He was really attentive with us and made sure we enjoyed everything. The wings were on the larger side which is always a plus. The red disco is basically their yangnyeom flavor and it was good. Sweet with a bit of that spicy gochujang kick. The Gim Ballad is what they're usually known for and it's chicken that been encrusted in Korean seaweed batter. It was extra crispy and really good because of the extra umami boost! Our meal also came with some pickled korean radish and their house made habanero sauce which was like a spicy chimichurri. Both were great and we both agreed that we wouldn't have minded if the habanero sauce was a bit spicier rather than sweet.

Yelp
Delicious Korean fried chicken! We ordered honey garlic which was our favorite flavor with a good amount of sweetness. Also ordered the seaweed flavored (black chicken wings) which was really unique (I've never had this flavor elsewhere). Their original fried chicken is also yummy - the fried chicken is crunchy on outside and moist on inside, each chicken wing/drumstick is huge with a lot of meat and the crispy skin is thick as well and comes off easily. We tried the apple ttekboki which was quite spicy! Took a while to get food but service was good! Ample amount of parking in plaza and casual interior space.

Yelp
Ambience is pretty dope for a fast(ish) food spot. Vinyl record tables and disco balls ahead hanging from the ceiling. Friendly staff recommending the TNT 3 piece tenders chicken. It had a great spice to it. Thankfully it was also juicy and big tenders, worth the $15 after tax. Super tasty and hot hot hot! Big bang for your buck. Very nice vibes, cools records playing out loud (e.g. Michael Jackson). Staff is friendly and chill. Televisions while you eat so you can watch sports.

Yelp
Not to be dramatic, but this is the best Korean fried chicken I've had. I love the concept of the restaurant. It's music themed and their decor is perfect. The place has lots of personality - from the vinyl-inspired menus to the name of the dishes. Our server was very friendly and the food came out not too long after we ordered. Food Consensus: The food was fire. Even the chex mix at the beginning was flavorful with both the salty and sweet element. We ordered the wings and the spicy carbonara with ramen. The spicy carbonara was creamy, savory, and perfectly spicy. I loved this dish! For wing flavors, we ordered the Honey Luv Rap, Red Disco, Gim Ballad, and Mala Gala. My friend and I both had the same rankings in terms of flavors. Going from favorite to least favorite, it's Gim Ballad, Honey Luv Rap, Red Disco, and Mala Gala. Gim Ballad is not a flavor explosion but it is delicious. If you're a fan of seaweed, I think the lightness of the seaweed pairs surprisingly well with the chicken. I was amazed at how they are able to achieve that crunchy seaweed shell. Honey Luv Rap was great and your standard KFC flavor - very tasty. Both the Red Disco and Mala Gala were a bit too saucy for my taste but some people love that! The Red Disco had a good balance of spicy and sweet. The Mala Gala was lacking the Mala/Sichuan flavor that I am used to and tasted more like a sweet chili. Overall, all of the chicken had great textures and flavors. The quality of the wing was excellent and the crunch was just right. Overall, I'd highly recommend trying I Got My Sound Chicken. It is my new must try recommendation in the Fullerton area.

Yelp
Came here for dinner, on a Saturday evening in late February 2025 via car, with another couple. Parking was easy and free in this huge plaza. You go inside and order at the front but because it was busy, they decided to take our order outside by our table. The service was excellent - you can tell every member of the staff cared about the quality of the food that's being served. The food was very good. My partner ordered the Lang Saeb Chicken, which was exactly how it would taste if you ordered it in Thailand. The skin was still crispy. That sauce was to die for! We even asked for more of the sauce to dip everything else in. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara Topoki, which was very good. It was, in my opinion, how every carbonara should be. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly. My friends ordered the 12-piece chicken - half Gim Ballad & half Honey Luv Rap. They said they liked both. The deep fried batter on the Gim Ballad was out of this world. They got it so crunchy!

Yelp
Order at the kiosk and you can help yourself to water & utensils when dining in. We ordered the Apple Topoki, Smooth Like Butter Rice, & 6pcs wings (Half Honey Luv Rap + Half Gim). I really enjoyed the Apple Topoki as it was spicy and sweet! The interior has a retro decoration w/ RnB music. Great place to come with friends for a casual dinner.

Yelp
I recently visited this spot with some friends and it was such a hidden gem! The service was great, Darren was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our time here. We ordered the 12 pc chicken (half Mala and half Honey) along with the Spicy Carbonara, and everything was crispy and good! I personally really liked the honey flavor the spicy carbonara was super creamy and the spice wasn't overpowering. The store itself was really cool and a fun hangout spot! I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
We had a big party so we called to reserve 2 tables for a Friday night. | v i b e | The interior is retro-themed and decorated with radios. Even the bathroom is decorated with records! | s e r v i c e | Our food came out so fast. They also made sure we had everything we needed. | f o o d | We ordered 3 different flavors: gim, lemon pepper curry, and lang saeb chicken. I like the lemon pepper curry the best bc I am a fan of lemon paper in general. The gim was unique and I recommend if you like seaweed. The jalapeño sauce that accompanies it is so good. The lang saeb is spicy and flavorful with herbs. The tteokbokki is solid! We got the regular and carbonara. You can't go wrong with either choices. | t l ; d r | Definitely one of the better KFC places in SoCal. Worth a try for sure.

Yelp
I'm in the area and wanted to have some Korean fried chicken. Los Angeles tend to have better options when it comes to Korean fried chicken. When I came across this place. I was intrigued since they had a black looking fried chicken. To my surprise, this friend chicken is seaweed flavored batter! I had to try it and to my surprise it does taste like seaweed. I ordered takeout this time around but the Gentleman who took my order and checked me out was super nice and answered all of questions. Also introduced the canned Makgeolli- highly recommend, it was a perfect pairing for the fried chicken. The bonchon was mediocre, I had better. The dinning area isn't that big and doesn't look like it can accommodate big parties but is big enough for a party of 8. Overall, I enjoyed the fried chicken with the Makgeolli.

Yelp
This place literally WOWed us. 1. How do they get their chicken to be ASMR-worthy crispy?!? The chicken is light, crunchy, and juicy! We even got takeout, and most of the time it gets soggy, but the chicken here held up so well! Definitely one of the best Korean fried chicken spots in the OC. The green spicy salsa that also came with the chicken was one of my favorite new things I've tried in a long time. Please sell this in a bottle!! Would love to have more at home! 2. Rapoki had a good spicy kick to it which was exactly what I was craving. At first it looked sus because the sauce was watery, but after adding in the noodles (they give two packs of noodles btw) it was great! 3. Chex mix was goooood!!! I saw that they were selling bags of it while ordering but I didn't get one because I wasn't sure if it'd be any good. They gave us a sample while we were waiting for our order and now I want to go back to get a bag. It's sweet and salty, a great snack. Some tips: -They have those Korean drink vending machines where you can get milk coffee or hot chocolate for 25 cents. -Plenty of free parking -Good energy/vibes to go out with friends -definitely 5 star worthy for the chicken alone
