I visited the famous Café Baba because of Anthony Bourdain, and it had a very relaxed atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed my mint tea and cigarette with views of the medina in front of me.

Exactly how you want it to be, peaceful chilled vibes, great views and extremely welcoming. I was made to feel like family. The history and legacy of of the place just adds to experience

I had to come here as an homage to the late Anthony Bourdain! The mint tea was amazing! Views were great and the vibe feels historic!

A really cool historic cafe with pictures of famous visitors along the walls. It’s been family-owned for generations, and the current owner is very kind. Tea is 20 dh.

Café Baba in the Medina of Tangier, Morocco, was a favorite haunt of the Rolling Stones in 1966-1967. Parts of the 2012 Jim Jarmusch movie "Only lovers left alive" were filmed here.

Nice café with a lot of history. Unfortunately the waiter tried to cheat me with the change. When I let him know he didn’t apologise ( as you would expect if it was a genuine mistake) but acted like he knew and it was intentional… It’s a shame that amazing places like this are let down by employees that don’t care and just seek to make a few extra dirhams out of tourists….
