Service. Food. Personality. Menu. Everything was spot on at this downtown, well know Midland establishment. A delightful American Bistro: A huge hand-carved antique mahogany bar and pressed tin ceilings, among other antiques, add atmosphere to this downtown restaurant and bar. We proudly serve Steaks, Seafood, Chicken, Sunday Brunch, and other great dishes. Ask your server for our daily specials as well.

I popped in a Sunday to try out their brunch. I must say I was very impressed. From the start, the staff were friendly and attentive. The bartender handled all orders including an allergy hiccup. Their fruit salad bar was delish! I ended up choosing the Eggs Benedict and would have finished it had I not felt overly stuffed from the fruit & bread. I highly recommend for brunch.

Google
Great dinner in a historical unpretentious atmosphere with delicious steaks and seafood. Service was excellent and the dinner was amazing. Will definitely return with our next visit to Midland.

Google
Top notch steak and seafood. Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the mignon & shrimp; the steak was grilled to perfection and the shrimp were delightful. 10/10, would visit again

Google
This is a Very nice place to go to... Great Hole in the Wall Rustic Saloon feel with the Antique Bar, Simple Table and chairs... The Bar is Amazing 😍 Drink prices were reasonable and My Waiter John did a great job and always checked on me almost every time he walked through his service area. Food a bit pricey but you're in the City... It was worth coming here for the fast and Friendly Service and great food. I do suggest that they consider putting a little bit of Avocado 🥑 in the Mexican Cocktail to balance the spice. I'm a Top 10 Reviewer for Google maps with over 33 million Views on Google Maps, and I highly recommend this place !!! Keep up the great work.

Nobu, that's M.

Google
This restaurant is a quagmire of impossibilities!! Is it a restaurant??? Or is it a bar!? Is it fine dining or is it superb pub food?!?! Is this a restaurant that launders money for the mafia!?! Is it simply an outstanding wine house!?!? Well, I’ll tell you what people- all of the above are true except for the mafia thing…. And I guess that could be true as the bartender looked a little dangerous…. This place has GREAT SUPERB INCREDIBLE FOOD!!!! Get off your tail this instant and try them out! You guys will be emailing me “thank yous”! Really well run establishment. Edit/update- went to the bar. The bar is 6 stars!

Google
Wall Street Bar & Grill is a great place to eat. The food was excellent and service was great! The menu has a variety of food from steaks, seafood, and salads. The building has that old look and feel to it reminiscent of the old western days. I had grilled quail and it was top notch with a nice, smokey flavor, my wife had cilantro chicken which was juicy and flavorful. The drink menu included a $250 bottle of wine so be ready this place is on the pricey side. I would suggest dressing up a little to eat here....most people were in business attire. Great place to bring a date or your business partners!

Google
Excellent!!! The food, service and ambiance were fantastic. We were a large group (40+) and they were able to handle us perfectly 👌 We will be back the next time we are in Midland.

Yelp
So service isn't the best. The staff is always busy talking to each other. But the food is pretty good for a neighborhood restaurant we walk to. I wish I could rate it higher but honestly we have been several times and not treated well for 2 people at the bar. All in all is an ok spot for downtown.
google avatar

Charles W.

Yelp
grilled redfish with crawfish ettouffe made by lalo in the kitchen and an amazing jack and coke from autumn at the bar!

Yelp

Yelp
This is my favorite place to eat GOOD food & to sit at the Bar & drink a Martini or a Brandy Alexander! So good! I read the recent positive reviews, of which I agree, but the reviews that are negative I don't agree with nor do I understand. I mean, if you're not getting waited on then move to another area of the restaurant or go sit at the Bar or go tell theManagement. I mean I'm a proactive diner, so I don't ever have a bad meal. With that said as to my favorite foods: the chicken fried steak is very good. The trout is very good. I get them medium well, the mashed potatoes are really good, the halibut stuffed with crabcakes is really good, and their Sunday brunch is super delicious, with cinnamon rolls and fruit bowls and tons of stuff on the menu. So, if you want to Restaurant and Bar where you can to go hang out and enjoy the food and the company, give it a try.

Renee R.

Yelp
Always spot on and consistent my favorites are the grilled shrimp, spinach, steaks and orange roughy étouffée.

Yelp
What isn't to like about this locally owned joint? Fantastic service, food and drinks. The free bread and $5.00 unlimited bleu cheese balsamic salad to start is a must. I always go for the southern fried chicken with a side of asparagus. Perfectly crunchy and moist chicken. Plus the gravy? Unreal. Everything else is great on the menu including the steaks. Don't sleep on that cilantro pasta either.
google avatar

Katelyn W.

Yelp
Imagine a succulent dish of juicy cilantro chicken served atop a bed of perfectly cooked linguini pasta, accompanied by tender asparagus spears. The vibrant flavors of the cilantro-infused chicken mingle with the delicate strands of pasta, creating a symphony of taste and texture on your palate. Each bite is a delightful blend of savory chicken, fragrant herbs, and al dente pasta, making every mouthful a culinary adventure. Or indulge in the roasted chicken. Picture tender pieces of chicken, roasted to golden perfection on top of a veggie medley, served alongside crispy golden potato wedges. For dessert have the rich chocolate-covered ice cream dubbed the golden brick. The decadent sweetness of the chocolate-covered ice cream, creating a delightful experience that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Delicious every time. I love the old bar and atmosphere. Some of my favs are the Sangrias, crab cakes, dinner salad with blue cheese, kabobs, and The Gold Brick dessert.
google avatar

B H.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years and have had good service and great food each time. Steak, quail, chicken fried steak and salmon are superb. Sunday brunch has excellent cinnamon rolls and spinach omelets. The goldbrick sundaes are really good as well.

Rubin R.

Yelp
Server is always prompt to take your order and requests. Chicken fried steak is the best in midland. A loaded baked potato is provided with no extra charge.
google avatar

Satoshi N.

Yelp
We enjoyed the food we had there, they were pretty busy that night, very nice old fashioned bar that looked like an antique. I will be going back to check i out again

Byron E.

Yelp
Was ok for what it was bar is good food was ok rooms were decent but no refrigerator in them

Blanca C.

Yelp
I would love to tell you about the food, but after an hour and a half of waiting for our meal and seeing others who were seated after us being served their order with the same item I had requested, we decided to ask for our check and leave. To make matters worse, our check had items we hadn't been served. I asked to speak to the manager and was informed he was too busy to speak to me. We were told we didn't have to pay for our drinks (juice and coffee). How gracious!
google avatar

Suzanne E.

Yelp
We had lunch here on Tuesday before heading to the golf course. Service was great and the good delicious including the ice tea. I recommend the fried chicken!! There was another review about limited items for picky eaters. These days, all restaurants have their menu posted. No fair dinging a place because they don't have what you like. Plan ahead and do your research. If we get back to Midland we'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We ate here last night and my son and I both got sick. The only thing we both ate was salad and the guy next to us at the bar found a ladybug in his salad. When I called to inform them all the lady said was I'm sorry, maybe we can do something for you next time you come in. After throwing up all night, we have no intention of ever going back. She didn't offer to comp any of our meal. Nothing! And the rest of the food was pretty much awful as well. My husband only ate half of his fried chicken and my son said the fish he was served was not catfish . Bad experience and waste of $110.

Yelp
A downtown bar & Grill like the old intra city neighbors of Boston, New York and Chicago. Great food At old times prices. Everything was perfect, from the bread to the salad and on to the entree the steak tips and the key lime pie was the best I've ever had. Oh yeah the coffee was top notch was well.

Anna E.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent! I loved that they had such an extensive seafood menu. We had the trout and salmon and both were well prepared. I wanted a little vegetable on the side and in retrospect should probably have ordered it. Our waiter, Reese was very attentive and polite . We shall be back!

M P.

Yelp
We went to this place tonight and was seated right away. They were not busy. We waited for 15 minutes, and we're never approached by wait staff. We got up and left. I watched 2 other couples come in, get seated, and get drinks and appetizer orders. I won't be going back. Very disappointed!!!

Yelp
When in Midland.... This is one of those Classic locations you have to hit when in downtown. It's been around forever and has never failed me. They have solid steak and seafood options. I recently had the cilantro chicken and it was solid also, although slightly salty. Their salads are only ok, having an odd mix of veggies. There is no lunch menu, which I think is a real downer. There is definitely an opportunity to offer smaller plates and/or pricing for downtown workers. That said, they are never empty when I go and may not need to offer that. If interested in happy hour, they have $1 off standard drinks at the full bar from 4-6.

Gary B.

Yelp
Wall Street Bar & Grill has been a local staple for many years. The food is always consistently good. Their salads are awesome. We went last night, 07/13/2024. We were very blessed to have Sadie as our server. She is out of this world. She is always friendly and upbeat. We were blessed to be served by her a few weeks ago for brunch. Last night was very busy. She did an amazing job of keeping us informed about our food and drink orders. I had the chicken fried steak. It was very good. Others in our party had the grilled shrimp. All was good. Keep up the great work Sadie.

Yelp
The chicken fried steak is the best I've ever eaten. It literally melts in your mouth and the gravy is fantastic. Love this place love the food.

Yelp
Man, this place has always been my go-to steakhouse. I've been going since 2007. But, it really could've been better. First of all, the waitress must have had nothing else to do that night. She kept came coming back and back. "Ready to order?", "Ready to order". "No, we are waiting on a friend." or "Not yet, still looking." I order the NY Strip. Medium, please. I also ordered the Creamed Spinach and a house salad. The strip was definitely medium well to well done. Didn't they used to ask you to cut into the steak when it was first served? Not this time. I guess they don't want to know. (You might have to send back.) The Creamed Spinach was good. The salad? Well, it was a whole bunch of ice berg lettuce. SMH. C'mon, Wall Street! Get it together. How about you invite me back, give me a coupon for a free steak, and then get the whole meal right! (And yeah, ask me to cut into my steak before I take a bite!.)

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I had special dish of fish. Yum. It is a big pricy but definitely worth it

Keith K.

Yelp
Enjoyed a great Mother's Day Brunch, tried the Orange Roughy, it's was excellent, service was great. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Yelp
I heard this was one of the best restaurants in Midland, unfortunately I was left disappointed by the food. I ordered the filet with chimichurri ($47). I love filet and I love chimichurri, so I figured this would be a safe bet. My filet was cooked perfectly, but it severely lacked in flavor and the chimichurri was sort of palatable. In addition to my food being mediocre, there was an annoying house fly that would just not leave our table alone. The one good thing I do have to say was the service. Our waitress was friendly, kind, and she was diligent on keeping my water glass filled. This waitress is the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Perhaps there are better items on the menu, but for this steak loving gal, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Shelly N.

Yelp
The food did not meet the expectations compared to the pricing. The food was mediocre at best, requested another spoon because I received it dirty with dry food on it, the waiter was not attentive, and others who came in after my table were served food before us. Our dining experience was horrible and I would not recommend anyone to dine there.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Really good food, etouffee is really good. Never had a bad meal there. They have real good seafood.
google avatar

Sandra D.

Yelp
Great food and awesome service. Salad is awesome. Lots of menu items to choose from. The brunch is incredible on Sundays starting at 10:00 AM. Chicken fried steak and cilantro chicken are my favorites! Ask for the cheesecake with strawberries! It's like a piece of Heaven.
google avatar

Vicki G.

Yelp
Surprisingly good! We sat at the bar, which looks historic. We were pleased to see that the restaurant retains an air of formality, with real cloth tablecloths. I ordered blackened redfish and it was delicious -- not at all fishy, tasted fresh and clean. My husband said the seafood relleno was delicious. Our service was pleasant. I would definitely return.

Sam S.

Yelp
I hardly ever post reviews, but I had to for this one. My friend and I both got some sort of seafood dish, and both of us were severely disappointed. The fried shrimp tasted like sink water, and the shrimp brochette tasted about the same. Appetizers lacked flavor, and the only thing that tasted fresh was the Italian salad dressing. Please please please clean your kitchen and prep area.
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the amazing endless salad with blue cheese crumbles, fabulous cosmo martini , and awesome steak kabob. It was just the right amount of food and service was superb.

Mike P.

Yelp
Tried the place on the recommendation of a couple of work colleagues. Cool place when you walk in, kind of retro/speakeasy vibe. Service was good, but not attentive. I asked for a salad, and it's good that I'm ok with Italian dressing, as I was informed that's your only option. I ordered the fried chicken with fries and salad. They brought me fried chicken and a cold baked potato. I wasn't impressed. And the fried chicken, as pleasant a place and atmosphere that they have, the fried chicken was just bad. Actually the worst I've ever had, bland and no taste, the gravy was the same, so it was no help. My colleagues were both ok with their meals, one which was incorrect also. Seems to be a locals place, maybe I caught them on a bad day for what I ordered. I don't know. I might try them again but definitely another menu item, and hope the server gets the order correct. I'm not a fan of having to send something back. Can't really recommend them based on my experience there that particular day.

Yelp
Over priced for what? not that great. CWO Ian M. Garland

Yelp
If you're from Dallas this place will remind you of Dunston's. Good service, really cool old bar, favorites on the menu. Moderate your expectations and have a great time with friends here.

V R.

Yelp
Love Wall Street! The service is always wonderful! I highly recommend the steak and etouffee!
google avatar

Holly F.

Yelp
For what is supposed to be "one of the better restaurants in Midland", it's incredibly disappointing. The mozzarella caprese salad was awful, no balsamic vinegar and the mozzarella had an off-putting texture. There are hardly any options for vegetarians or picky eaters, yet if you order something simple off the kids menu, you'll be charged excessively. Management is rude and not accommodating in any way. Greedy is the only word that comes to mind.
google avatar

Lloyd J.

Yelp
They should be better! Nice atmosphere and excellent variety on the menu. The bread and salad to start our meal was excellent and one of the best blue cheese dressing I've ever had. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak with cream gravy and that was tasty, however the French Fries were soggy, cool and inedible. I ordered the charbroiled chicken which was tender and juicy and full of flavor. The julienned vegetables were soggy instead of al dente but had good flavor. The wild rice was not light and fluffy but rather dense although the flavor was as expected. This place was highly recommended so I had higher expectations than perhaps I should have. Our server was not on the ball at all and had to be asked repeatedly for the same items . There was no crowd for one pm so that seems to be a problem. This experience should have been better. Will try again later
google avatar

Doug A.

Yelp
Was looking forward to a great steak. They serve CAB Vs Prime. I didn't finish more than half of the strip. It was tough. Was offered ketchup. Sounds snobby, but just wanted a decent steak. Not the Wall Street I remember. Staff/service was average. I hope this helps Wall Street improve. I like this place.
google avatar

Nancy G.

Yelp
Great food and service!! We had a lovely dinner of salmon and grilled shrimp and chocolate cake for dessert.
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
What a great dinner spot. The crab cakes were amazing. The pecan crusted salmon was so well prepared. The bartender was helpful and fun to chat with. We will definitely stop here on our way back home.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Midland favorite. The food is delicious and the servers are all incredibly nice.

Yelp
4 Stars Overall Ambiance: 4 My husband and I were visiting Midland and went here for drinks after dinner. It was really crowded when we showed up, which on the plus side gave the place lots of energy, but on the downside, it was difficult to find seating either at a table or the bar. We ended up sitting on some bar stools right by the front door. Service: 3 When I went up to the bar to order our drinks (Meltdown and Bit O'Honey, both on the menu), the bartender looked confused, asked me to repeat the order, and then I saw him go over and get a drink menu like he didn't know their signature drinks. Then he came back again and asked what the Meltdown was. I explained its ingredients. "So... just a margarita?" "No. It's specifically listed separately on the menu from a margarita because it has a floater." Then (drink menu in hand), he asked about the Bit O'Honey. "That's the one with ice cream in it?" No. Of the four listed dessert drinks, it's the only one without ice cream. Not impressed! I'd give service 2 stars elsewhere, but apparently this is par for the course in Midland. Drinks: 5 Despite poor service and it being overcrowded, the drinks were amazing! The Meltdown tasted like a green apple Jolly Rancher, and the Bit O'Honey was the perfect winter drink! Delicious if you like sweet/dessert drinks. Definitely recommend these drinks if you can get over the service.

Mark W.

Yelp
Not the place to visit best thing was the bread. Food was not good and the redfish was burnt pretty bad. Cut it off and tried to finish the meal. At the end, I told the waitress the redfish was burnt and her reply was "I know!" Amazed by how poorly this place is kept up dirty table clothes and all. Won't be coming back here.

McKenna P.

Yelp
A favorite for brunch! They have a solid eggs Benedict and the cinnamon rolls that come as a free appetizer are dangerous...
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
Yup, another bad review. Last night, my girlfriend and I were looking for a place to eat. We decided to go one of midland's finest. We were seated promptly. I had ordered the artichoke dip. Which was good. Then the entrees arrived. I ordered the porterhouse and my girlfriend ordered the seafood relleno. The steak was poor quality. The color and flavor was very poor. The baked potato was old with leathery skin. My girlfriend relleno was okay. But, her mashed potatos were Luke warm on the outside and cold in the middle. With no flavor. So she asked for a baked potato. Which they charged her for. The pico de gallo tasted very bad. I had to spit it out. It was old and soggy. I was confused on how a nice place could serve poor quality food. And how such a place can have so many people eating there. Do the citizens of midland know what good food tastes like? Or are they just trying to go with the status quo?

Jim B.

Yelp
I've eaten Chicken Fried Steak many times in my long life and many times in Midland and many times at the WSB&G. They never disappoint. It's really the best one in this town for sure. The gravy is so good I could chug it. The steak is tender and the breading is just right. Not too soggy, not too crisp. I wish they would have a oversized version that you could pay more for like I have seen two other places did. They are gone now. I would gladly pay extra for it and I'll bet a lot of other folks would too. Almost everyone gets the salad too. It's famous. When I move away from this town, I'm really going to miss it.
google avatar

Zachary L.

Yelp
Very basic, first time with my wife and I. Was on Halloween, but found it tacky for an upscale-ish restaurant to have wait staff dress up. Some outfits were very revealing. Confused about the decor of the entire place. Little over $100 for meal with app and drinks. Not bad. Food was kind Blahh.... app of calamari was very thin and over cooked. Did not eat. Crab cakes was nothing to shout about, but we questioned if the crab was fresh.... pecan crusted items were decent but I do recall the home fries not being very good. Service was slow. Maybe a good local staple, but once was enough for us.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
My husband and I had supper here yesterday and it was as delicious as always. Their étouffée is the best we've had, New Orleans included. They really understand the importance of a rich roux. The service was friendly and attentive. Wall Street Bar and Grill just has a really nice atmosphere about it. It all made for a very nice evening.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
Tried the Charbroiled Grilled Shrimp with Wild Rice. It was delicious. I like their salad with blue cheese crumbles and their hot bread they bring out while you wait for your food. Previous times I visited: I had fried calamari, fried quail, fried chicken and chicken fried steak.
