My experience has taken a disappointing turn. The owner and manager's unfortunate arrogance, poor management, and lack of respect for their customers have made it clear that they don't value the people who support their business:
This place requires a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, but cancels appointments less than 2 hours before appointment time. This has happened on multiple occasions all on flimsy excuses, with an impersonal email, while you have already planned your day. Once or twice is understandable, but repeated instances demonstrate a lack of professionalism and disregard for customers' time (I tolerated this many times over the years) - and they call their last-minute cancellations a "policy", while it is a pattern.
Instead of making efforts to retain customers or offer any meaningful resolution, when I finally spoke up, The "manager" working that day right off the bat suggested that I take my business elsewhere, canceled all my future appointments, and deactivated my account as retaliation. My effort to reach the manager was ignored, and they chose to communicate solely over email. The tone was combative and filled with attitude; the manager even lied about the reasons for my past appointment cancellations (see screenshot). There was no accountability and they made no effort to accommodate the customer - there's only immediate defensiveness, dysfunctional communication, and punitive measures for voicing concerns - all on top of yet another last-minute cancellation. Rather than valuing customers and handling things differently, they chose to push them away.
When I reported this incident to the owner Rani, rather than addressing my concern, she demanded that I take down my online review in exchange for continued service. When I refused, she aligned with the manager and reinforced severing the relationship (adding, "we wish you the best in your future endeavors"). She also refused to acknowledge the manager's behaviors or take any accountability. This business has failed to uphold even basic professionalism and courtesy. The owner only cares about herself.
