The Roosters Ilisia

The Roosters Ilisia is a great spot with a vibrant and welcoming student atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re dropping by for a quick bite or spending time with friends. The food is truly very good and fresh. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality and overall experience make it worth it. All in all, it’s a very good place that I’d happily recommend.

Pleasant staff and welcoming. Counter pastries and sandwiches is amazing. Tried the banana bread with peanut butter, it’s superb! Soft moist and melts in your mouth. The Ham sandwich is so so but still delicious. Just hope they will serve the traditional Greek coffee … that would be great! Overall will recommend and come back again .. έξοχος!👏

Wonderful interior. The avocado toast and the pistachio bun were excellent. The cappuccino freddo could have been better tho. I will certainly be visiting again.

Very lovely place to have coffee and foood. Friendly environment and beautiful place to take cute photos. Anastasia was our waiter. She’s the best thing that could happen to you, very warm and welcoming. (need a raise for her hard work). Definitely coming back to this place once back in town🤍🤍😂

The Rooster has many levels for dining. Very green upper floor, small whitewash middle and lots of outdoor small tables street level. Great omelette choices, pastries, yogurt bowls and cookies .. great spot to relax and eat

Spacious and airy, modern space with plenty of seating outside and inside, including a roof terrace. The food was okay, I was not mind blown, but it was tasty and fresh. Service lacked a bit in the terrace as poor waiters have to carry it all from the ground floor, so if you needed something extra like salt, they have to go down 2 floors to get it. Smoothies are not fresh but prepacked. Music was, in my opinion, appalling for daytime. Overall, it gave a money-making machine vibe rather than care for the food and customers. Having said that, I wouldn't say no to going back, but I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Very nice café with nice vibes and good coffee. The main disadvantage is the slow service. They forgot us 3 times when we asked for the bill. If they hire more waiters, they will be great!

A friend of mine in Berlin recommended me this place and we came to visit it when we were in Athens. Delicious food, very good cappuccino. The people working there are very kind and friendly and the atmosphere is very cool. We went there two times during our stay in Athens and coming back for sure next time we are in town.
