Bánh cuốn Ông Tới

I came here because I saw the recommendation in the Lonely Planet. This place serves only one type of dish: banh cuon; rice noodles rolls stuffed with minced meat and mushrooms, topped with fried shallots. I was staring at the menu, which was only in Vietnamese. Before I knew it the lady gestured me to sit down and food was served. And oh, it was good. Loved it. I was the only one here by the way. Service was decent and straight to the point, don't expect any whistles or bells. Price was just 40k VND, so super cheap.

The food is very delicious. I love the soft texture of the rice rolls, they pair perfectly with the crispy garlic and side soup/dipping. The owners are very friendly too. The price is very fair. Must-try!!

Insanely good. Best banh cuon I’ve ever had and dear lord I’ve had plenty in my life. They got the rice paper sooo thin and sooo soft i was like shoveling it into my mouth

Walked pass here while looking for another banh cuon place but that was closed. Then we just picked a place where most locals are. They don’t have English menu or speak English but it’s fine as they only have a few items to choose from. They are very nice and helpful. We ordered 2 rice rolls and shrimp cake soup with 2 ice tea. Delicious and it’s only 120,000 dongs! On top of that we had an experience of eating on the road right alongside with the traffic!

They only serve banh cuon here and it’s delicious! I ended up here by chance and loved it so much I ordered two plates. (Should’ve stuck to one but couldn’t help myself… life lesson 😅) The ladies here are very efficient and attentive.
