This restaurant offers chef’s special price from Monday to Friday, and when we came here for lobster special price on Thursday, they said they did not provide special price on holiday, which is not mentioned in their policy. If this restaurant cannot afford to offer the special price, then do not provide this special price, ok? I feel very angry and won’t come to this restaurant again!

I heard about this restaurant from a friend, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. First of all, let me clarify that the reason I’m writing this review is to let the restaurant owner know that running a restaurant means you must ensure the food served is safe and properly cooked. At the very least, the dishes brought to the table should be fully cooked. There were just two of us dining, and the server seemed unhappy that we ordered only a few items. It was our first time here, so of course, we wanted to try a few things first and wait for the dim sum carts to come around before ordering more. In the end, after being pressured several times by the server, we ended up ordering five or six kinds of dim sum. One of them was the pineapple bun—the dough inside was still raw, but I didn’t say anything. Then came the chive and shrimp dumplings—the vegetables were hot, but the shrimp was cold, clearly undercooked. I was honestly speechless. I really wonder—was it just bad luck with the chef today? Or is this a common issue? How can things be this unprofessional? I hope the owner can provide an explanation. Thank you.

Even here twice, second time with a large group of 13. We ordered almost everything on the dim sum menu and also Peking duck an fu jian fried rice (the best kind of fried rice, it comes with a gravy, scallops chicken, mushrooms etc). Everything was actually very good. We came early to make sure everything was fresh. The consensus was asian pearl is great and we would all love to return. The Peking duck did not require ordering ahead and was about 41 or 42 dollars for the entire duck. Good Price the quality of the duck was ok, a lot of the skin was crispy and the meat was tender enough, 42 dollars I’d say it was a good deal and worth it. I would not specify this place as highly skilled at Peking duck but I do recommended ordering it because it’s delicious and in expensive. I’d paid much more for terrible Peking duck and this was decent and good price, very reasonable. I remand asian pearl for dim sum and also dinner menu. I cannot wait to return. Come early for dim sum or just order dinner menu if you’re late.

05.01.24 11:30am On the way to South Lake Tahoe we stopped by for lunch at this awesome restaurant find! It's definitely more of a Dim Sum place for lunch as the HUGE restaurant's packed (all Chinese) patrons were mostly eating/choosing dim sum from the ladies serving them in the rolling carts. We had 2x Mongolian Beef dishes + Beef with String Beans plus we requested this dish to be made with the addition of black bean sauce (mom's fave) and which they made perfectly! We also ordered the Seafood & Chive Dim Sum in Egg Wrapper ($7.19=4ct=large, super filled w.plump shrimp=super delicious!) & beef tendon in broth (this was good but we probably wouldn't order it again due to wanting to eat all of their tastier dishes). Hot Tea was fresh and delicious too, came out in a clean large silver pot! All food was exceptionally delicious, clean, fresh, hot, very low oil, not salty, in fact perfectly salted, just a perfect restaurant, though they were PACKED on a Wednesday and so service could use some help though they were quite friendly. Mom asked how long the restaurant has been here and the gentleman in front said 11 years. Mom wishes this restaurant was in San Jose :(. We will be back!!! 05.03.24 Dined here again, ordered same items plus 2x orders of the seafood & chive dim sum & 2x orders of the shrimp & chives dim sum = dim sum is exceptional! We love the food here!

Came here on a Wednesday night. I hadn't been here in like 10 years. Prices are pretty decent considering serving sizes (which are pretty decent). Apparently they have really good roasted squab here, which my grandparents like, but I personally didn't try it. The roast duck was good. Green beans with xo sauce and roast pork, chow mein had good wok hay. Overall was pleasantly surprised. It's a little run down. And it was like 79° in there. Service is good though. They even offered to switch out plates on a normal meal. No soup or dessert included if ordering for the normal menu.

This place serve traditional Cantonese dishes. Overall the dishes are overly seasoned with excess MSG. Otherwise all dishes are pretty good. Dining area is spacious and comfortable. Parking is very easy.

Google
I've been here several times already, and I like their dimsum buffet lunch and regular menu at dinner both. This place is huge, good for birthday or get together party. I wish I could name all the dimsums, but can't 😅 We always get Shui mai, Scallop dumplings, Har gow tho. For dinner, Pecking duck was okay, and their fried rice was good!

Google
Excellent Dim Sum, one of the better places I've been. Pushcarts are abundant but if you need a particular item, just ask and someone will bring it. All the Dim Dum staples are here: chicken feet, shumai, hargow, soup dumplings & taro puffs are particularly good. My favorites were the pork steamed buns and egg custard buns.

Yelp
Dim sum at Asian Pearl is pretty good because they still push the carts around. Recommend the following for dim sum: Cheung fun, pan fried chive dumplings, radish cakes, fried taro. I've also had Lunch and Dinner here, but would only go for dim sum. They have 2 banquet sized ballrooms and the restaurant is massive.

Yelp
First time trying dim sum in Sacramento so I was surprised how good and authentic the dim sum here was! I did opt for Asian Pearl because I remembered the Chinese food being good at a wedding banquet in Fremont area. To my surprise, not only was the dim sum good, they had very attentive customer service and the staffs were all so nice! That was pretty unusual for a Chinese place. I love that they still served dim sum on the cart since SF and the Bay Area no longer had that (or very limited). Reminded me of my childhood growing up in SF. Prices were decent! Carts kept coming so food was quick! My family and friends arrived here around 11:30am on a Sunday and the place was full. Luckily, we were able to get a table to squeeze in a double stroller and high chairs. Instead of giving us a table of four for four adults, they gave us a table of six to sit more comfortable. The workers even told me to push the stroller on the inner side to prevent food carts from getting too close to the infant. Super caring! The dim sum was very tasty! Nothing we ordered here was bad! We ordered one entree of vegetarian noodles, fried eggplants, seven dim sum dishes and two mango desserts. Total came out to be $130 which was cheap in comparison to the Bay Area! Would definitely recommend Asian Pearl in Sac! Some items were super unique too like the biggest pineapple bun (bolo bao) with beef stuffing! Place was lively and not super loud since the restaurant was more narrow shaped. Highly recommend Asian Pearl in Sac!

Yelp
Dim sum at its finest! Nothing fancy, service is spotty, no time for manners, parking is tough, tables are full, bathrooms weren't incredibly clean... PURRRRRFECT!!! Signs of an incredible, legit, and authentic dim sum! Best dim sum we've experienced thus far around the Sacramento and Roseville area. This dim sum felt PRECISELY like the popular one down in Los Angeles' China Town area. Ambience is precisely what you'd expect - fun, chaotic, loud, and 100% delicious!! Want the classic dim sum feel? Go Pearl. Care less about service and you're all about taste? Go Pearl. Want convenient parking with fast entry? Park further away then walk the walk to get to Pearl. Diehard when it comes to beef noodles? Go Pearl. Want to see plenty of carts roll by? You guessed it - Go Pearl. Highly recommended for all foodies near and far!

Yelp
Large banquet sized Cantonese restaurant that serves Dim Sum during the day. The rear section is generally used for banquets and if it's a really large banquet, the movable wall is pushed aside doubling the capacity. We went on a weekday for dim sum, marked seven items for the four of us and had a relaxing non-rushed lunch. Had: Beef Cheong Fun, Har Gouw, Salt & Pepper Squid, Steamed Tripe, Gnee Chee Guow, Fun Guow, Hom Sei Gouk, liked the Fried Squid and Hom Sei Gouk of the seven items. Service is decent, ambiance is airy, food is good.

Yelp
It was good but not great. That being said we'd go back. Parking was plentiful. They are part of a shopping center and have a shared lot. We arrived at 1:30pm two Sundays ago. They had a sign on the door letting everyone know that they are closing at 2:30 due to a wedding. I sort of saw the sign when we walked in, but I didn't take note of the details. It would have been helpful if when they seated us that they informed us of the early closing. And to order everything immediately and then take your time eating. We weren't rushed out per say, but they were busy retrofitting the restaurant for the wedding. They were turning all of the tables to larger tables, by putting on larger table tops and they put chair covers on all the chairs, set the tables, put up curtains, set out the flowers, ect. When we arrived we were seated quickly at a large table for only the two of us. The carts started coming around immediately. There was only 4 carts that kept making there rounds. We got the beef noodle rolls, shrimp dumplings, lotus leaf wrap of sticky rice. We missed the egg custard cart and we had to ask one of the staff to bring it out, which worked well. All of the dim sum was very good and we'd order them again. The downfall was the chow fun we ordered. The beef was inedible. So, that was a big disappointment. Overall it was a good experience for coming right before they closed. I'd go back, but make sure we go during peak hours. I would only eat off the carts and wouldn't order the chow fun again. I look forward to trying more food options on the carts. I was looking forward to the mango buns and the BBQ Pork Boa. I believe during peak hours there are many more carts that make there rounds.

Yelp
Came here for dim sum today at around 10:30am. Restaurant was already busy, but was able to be seated right away. Service was quick and staff were friendly and were efficient and quick with clearing empty plates that were on the table. We ordered the usual dim sum that we tend to get at other places. The dim sum came around the tables by cart. Food was hot/warm. However, we didn't realize how much each dim sum was until after ordering our 4th one when I asked my husband to go grab the dim sum menu by the front reception area. Most of the dim sum we got was between $6.50 to almost $8 each. I have never had dim sum so expensive before! What happened to them being around $4 - $5? Prices have definitely got up! Although everything was good, the prices do deter us from coming here frequently. Our bill for 4 dim sums came out $41 with tips and taxes included.

Yelp
Both kids insisted this was a five star lunch. It was definitely authentic. Everything was fresh and hot. And they didn't disappoint with all the shrimp. We also had mango mochi for the first time where it was fresh cream with real mango bits all wrapped in fresh mochi--so good! Service was excellent and everyone was patient explaining what was in the carts. Wait staff refilled waters and cleared the table often. The lighting and spiace was bright and spacious. It was busy without feeling crammed. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Came by this restaurant for to go ordered. Ordered dim sum, as usual when I'm in Sacramento, I usually order soy sauce chow mein, har gow ( shrimp dumplings) , shrimp noodles , char sui noodles, rice lotus , sui mai ... just to list a view, their dim sum is delicious. Located in little Saigon with other Vietnamese restaurants and shops. Near Tao So restaurant. I can't comments about their services since I ordered to go.

Yelp
Traditional dim sum. It gets very busy on the weekend. If you have a larger group, be prepared to wait. The food was fresh and the carts were well stocked and came by in a regular basis. Very efficient service.

Yelp
This was a very fun experience. The servers bring the food to your table and stamp each item on your paper to track. The service was very quick and they were very attentive. The food was good. My favorite was the tendon. It was very flavorful and tender. The chicken feet was really good too. The tripe and steamed dumplings were a little underwhelming. The steamed was rolls were also good too. The lighting inside was amazing for photos.

Yelp
This restaurant's run by a bunch of liars. My family went for dim sum during dim sum hours in the morning, first on a weekday, then on a Saturday. On the weekday, half the dim sum items on their menu that we ordered were unavailable. They avoided telling us half of our order was unavailable, just brought out the few items that they had handy and pretended they didn't see the other items marked clearly on paper for our order. And when we asked directly about the missing items, they said those items are available only on weekends. So we came back on a weekend (Saturday 12/14/25) to specifically order those items. They said unavailable. We asked what the excuse is this time, the hostess said "oh, um... it sold out... We have it but it sold out, you have to come earlier in the day for that." We pointed out it's still morning on a Saturday, and there aren't many customers currently, how can it be sold out already? The hostess had no answer. We then asked a well-dressed employee, likely a manager, about the items and he said oh we just don't sell those... Wasted our time with their gaslighting shady practices.

Kim B.

Yelp
Second time I've gone there will be absolutely the last no good recommendations here the food was cold they didn't understand there was nobody to speak to the help was non-existent there was a hair in the food the owner manager could care less I don't know how some of these places stay open when they should be closed down disgusting it was also freezing cold in the restaurant beyond gross they need to be having the health department check them out but honestly does not deserve any stars it should be a big zero disgusting

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick birthday lunch. We were seated quickly and offered tea without being told it came with a charge. Service felt rushed and pushy.. our server seemed annoyed we ordered light and kept pressuring us to get more. We ordered a few items, but one never showed up after 45 minutes. The food we did get was so salty it felt like a prank... I started to feel really sick and I realized some dishes were cold or undercooked, and even the tea cups were dusty. Plates were taken while we were still eating, which made the whole experience feel rushed and awkward.

Yelp
I haven't been to Asian Pearl for dim sum before--I usually come here for weddings or events. My family and I decided to stop by for dim sum, and the service was quick with a wide variety of dishes. Everything we tried was great, but I especially enjoyed the egg tart and roasted duck. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The restaurant is huge with a lot of seating. The Dim sum was somewhat decent. Some are better than others like the roast duck and siu mai. I definitely had higher quality dim sum, but this does the job in hitting that craving I had. The pork spare ribs you could skip, nothing special about that one. Xao long bao is your typical XLB; doesn't really stand out as well. Chicken feet was somewhat decent, nice soy sauce flavor. I would highly recommend the roast duck here. It was by far the best dish I got here and it was super tender and flavorful. Service is your typical dim sum service; you would have to flag down a waiter/waitress. Good place to get dim sum if you're nearby Elk Grove.
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
We are not strangers to dim sum, so we decided to try this place. It was so cold and windy outside, and they sat us by the door which froze us. That was very unpleasant. But this place was slammin'. They food never stops coming around. The workers are always busy. It is hard to understand what they are offering you to eat, but I guess that is how you try things. We have been to other dim sum places, and this one seemed a little more expensive than our normal place, and they didn't seem to have as much, unless those carts just didn't make it to us. What we did get, we enjoyed. It was a little far away from home to travel to, but if we go to that area, we would go there again.
google avatar

Yelp
It was once our favorite restaurant, but the overall experience has degraded over these years. The price is much higher now, some more than doubled, but the quality dropped to a level that is way below the previous perception. In particular, the simmered black bass doubled in price, but the quality dropped so badly, I can do way better myself. It was a mistake to go this time. Not worthy. There are much better choices.
google avatar

Patsy L.

Yelp
This restaurant is huge. Great for a wedding reception or a big event as they have 2 huge flat screen TVs and a kareoke machine. What I love about this place is that they push carts around with dim sum so you can see and pick what you want. That's rare these days as most give you a menu and you mark what you want. The service was fine. No complaints. The food was good and tasty. There was about 8-10 of us and everyone liked the food. I would come back here again. Highly recommend for authentic Chinese dim sum.
google avatar

Yelp
Having been here for years, can't say the best but in sac area it is the only one choice taste not bad.. but the price is much higher than others,

Yelp
I came here with a bunch of Yelp friends to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The place was already packed with diners and it was only a few minutes after opening. The place is ginormous! The friendly ladies came around with the carts. I'm sorry I was so busy eating that I didn't get a chance to take pics! The ten of us tried meat buns, Shumai, Har Gow, potstickers, chicken feet, duck, lobster noodles (special order), mango mochi balls, mango piggy, etc. You can also order food from the kitchen which we did for the lobster noodles. The service was great and the food was fantastic! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Favorite dim sum restaurant in the local area! Took my family here (15 ppl). They also loved it! This restaurant still offers cart service. Quality of dim sum is great. Fresh and tastes delicious ! You can also host banquets here as well. Would def come back!

Yelp
Food doesn't taste as good as if you were to dine in. The service is fast and friendly. Great for big parties. Dim sum on the weekends gets ready busy.

Yelp
Asian Pearl is excellent. We knew by the mid to poor reviews that the food here was going to be good! (Dim sum restaurants are notorious for their questionable service but that aura of confusion makes for a more genuine experience, lol). No wait on a Saturday lunch for a party of 5, so we were promptly seated after calling in to check. The roast pork is excellent--especially for a dim sum restaurant. It tasted decadent and rich without being sickly overpowering. There was a healthy balance of fat to meat and the top was crunchy! I couldn't help but continue reaching back for it every couple table go arounds. It tasted fresh and not stale, which was rather unexpected due to the nature of dim sum sometimes. The portion was healthy and satisfyingly shareable. Good amount of meat on the pork spareribs which is my partners favorite. Beef rice roll left room to be desired. Chicken feet were tasty! Good balance of sweet and savouriness and cooked to perfection! Ambiance is like having lunch with your boisterous asian family like any other dim sum restaurant. The space itself is very spacious and can accommodate for weddings. Everything was clean and bright! This is a wonderful place to take relatives for lunch.

Thao N.

Yelp
My family and I dine at Asian Pearl restaurant on Saturday, September 6, and all dinner entrees were excellent. Service was attentive. Would prefer crispy chicken but wife wanted steamed chicken. Dinner bill was fair giving high minimum wages. Would definitely comes back for dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is good. Much better than other location. It's very hard to park in weekends , but price is little bit overpriced for veggies and hot tea. They charge hot tea by person $3 each no matter you drink or not. Good to know about this. , I will skip the tea next time. Also veggies item. $25 for veggies is too much.

Yelp
This is one of the main places to visit for dim sum or for an Asian style wedding. There is a lot of space inside, so it can hold a lot of people for parties or large groups. The service is the standard Asian style service, it's either good or bad. Sometimes you'll get your request fulfilled, sometimes you won't. For example we had to ask multiple times, like about 4 times, for cups of water before we were given anything. For dim sum it can be a hit or miss with the restating carts because the first half of the dining experience we got many people passing us, then for the second half we didn't have anyone come by our table. Food is usually always consistent and never misses.
google avatar

Victoria T.

Yelp
I've been here frequently for dim sum and for multiple weddings. We enjoy the variety of dishes they have. This is a popular restaurant and always busy so be prepared to come early or endure a long wait. With that, they have a big parking lot in this plaza but you may have to park further away since it's always busy. Sometimes service is decent and some days it's not. There are times where we have to ask for items multiple times because they're so busy. We also have to frequently remind them to not charge the whole table for tea since only the adults drink tea and not the younger kids.
google avatar

Sophia V.

Yelp
Visited on a leisurely Sunday afternoon; pre-11am tranquility turned into a bustling brunch spot closer to noon. The parking lot is a labyrinth, but hey, it's vast! Now, the service--requested a dipping sauce bowl, got a mini drama. The server presented regular bowls with an extra side of attitude. Not the spice I ordered. Enjoyed a decent meal, though the carts played hide-and-seek with our table. Also, had a "steep" revelation: hot tea comes with a $2-per-person price tag. Brew-tea-ful surprise, right?

Yelp
Food was yummy , the fish and lobster is highly recommended. The service was good too

Yelp
I haven't been here for a few years. Came here on a Saturday with some friends, 7 of us. We got here at 10am, when the place opens. No waiting. I think that would be the best time to come for any Dim Sum place. Dim Sum places are always busy on the weekends. You always end up waiting for a table. The Dim Sum was ok. Some dishes are good and some were not that great. I thought the Har Gow and Siu mi was ok. I've had better. These two dishes are the most popular dishes for Dim Sum. The Fried Taro was bland, no flavor. The Egg tarts was pretty good. The steam Char Shiu bow was not good. The meat was dry. When I think about it, Dim Sum places in Sac are hit or miss. They do some dishes well, some dishes are ok, and some dishes are not good. I haven't been to a place in Sac that everything at that Dim Sum tasted great. Service not great. I guess that is the norm for dim sum. If you need something, you always have to flag someone down. They don't check on you. They do come around clearing empty dishes, but nothing more.
google avatar

Chau T.

Yelp
I completely agree with the person who said, "DO NOT EAT HERE." The food quality is bad, and the service is horrible. Yesterday (New Year's Eve), my family and I came here for dim sum, and we had to deal with a rude waitress. She was an older lady with short hair and spoke to us in Vietnamese with a northern accent. The dim sum came out very slowly, and there wasn't much variety. We asked for the fried shrimp balls, but after waiting 20-30 minutes, we gave up. The waitress told us we would be charged if we didn't stay and wait another 10-15 minutes. We decided to be patient and waited, but after another 15 minutes, no food came. When we asked again, the waitress had a bad attitude and told us to wait another 5-10 minutes. We decided not to argue with such an unprofessional person, but we will never come back here.
google avatar

Duane L.

Yelp
Surprised to find a dim sum spot that still push the carts around with the dishes. Most bay area spots have gone completely to ordering off a menu with a handful of dishes being walked around. They had most of the standard dim sum dishes. Even got some animal shaped dishes like the mango pudding. Def one to go to again

Yelp
Disgusting Experience - Never Again at Asian Pearl We were in the mood for breakfast and wanted something with lots of options, so we decided to stop by Asian Pearl for dim sum. I hadn't been here in a long time, and thought it would be nice to revisit. The food was okay--nothing impressive, definitely not something that would make me want to return. But what completely ruined the experience--and guaranteed I will never come back--was what I witnessed with the porridge/congee cart. A server was handing out porridge to a nearby table when a plastic spoon accidentally fell onto the floor. Instead of throwing it away like any decent restaurant would do, she picked it up, wheeled the cart to the back (towards the kitchen), and then proceeded to place that dirty floor spoon into the chopped green onion bowl on the cart--as if nothing had happened. Disgusting. I told another server who was pushing the cart around about what I saw. I had to repeat myself twice, and she still just ignored me and continued serving other tables--including ours--like I hadn't said anything. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I've been dining out for over 20 years, and I've seen a lot--but this was outrageous. Basic hygiene was completely ignored, and the staff acted like it was no big deal. That is absolutely unacceptable. Ambience 7/10 Customer Service 5/10 Food -10/10

Yelp
Came here for lunch around 12 on sunday, it was pretty busy like most tables were full but we got one luckily. Uhh first the plates cups and chopsticks were like pretty dirty, like u can see stuff on it which wasnt the best "first" impression. The food overall was pretty mid lol. We tried a good amount of stuff and nothing was like super impressive or my favorite. Usually i like the salted runny egg yolk bao but it wasnt as good for some reason. The salty dimsum was pretty average too. We also wanted to try the durian puffs because we like it last time which was a long while ago. This time was honestly so bad. It look really good but it like didnt have enough sugar to balance out the durian flavor and jus like not enough sweetness, kinda bland. And the swan head was also not good lol idk if ur supposed to eat it or not. Service is whatever, dont expect like actual service because everyones busy walking around or with carts if food. But thats just how dimsum works. Uhh probably wouldnt go again unless like a very special occasion because dimsums not my favorite things to eat, also super expensive and not that filling unless u order alot. Our total for 6 ppl was 150$ for 19 dishes.

Yelp
Quick seating, food is fresh and everything we had was flavorful. The staff here is also patient with indecisive guest.

Yelp
I have been here MULTIPLE times for dim sum and for normal dinner and it never disappoints. I've gone in big groups and with just two people and the service is always the same. The workers are all very attentive and check on us a lot. They work very fast paced and always get your food to you quickly. The place is huge and recommended for events like weddings or parties. I would recommend this place if anyone is looking for good dim sum in Sacramento.

Yelp
This is our go to spot within our group. Just gotta come here early enough to not have a long wait. They always have enough hot sauce for our group because we love hot sauce on our dimsum. Chicken feet, spare ribs, siu Mai all good.

Yelp
I was in the area visiting friends and they recommended Asian Pearl Restaurant for dim sum. I went on a Sunday morning. Although there are many parking spaces, it was difficult to find a parking spot. I had trash from the car and there were no trash cans at this plaza. I'm just really surprised that there is no where for you to throw trash. We were seated right away for a table of four. I rely on my friends who speak the language to help with ordering. It was nice to see carts with food vs. ordering from the menu. Sometimes they can't hear you so be sure to speak up if you want something from the cart. After trying all of these dishes I must say the flavor is lacking. Although I didn't love the food here, the local seems to love this spot.

Yelp
This place is very popular amongst the Asian community and you know that it's the real deal when most the restaurant tables are filled with asians. Sometimes the food is a hit and miss but because we went on a busy Saturday afternoon, all the dishes came out super hot this time! The Siu Mai, Lo Saa Bao, and pai gwut, was delicious today. They also try to add in new things like a crème brûlée but it tastes like a Portuguese egg tart, without the crust ahaha. I would recommend that if that's what you're into! Just don't expect nice service, they just want to get things done and will do it efficiently. I have no problem with that since they do it well. As for costs... I broke down what I ordered and it's as follows: Hot Tea: $2 a person E: $5.88 F: $6.68 K: $8.58 This time around it was $28 a person before tip! It's still a staple restaurant in the Sacramento area.

Yelp
Probably the busiest dim sum place of all places in Sacramento. My family are Hong Kongers so dimsum is a must. If there's a HUGE line, my advice is to stand in line immediately when you walk in. The line is to put yourself on the waitlist. Extremely busy. But busy is good right? Dim sum came rolling out super fresh and in good enough intervals. I had to call for service several times since it was busy, they forgot to serve us our drinks in the beginning. Familiarize yourself beforehand with the common dim sum dishes so you can point to what you want as the English spoken there will be minimal. Also, get good at flagging down the people with carts if your table gets missed. My utmost advice to you is to check your stamp card and see if they correctly stamped the right amount of plates you've gotten. They actually gave us more stamps than the dishes we've gotten but we got it situated when we pointed it out. Just remember to be courteous about it. The dim sum was good, the presentation for the most part was amazing and most items were in stock. My favorites would have to be the har gow and the char siu baos. Char siu baos are the best I've ever had. They do have cute mango pudding, enticing enough for kids to grab. I believe if you want more of the fried items like the fried shrimp balls, you have to request it to be made. If you are seeking dimsum, it's best to come during noon. It's uncommon for dimsum to be served after 3pm so it's best to come before then. Best enjoyed with a crowd.

Yelp
3.5 star. Dim sum was pretty decent. The cart ladies come by often but didn't have all the ones we wanted so it took several tries. Service wasn't bad. We usually get all the common ones, har gow, pork spare ribs, shrimp rolls, bao buns, sui mai and chicken feet. Sui Mai wrap was a little dry and you can see it. Chicken feet were good. The spare ribs had taro or potato thingie that I didn't like. Overall damage for 3 people was about $60. Place was packed on a Saturday noonish but no wait.

Yelp
I normally never post reviews, but this was such a bad experience. There's a lady (her name is Annie or something similar) who seems to manage the floor, and her service is terrible. She's very rude and does things with an attitude. When I asked her to refill the pepper container, she snatched it out of my hand and left. She ignored us when we were flagging her down when every other server was busy and she was not. She also rushed us to order and started treating us worse after we ordered only 5 dishes for our table of 8. As if there's something wrong with that?! Food overall was okay. Might just not return if I get treated like that. Left a bad taste in my mouth after that kind of service.

Yelp
I grew up coming here. Great food, great service, great vibes. Good for dim sum. Good for lunch and dinner. An institution. I'll probably get married here.

Yelp
Asian Pearl is now my go to dim sum place again for the last couple of years. The har gow, siu mai, chicken feet, are always on point. They seem to be the most consistent now in terms of dim sum flavor. Service is what it is for a Chinese place. If the service is good at a Chinese place then usually the food is not as good. It's filled at lunch with Chinese people, loud, and bustling as a good dim sum place should be.

Yelp
Elders wanted to meet up and eat dim sum... and they like Asian pearl.. so we are here.. Food was good, some stuff were kind of warm. Ordered all the typical dim sums. The one that I like the most was the scallop shrimp dumplings. Service was good, and fast. The only thing that was bad was that toward the end when we received the bill was doubled lol. We had 12 stamps but charged 24.. we were like "I don't recall eating 24 dishes". They gladly look at the check and changed it back to 12 dishes instead, we were able to save about $130 before leaving the restaurant. Tip: always check your check before paying!

Yelp
The tea here costs 2$, but we never asked for the tea. Also, we refilled it once and they charged 6$ instead of 4$. We ordered small dishes and the bill was 110$. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Very good dim sum! They have some unique items. Staff pushes food carts around. Big place so we didn't have to wait for a table. Dim sum is fresh and warm. We came here Saturday at 10:45am. Service was fast and attentive. Parking lot is shared with other businesses.

Yelp
This is LA/Bay Area authentic Chinese food in the greater Sacramento area. Had Chinese New Year dinner here w/ my family, and it was fantastic. Prices were a bit high (they were also doing banquet style for the New Year), but the flavors and the dishes/selection were excellent. Overall great fresh seafood choices, not overly salty, oily, or greasy. They have menus in both English and all-Chinese here, so you know it's authentic and perfect for Chinese parents who are visiting from out of town. Huge banquet hall with plenty of seating. We made reservations but they honestly probably weren't necessary even for the New Year. It's a little closer than some of the restaurants in Elk Grove - definitely will save on our list.
