If you have never been, you need to stop and check out this market. Lots of local goods to look at and buy. Plants, food, clothing and more. Right on Main Street and great vendors!

Amazing big market in an amazing small Ma & Pa town every Tuesday I've been going to for years! Excellent produce, gift choices, and tons of other authentic food to try and buy.

Lovely stroll, friendly town and vendors, would love to see more local homegrown... Maybe I will! My organic mini red peppers are only two bunches so far... Good to see Greenpeace reps! Please support all our local communities in fighting plastics since they feed poisonous red tide! Learned it is not only big sugar but corps like Nestlé and Coke that are greedy and use public ignorance(lack of complaints) as a reason not to switch to biodegradable products. Everyone needs to speak up.

If you're around, make sure you stop-by this market - lots of really nice stalls.

I go as often as I can. A great variety of vendors line both sides of the street. Anything from street food to art to knife sharpening. Local fresh eggs, locla brewed kombucha,artisan cheese, local co-op produce, hippy threads, jewelry, unique meats and on and on and on... good deals to be had. Don't forget the brick and morter shops while you are there , finish your shopping day with a local brewed beer (2 choices), plant based ice cream, fresh cup of coffee and many other choices

Very colorful area/neighborhood. Parking an issue because while plenty of them too popular a place. Very informative and friendly patrons abound.

Cute place. Only had a soda, didn't eat food. We stopped for a break, sat outside, and listened to the live music on the sidewalk. Fun!

Fresh produce, meat, eggs, jewelry, and amazing vibes!! All of the vendors had smiling faces and were eager to talk about their booth. We got some veggies, fruit, chicken burgers, ground beef, and then some chips with some garlic/beet spread from a separate booth. The garlic spread booth had samples on samples on samples. Employee was very nice and offered to let us try as much as we wanted! It was a toasty day, but the shade under the umbrellas helped a bit!! Very lively, diverse, and fun atmosphere. I'll be back next week!

This market is not really a Farmer's Market. At least when we were there we saw only one booth with fruits and vegetables and I would guess that the operator was not a farmer. There were some food booths and some with handmade goods which were nice. The city of Gulfport is definitely worth a visit, though. The "casino" on the waterfront has a lot of history and is used for many community events (tai chi on the day we visited.) Everyone is so friendly and we had the pleasure of meeting the "cultural facilities events supervisor" Justin Shea who graciously took the time to tell us all about the town. We definitely want to go back to Gulfport and spend more time than the one day we visited this trip.

Little market in a great location right by the beach. I really didnt see anything here that couldn't be purchased elsewhere. That really bummed me out since Gulfport prides itself on being "weird". Not much in the way of yummy market food so that loses another star. Just your average market. May stop by again if I'm in the area.

A very casual market lining both sides of tree shaded Beach Boulevard with great shops and restaurants too. I am hooked on several booths, which keeps me coming back. There is a Maine lobster booth that has the absolute best lobster roll I've had anywhere, totally packed with lobster chunks, not shredded like I have had elsewhere, and barely any mayo dressing, on a toasted bun. (a bargain at $13.50 or $16.50) Then there's the fresh baked organic artisan bread that is incredible. Today I picked up huge loaves of sourdough, tomato basil, and olive loaf, hard crust and soft and chewy inside, truly Artisan, and baked the night before. I need to try their roasted garlic, with a whole head baked in the center. ($6,7,8) A couple booths down are fresh made natural fruit drinks, like hibiscus, mango peach, that are $4 with free refills. Lots of other booths of homemade goodies and produce too. And then afterwards, head over to O'Maddy's for a $2 20 ounce domestic drafts, right on the water. Life is good.

Great mix of vendors the two spots that had honey were great. The tea shop had good service and drinks.

Stopped by the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market the other day and had a blast there. There are so many local vendors there with interesting items including a Thai stand and a vegan Jamaican food stand. All the shop owners were super-friendly and you could tell Gulfport just has a great community vibe. The prices for all the things were also very reasonable. I am looking forward to going back when the weather is a little better and shopping around again.

One of the previous reviews says this is a 15 minute visit but that's not my experience. Perhaps there is more participation since that review was written. I think we spent close to an hour and a half and didn't really look closely at everything. There are the expected fruits and vegetables plus a lot of unusual artsy stuff. We had lunch at one of the restaurants, time for that not included in the hour and a half mentioned earlier. It's easy to find a parking spot and parking is free. The only disappointing part of the visit was the convenience store which I've reviewed separately. While in the area a good short side trip is to go to the dance hall adjacent to the beach. it is a pretty building with an interesting history and the attendant is happy to talk to you non dancers. Pleasant experience and I will return.

Don't get me wrong; I love Gulfport. It's a quiet little beach-side town, lots of funky artists, quirky dog & cat lovers, and LGBT-friendly atmosphere. The slight dilapidation only adds to the "Old Florida turned Left-y" charm. But their Tuesday Fresh Market is kind of dull, with about 20 vendors in their little tents lined up along the narrow sidewalks a couple blocks from the beach. It's a small market, the kind where you can see everything in a 15 minute circuit, unless you stop to talk to vendors, most of whom are pleasantly chatty. A few are fairly desperate for a sale, due to the uncrowded nature of this event. The handmade jewelry is nice, and fresh local eggs and goat cheese are excellent, as is a very small (non-organic, non-local) produce stand. There's roasted nuts, and some other typical traveling carnival resale stuff. The local bread I sampled wasn't that great, and some homemade jams were above-average but overpriced ($10 for 12 oz). There's a cute little hot sauce shop. Some of the artwork was kinda pathetic, but I did see one artisan making beautiful silk scarves that would make a great gift. So it's hit or miss. There are some excellent little restaurants along the street, and "antique-y" resale shops where you might spot something you never knew you needed but now just can't live without (at any price). I'm a little dubious of hot foods at a small market like this, with low attendance and unknown health & safety supervision. But there was nothing "must-eat" on the sidewalk, so you could always dine at one of the little restaurants, or stop at Smokin' J's BBQ on your way out of town. I agree with another reviewer that this market is a nice diversion if you're already in the vicinity, but don't make a lengthy trip for it. With more popularity and consequent greater competition and vetting of vendors, this market would improve. The venue is certainly fun.

Very cute little market that has the typical farmers market type of stuff fruits and veggies, and arts and crafts. I love that kind of stuff. Anywhere that I can be outside walking with my dog makes me happy. If you are not in the area, do not make a special trip bc it is quite little. If you are there already, you will like it. There are a lot of fun art galleries in the area, a dog store/groomer/a few restaurants and cafes. It is on the water. The area is an older area so don't expect it to be all glam, but it is a nice little street. The rest of the area when driving through may not look to safe, but then again, FL is weird where one block is nice and the next block is not.

Real nice, local market. There are some bullshit vendors but not many - maybe 15 percent. Overall, it goes about 4 blocks on both sides of the street. A good variety and the stores and restaurants have their doors open for it. Cute little, artsy town. I was happy to have the excuse to come down here.

I just LOVE this market. Between the stores, booths and restaurants, you can get just about anything you want. I like knowing that it will be open every Tuesday (except during bad rain days) and I can make a quick run through or take my time in this quaint market. Glad it is here in Gulfport. Thanks to all the vendors.

I recently moved to the area and must say I love Gulfport's Tuesday morning market. I find it to be extremally charming with a great vibe. The shops along the way are fabulous as well! I've purchased goods such as plants, jewlery and art from quite a few of the vendors, all of whom were very friendly and welcoming. I try to make it at least a couple times a month, and plan to continue coming back :)

As a snowbird residing in Gulfport, it's a Tuesday morning ritual to shop at Gulfport's Fresh Market for farm fresh fruits, salads and vegetables. Delicious cheeses and Spanakapita are also on our weekly shopping list. Not only to we get value, we also enjoy the crowd and most of all the live music.

I like the market however I wish there were more produce stands . It's a fun thing to do if you have nothing else to do but nothing more than that. It's not an every week event to visit since it's the same vendors over and over.
