"4505 Burgers & BBQ is a relative new comer to a location that has hosted BBQ joints for a mighty long time. The inside has only a couple of seats, but the outside patio is great on sunny days, foggy days and cold nights. The brisket is amazing, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One out of one Texans we polled declared it to be really pretty good. Oh, and they have Frankaroni." - Upperquad
"Backyard barbecues are as synonymous with summer as painful coming-of-age romcoms. But thanks to San Francisco, your landlord doesn’t allow you to grill on your roof, even though it seems totally sane on your end. That’s when we head to 4505. They make some of our favorite BBQ in the city, and if going in on a few pounds of brisket isn’t your idea of fun, they also make an excellent burger. The NoPa spot is turning out solid brisket and pork spare ribs, and serving everything on a semi-covered patio where you can people-watch all the action on Divisadero Street. "Grabbing a picnic table outside at 4505 Burgers and BBQ has its advantages. For one, you’re sitting outside, so no one can judge you for wearing that maroon Adidas tracksuit that you only bust out for concerts. For another, you get to enjoy some fresh air before you lock yourself in a room for a few hours with a bunch of people “secretly” Juul-ing. Aside from that, 4505 makes some of our favorite BBQ in the city. Go for the brisket, and if you’re not in the mood, the burger is pretty great, too." - will kamensky
