It's been a while since I've received the kind of customer service that Line Thai provides. Sonya, the owner, is such a kind and considerate person. The food...DELICIOUS!! High-quality ingredients that make the flavor truly stand out. Cooked to perfection! I highly recommend visiting Line Thai and experiencing the total package for yourself. Sonya is a SHINING STAR!!

This Thai spot is a total gem. Warm, welcoming service and food that tastes genuinely fresh. The curries are rich and aromatic, the stir-fries have great wok flavor, and the spice level is customizable in a way that actually matches what you ask for. Portions are generous, prices feel fair, and everything comes out consistently good. Easy place to recommend, and even easier to come back to.

Wow. It’s a great place !!!! I am a vegetarian and they have tons of options . About the quality of food , they serve it fresh cooked rice . I had tasty and yummy fried dumplings !! I ordered Yellow curry and it’s soooooo good ! The owner herself is soo good. I think she genuinely enjoys people enjoying her food and she gives excellent recommendations. It’s a really good place.

Came here only a few months after traveling to Thailand and I was so impressed how authentic the food was. Everything, from the soups and starters to the papaya salad and pineapple fried rice we loved everything. The red duck curry is amazing. Go there for an authentic Thai experience!

I love this place! First of all, the environment is great, the set up look very beautiful and cultural. We had a party of 12 coming in and we were taking care of by the owner and one of the servers. They even decided to close late to let us finish our birthday celebration! The food is pretty good and they have a very diversity of food and everything is cool great and the food is also serve fast. I will recommend anyone to go there

Portion size too less. Food was decent but there was no choice provided for spice level. So it turned out a little bland for us. Service was quick and the place looked neat and inviting. Will try again.

This is now my favorite place to eat! Has amazing food and even better service. We had a great conversation with our waitress, who both serves and cooks! She encouraged my daughter to eat the broccoli stems on her plate, she was super kind. We wanted to take some orders togo and she was warning us about how the taste might become different as the dish sits. Most restaurants are greedy and want to take as much food as possible to get their money, but this woman was just wanting a happy customer! She treated us like family. Both of us really enjoyed our meals with great authentic flavor. The place was quite clean with nice music. Has a good vibe. Highly recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed the Pad Kee Mao with chicken and green curry fried rice tonight. The owner is so friendly, we enjoyed stopping by to not just buy food but also catch up with her. The ambiance tonight was cozy and she was playing Christmas season music.

A place that is underhyped and deserving of more love in my opinion! Feel like I've tried almost all the Thai spots around Fremont but I haven't had Line Thai. My mom and I came in on a Monday around 5:30PM and ordered a few dishes and a dessert to share. We had the yellow curry plate, Pad Kee Mao, & Spicy Eggplant plate. I asked for them to make the yellow curry extra spicy. Usually the places I go to make it super mild even upon this request, but Line Thai was the closest to my standard of heat. Really delicious! The Spicy Eggplant & Pad Kee Mao were great as well, but similar to other places I've tried. The Yellow Curry still stood out to me the most. We then had the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The lady told us that their mangos aren't that ripe right now, but I thought it was still solid. Nothing crazy but still good. Prices here are much cheaper than the average Thai restaurant in the Bay, but the tiny portions reflect the price point. Still plenty enough food for one leftover meal! Place was basically empty the entire time aside from 1 or 2 takeout orders. Makes me sad because I really think they serve up some good Thai food! As far as ambiance goes, it was particularly warm when we dined in which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's just a casual restaurant; nothing fancy.

Went for lunch on a cozy afternoon with my wife. We were both bit under weather and this Thai restaurant was absolutely amazing. First of all, big kudos to the owner Sonya who was so kind and very friendly. She checked on us and was spot on with her recommendations. Wifey ordered panang curry with chicken , and a bowl of rice. It was delicious and mouthwatering. Wife loved it and she was over the moon. It's definitely a pregnancy friendly dish. We took medium spicy. 5 out of 5 for this dish. Next I ordered Tom yum chicken noodle soup, chose medium spice level. But somehow I felt it was a bit sweet for me. It was decent . I would give 3.5 out 5 for this dish. Ambiance is really great with some really nice doodle of their menu and spacious seating available. Quick service and friendly staff Overall I recommend this restaurant for some Nice fresh Thai food to try. Will try other dishes for sure. I would love to try their pad Thai and fried rice next time. Will come again

I love this small, family-run eatery! I came here with my family to celebrate Mother's Day, and it seemed like a lot of other families had the same idea. Our waitress was kind and patient, taking the time to explain the menu and the different spice levels for each dish. She even offered helpful suggestions for my parents and had such a warm, positive energy. She shared a bit about herself too, like how her mom still lives back in Thailand, which made the experience feel even more personal. It was such a sweet interaction overall. We didn't have a reservation but were able to walk right in for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is tucked away in a larger Safeway complex, so it's a bit hidden and doesn't have a huge online presence. But that also means it's usually easy to get a table. The space was clean, bright, and pleasantly cool, which was perfect for the hot weather. If you're in Fremont and craving Thai food, this is a great low-key spot to support a local small business. Definitely worth a visit, especially when you're in a pinch!

I went today after a really long time, maybe 2019 ish? I remember it being good, but for some reason I hadn't been back till now. I'm so glad I stepped in today. It feels like a hidden gem, as it doesn't seem well known or busy whenever I pass by. It's kind of dark inside from the outside, but once you actually get in the small restaurant, it's fine. This may be more of a takeout spot? Today I ordered chicken satay and took a tom yum soup to go. Enjoyed both items. I will definitely be back to try more stuff! The host/server was friendly and food didn't take too long to come out.

Something so soothing, flavourful, subtle, delicate and comforting taste of the panang chicken curry here. My pregnant self was super happy and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this dish served with hot white rice. As I was eating I told my hubby that I want to eat this again next week. He was surprised to see how I clean sweeped my plate with neither a drop of curry or grain of rice left. This is a single serve dish. Get the entree (+3) for family style portion. He got the tom yum chicken noodle bowl which was alright and was missing the usual wow factor when you take a sip of the OG soup. The owner Sonya is very sweet and spoke so well to us. The place is small yet very clean. I love the hand written menu with doodling on the wall. Ample parking. Great location. Must visit.

I ordered via Yelp on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Tom Ka and chicken larb. My order was ready fairly quickly. The chicken larb was tasty. The Tom Ka had the perfect coconut and tangy taste. Will definitely come to order again.

This place is a little different than most of the Thai restaurants I've been to in the sense that they tend to serve more rice plates than family style dishes. There are appetizers, noodles, and different types of fried rice that can be shared, but most of their dishes are already plated with rice. I was only able to try their crab fried rice and beef salad so I can only rate those 2 items. The food was ok. This place reminds me of home cooked Thai food. The waitress is very friendly and courteous. The interior decor is simple, casual, and clean. This is a small restaurant (about 14 tables total; mostly 2-4 person tables). Located in a plaza that shares a parking lot with Burger King.

Line Thai was solid! Sonia does it all. Owner, cook, server and she was super nice. She hooked me up with a custom Pad Thai topped with fried chicken, and it was fire. Thai iced tea was on point, and the sticky rice was really good. Mango wasn't super fresh though, so I gotta dock it a star. Still a great spot! I'll definitely be back!

Ck this place out Line Thai in Fremont on Washington Blvd. excellent Thai food, the server Sonia is very nice, make sure you order the Thai tea It's amazing. My wife and I had the Tom Kha and shrimp, plus Pad Thai, and Pra rum chicken, we would go again and get the same and try something else, it was excellent.

We stopped by Friday night for a quick bite before my gf and I decided to hit the road for a trip, and we felt a bit adventurous in trying something new. Nearby after some quick shopping, we saw the store front for line thai and immediately had a Thai itch to scratch. Line Thai is conveniently located in the heart of Fremont on Washington Blvd. There's plenty of parking spaces in the plaza that shares their space with a Burger King, mountain mikes, and other fast food joints. Upon entering, there was only another couple dining in, so we didn't need reservations. The decor inside was very comfortable as well! They had booth style chairs on the side of the walls, and stools that were in the center with several tables. They had a chalk board with their most popular dishes and a lot of Thai decor, and very comfortable medium lighting! Unfortunately, the food definitely did not hit the spot, hence the low rating here. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and the chicken Tom kha noodle. The problems: The amount of food you get is very small. For $14-$16, the portion size should have been a bit more filling. The meat to noodle ratio was very skewed as well. It was ALL noodles and maybe 1-2 small pieces of chicken. Do not come hungry. The taste of the food was very one dimensional too: very, very sweet. The lime, chili spices, and additional spices that came with my pad Thai did not change the flavor profile at all. It was just way too sweet. The Tom Kha was also just a white soup that looked like it was saturated with coconut milk. For each bite, we had to wash the taste with water. My gf couldn't finish her food. What's even worse was we overheard the conversation from the other diners saying the same thing and couldn't finish their meal either. The reason why dishes are too sweet? The owner/waitress explained that the current demographic that dines here prefers it sweet or that ingredients are too hard to find to truly match the tastes from Thailand. The noodles for the dishes were also very overcooked, and were not typical noodles for Thai dishes. I'm a HUGE noodle guy, looking for good chew, long slurps, and great taste. The noodles we had on Friday night were super short(1" noodles at best), really soggy(overcooked), and a type of rice noodle that you typically find in pho(really thin). As for service, it was very nice at first. Upon entering, the front waitress came in from the back to welcome us and seat us. But she kept rotating from the front and back(I imagine she might be the owner and is a bit short staffed?). Despite that she was very responsive despite the lack of help. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit quiet, so you can hear the back's conversations. Around 8-9pm, another waitress came in and we overheard their conversation on some pretty harsh criticism on her performance on that day. Made the experience there very awkward for all diners there. Overall, I can't recommend line Thai here in Fremont. Despite the comfortable decor and homely vibes, the food and awkward service at times would definitely drive me away. I'm generally not too harsh on reviews and would love to provide a star based on decor, but the food was just way too sweet and improperly put together. Definitely bad enough to be elected for an episode of nightmare kitchen. Sorry line Thai!

Came in for a late lunch on a Friday. Picked the Massuman curry with Chicken...started eating and when I looked down again it was gone! I'm not a peanut lover, so next time I'll order without. Food came out real quick since I was the only one here at this time.

The ambiance is very relaxing and casual Thai eatery. 5/5. The service is surprisingly top notch because it is manned by 1 lady - both the server and cook. 2 servers are both on vacation. I ordered the pak pad krow - chicken with basil and stir fried bell peppers. I ordered as mild (not spicy). I should have left as spicy. I thought the serving was a lot but had a lot of sliced bell peppers, onions& less protein and thai basil. The sauce was too watery. Lacked flavor. 2.9/5. But will come back to dry other dishes.

Location is great because we could do grocery shopping then pick up dinner. The duck curry had a nice amount of spice and I enjoyed the fried rice as well. The chicken was nicely crispy and the rice itself was tasty too. The Thai tea was strong and flavorful.

My new favorite Thai spot it was my family and I's first time and we all loved it. The food was so delicious. The owner, Sonia was so sweet and accommodating. Perfect service! I'll absolutely be back.

Walking in, it wasn't that busy for a Saturday. It's very clean and spacious and our server was so welcoming! We ordered parang curry, pad kee mao, and the eggplant. I loved the eggplant so much, perfect spice level. It was my fist time ever trying pad kee mao and I must say that this place made me love it. We ordered the papaya salad and wow it was so refreshing! They also have lunch specials which is amazing. Overall, had a wonderful experience and would 100% come back.

We were in a bind to figure out what to get for lunch so since we were going to get boba at Sharetea, we decided to try out Line Thai again. This time we got a pad see ew with chicken and the fireball appetizer. The pad see ew was decent but wish there was more. I feel like for the price you should be getting a larger quantity. Similar to the fireball appetizer which was the disappointment in the order. We ordered it on a whim as they didn't have papaya salad. It was fishballs with a "spicy sauce" which was not spicy at all but just really salty. The fishballs were so so so small for the price. I will not be getting this again. I'm not saying we won't be back again. But it's definitely not the first place we'll think of when we're craving Thai. The one saving grace here is the very kind and friendly service. The food just could've been better.

Every time we come here it's 10/10. The worker is attentive and friendly, and always on deck with water. The food is consistently good, visit after visit. Never disappointed here :) our go-to celebration spot

One of the newer Thai restaurants in the Fremont area, and located in the same plaza as Safeway (off of Washington Avenue). I had some credits on Uber Eats that I needed to use, and placed my order through there; however, would highly recommend calling in your order or placing it in person to save on the additional ~$2/dish they charge for using their platform. I called in my order around 1:45pm on a Sunday, and it was a 10 minute at the time. My order was ready when I arrived, and it wasn't busy in the restaurant. I tried their Pad Thai w/Tofu ($15.95/Uber Eats, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oWwfpJdW-h0KZFFTh32H7Q&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was really good! I believe this dish normally costs $13.95 Their pad thai was super flavorful (almost bordering salty, but I usually don't use a lot of salt), and I loved how crispy the fried tofu pieces were- recommended! I will be back to try their curries and pad see ew. Their staff was still wearing a mask, and they had hand sanitizer. Only indoor dining was available. Parking was ok to find in this complex, but the spots are on the smaller side.

Love this spot for my Thai food cravings! They have a BOMB crab fried rice (a family fave!!!) Some other great go tos I get are their green curry and pad see ew. And to end it off you can't forget the mango sticky rice! So delicious! This place is so welcoming and cozy and the owner Sonya is also very sweet and funny! 10/10 definitely a place worth giving a try!

Absolutely no complaints with Line Thai. We went later at night, and to our surprise, the restaurant was empty. We ordered the Roti, Pad See ew and Chicken. There was a little bit of a wait but fortunately, it was worth it. The food was incredibly flavorful. Service was also very nice and helpful! Will definitely be going to Line Thai again soon!

This little Thai spot is a true gem. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and clearly cooked with care. I've tried most of the menu, and it's consistently delicious. It's a woman-owned business, and the owner is both a great cook and a warm host who makes you feel welcome every time. Portions are well-sized and the dishes are never too oily or heavy. Solid comfort food done right, with an ambience that is cozy and comfortable.

DO NOT EAT HERE! ITS NOT A RESTAURANT, ITS A FRONT! IF I CAN GIVE A RESTAURANT 0 STARS, I WOULD. - Small portions - Small meat - Dishes are ALL vegetables, no meat - Always empty in the restaurant, no visitors We ordered Pad Thai and when we came home, they gave us a different dish. We called them and told us that we can't speak with a manager and was told they wouldn't give me a refund. I was told to pay for another dish. I went back to the restaurant, since it's close to home, and told me they won't give me the actual dish I ordered. I ordered pad thai and when I got home, there was A USED SQUEEZED LIME in my pad thai! It was very weird that the dish that I ordered, after my complaint, it was ruined. It was kinda like they put that lime in purpose.

Good Ambience, low volume customer service! There's even an altar with Buddha's little statues on it. We went there for late lunch around 1:38 pm; there's a table across us where other two gents almost finished their lunches and were about to leave. There were a few takeouts customers. No waiting for a table! The stewardess waits and busses for us in a very good manner. She looks young and energetic, probably a college girl working part-time. We had only one Pineapple Fried Rice, one papaya salad and one large Tom kha with shrimp so it's Tom Kha Goong in Thai. It's rich, creamy and fulfilling. Papaya salad and pineapple chunks in fried rice kind of neutralize the effect. Next time, I will try Tom Yum instead.

First time trying this place with my colleagues from work today. Very good service. The food was also delish. The owner made sure that our foods were ready before we came and covered them to keep them warm until we arrived.

Craving Thai and my friends just moved nearby. Looking at the menu, prices seemed cheaper compared to other Thai restaurants, and since it was so close decided to try! Ordered by phone and food was ready within the waiting time provided. The good - food was really tasty with nice flavors. The bad - maybe it's cheap for a reason as the portions are small and hardly any meat? The pad see ew was the smallest portion I've ever received and hardly any beef. The curries barely have chicken as well. I also think they over charged us, or gave themselves a $10+ tip. I would recommend they put the larb salad sauce on the side as the bag was filled with fish sauce that spilled out of the container. The panang curry was incredibly spicy, wish they asked first about our desired spice level. Other than that, everything was really good! Not sure if it's due to covid the portion sizes have gotten smaller or less meat added, but would still come back for the quality over the quantity.

Soup and red curry was all sweet base. Veggies clearly felt like frozen and were not fresh. Won't offer tofu and veggies in any curry, have to choose either one. Most of my red curry was filled with bamboo shoots.

Line Thai at first impression is a very homely vibe with nice decor. There was only one person working the front who seemed like the owner. I ordered the Tom Kha chicken noodle soup. Felt like it would be great during the cold winter. When the soup came out, it was nicely piping hot. There was a lot of noodle and only a few pieces of chicken. No veggies. I took a first bite and I was like wow. That's very very sweet. Felt like I was eating noodles in condensed coconut milk. Unfortunately it did not get better. I could only eat a few bites before I had to put it down from sweetness overload. Towards the end of my meal, there was someone who came in to begin their shift in the back. The owner seemed to be berating their employee very loudly for working too slowly which echoed into the dining area. It was a very odd experience. I was thinking a 2.5 star since the food is just too sweet for me. However I can see how someone who doesn't mind sweet foods can enjoy it. The food came out hot which is a plus and was friendly to us. However there was a couple incidents giving very awkward negative energy in the space. The decor and furnishing was okay.

Papaya salad Eat with caution!!‼‼ one Thai chilli/some type of chilli is soft like tomato. Currently feels like my first spicy challenge that was uncalled for. All the senses are sensing!! (Satay chicken - delicious!)

I ordered a pad kee mao with tofu for pickup, they have a pretty fast turnaround time for making the food. It tasted pretty good, nothing particularly spectacular but it does have that savory soy-based flavor that I like and a decent ratio of tofu and vegetables to noodles. Portion was okay but not huge.

We love this Thai Place! They are very accommodating with kids. I love their Tim kha soup! The ambiance has soft music.

The Pad Thai at Line Thai has bold flavors and is delicious. However, it's a bit on the pricier end for Pad Thai and doesn't include many ingredients other than noodles, some bean sprouts, and your protein choice. I would've appreciated if they just added some more ingredients to the meal such as more vegetables or at least tofu. Overall, the flavor is good but you don't get much texture relief. If you're in the area, you should try it out.

Sorry that I have to say. Very bad Pad Thai that I had ever ate. The service of lady in Lime Thai also not nice. Definitely not come back.

This spot is solid for takeout. We ordered: - pad Thai tofu: I like the texture of the thinner noodles. Not many places offer this thin noodle, so I really enjoy it when I can find it. The sauce is very sweet and tart. We both liked this dish best. -Penang curry: my husband felt the rice was a bit over cooked. The curry itself is spicy, but the flavor is not that deep or savory. Mainly you get spice. Portions are just ok-sized. For reference usually we have leftovers when ordering Thai take out, but this time we finished it.

I made mid-week reservations for 12:30 pm. When we were the only diners in the restaurant. By the time we left, three other parties we're eating. The food was fine (fried tofu, panang with tofu, red curry) but the service was subpar. I ordered extra peanut sauce for my fried tofu but it arrived with only the standard dipping sauce. The server told me she'd get my peanut sauce, but didn't return with it until I had completed eating the dish. When I told her not to charge me for it, she looked at me quizzically. She had the same expression when I reminded her that I had asked for separate checks. She didn't understand that separate checks usually means that one diner doesn't want the other diner to pay for the 1st person's extra dishes. Hopefully the young server can improve her skills over time.
