Some of the best dim sum you’ll find for awhile. Amazing egg tarts. I’ve had them in Chicago, Windsor and Detroit and these ones blew them all out of the water. XO noodles were amazing and the fried shrimp balls are reminiscent of ones I ate in my childhood.

Absolutely delicious, currently my favorite restaurant in the lansing area. They are so cordial and helpful and the food is delicious. I especially recommend the Shanghai rice cakes, and the turnip cakes in x.o. sauce.

The food here is amazing and wonderfully priced. I ordered several different dim sums as well as the 3 course Peking duck. Everything I ordered was delicious. I also had a tonbof left over which were just as delicious the next day. First the Peking duck was excellently cooked. It was priced the best out of places I have gone to before with some restaurants charging around $100 in other areas for far less food. On top of the Peking Duck itself, it was served with a duck soup and duck cooked with some veggies. It was a lot of food for an incredibly low price. With each of the 3 courses tasting just as delicious as the last. The duck soup is rich in flavor with lots of chunks of duck meat. This by itself is enough to feed 2 or 3 people. As for the dim sum. I ordered several different things most of which I forgot the names of at this point. But everything was so delicious. I ordered these friend pumpkin filled ones that where definitely my favorite. I also ordered beef tripe which was cooked to perfection. I think I ordered about 8 or 10 different dishes. The staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice and kind and they even helped me pack up my leftovers. I was checked on several times and made to feel everything welcomed. This place is well worth the visit, the food is excellence with prices that are just as great. I will definitely check them out again when I am in the area and I very much look forward to returning.

The food was disgusting, smelled bad, and way too greasy. This was my first time ordering takeout from this restaurant and it will be my last time. I ordered the fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and French Fries. The chicken was not crispy and it was too oily. The fries were mushy and bland. The shrimp fried rice was too oily. Everything was nasty and smelled bad too. As if it was all cooked in the same old rotten oil. It was a waste of money and a terrible experience. I do not recommend this restaurant. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Everything was disappointing to say the least.

Truly the best duck I've ever had the skin was crispy but not greasy the meat was juicy tender and flavorful. Honestly everything that we had aside from the chicken feet but I do believe that's a personal preference, but everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and worth every penny we spent we will be back!

Loved this place... it was delicious. I love dim sum but Hubby not so much. The diverse menu is so nice, we can each have our favorite things. Delicious duck, don't miss out on ordering that. Really enjoyed the satay beef tripe and lotus paste buns are the best ever!!! Singapore Mei Fun was Hubby's favorite, next time we will try the mini hot pot and spicy crab. Go support them!

had an incredibly disappointing meal here and unfortunately won't be returning. I ordered the BBQ duck over rice, but the meat was tough and bone-dry, while the skin was excessively fatty. To make matters worse, I could actually see duck hair left on the skin, and several pieces were nothing but bone and completely inedible. I also tried the Steamed Chicken with Chili Oil, which was greasy yet lacked any real flavor. Honestly, I really don't think they make all their food in-house; the dim sum tasted like frozen food that was just heated up in the kitchen. This was easily the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not recommended.

My favorite Chinese place closed so I’ve been on the search for a new one, tried two others that I wasn’t impressed with before this place which blew me away! Everything was so so tasty and giving you bubble tea with the meal deal is such a fun unique idea! I loved my watermelon one :) this place is great, I’ll definitely be back.

I tried this place out for the first time tonight through Uber eats. They have a new customer for life. The orange chicken with lo mein is phenomenal. We also got Szechuan beef, which is equally fantastic. I was not expecting a crab Rangoon and eggroll to come with, which were both very good. I simply ordered from here because they were still open late night and I'm really happy I did. Try them out if you have not!

Great authentic chinese food. I love their sesame balls! One of the best in the area.

Good menu with lots of dim sum options and a well-priced lunch special. Really enjoyed every noodle dish I've gotten. Service is always fast and friendly. Ambiance is a bit run-down.

This place is more of a hole in the wall dim sum spot. No carts so you order from a menu. They do come out in a timely manner however. Prices is average for dim sum but the quality is pretty good. There is a better option in town but it's come at a price too. This is a place you go when you go a lot of people, hungover, or just trying to get your fix. You'll be satisfied with your decision. 3.8/5

Stopped in after work and got the generals chicken. Some crab rangoons on the side. It looked nice inside but I got the food to go. Really liked the fast fresh food and the generals chicken was good. The fried rice didn't have any veggies in it which is ok with me, and overall I'm very happy with this place. I'll be back for sure

Gross! I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables. The chicken tasted old in giant pieces with a tough leather like texture. I spit most of it out. Sauces were good. This place needs to reduce the size of their pieces of chicken and broccoli as well as improve the quality of ingredients. I recommend avoiding this place.

Simply amazing Dim Sum. After a month traveling around China I can say 'The Kung Fu' has excellent authentic Chinese food. If you're used to Americanized Chinese food, I highly recommend trying their Dim Sum shared small plates. We went on the weekend and the service was wonderful and very helpful. Pro tip: avoid tripe, chives, and durian if you are new to Chinese food.

I am a Chinese American living in Lansing temporarily for school, originally from Florida. I have been to Hong Kong before and am always on the lookout for authentic Dim Sum. This restaurant so far is the only place I have tried Dim Sun in the area but it tastes really good, very close to authentic (if not there already!) I have ordered most of the steamed and fried menus (but none of the baked menu items) and they have all been tasty. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I ordered one of my favorite desserts, Dan Tat (蛋撻) or "Egg Tart," which I have had fresh from a Chinese bakery back home in Tampa, and the one from The Kung Fun tasted a little grainy rather than the gelatin texture it's supposed to have. It didn't taste bad, but it didn't taste fresh or authentic. Otherwise, very good dim sum experience if you are looking for something in the Lansing area! Note: They do Dim Sum made to order, not on carts. Food usually comes out within 10 minutes of ordering though.

I was recommended to come here for dim sum. I was really weary because of the name but I was in the mood for dim sum so here I come. Had several dim sum items here: *Shrimp dumpling: Chunks of shrimp, it was tasty *Pork ribs w/black bean sauce: These are the largest ribs I've had in this dish. That was nice because it was meatier vs mostly bone *Shrimp rice roll: Wished the rice roll was a bit thinner *Pan fried radish cake: Needed to be fried a bit more *Fried taro dumplings: This is good but would have liked it to be crispier. *Steamed bbq pork bun: Not much filling. *Egg tarts: The bottom of the tart shell wasn't completely cooked. Needed more bake time *Bake taro buns: Needed to be baked a bit longer so when you break into the bun the top kind of flakes/crumble off. *Salted fish fried rice: It was just rice, salted fish and egg. No green onions or veggies (no peas or carrots). Needed a bit more salted fish. 4 stars with all these comments..... The taste wasn't bad. All the food just needed a bit more flavor and cooked a bit longer on some items to make them crispier. Maybe they don't use much msg so the lack of flavor? Otherwise I enjoyed it. Service was friendly and good. Every time I opened my tea pot lid, the waitress came over and filled it. I will definitely try again!

This is the best chinese food in this area. Some of the best, authentic, well prepared and properly seasoned chinese food I've had in my life. Never had chinese food this good in the 30 years I lived in South Florida. Great job on my order!

I love this restaurant for dim sum and stop every time I am in town! Their selection is fantastic and the bbq pork buns are the best

The place has no ambiance but perhaps it's expected in a college town. Menu has a great variety to my surprise. Service was friendly and fairly fast. Food was ok until my daughter found an ant in her broccoli noodle dish. If course, I asked them to remake that. I was told that since organic broccoli was used for the first time, they didn't realize it had ants. First time or not my daughter asked me not to make a big deal out of it and patiently waited for it to be remade. We did order a lot of food and I expected at least that particular dish would be taken off our bill but it wasn't. Oh well..not sure I'll be coming back.

I have ordered the Szechuan mini-hotpot 3 or 4 times here, and it is by far the best Chinese food I have had in my life. The quail eggs are rich and buttery, and the fish falls apart on the spoon and is fresh every single time. Overall, this place has very authentic recipes, amazing service, and great atmosphere. I used to be a regular in the Chicago Chinatown restaurants when I lived there, and these chefs could take over down there and compete in any environment. This place is not often busy, but I think that only reflects the marketing because the food is top tier. It is the hidden gem you have been looking for. Food I have tried: I thought the Chonquing fish was excellent, and loved the almond chicken and scallion pancakes. The fried rice is not bad at all, but ask for something authentic for an out of this world experience. I haven't written a review in years, but got the app just to leave The Kung Fu my highest possible recommendation.

Dim sum is amazing~ I think Golden wok combined with this place and I've never been happier. When Golden wok closed I craved chicken feet for the longest time and I was so happy to find this place. All of their food is 5 star worthy. It's a little corner so it might be hard to miss (it's right next to Medawar jewelers) but I highly recommend getting food here to go or to eat here. The staff and owner are so nice too she's the best

I have not had Dim-sun for a long while, and decided to try the local restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered a little too much, almost boxed half the food home; however, still tasty after two days. We definitely come back!!

Didn't even get a chance to order my food. Lady has an attitude from the moment I walked in the door. She was really upset when I asked to see a menu. I asked to make the gravy Spicy with my egg foo young. She yelled telling me she can't make the gravy Spicy it's already made. I clarified what I meant saying that after cooked, I would like the spice on top of the gravy. A request I ask 100% of the time any Chinese restaurant I go to. 99% of the restaurants honor the simple request without me even having to clarify. Instead she lost it and yelled at me telling me that she makes authentic American Chinese etc. it's her right to not honor my simple request, I still would've ordered but she's lost her mind thinking I'm about to eat there after getting yelled at. She can save that for her family not me.

soggy chicken, liquidy crab rangoon's, watered down sweet and sour, and the rice had no flavor. the food was all out disgusting and tasted like it had sat out for days. DONT RECOMMEND

I really enjoyed my first experience at Kung Fu. I ordered carry out through Yelp/Grub Hub and the process was smooth. I really liked that they offered an American and Traditional menu, and their website made it easy to browse different options using their drop-down menu. I played it safe and tried the Thai Spicy Basil Chicken with white rice and a vegetable spring roll this time, but there are so many other traditional items I hope to try in the future. Everything I ordered was great and the portion size was filling. Definitely adding this spot to my favorites list!

We continue to search for a good Chinese restaurant in the Lansing area. I grew up in. Detroit suburb and we had great ones. Still searching.... Kung Fu was a huge disappointment. The sesame chicken was dry and leathery. The fried rice was greasy and tasteless. Moo shu chicken was at least edible, not the best. Will not be ordering again.

Last night, we ordered the chicken almandine, sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, shrimp eggrolls, crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup. we ordered it for carry out. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious! Will definitely order again! I am surprised others have had such poor experiences. This isn't the first time we have ordered from Kung Fu. and have had good luck in the past. It is sad to hear that they are not consistent. ??

I don't know how this place is not packed every night. I have dined there on several occasions and have always had excellent service and food. Honestly I am normally the only white person in the place; the waitress, whose family owns the place, said they have a large clientele from the Asian students at MSU due to the authentic cuisine. Food recommendations- Try the steamed pork buns. I think they are handmade upon ordering because you may have to wait a few, but the wait is well worth it. They come with the most delicious sauce. I always order the chicken Szechwan hot wok. If you like spicy, give it a whirl! You will not be disappointed. I have also tried and enjoyed the short ribs. I think this is the best Asian food anywhere in the Lansing area...now go give it a try!

This place is excellent! Service is great and soup dimpling were very good. It is the only place around town to get dim sum but good selection and fresh!

I recommend this restaurant for all the people. I have been in MSU for 5 years, I always go to Kungfu for dinner and I have to say this is the best local Chinese restaurant. As far as I known, the boss has a son and a daughter( first grader?)and they have dinner at restaurant almost everyday, that's the reason I trust their food safety. Stuff are friendly. Spicy food are authentic. I love the bubble tea, Thai tea and fruit smoothie Tips: since not all the people like real Chinese food, they provide two options: Chinese style and American style food, but if you want to try real Chinese spicy food, talk to the stuff! Seriously terrible food and we got sick. I hate to bring a place down during covid but not only is the food terrible, barely having flavor, but the MEAT WAS UNCOOKED. Literally pulled apart some beef and it was barely cooked. Even the vegetables, the ones that didn't look like they came from a can, were only par-cooked, and the fried items weren't even fully fried. Spent an hour praying to the porcelain god later in the evening. Spent 50 bucks in terrible take out just to get sick. Do not eat here.

I was so happy to find that The Kung Fu has started doing Dim Sum! They offer almost all of my favorites, and the quality is excellent. Wait staff and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back for more!

This is probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had. They covered the whole to go box in sauce, including the egg roll and rice. It was leaking out the sides and the chicken was awful.

Authentic Chinese dishes OR dishes that many Americans think are Chinese, like sweet and sour chicken. Take your pick. You can have both here. I'm American and ordered from the Chinese menu. I give five stars because the service was good, the decor nice, and the Szechuan menu diverse. I had the hot pot. The server asked, how hot? I said medium, but it wasn't hot enough for me. I had to add table condiments. My fault. Next time I'll order hotter.

This is my first time eating at this restaurant and I ordered $30 worth of food because I was starving and craving two different dishes. I ordered fried dumplings that are absolutely awful due to the fact that the chicken inside was not fully cooked. I also got the Mongolian chicken that had little to no flavor and more water or sauce in it than anything, I also asked for it extra spicy which was not received. Last ting I got was the General tsos chicken which is the best food I've received out of this order besides the fact that it is over cooked. I'm just disappointed that this restaurant has little flavoring and doesn't check to make sure everything if fully cooked or not overcook everything Overall it was delivered with care and packaged well. Delivery driver was nice and polite!

Today was my second time ordering from here. last week my food was hot and fresh. I loved it! This week it was hot and stale. Mushy old meat. Too bad. Disappointed. $25 for old reheated Chinese food. I know businesses are struggling right now but, so are people and when you spend money, you want to make sure you get your moneys worth. I wouldn't have paid $5 for the food I got tonight. Unless they respond and make this right, I won't be back.

Garbage Restaurant owned by another MSU student who does not care for it much. The management is once again some Chinese "getting by" folks who tries best at ripping off the American Orange Chicken Goers. Authentic??? Really??? The "Chef" is not even from the region of the cuisine. The "food" here is absolutely a disgrace to Chinese cuisine. The lack of Chinese customers they have hint at the fact that their inventory is most likely old and farthest thing from fresh. If you read this review, take a moment and think about it.

Doing take out is a much better experience than it is doing delivery. Almost every time I order delivery something wrong happens to my order. I order from this place often as I prefer authentic Chinese food compared to its Americanized rivals. Today, knowing I'd be busy for New Year's Eve and not having enough time to cook, I ordered food with the intention of " maybe I'll get the food before I get home" with the delivery system. Until I realized it would cost $20 more for a delivery than just to pick it up on my way home. The only catch was that the person who picked up food ahead of me took my order. And I must have been the last to order a particular dish because when I explained to the staff that there was nothing there for me to pick up and she told me they ran out. They were gracious and provided me with the next best thing. And even included a box of fries for free which proved useful for hungry kids while we waited for our food to be reprepaired. The staff member was friendly and apologetic which it wasn't even their fault. But overall, my food was served steaming hot. Very well prepared and worth the extra ten minutes it took to do all over again.

Very yummy. Super authentic. The customer service was awesome. Chatted with the server about several topics. They made me what I wanted. It was something not on the menu. I'm so happy I found this place. Will be definitely coming back here for date night with my bf.

We've been coming here since we moved to Lansing 3 years ago. The owner has always been very pleasant and although their wait staff don't speak English well, you can see their progress through the years that they have been trying to learn and now the lady who waits on us can even take order on the phone now. The Sichuan style dishes are always the bee's knee. Even though I've never been to Sichuan province in China, I know what good food tastes like. This place just knows flavors and every dishes we tried (off the authentic menu, we haven't tried American Chinese menu, why would you when you can experiment?) has been explosion of deliciousness. All Chinese restaurants always look a little dingy, but Kungfu definitely is much cleaner than a lot of places and sure knows how to deliver scrumptious meals. Worth every penny!

Used to be our go to for szechuan/ asian carry out. But the last 2 times have changed our minds. A couple of months ago our order came with hot and sour soup which is our favorite. I had to spit out the first spoonful , something was terrible wrong with it. My latest order came with egg rolls that were filled with undistinguishable mush and egg foo young which is supposed to be made with mung bean sprouts but was made with cabbage. Yuck. Don't know what is going on with them but their food used to be so good. I won't be going back.

I had wanted to try this new Sichuan restaurant for a few weeks now, but the final incentive came in the form of a free appetizer coupon in the mail! I grabbed a few friends and headed over on a Saturday night. The place was filled (with chinese people) around 5:30, so that was a very good sign. We ordered a cold appetizer- the spicy tofu ($5.95). It was incredible! The mala flavor of the sichuan province was very well represented in this little dish. It is extremely spicy, so order it with caution. All three of us enjoyed that one a lot. We ordered three entrees- fragrant eggplant ($9.95), sichuan shrimp ($12.95), and mapo tofu ($9.95). All three were fantastic! The fragrant eggplant was sweet and tangy, but not spicy at all. I asked for a side of chili oil, so I was happy. The sichuan shrimp was amazing! Nice succulent shrimp with vegetables in a spicy sauce. I will be ordering that one again for sure. The mapo tofu was also very authentic, so vegetarians, be warned, there is ground meat in this dish. We ate our hearts out! The only reason I didn't give this place all 5 stars was because the service was a disaster. There were only 3 waitresses for a packed house, and most of the guests, including us, were getting impatient for refilled drinks, food orders, etc. I hope this gets more streamlined as they get into the swing of things. If you're looking for an authentic chinese meal, definitely try this place!

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Kung Fu by some Chinese friends. Kung Fu is located in Frandor, next to Big John's Steak and Onion. This restaurant used to be a Los Tres Amigos Express. The decor inside is rather plain, but most importantly, appeared to be very clean. Kung Fu has a lunch buffet during the week for $6.50. My friends said the lunch buffet has some fairly authentic Chinese food on it. I asked my friends to order what they felt was good, and the most authentic, as I have been searching for a non-Americanized Chinese restaurant. They told me that the style at Kung Fu is more Northern-China, and spicy. Kung Fu is known for spicy dishes, in fact, when you go to their website, their tagline is "We will spice up your throat". If you aren't into spicy food, there are several non-spicy items on the menu. We shared several dishes including: - #06 -Sichuan Cold Chicken- A delish appetizer that was sliced cold chicken, with a flavorful sauce, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds (non spicy). - #43- Spicy Rabbit- Cut up roasted rabbit with a spicy sauce- very tasty, just have to get used to eating around the bones a bit. - #45 Fatong Fish- A huge, hot bowl that contained the fish that was cooked in a spicy broth with vegetables. This was spicy, but I find if I did not eat the peppers directly it was really good and flavorful. - #79 Green Pepper with Beef- This was a non spicy dish with cooked strips of beef and green pepper- this dish had a lot of flavor and was much better than the standard beef/peppers at Chinese restaurants. #122- Sweet Potato in Sticky Rice Pie- This dish is listed under desserts, but we ate it with our meal. I was picturing a pie, but this really looks more like a cookie. The sweetness level was low, it had about the sweetness of a sweet potato. It was lightly fried and coated in sesame seeds. I really enjoyed this one! Now that I have had a tutorial from my Chinese friends, I feel excited to go back and try some more authentic Chinese food. They said I really can't go wrong with the menu, and the dishes above are their personal favorites. The service was friendly, and the food came out fast. I recommend checking out Kung Fu if you are interested in eating some authentic Chinese food in the Lansing area.

I THINK I'm a fan ... two visits thus far, first a Very Good 'orange chicken' and the second a mediocre [at best] 'lemon chicken' ... location tucked between Medawars and Big Johns north of Frandor earns no points for ambiance, has been off/on Chinese joint in several iterations now ~ its linoleum or take-out neighborhood owner-op working hard to make their margins ... this one has promise. Bad News first - lemon chicken call-in was a plastic bin of yellow sweet sour stuff to pour on a shoeleather patty ... i've had worse but wont eat this again. Good News is that when i sat at counter on busy Friday night as walkin, i got the best orange chicken i've had [other than my own] on a long damn time. Dark meat, breaded, not overcooked, in very flavorful, authentically 'hot' [i beg for a bit of it but am not a Hot freak - find Chinese eateries reluctant to trust western palates]. Took a long time to make - old boy Chinese cook, working w/ scratch materials. Place was full of Chinese, btw - always a Good Sign. Ingredients fresh, staff works hard/fast and pays attention to what they're doing. Caught tail end of a lunch buffet and its probably better when you're there three hours earlier - not a large selection but if prepared well would be fine -- dinner 12 bucks / lunch 6 = Fair Enough, maybe on low side. Awful name - pay no mind. DO think about what you order - menu is still a little bit Original and you can probably find something a little out of the ordinary here ... but Apple Jade and Hong Kong are also Frandor area, and same can be said for them. Goin' back tonight This will never be a 5-star, but .we shall see ....

I used to eat here a lot. However, the most recent experience has made me never ever want to eat here anymore. Both my Gf and I ordered take out. It came fast. Only 30 minutes. But the quantity has reduced to half of what it was. The Horrible thing is. The food made two of us bad stomach. We spent a night dealing with medicine. I will not recommend you come here. There is no real chinese food in Lansing. Go to Ann Arbor if u want quality Chinese food.

Tried this spot because my regular place is closed Mondays. Positive, the shrimp fried rice was good. The rest literally inedible. General tso chicken and almond chicken were so dry I almost broke a tooth. It reminded me of Clark's turkey from Christmas vacation. Egg rolls were soggy and flavorless.

I've heard good things about this resturant, so I've headed there twice. The first time I was beyond being disappointed. The service wasn't service. Resturant staff seated us, then ignored us for about 30 minutes before we showed ourselves out. On my second visit, the staff was much more friendly. I had the Spicy Chicken, my wife had some chicken with broccoli dish. I must say, these guys don't mess around with the thai chillis... mine was HOT and delicious. I can imagine some unsuspecting visitors might order it, not realizing the ratio of chilli peppers to meat. Either way, I look forward to going there again... Assuming their issues with waitstaff are perminately addressed, this may pan out to be my favorite chinese resturant in town...

Absolutely the most authentic Sichuan food outside of China! You can always tell the most authentic when the people of that country is all you see in the restaurant. They serve bubble teas and fruit smoothies of all flavors, my fav happens to be red bean although they make a mean honeydew smoothie Lunch buffet between 11:30 ~ 2:00 during the weekdays, helps if you just want to taste without actually knowing what to order. They serve the exotic cold dishes like marinated tripe and beef, and more exotic hot dishes like pigs blood, pork intestines, sichuan boiled fish and the list goes on.

Pretty tasty take-out buffet choice for a quick lunch. I'm not sure what the dish was called, but the yellow noodles with the spicy red powder were a stand out! Very unique and flavorful. The staff is above-average helpful and polite, and the prices are fair for lunch, although the dinner menu seems a bit pricier. Now, I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food... but I have to applaud The Kung Fu for their interesting and diverse menu - especially for being in the Lansing area. Some items to note: Pig Intestine w/ Bean Curd, Kimchi and Pig Blood, Rabbit with Little Ginger... and many more curiousities I can't recall... If you're looking for an adventure in your mouth you should check The Kung Fu out! PS/They have Bubble Tea!!

Fast delivery, large portion sizes, delicious food! Had orange chicken & sesame chicken with two orders of ragoons. Chicken was super tender

I am giving this 4 star since it is hard to find such autentic and good quality restaurant in MI and OH area. Price is reasonable. We only tried 4 dishes so if I drop by this area again, I will eat at this place again. You gotta order its chinese menu session since this is their specialty. Its cantonese cuisine is very authentic.

My wife and I just found this place and are now thankful with how close it is! The service was excellent. Slow for a Friday night, attentive but certainly not overly. To start, we order the steamed dumplings, and egg drop soup. After that, we ordered another portion of the dumplings (yes we enjoyed them). I would recommend both. For our main course I had beef and broccoli and she had cashew chicken. Neither was overly salted or season, they both had excellent flavor with nicely cooked meat. We will be returning!

I read the reviews - raves about an out of the way, hidden gem. I would actually give it 2.5 stars. East Lansing/Lansing used to have much better offerings for Chinese/Szechuan/Vietnamese cuisine. I would agree that the service was attentive but not overly so. The hot and sour soup was hearty but just average in flavor. I chose the Mongolian Chicken with fried rice. I liked the fried rice. The chicken dish was bland and not spicy at all (the menu claims it is a spicy dish). I may try another dish, at some point. If the food works for you, the $5.99 lunch special is a good deal.
