Love this restaurant! Delicious food and friendly service. Always leave happy and satisfied. We eat here anytime we are in the area because from the chips and salsa to the main entree we are always very satisfied. I love the birria tacos and my husband loves the birria ramen noodles. Highly suggest! We’ve only ever sat down and ate but we see people getting take out all the time. Prices are good.

Visited La Marketa restaurant the other day, I was impressed by the grocery store which had great grocery options, including fresh made tortillas and many other Mexican specialty items and what looked like a very nice fresh butcher section (carnicería). The restaurant was super clean with plenty of seating and the service was very attentive, friendly and nice. For my dinner I opted to order a la carte and get a steak burrito, steak taco and a birria taco. Everything was okay but honestly I felt like the meat needed more seasoning and flavor.

Recently ate here for lunch. First time visiting, the atmosphere is very welcoming, inviting and its clean. We ordered a Torta and 3 Carne Tacos. Fresh Salsa and warm chips were brought out to us. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh cilantro and onions for my tacos and crispy fries served with the Torta. Would highly recommend this place and we will be back to try more items off the menu.

We visited La Marketa restaurant last week. The space is clean, bright, and inviting. Our server was so attentive, friendly and kind. The food was excellent! We both had tacos; camarones, al pastor, and birria. All were so good! Real al pastor with pineapple in it, super fresh shrimp, and some of the best birria I have had. At our request, they brought us a generous portion of the consomme to dip the birria tacos in. All this for a very reasonable price. Oh and the guys in the kitchen making the food were really friendly, and make some delicious meals for us. And the salsa and sauces are on point!

Fantastic food! My husband and I both had the asada tacos. The meat was super tender and flavorful. They provided salsa and chips on arrival, and a bottle of red and green salsa once the tacos arrived. Shout out to Jaqueline, our waitress! She was very attentive, super friendly, and made a fantastic margarita! We will definitely be back to try more things.

What a hidden gem! Excellent spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Huge menu, great prices, and delicious food. We’ve also gotten items from their market to make more authentic Mexican dinners and those were all great too! Highly recommend overall.

28.00 for a deluxe burrito, It included a Mexico Coke, and a recommended by staff shot of tequila (not even top shelf) Still 28 DOLLARS!!! AND IT WAS NOT EVEN DELUXED! DAMN MY LUCK!!! After tasting, stick with chubbys or taco bell!! You'll save $$$. Just very expensive for the lack of food you get. Not a speck of green chili in sight. And very strong on the tomato. Not very green on the GREEN chili at all, extremely heavy on the tomato almost spaghetti sauce!!! Only as good as the cook preparing the food, the name is good, food needs work! CHUBBY'S 72nd and federal for better quality fast food. Even any taco bell offers better value. I'm all about supporting local businesses, just give me something worthy of supporting!!! Not a plug for chubbys, there is tamale kitchen, taco bell, Chipotle, etc....... for the $$$$$ consider reconsidering

Friendly people with pretty good food! I had the Al Pastor tacos & the meat was tender & succulent. I will be back to try other menu items. Oh & their meat in the market looks good quality as well as fresh I will get some homemade Chorizo next visit also.

You want authentic Mexican fare? This place was a really nice surprise. The Quesobirria tacos were THE BOMB. Go figure, half this space is a carneceria, so we figured those would be a safe bet. Delicious!! Also had a smothered sausage breakfast burrito, that was also very good. Give these guys a shot; you'll leave a satisfied diner!

This is authentic Mexican food. Very good food and friendly staff. The place has fresh food, butcher shop and market place. Good vibe.

our new go to menudo spot! we stopped by for breakfast and it was tasty! the menudo is pretty good with lots of flavor. I had a mimosa which was okay, it definitely had an artificial OJ juice flavor to it. the chips and salsa were also tasty. It's a mom and pop place so it might be a bit on the slower side. However the waitress got our order within a reasonable time.

This spot is amazing. The food is top notch, this style of Mexican food is something lacking in all of Colorado. Growing up in Southern California I have high standard and this place hits the mark. The food is at a reasonable price, and it's delicious. The service was friendly, quick, and they let me add my items from the market into my bill at the restaurant. The Al Pastor meat and tortillas tasted amazing the next day when I cooked it at home for dinner. We ordered tacos - All Pastor, Adobada, Asada, Birria, Chicken. Churros with ice cream - to take home Tortillas and Al Pastor mear from the market. I will be coming back for the food and market.

This is honestly the best new mom-and-pop Mexican in the area. The prices are better than the drive-thrus. Their smothered burritos keep our family going back! The breakfast is amazing as well! Ask for their house green and red hot sauces! Its new, so its not well known and tables are easy to find, especially compared to other Mexican breakfast joints in the area.

What an amazing addition to the neighborhood! I love having the market nearby, but the food in the restaurant is also fantastic. The ceviche tostadas are excellent, and both the La Marketa and Cielo Mar y Tierra are huge and cooked to perfection. We've also purchased the prepared raw fajitas to cook at home and they are fantastic!

It's hard to find decent Mexican food in the Denver area. This one is very good! The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes were great. You can order food at the restaurant or go to the attached meat market and get meat to go.

Fresh. Cheap. Great service and big portions for the price. The salsa was super fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back!

We went in to buy some meat and we got the un marinated beef because the price per pound was 10.99 and the marinated beef was 11.99. When we went to check out we got charged 11.99 and their reasoning was the prices was swapped. Have honest pricing

So happy to have this authentic and delicious spot open in our neighborhood. Everything I have tried is delicious, the staff is friendly and they offer a great variety. We have made this place a part of our regular dining out rotation and you should too.

La Marketa recently opened near my home and I was so excited to visit. Not only is it a restaurant but also a meat market with a variety of meats and other food. I have tried the torta de asada and quesabirria tacos and they were delish!! The owner and staff were wonderfully nice and really welcoming. I will definitely be coming back for more food and snacks!

I have eaten here several times and I highly recommend both the restaurant and the meat market. I have had the quesobirrias twice and they are fantastic. Big portions and excellent flavor. Their house salsa is above average with fine flavor and a bit of heat, but not too hot. I have gone for breakfast and the breakfast burrito was delicious and HUGE. Only able to eat half, and after taking it home it was enough for two more breakfasts! We buy our pork and ground beef here now. Their pork chops have much more flavor than the big grocery store chains. They're also juicer and more tender than any I have had in a long time. Their ground beef tastes like BEEF, not the bland stuff from KS or Wal-Mart or Safeway. And-their prices are comparable, too. Good value! Both the restaurant and market are sparkling clean and the staff friendly and provide good service. It's a gem and I'm so happy I only live a couple of miles away-it's a great addition to the area!

10/10 I grew up in Arizona in a Mexican household, so my expectations are reasonably high. In the last 3 years of living in Colorado I searched high and low for a solid breakfast burrito. And let me just say people, this is the best breakfast burrito in the state. Hands down. Please continue supporting this business. I'll be back at least once a week forever.

We have been searching for a family owned Mexican spot for a while. 3 Margaritas went way down hill, Coronas near by is a joke and we thought we found a new place at Salsas but they lost their liquor license. Came here and bought from the meat market and made awesome burritos. Came back the next day and had margaritas and combo meals. I saw the bartender make the margs from scratch and they were excellent. The guy that greets you when you walk in was super cool and the food was fckn amazing. We liked the look of the market and restaurant. Will be back many times!

Great food and service. Tried the quesobirrias - highly recommend! Will visit again! Looking forward to trying some other menu items on a future visit.

The La Marketa is very clean, the service is impeccable. The queso Asada birria tocos and asada birria tocos were not salty and the consumne had so much flavor and just the right amount of spicy heat. They don't under serve you and the food is very affordable. I would recommend this place over any other in the area.

Wife and I decided to try this place after hearing a lot of buzz about it from the neighbors. I had the carne asada plate and she had a milenesa torta. They were delicious and portions were generous! Service was excellent; the whole family chipped in to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant and meat market are very clean; and my wife liked the selfie station. I came back a few days later and picked up some chorizo to make with breakfast over the holidays. Flavor was more mild than I had expected, but we enjoyed and it helped make our season bright! We'll be back soon.

Bad news !! I got food poisoning on my first and ONLY visit to the restaurant !! Meat in the market looked dried out

Being from Texas, I will say this is a southwest Mexican food place and not Tex-Mex. I had the beef enchiladas and thought they were very tasty and everything tasted fresh. Prices were very reasonable and I will be going back
