This was my first time at this store. I’m impressed. It’s massive and there are so many varieties of vegetables, snacks, shelf ingredients and more. We needed ingredients for a Thai curry. One staff member was kind enough to walk me around and help me gather the ingredients. Fantastic customer service.

I like that this store has many ingredients for meals that I like to make for my family, however this place has a bad smell, has rude staff and non-existent customer service. They behave like you walked into their living room to ask them for something. The first visit the lady stocking the shelves has a bad attitude because I asked where the soy sauce was located. I ended up finding it myself. The lady at the register did not say a word to me the entire transaction except the total. Today I had to go there for mushrooms and had low expectations based on the previous visit, but I found it really annoying just how checked out these employees are. The guy at the register did not speak to me except to say the total, then he kept the items I paid for close to him and did not hand me the bag, he just turned his head like I suddenly stopped existing. I had to reach across the checkout counter to take my paid for items. At the very least they can say hello to customers and hand them their purchased items. I won't be coming back. As a generally happy polite person, this place crashes my mood because I find them so rude and lacking in professionalism.

Wow! All the workers are so amazing and so kind. I love everything about this asian supermarket, there’s a specific manger here that I love so much. Her name is Tong, her smile brings joy and her laugh is so beautiful. I wish I could hit her up but she’s already taken, sadly! But, this place is just so amazing.

I came here the other night with a friend and they have an amazing selection. They have one of the best seafood sections I have ever seen. They have meats. I didn’t even know could be sold at a store. For example, the pig head. I think it’s absolutely amazing to have so many different options so many different cuts of meat. I got food for not only me but also to homemake food for my dogs. The workers were alright. The store was clean and the prices were fair. I will definitely be back for more seafood.

We love this place for bulk goods and snacks! So much to choose from and we always find something new to try.

Our closest Asian food market to us, which is still over 2 hours away. So I really stock up when we go. They have a wonderful variety of all products you would be looking for. Plus if you ask they are able to order whatever it is in the chance you couldn't find what you were looking for. They are fast and efficient during checkout along with being very kind and welcoming.

The workers at the Korean corn dog place are soo rude. Every time I come in they are just RUDE RUDE RUDE. ESPECIALLY the young boy with glasses he behaves like somebody has a gun to his head and he’d rather die than do his super simple job. Always rolling his eyes and just so upset Every time I patronize this establishment the cooks are so disrespectful and just rude to people that don’t look like them. I’ve never got a hello I’ve never got a smile I’ve never been asked if I needed help they are just so off putting and RUDE!! The doughnut ladies are always super nice any other department in the whole store is so nice and welcoming never any problems, but the other side, those kids are terrible at the corn dogs/ restaurant side. I keep coming back because the corn dogs and chicken dishes are really good but after the way that young boy behaved and acted with customers TODAY (10/20/25) I will never go back and I’m going to spread the word to my community that we should not support a business that does not want us there.

Dragon star is by far the best Asian grocery store in the twin cities!!! I absolutely love their fresh produce, meats, frozen section, drinks, and snacks and so much more! It's absolutely massive that's somewhat divided to two floors! The first floor has produce, snacks, drinks, frozens and even have a mochi donut and Korean corn dog spot! The second floor has a lot of the dry goods, fresh seafood, meat, frozens, kitchen utensils, ramen, and literally sooo much more! While we don't have an H Mart, I would say Dragon star is the closest to it!

This store has a huge selection of products from food to kitchenware. It also has its own to go food place which is nice. The variety of different cultures is great and makes it easier for a grocery trip. The register lines go by pretty quick. The aisles are labeled pretty well which makes is easier to navigate in a big space!

So many wonderful and diverse food items to buy and try. I love how affordable and fresh the produce is. Tons of delicious snacks, both sweet and savory. There's so much stuff, I can't even cover it all. Very spacious. Staff are okay. Not much interaction with them as it's just such a huge space that nobody is around really. I had difficulty locating specific ingredients or types of ingredients that I needed because there's just so many things and items are so diverse; labeling of the aisles would be nice. There's a small food deli inside with a small menu- some made fresh to order and some items in the cold food section. There's also mochi donuts you can get and a cotton candy machine maker you could try. Well worth a stop in. The parking lot isn't always the best as it's crowded and to maximize parking, the spots are angled closely. Be careful that you don't stick out too much to avoid someone backing into you.

This place is great. It has a large veggie section, boba, Korean corn dog, and donut section within the store. Fun to walk around just to look at stuff you wouldn't normally find in grocery stores.

The store atmosphere is very positive and seems quite popular. Service is very fast. The Suga Donuts are by far the best mochi donuts. Here's a new kitchen at Dragon Star. I haven't tried it but here's a menu for anyone visiting.

Good prices and selection. Came in search of narutomaki which i could not find anywhere else. I found it here along other variety fish cakes. And was about 3.50 for a 3.7oz compare to amazon at 18 for a 16oz. Plus 18 shipping. Clean inside... Friendly staff...

Admittedly, had driven past this store many times, but only finally stopped in when trying Soga Mochi Donuts. Decided to also check out the rest of the store. This is a great place to shop if you're planning an Asian-style meal, as some of the harder to find items can be found here. Also, a huge variety of snacks here, it has become our go-to for Japanese Kit-Kats and funky flavors of Lay's Potato Chips.

I ordered my food ahead of time for pickup through grub hub. After 20 minutes my order still hadn't been confirmed so I popped into the store. I told them the situation and they checked on my order. The guy came back and said they were having trouble with Grub Hub so the charge would reverse itself shortly. The guy apologized then he re-rung my order and quickly got started making it. My food came out a few Minutes later hot and fresh. My food is always delicious. I wish they had longer more consistent hours but I get why they don't. Grub hub called plus emailed about my reversal charge so everything worked out. The workers are quiet but nice It was a 10/10 experience even with that technical issue.

Great store. You can locate great ingredients here that are hard to find. Plus the donut and hot dog vendors. The only thing I cannot find here is lumpia. They have a large selection of sauces, noodles and even dishes. Allow at least 30 minutes to explore the store. They have many types of rice too.

There are closer Asian markets to me, but this is the one I go to. It is big enough that if you're looking for something you might need for anything remotely Asian-food related, you're as likely to find it here as anywhere in the Twin Cities. That even includes some kitchenware and appliances, but mostly it means every kind of rice, produce, meat, sauce, and frozen food item. Especially the latter! What really sweetens the deal is two counters they have in the front section: a Korean hot dog counter and a Soga mochi donut counter. Everything at those counters is tasty and made-fresh, and if you manage to get a big box of those mochi donuts and bring it to a party, you will definitely be the hero of that party. Unfortunately, ordering these items is challenging. Almost every time I come here, there is no one at the counters even though it's within their opening hours. Placing orders at these counters is annoying enough that I don't do it any more, but I'm told you can order the mochi donuts in advance somewhere on a website, and I'd recommend looking into that. I really don't like the parking lot. It's too small and a little scary. Just be careful when arriving & departing by car. It's never particularly clean, but in that area it compares with many large grocery stores that all of us would still patronize. If I were in charge I'd try to get better at that, but whatever; I'm still going to keep coming here for this stuff, and you should try it if you haven't!

This supermarket was so fun!! They have tons of cool and unique items to try! If you are feeling adventurous, give this place a try!! I got 3 different types of chips like chicken flavor Cheetos! I will definitely be back to try more items!! As for the in house street food area that serves Korean hotdogs, sandwiches, wantons, bubble tea ect... I would give that 3 stars. The bubble tea was average. The Korean hot dogs didn't really have flavor and were over cooked. The wantons have a sweet cream cheese and were cheap, they were tasty. Soga Mochi is right next to this and is DEFINITELY worth getting!! Overall, go check this place out!! I won't be back to the street food area but Soga mochi and the supermarket I will definitely be going back to!

Yes, just like the other reviewers Soga Mochi donuts brought me here! I came to check out this store to try out the gluten-free donuts from Japan. So delightful! Oh and to find a Korean Hot Dog stand, there too, was a bonus! Then when you pass the food court...into the grocery store...wow! You walk into a ginormous, overwhelming array of groceries...making it fun to walk through and explore! It's exciting to see all the interesting food and products.... like...OMG... hey have Japanese Hair Dyes! Now I used to buy Japanese Hair Dyes at United Noodles, but they have been lacking lately on Asian hair colors and makeup lately...so I was delighted to find these at Dragon Star! A fun place to visit, on a day when you have the time and be willing to explore!

The Soga Mochi donuts brought me here and I'm so glad they did. I so enjoyed walking through the store and seeing all the colors and interesting food. Their produce department was fresh and quite stunning in variety and colors. I bought some pea pods and Chinese cauliflower but it was hard to choose just a couple of things. I also scored a ginormous bag of puffed rice. I love that as cereal and can never find it in typical grocery stores like Cub, Hy-vee, or Byerlys. So excited about the puffed rice.

Drove from Rochester to Dragon star oriental foods for a big bag of oyster that cost me $65. called them 3 times and no one pick up. They don't have a voice message system set up so I couldn't leave a message to get a hold of anybody. Old expired product being sold.

Achievement unlocked - captured variety pack of Mochi Donut! The donut location has different hours than the grocery store. The line might seem long, but it moves quickly. Don't wait to late in the day, as they can sell out! All of the varieties are wonderful. Crisp yet fluffy morsels of heaven! Not too sweet - the donuts are craveable. If you haven't been to Dragon Star - go. Love this neighborhood gem. I love the diversity of foods.

This is the real deal. License plates from 4 states in the parking lot, Korean hot dogs and Mochi donut stands, and a nice surprise of cross pollination Mexican and south Asian foods. This is the first and only place I have been that sells a whole squid! My complaints: parking lot traffic is very dicey. Also, don't come here if you want to find one thing and get out. This is an experience type place, not a lot of signage. Bonus: many of the staff speak Spanish.

Good selection, especially the seafood! Vegetables are always good too. Love getting fresh lobsters from here.

What a great spot! United Noodles is my usual stop, but this was closer to my final destination so I popped in to see what their dim sum collection looked like. Now, I think this might be my new destination grocery store. You walk into what feels like a fairly unassuming Asian supermarket with produce, candy, chips... But, there's more! Through a little corridor, you're about to step into heaven. Rows and rows of plates and bowls, freezers stocked with fish cakes and balls, frozen meats and seafoods, and what I came for: an incredible selection of dim sum. Multiple options of each dim sum type. I got taro steamed buns, custard steamed buns, and pork and leek dumplings. So easy to whip up: I steamed the buns at home, and then pan fried the dumplings. They tasted as good as fresh! My family was impressed. I can't wait to come back here and pick up hot pot materials. It seems like the perfect place to load up on the extras that make meals truly special.

Dragon Star Foods has everything you could need, the store is surprisingly huge inside, bigger then it looks from the outside. In the back section you'll find fresh sea food as well as some live sea food. Dragon Star is also a good place to find Asian candy. Within Dragon Star is a jewelry store and Mochi Donuts.

As far as Asian grocery stores, this place is not quite the size of an Hmart but massive for Twin Cities standards. It also has the best produce section that I've seen locally in terms of size, variety, & freshness. But what brings the rating down was my experience navigating this place. There's boxes strewn all over, making isles narrow or blocked. I found myself backtracking a lot to also avoid people I wouldn't be able to fit around without touching during these COVID times. TIPS: - Bring some sanitizer spray. It was unclear if they wiped down the grocery carts. Of course, make sure you're masked-up too. They do have plastic barriers for the cashiers so that was nice to see. - Avoid the busiest times, especially weekends. They have a parking lot but it gets full easily. - Give yourself enough time to wander. There aren't employees to help you find anything so unless you know exactly where something is you may be looking for awhile. Wandering can still be fun, but be prepared for it. - Check expiration dates! I almost got some Indian spices but found they were over a year old. Same was true for some noodles I was going to buy. It's always good to double-check in any store. - Get the Boba Icecream Bars (frozen section in the back of the store)- they are def worth the hype! Overall, though the store comes off disorganized, it may still be worth it to stop by just for the produce!

This store expands from its original structure as I remember. They have more food and they are now more organized. Their seafood sections has been renovated as much more cleaner than before. The bathroom is where all the goods are and in the front row they have all the candies, so is a bit confused because all the food are not together. Their fresh meats, sometimes it's a hit or miss because some meat are changing color to blue brown, where, as some seems like freshly packed in new. I think there is nothing that you can't find in the store they have a lot of variety of ethnic food. The seafood counter offer, customer service, and sometime it's hard to find a worker that can help you locate things in the store. They have a couple lane of cashiers, which is good. Store is clean and nice but the organizations it's a little unorganized because some of the food and because are in different section of the stores. Their produce section is organized. They do have two restaurants in the store for Korean dogs and mochi donuts.. Parking sometimes in the weekend is a hassle. Because the parking is small. The store also has a jewelry or gold store in the front.

When sweet Thai basil is in season, I like to make spicy green curry. When I first decided to try making my own I began venturing out to different Asian markets around St. Paul. This time I headed here, Dragon Star. The store is on 2 sections. When you first walk in there is produce, snacks, candy, and some frozen food, as well as an area where you can order Korean hot dogs and mochi donuts. Then there's some stairs in the back area that lead you to sauces, canned goods, more frozen stuff etc. It's pretty well stocked and of course I didn't leave with just my list items. I saw they had frozen spicy, cheesy tteokbokki and I bought some to try. They also carry some latin food items which, as a Mexican, I could really appreciate. After reading the other reviews I'm kicking myself for not grabbing some mochi donuts too. There is always a next time. And there will definitely be a next time.

Huge variety, I was looking for Organ meat because I make my own dog food and I use only the best parts for my little Angel! The love of my life is a 5 pound Yorkie Poo. I want her to live a long and very happy/healthy life! I found cuts I hadn't thought of...like kidneys, stomach and uterus. I didn't buy stomach or uterus because I wouldn't be able to eat those parts, but they are an option.

I love visiting Dragon Star Oriental foods! It's overwhelming at first but I love the selection they have! Plus they have two shops inside that sell boba, mochi donuts, and Korean corn dogs! Plus I love they have various sections based on the culture! I loved visiting the Filipino food section!

Dragon Star is a fun store to shop. An amazing collection of international ingredients. Caribbean, Hispanic, European and Asian items to choose from, plus produce, proteins, and more. If you can't find it, ask! Super helpful and friendly staff.

This place can get crowded on the weekends and parking is awful but the store makes up for it. It is your friendly Asian neighborhood super market. You can get just about anything from here. They're not limited to Asian food and groceries but they also carry African and Mexican food. The Ramen noodle aisle is heaven for ramen noodle fans. The Asian snack aisle is my favorite because I get all my favorite snacks from there. I truly appreciate the amazing Asian supermarkets in MN because they're so unique.

This is probably my favorite Asian grocer for the following reasons: 1. They will likely have everything you need for any Asian cuisine. If they don't have it, you might have to substitute the ingredient. 2. The prices are right. 3. The produce is fresh. 4. There's variety (brands, types, sizes) for every product you are looking for! The reasons they didn't get 5 stars: 1. They perpetuate the stereotype of Asian's and poor customer service :/ 2. This is not an easy-to-navigate experience for a novice shopper of Asian ingredients. 3. It's not necessarily dirty (like, not disgusting), but you don't get a feeling of welcome and cleanliness when you walk into the store. Despite the critiques, I think the positives outweigh the negatives and I'm thankful for this place!

I always go to Hmong places all the time for food because I'm Hmong. This place is pretty amazing, I miss the deli isle for sure, its no longer there. The variety of things here is amazing. Brings up a lot of memories as a kid, all the candies I've ever eaten and more. It's a one stop shop for everything pretty much. Sometimes I go to other hmong stores and things are always missing or out of stock, went here one day, nope found everything we needed! :D There is a stench near the bathroom area, not sure what it is, it's a pretty bad stench but asides from that everything else exists. Not sure how price compares with other stores but I had an amazing experience here. I do hope the deli comes back! :D

Fun place to shop in an old Rainbow Foods. I get the impression that some of the shelf stable items are the same ones from when it was a Rainbow. 80% of the produce is sold on a styrofoam tray and wrapped in plastic wrap. I don't want to buy unnecessary garbage with my produce.

False advertisement. Post prices is different from actual price. Bad services. They charged me $32.00 per box. I talked to the supervisor and he just do nothing. He just said it a mistake.

The variety at this place is pretty amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. Picked up some cuts of pork, mangoes, coconut milk, bagged fresh pho noodles, ground pork, thin bean noodles, coconut juice, some garlic, frozen shrimp dumplings (dimsum style) at 6.99 for a 30 pack? Not bad considering dimsum costs like 3.49 for 4 or 5. Also got some Mr. Browns coffee, frozen meatballs, bean sprouts, and dried wood ear mushrooms. Was just browsing around at the cookware; a lot of good useful things at a very good price. Will have to come back!! The parking lot could be bigger, but it is what it is. Good place to find and pick up Asian ingredients.

This is a gigantic super-market ! I'd heard it was big but when I visited I was surprised at how far it kept going. I was overwhelmed and I can't wait to visit again. We took a family trip here because my sister lives up north and doesn't have access to a lot of special foods. You enter into their produce section with check-outs on your right. Beyond that is the market area and all of this seems like what you see is what you get. But if you walk straight back from the check-out area and up some steps it's like a warehouse of Asian specialty foods! Snacks, sauces, canned goods, dry goods, cook ware, incense, gifts, freezer foods, everything! Prices are great and they even have a discounted produce section. Bundles of ginger roots $1, eggplants 2 for $1, etc. You just have to check that the produce still looks OK and plan to use it pretty quickly. Staff is hit-or-miss. One staff member greeted me kindly and the one that checked me out didn't say anything at all. Doesn't bother me though The only thing that did bother me was that when I found the tofu section and went back to it I felt swarmed by shoppers...it was in a crowded corner near the produce while a staff member was stocking. Not their fault, there's just some clutter here and there.

I used to come here as a kid, and recently rediscovered it. Huge selection of foods, drinks and much more. Also has a Korean corn dog and mochi donut stand inside!

Wow. What a difference. This place used to be dirty, grimy, and just down right gross. But they've remodeled. And now it's clean, bright, and well organized. Frankly, I've avoided them for so long, I forgot what the original layout was like. Now, the meat department rivals that of the warehouse grocery stores, they have a large number of water tanks for fresh fish and seafood (including crab, clams, and various sizes of snails) and their entire seafood section is very impressive. They had squid, 7 or 8 kinds of shrimp, and large frozen octopus, just to name a few. They have a decent sized produce department with fresh fruit and vegetables, but their frozen section isn't very big. What's odd, too, is that the frozen foods is kind of in the middle of the produce department. I guess they figure the cold can help keep the vegetables fresh, but it was kind of strange. They also now have a small counter area that you could call a deli. They sell freshly made food as well as bubble tea. There was a decent line there, so it must be pretty good. When we were there, they were out of the "bubbles" for bubble tea, so that must be popular for them. We were there Sunday around lunch time and they were very busy. The parking lot was packed and a little tough to navigate. But it was a pleasant surprise to see how much they had improved. Dragon Star may be our new favorite Asian market to shop at. I know my wife has and will go here first for fresh seafood.

I cook primarily Chinese food, and while this market has great prices and a good selection of vegetables, it caters more to a Southeast Asian clientele--makes sense, since it's on the edge of Frogtown. The store is clean and bright and has tanks of fresh fish. I also see a lot of Africans shopping here and buying distinctly non-Asian ingredients (several varieties of plantains.) I live in the east metro, and if I need Asian vegetables or a couple of basic ingredients, I stop in here instead of driving over to United Noodle in Minneapolis. The produce department seems to have a brisk turnover, so I can always count on finding something fresh. However, I like to keep frozen jiaoze (dumplings) and steamed buns on hand, and this place has only a small selection. Still, it's a lot of fun to browse the aisles.

What can I say about Dragon Star?... Should I talk about the fierce stone lion twins at the front entrance? Should I talk about how the parking lot is a true nightmare on weekends? Should I talk about the incessant smell of fish from both the seafood section and the green papaya salads made-to-order in the back? Like a one-two punch of pungency? Should I talk about how they sell kimchi in giant Annie D.-sized jars? Affordable fresh herbs? Or avocados the size of summer squash, like the ones I used to eat in Argentina? Should I talk about how, during my youth, my Dad used to buy all kinds of crazy vegetables and creatures that he could almost never identify when it came time to cook them? Nah, this Asian grocery kinda speaks for itself.

This is one of my go to places in Saint Paul for Asian groceries: vegetables, sauces, paste, rice, shrimp, noodles-everything I need to prepare home made Cambodian, Vietnamese, & Chinese foods. You'll see there are a diverse group of ethnicities once you walk in. You'll also notice a bad odor which many of the Asian groceries have. I don't know why, but they do. You also get over it and continue shopping. The parking lot was packed on this day. You really have to be careful driving and seeing where your car is situated. People seem to forget about the safety of their car and other peoples cars. Let me tell you why, while I waited for a car to get out of a space another car maneuvered it's way between my car and the car which was leaving so he could get through. That was risky business as seeing there was minimal space. I had to hold my breath and asked myself what this person was doing. My car didn't get scratched, the car made it through, the guy freed up the parking space, and I parked happily! I do enjoy shopping here for their fresh and low price produce. They carry one of the freshest assortment of vegetables at a low price. There are fruits too, however I prefer my fruits from Target or Fresh Thymes. I also get my soy sauce, fish sauce, & stir fry sauces from here. They have cases of noodles I can live off of as well. I'll be back.

I'm a big fan of this grocery store because it consistently carries the best variety of tropical fruits in the Twin Cities. I have yet to find another store that offers baby mangos, cherimoya, Dragonfruit, and guava under $4 a pound. There's also a huge variety of fresh produce, beverages, deli items, and dry goods available here. The parking lot is a hot mess and the service is not the best, but it's hard to beat the product selection at the prices they are offering at this place. I would say don't go here on weekends because it gets crazy busy....leave some time during the week to stop in.

Sniff Sniff** Eww what is that foul smell? Now Now.. Don't judge it's book by it's cover. What you smell Yelpers, are the fresh live seafood located on the right side of the store! Besides that, their meat are pretty straight from the farm! I've never liked coming here because it was so nasty in the past but now since they've remodeled the area, it's actually better than before! They've also expanded the place. Check out the back of the store! It's pretty cool. This place focus in more SE Asian food items that are extremely affordable and now they are bringing in Imported African food items. I went to Cub Food, Super Wal-mart, Rainbow Food and Festival Food just to check on the price for Ox Tails and they were extremely overpriced! They ranged from $6-$15 a batch! That was very depressing. At Dragon Star, they were only $3-$4! Now you decide where you will get your groceries! Just make sure to watch out for the expiration date. Customers: Watch out! They are very rude! It's in their nature to accidentally run you over with their cart and not apologize. They'll also cut in front of you to get to the live crabs and crawfish! Next time when I go there, I'll wear the whole football attire... helmet included just to bash my way in and out of the store. Ha! Kidding! Parking- Is a nightmare. Just watch out when you back out of the lot. Some Customers are too anxious to go home to make their Pho! Lol... Kidding.

I can't believe I've never heard of this place until now. This place is AMAZING!! Best place I've been to in the Twin Cities since my move from California! This place had a great selection of stuff - grocery and otherwise. The meat didn't seem all that fresh, most were frozen, but they have a good variety in store. But beware that a lot of their specials they run out of. I wanted to get live tilapia and lobsters but they didn't have anymore tilapia and they only had small lobsters, which aren't worth the money. They have a huge selection of fresh veggies and fruits. Some I've seen before, some I've surprisingly not seen before! Interestingly enough they also were selling a bunch of random things - hats, clothing, jewelry, pinatas, school supplies. They have a dollar section of random items. They also have a HUGE warehouse of canned items and sauces, frozen meats and buns. This place is AWESOME and I will be back! I did think that their prices for anything non-veggie was a little on the higher side though for an Asian supermarket. Considering the volume they sell there it should be more competitive! They also have a little deli counter where they sell banh mi, boba (they were out today), and papaya salad (loaded with fish sauce, so only buy if you like it).

Have been going here for years and would only give it 2 stars up until now. Half of the store has been renovated and improvements are 100% better; much better layout and higher quality of the meat and fish dept. (and doesn't have that funky smell like others do). And, bonus, there are several English speakers on staff who are super accommodating to help you find items (was a crap shoot before now).

Quality I give average; they have wide selection of meat, fruit, and veggies. I believe the store can be even better like similar to their Brooklyn Park Store. Customer service still the same. Not the best but bearable. It's okay as long as they don't over ring but just a warning always review your receipt; once you walkout sales are final. Happy shopping!!!

What an amazing place!! We make our own kimchi regularly, and their prices on Napa cabbage are terrific. Lots of interesting produce and great deals. Amazing, at least for MN, selection of Asian veggies, noodles and staples and considerably less expensive than Amazon. Not limited to Asian items, either. Good selection of produce, spices and staples for Mexican menus, too. Lots of fresh and frozen meat and seafood, usual and unusual. The fresh seafood cases have had some issues, but seem to be resolving. Somewhat looser and less tidy organization than many domestic grocers, but we have never had an issue with anything we've purchased. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Language is sometimes a challenge, but easily overcome with photos and/or a bit of patience.

Great prices for the most part and a large selection of ethnic foods. My only dissatisfaction is that they require you to enter your PIN number for all debit cards.

Black fish, Blue fish, Old fish, New fish. This one has a little star. This one has a little car. Say! What a lot of fish there are. That was my thought about all the myriad items I was confronted with upon entering. I was happy to be able to recognize 30% or so of the produce. Many were varieties of items I knew but have never tried. I purchased a few odd ducks just on speculation. As far as packaged goods, a vast array of noodles, sauces, treats, and delicacies abounds. In the back room it seems they are also starting to stock some Hispanic and African style foods in addition to the predominant Asian theme. I have honestly never seen so many varieties of Fish Sauce. Seafood and meats also present a wide variety of the novel (to the average Midwesterner) . The place reminded me of United Noodles in scope and size. It seems a little less organized and a little more cramped. The staff seem a bit curt. Parking is a bit chaotic. Overall, a good market to put in the rotation.

This place is huge! Amazing variety of produce, dry goods, and household items from around the world. Very easy to get lost in this place; the staff were helpful and could immediately direct me to what I was seeking.

There is a wide range of asian cultures/regional ingredients and snacks to chose from. Found some Japanese cheese snacks that are usually really difficult to find in the states. The seafood and meat area and selection is okay. Love it, have frequented here, and will continue to return.
