This place in Fairfield is quaint. Very very small. I think my expectations weren't met at all. First being seated at 2pm on a Saturday with get yourself a table response..not classy at all. A wine bar? Noooo their drinks and beer selection is way better than their wines. "NOT A WINE BAR" The rueben sandwich, what joke, one piece of meat. Try the rueben Sammie in Elk Grove at the BRICK HOUSE. That's a sandwich 🥪. Just informing you. The Italian sandwich was great according to my bday friend. Got the truffle oil and garlic fries which were amazing. Just gonna advise anyone who has a plate for food... and im a foodie. Look up Brick House and see their food menu 😋

Tried almost the entire food menu, all fantastic. The woman who runs the place is extremely welcoming and pleasant to talk to! Great wine menu with selections from Napa as well as elsewhere in CA and the world. I love Port wine, and I was so impressed that they have a flight of different Port wines you can order!

The Main Grape in Vacaville, California offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and mixed drinks at affordable prices in a very comfortable setting. Live music is frequently offered and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is out front and the bathrooms are clean.

Yeah, we came at the last minute. Got 2 glasses of wine, a bit high for 2 glasses. but it was good! Services were okay. I wish the owner would have created us. The atmosphere was good. I'll be back.

It was about 2:02pm they were barely opening. Taking down chairs and there was a rowdy party of 5 or so waiting to sit. I love the design of the place. The furniture is unique and pleasing to the eye. They were ready to serve me a drink already. I declined & chose the cappuccino. It was fair. I loved the tea cup vibe. Oh my goodness the clam chowder is amazing. It hits the spot for sure! Wanted cheesecake but they were fresh out (someone else came in to order it too). Kinda disappointed about that but I’ll be back to try again! I hope they weren’t upset because I used a gift card.

Such a chill atmosphere. I meet with friends monthly and it is a really nice lounge space to socialize. Food is nice, but it is more a wine spot. They have some decent selections and a good pour. Friends have also complimented their menu of specialty drinks, though I have not tried any yet. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a favorite downtown spot!

Such a cute place - perfect location - love the sidewalk side open window! Great wine selection and yummy food. Vacaville needed this place! We will be back!

So to start out... I love supporting locally. We've been going to the main grape since it open. It's been fine. Today we waited for about 10-15minutes to open so we can be there at the front to watch all the costumes. We sat there for a minute only have the owner tell us that we couldn't sit there because her grandkids were coming. I'm sorry but last time I checked... it's a wine bar we should be allowed to seat where we want but apparently her grandkids that are under age are allowed. We ended up leaving. I'll never go back there again.

Met here with a couple other friends and had a comfortable seat in the lounge area. The host/bartender was very considerate and kind. We shared some food which was great and I had a glass of red wine with a generous pour. Overall a lovely experience and I would return here. Thank you!

Great drinks and great vibes! After leaving another establishment up the street, my group and ai decided to stop in and check out The Main Grape. We were instantly greeted and told to feel free to sit wherever we wanted. There were tables as well as seating at the bar. We instead decided to sit at one of the couches in the back. Not only are they beautiful, but comfortable too. We weren't really sure what we wanted to order, so we asked the bartender for his recommendations. We all tried different selections based on what his individual recommendations for us were. We enjoyed our drinks while listening to the music that really sets the chic yet casual ambiance. Highly recommend!

I can't think of anything bad. This place was open late on a Friday, they had food and wine, parking was easy to find on the street, and the servers were attentive and friendly. Our main server was Kristine and she was easy to talk to. I like how the vibe is casual and friendly. The pretzel was soft, salted and yummy. The cheese board was the perfect size for two. I think next time I will try a cocktail. it's not a huge place, but it's a cute spot to catch up with a friend or two. Check it out!

Angelo our server was amazing! We went late night an hour before closing, and kitchen was already closed, but Angelo made us an awesome cheese board! Recommended a glass of Beringer- it was so good! The place is very cozy, we sat at the very back, in front of the fireplace. There are tables in the front, couches towards the back. When you enter, the menu is on the right- near the bar sitting area- they have all kinds of drinks. Parking there is street parking, and a shared parking lot in the back. We enjoyed our time! We will be back!

Food? Blah... service less than blah, no seats in patio so inside seating was less than ideal. Won't recommend. Wanted it to be great but had to go to the bar numerous times for help. Shrimp overly cooked and flavorless, will say flatbread was good. Ending there. On a good note... but not enough to return.

I hosted a private event at this venue, and it couldn't have gone better! Tonya and her team were amazing! Everything from off menu food, decor and atmosphere! Highly recommend for any events!

Just okay. The boards are basic. Can make a much better one at home. Drinks were good but service left a lot to be desired.

I have seen this place several times and decided to finally go see what it's about. It's a cute little place the staff was very friendly and the drinks delish. I had the sangria and a French sunrise, I recommend both. To eat we had the chicken and bacon skewers it was a little steep on price point at $16 for two but they were tasty, we also shared the bruschetta you get 4 pieces of that I would definitely recommend. All in all it was a nice outing and I will be back again.

What a delightful venue. The atmosphere is quaint warm and friendly. Tanya seems to know most everyone who enters and greets them with a hug. The wine selection is interesting and full of lesser known but delicious brands. The food is wonderful. Small bite, tapas style so you try a bit of a lot of different dishes. The sausage trio and three mustards was wonderful. Soft pretzels superb. Flat breads crisp and flavorful. We'll be back!

Great wine bar in downtown Vacaville! They have a wide selection of reds, whites, bubbles and even dessert wine. Ambiance was great with different seating options; there were some couches in the back, a few tables, and some bar seating. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Their food menu had some great options, everything from charcuterie boards and other shareables to soups, salads, and flatbreads and even some desserts! I personally loved all the food options. There were plenty of sweet and savory bites to choose from that you can share with others and enjoy with your drinks. It's a great spot to unwind with some friends after a long work day or for a casual date night.

Hopped into The Main Grape killing a bit of time and grabbed a drink and flatbread. Service was excellent. The bar seat facing the street makes for great people watching.

Not impressed with the menu. Limited selection. Food and drinks are good I eat here when my favorite restaurant is closed! My favorite is The BackDoor Bistro!

Great ambiance. They play good music at an appropriate volume. The wine options are great with attentive customer service. I love the trendy decor.

What a little gem! From the moment that you walk in you definitely get a classy vibe for this little bar and eats. For the champagne lady I am it was great to see the extensive selection of Champagne options to include the Chambong which I never experienced but have to say it was yummy and entertaining. The service could've been a tad better as the servers/bartenders seemed uncomfortable in their role. The bar area also seemed cluttered with things on top of each other instead of a much visually pleasing aesthetic. Ordered a flatbread which was just okay. Seemed like it was just thrown together, literally thrown ingredients on the flatbread and melt the cheese. I'm comparing it to more detailed served flatbread I'm used to. I'd say overall this place is an incredible addition to the uninspired establishments especially food and drink places in Vacaville. Hope they stick around, maybe just a few minor adjustments.

What a gem. I'm so glad we found the Main Grape. They have an incredible selection of wine and beer. I had Sangria. Their menu is small and the food is good. I had the shrimp cocktail and the Basque cheesecake. I will be going back.

My husband and I always love The Main Grape ! The pineapple beer, sausages sampler plate and the caprese flatbread tasted so refreshing on a mid day in the hot weather. Cool and comfortable as well as absolutely amazing people working here.

Went here to have a few drinks and a bit to eat. Had the Coppola Prosecco Rose. You have to try this. It was very good and refreshing. The Italian flatbread pizza was ok but the chili was to die for. So yummy. Service this evening was okay but the chili made up for the service. The place is very cute with a nice little bar and the door rolls up in front so you can listen to the live music when the have it out front across the street. I definitely we go back again but not anytime soon.

We stopped here when we were on our way home from a trip to Oregon. We had intended to to go to the bakery for tea and something sweet, but the bakery was closed. We saw Main Grape across the street and decided to give it a try! We had a glass of wine each and an order of their flatbread--delicious! The welcome was friendly, service was professional and helpful. The environment is pleasant. We LOVED this place and will definitely return! A real find!

This place is cute. Has potential. Service was good. I think some minor modifications would make it fantastic. It is very casual. Surprisingly there were kids inside. It's loud. The usual crowd having fun and talking loudly. Not our vibe. Essentially, it's a bar that is disguised as a wine bar. Nothing bad. Nothing great.

Went to a music performance here. Interesting menu of flatbreads and other food items. Good selection of wines and craft beers. Very small venue, staff friendly.

Food and drink are very good. The desserts are better than most restaurants...:-). With the main door open for the bar seating that faces the street there is a nice breeze flowing through the entire space.

We have been coming to the Main Grape for a while and the food, drinks, staff and ambiance never disappoints! Local musicians entertain the crowd every Monday night. The owner, Tanya, has brought a real gem to Vacaville! Assuming all the city's inexplicable red tape can be overcome, there will be an outdoor patio opening soon!!! This place is awesome!!!

Vacaville is in such desperate need of fun places to attract people downtown, and Main Grape fits the bill! A woman-owned business (c'mon ladies!) that has a classy and fun vibe, good food, and plenty of wines and beers to choose from. The owner, Tanya, works her fanny off to provide a fun atmosphere for her customers, and she is clearly appreciative of every one of them. Now, to get that outside patio opened so Vacaville can compete with much smaller towns like Winters that have embraced downtown business owners. We've lived in Vacaville for 35 years--man, is it overdue! (Mayor Carli, are you listening?!) If you haven't been to Main Grape, bring some friends and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I've been a few times. I thought we just caught an off day but the last two times the service has been terrible!! My gf and I sat at the bar top and still took over 40 minutes to put our food order in. The food was good but we were starving at that point. Next time I went with my boyfriend and we sat at a table. It wasn't nearly as busy as when I was there with my gf so I hoped we would have a different experience. Unfortunately we didn't. We actually never even ordered food because our server dropped our drinks off and never came back to check on us. My bf literally had an empty glass and no one bothered to ask if we needed anything.

Love this place been coming here since they opened they have a saki mojito that is stellar! Come try this my wife and I split one ok actually 3 with my wife and met some really great people check it out!

This wine bar has a cozy ambiance which makes a great place to meet friends and take your date. The service was very prompt and friendly. There is a nice selection of wines and beers to choose from. It's in a very nice location. I really enjoyed my visit.

I think The Main Grape is still in their soft opening stage. My buddy and I walked in and saw the place at about half capacity. We stood at the front entrance and weren't quite sure of where to go (self seating or do we wait to be seated?) We ended up approaching the bar area and asked the gentleman behind it if we should seat ourselves or if the tables are reserved. We were told to grab a seat anywhere we like, grab a menu and order at the bar when we are ready. I appreciated that the food menu was a single page, double sided. Simple, straightforward. and easy to digest. We ordered a sausage platter, which turned out to be really good. I mean... they are grilled sausages, what is there not to like? I would have liked to have known what kind of sausages there were, as well as the types of mustard, they were served with. Just a simple way to label the Andouille, Chorizo and Bratwurst with a toothpick would be a nice touch. The house wine was decent and fairly priced. It's nothing amazing but there were some bottles available that were definitely nicer if we felt like splurging a bit (stuff from Patz and Hall, Chalk Hill, Mt Veeder, etc...) Knowing that the Cava Chambongs were a bit of a gimmick, I almost passed on ordering them but my compadre had never tried one and so I felt like we had to. At $5 a pop, it's not a bad deal. It's just a splash of bubbles in the Chambongs so don't fool yourself in thinking you're downing an entire glass of sparkling... but it's fun to do none the less and that's why it's probably on the menu (and will likely do very well on Friday/Saturday nights). We were applauded by other patrons after we downed our little bit of Cava... yes, bravo indeed.

Right on the corner of Elizabeth and Main is the beautiful The Main Grape Vacaville. Downtown Vacavilles newest gem! I am so excited for Tonya M. Dretzka, Blake Borchers, and Ariana Bell on this new adventure! Please come check out the vibe. They have wine, champagne, beer, and seltzers. They will have food by the end of the week. They also have nonalcoholic wine and champagne so you will catch me here all summer! I have samples a few of the menu items and all the food was super delicious! I would definitely come check them out and show some support. As soon as the weather is nicer they will have outdoor seating as well. Just remember this is "open seating" so you may have to wait for a table to open. If your coming with a large party come a little early.

I only had the affogato here. Got to sit in the open window area so it was nice and breezy. The service was quick and servers were so nice. The affogato was delicious and cannot wait to go back.

Great fast service. Warm and cozy atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were greeted promptly and che ked on throughout our stay. Definitely come down for social hour at any time!

OMGoodness!!!!!! There are not enough words to express how badly Vacaville needed an establishment like The Main Grape downtown. Thank you for coming up with the idea and a new "spot"! One cannot beat nor compete with the wine and beer selections, the phenomenal service, nor its quant ambiance. Though small, it all works so well together. Once we stepped inside and Kristine immediately made us feel as though we have known each other since nursery school. She answered all our questions and actually made some pretty amazing suggestions. We were not disappointed. It's like she got inside our heads and really knew us. Generally when I have out of town guests we do the whole Napa thing. Not anymore, I'm happy to say The Main Grape is in the town in which I live, close to my house, and is comfy. The Main Grape also lets you rent out part of or the entire place for your celebratory events. I see tons of fun with that. Vacaville has needed (for quite a long while) to re-do downtown to entice visitors. The Main Grape is truly a remarkable start. I'll be coming alone, bringing friends, and gifting gift cards. Thank you! Come on, come all - The Main Grape is the place to be.

Really a great little place. Cute decor and open fun seating. The service was awesome. The food was beyond what o hoped for. The wine margarita with the port floater is their take on it and I'm looking forward to having it again.

Great place to try different wines and champagnes! Poke tacos were yummy but not a fan of the shrimp taco...clam chowder delicious and the little flatbreads great! Flight of Mummy champagne hit the spot! Always friendly-wish the barstools were a little more comfy but one of my favorite spots!

Our group of four was lucky to get the couches in back, very comfortable. Service was great, selection of wine/drinks was great, little plates were great. The bacon-wrapped chicken with yummy BBQ sauce - oh, yeah!! We will definitely be back. (really enjoy the sense of humor in their decorating choices too!)

What a fun, new place in Vacaville and just two blocks from our house. Friendly owners, fun, small dishes, and local people enjoying good wine. The first time we went. We just went for a glass of wine or two and sat at the low bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. The second time we went for snacks and enjoyed mussels, a charcuterie board that was beautifully done, and a sausage platter. It was fun and just the right amount to eat. We joined the wine club and are so glad we did as we went to the first party and it was Really fun. Great food cooked by the owner chef Blake and great service and good wine and fun people. Be sure to check it out and enjoy this newest attraction and Downtown Vacaville.

Came here with some friends and family and had a great time. The decor is very classy and has a wonderful vibe. The service was excellent. The bartender/waitress was very attentive and very friendly. We ordered a charcuterie board and some soups and they were both very yummy. They have a large variety of wines at reasonable prices. Would definitely come here again.

Vacaville needs and deserves a place like this. Drink before you go out to dinner at one of the restaurants downtown? Check. After dinner drink before you head home? Check. Happy hour apps, delicious menu, lots of wine options at any point in your day/week/month? Check. What I love about this place is that it isn't stuffy. Come as you are and stay as long as you want. The atmosphere is so beautiful, cozy and comfortable and the staff is so accommodating. They have a great wine list as well as beer, seltzers and non alcoholic options. The food menu is weighted more towards seafood but also has other apps, desserts, etc to suit your fancy. The owners are deeply involved in this business and you will likely be greeted or served by one of them if you stop by. Don't miss out on this fabulous gem in downtown Vacaville!

This is the first time in a long time that I've gone to a new place in downtown Vacaville and thought it ticked all the boxes. The owners have done a great job creating a beautiful space with a fun, slightly moody vibe. Great selection of wine. Fantastic service. Really good, Vacaville-appropriate price points. We got the "small" charcuterie board. It was actually pretty big and quite delicious. My sister, who was with me, pointed out that all the other food looked really good coming out of the kitchen as she sneaked a peak at other guests' selections. And she has a judge-y eye for these things. I can't wait to go back. Cheers to the owners on a great start, and all the best wishes for success!

Glad to have this option here in town. Rooting for the main grape! Staff are attentive, warm, and great resource for the wines served. They know their stuff! A true treasure.

VERY RUDE SERVER. When our group was laughing during a conversation they came out from behind the bar and we were shushed. In all my years of being a grown ass adult I have never been shushed. Thanks main grape for allowing the Karen at the bar to navigate your business moves.
