"With palm trees swaying above and Camelback Mountain soaring in the distance, this pool strikes a balmy medium between party vibes and relaxation. There are cabanas, plenty of lounges, and a hot tub. Guests sip frozen classics (daiquiris and margs) and new creations (a Key lime pie concoction with vodka and ice cream). Food includes crowd pleasers like chicken tinga tacos, shawarma, and truffle fries. Some evenings, live music drifts over from the happy hour on the patio of Andaz’s Restaurant, Weft and Warp Art Bar and Kitchen. "If you weren’t looking for it, you’d likely never know that tucked behind a large shopping center and some residential buildings lies this gem of a resort. The Andaz—a sprawling, low-profile resort mainly made up of individual bungalow-style rooms—sets itself apart from other resorts in the area in part with its heavy focus on art of all kinds. Local craftspeople created much of what you see on the property and the resort offers guests both art classes as well as tours of a nearby artists’ compound that it has a close partnership with.
