"Four Seasons Kyoto Brasserie Most international visitors to Kyoto aren't coming here to eat French food, but Japan’s take on foreign cuisine is a riteof passage you shouldn’t miss out on. This modern and spacious brasserie, opened in 2016, has giant picture windows overlooking a largewooden terrace andthe hotel’s 800-year-old ikeniwa (pond garden). It’s a romantic setting where you can splurge on specialties such asKonbu-crusted bluefin tuna, Aichi broiled eel with foie gras, and duckconfitwith mapleand sansho pepper."

The service was excellent: the use of both English and Japanese, explaining of the menu and the meals of the day. The servers were very quick to refill water for cups. There was level of care of presentation that was evident with the food, uniform and how the menu was formatted. Atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend this for a place to eat at.

Have our buffet breakfast here while staying at the Cross Hotel. Highly recommended as they offer a wide selection of Japanese and western options all with high quality ingredients. The donuts were surprisingly awesome

The main restaurant of Cross Hotel Kyoto. Had my hotel breakfast there during my stay in Cross Hotel. Food was alright. Sufficient variety of food, eggs, ham, bacon, soup and bread. However, after 5 of having breakfast there, there was barely any changes to the food option. Cleanliness and the service rendered by the staff were above average.

We ate there twice once for lunch;we arrived late before closing time and they served us very kindly, the burgers were fresh and tasty and ambience was good too. We returned back for dinner after one day and also had very good service and food.

Gorgeous bar and restaurant, food was pretty mediocre. I wish they wouldn't try and do American/Italian food here. Staff really made me feel like we weren't welcome which is a surprise since the hotel staff were excellent. Stay at the hotel but eat somewhere else.

Drinks were great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food, however...not great. Not much taste, very bland. We came for a late dinner but I would only suggest getting drinks.

Was a little pricey but the food was good. The coffee was excellent as was the service. Egg station to get the eggs you like and the sausage was good. The ham was a better ham than the Japanese version of bacon. If you can stomach the price, you will enjoy the food.
