"No question, this shack-stand at Ching Young Village Shopping Center in Hanalei serves the best acai bowls on the island. Also in Aloha’s line-up: juices, smoothies, teas, small treats, nuts, and bars. And attached to the juice bar is a produce stand with fresh fruit to-go. Photo: Brave Heart"

Google
I have ordered a tropical smoothie: passion fruit, mango, coconut, pineapple. Feels refreshing and light. A lot of choices for a tropical drinks and snacks, fresh fruits (I saw only two types of papayas: bigger one for $8 and smaller one for $4).

Google
8/10 - good service and good vibes brought it up from a 7.5 - acai bowl with mango 7/10: acai was all melty, not very many toppings. it's mixed with apple juice so kinda just tasted like apple juice... nothing special - dole whip swirl 8.5/10: kinda fire. some bites were too much cream to pineapple ratio but the parts with more pineapple were perfection!

This is a great juice and coffee stand! They offer a wide variety of both juices and coffee options. I especially loved their Dole Whip – it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Google
Okay the kale lemonade was actually amazing and felt so healing the power bowl was okay wish I would have got something else Honestly my 4 stars is for their incredible juices everything juice is so great! One less star cause Service was okay the girl doesn't know the menu super well was surprised when I ordered a kale lemonade cause she didn't think they served it. And she also yelled at a lady for not getting out of the street so a little aggressive although her style is super cute love all her jewelry just thought she could be a little kinder but the atmosphere is epic with the mountain we walked a little north to this seating area that they have cabanas across the street and it felt unreal having fresh juice and that view!

Google
I had their delicious acai bowl. Fast service, huge size, very satisfying.

Google
We set a goal on our trip to find best açaí on the island! This one was #4! Overall delicious and refreshing but the base wasn’t anything to write home about and the cups are very deep so toppings were just the first few bites! I will say the dole whip and macadamia nut cookie was super yummy!

Google
Looking for the best Acai bowls and fruit smoothies in Kauai? Although my personal favorite place is actually located in Maui, I've tried many spots. Unfortunately, most of them have a fake taste, too much sugar, or could simply be better. However, Aloha Juice bar is my new favorite spot, exceeded my expectations. The taste is absolutely delicious, fresh, and the honey adds a sweet and pleasant flavor without being overwhelming. I was so pleased with my first experience that I returned later the same day to order a larger bowl – I just couldn't get enough!

Google
I was really excited to have an açaí / smoothie bowl in Kauai. Unfortunately the smoothie bowl I ordered here was not good. It was like juice water, and two cups of granola with 4 pieces of banana. On top of that, the employee that helped me was not very friendly. I'm sure they see a ton of tourists but it turned me off. Try another spot.

Yelp
While visiting the Hanalei area, we were looking for a refreshing smoothie after lunch, and Aloha Juice Bar popped up as an option that fill everything that we were looking for! We have paid Aloha Juice Bar two visits during our stay, and I was able to try a couple of different options. The juice is located in an open lot area, with the menu to the left of the restaurant and when you have decided what you would like, the cash register just to the right of the menu. Service is fast - based on my two visits, you will get your order about 3-5 minutes after ordering. I got the 24oz Leilani ($14.50) smoothie bowl on my first visit and the 16oz Hanalei green ($10) on my second visit. Personally, I think that the 16oz size is already pretty sizeable for most people. The 24oz one is probably better to share between 2-3 people. The Leilani one included mango, passion fruit, papaya, banana, and then topped with sliced banana, granola, and a drizzle of honey. I also got some of the Dole whip ($4) soft serve on top since I wanted to sample as much as I could in 1 order. The smoothie bowl is pretty fresh! A super welcoming coolness in the warm Hawaiian humid heat. You can taste a bit of each fruit included in the smoothie, with the papaya coming forward a bit more than the other fruits. The texture with the granola is great - crunchy texture with the banana completing every bite. The dole whip is nice - it's not a watered down soft serve and there is a hint of pineapple. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Yes, the bowls can range from $10 - $15, but they are big hearty bowls of fruit smoothies! I think when visiting Hanalei, you need to keep in mind that pretty much every restaurant/store in the area offers food at a higher markup. I think that Aloha Juice Bar was definitely a refreshing healthy option in the Hanalei area, where most of the other food is indulgent and will make you feel like you just want something to cleanse your body afterwards. I would definitely recommend the $10 16oz smoothie bowls as they are the perfect size for the amount of fruit you get - feel free to give this juice bar a try when you're in the area!

Yelp
Been going to this place ever since i was a kid with family, and I got to take my bf here on our most recent trip, and he raved about it. He ordered the #1 twice, it was THAT good. Service is quick, and smoothie is so fresh, the views from the parking lot is also a plus.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
We love this place for fresh fruit smoothies. We get the #1 which has mango and other Hawaiian fruit. Highly recommended for a morning snack when in Hanalei.

Yelp
We wanted to try this place but it was never open when we were in the area. Finally we saw it open, long line but moved fairly quickly. Pretty pricing for a small cup of dole and there's a gaping hole in the middle where they swirled it around the cup so definitely got less than that cup full. It was good but we decided not to go back again. Custom service was friendly though.

Yelp
Dole whip! Yes! Food stand in the parking lot of a little shopping center with dole whip, lemonade and smoothies. Dole whip was refreshing after a morning at the beach. No good place to eat though unless you are exploring other shops then there might be seating across the street.
google avatar

Yelp
good smoothie bowls but pretty overpriced. I got the hanalei green one, but it melted super fast and became liquidy and not so appetizing. overall was refreshing but probably wouldn't come back to get it. not extremely unique or amazing.
google avatar

Matt R.

Yelp
Got two 24oz. açaí bowls. Was good. Too bad so expensive but it is Hanalei and plus inflation, too. No can help. Was over $30, and then you have to tip, too. Pressure and shame if no tip. But the bowls ono. Organic, too. Long line. Careful not to stand in the driveway while waiting because get cars moving by trying for park. Have to find seating nearby. Customer service was good.

Yelp
I was totally enticed into walking here and ordering by so many different things. Whatever ALOHA JUICE BAR did, it worked! First, the colorful shack close to the street. You can't miss it! But it's still in the Ching Young Shopping Center parking lot, so we wouldn't have to risk life and limb, nor annoy other motorists, just to pull over and grab some snacks from here! Also, there was a giant sign that says "Dole Whip". Who could say mo to a frozen pineapple treat in the middle of summer in Hawaii? Also, the dole whip was served on a half-papaya! So we're getting two tropical fruits in one treat! The servers are very fast. Not island time at all. They're so fast that when we got our order, my dole whip was still perfectly frosted. It took me more time to fumble through the payment and the camera for photos than for them to make my order. It's a shack, so there is no indoor seating. There is a bench for the seniors and kids to rest on, but this treat is best enjoyed outside, in the fresh Hawaiian air, under the blue sky with fluffy clouds.

Yelp
Aloha Juice Bar is grab and go shop serving smoothie bowls, smoothies, pressed juices, wellness shots and dole whip. The red stand is located in the parking lot of the Ching Young Village shopping center. There's a beautiful mural next to the stand. We ordered two bowls - the açaí and Leilani. Dare I say best açaí bowl ever?! The passion fruit honey drizzle and the peanut butter toppings are a must. I probably wouldn't have chosen the peanut butter topping on my own but it came highly recommended by so many. So glad I listened. It was delicious! The Leilani was also scrumptious - we only added the passion fruit honey drizzle to this one. After having a bite of the açaí with peanut butter, I felt like this was missing something. I still enjoyed it. There are plenty of other toppings to choose from if the peanut butter or the passion fruit honey drizzle don't sound appetizing to you. Bowls come with bananas and nut free granola. There was no line when we arrived but one started to form as we waited on our order. The wait was reasonable. The stand/parking lot can get busy depending on the time of day but it's worth it. If you don't feel like standing in line and prefer to wait for things to slow down, there are plenty of boutiques and shops you can visit. We enjoyed our bowls at Hanalei Beach.

Yelp
Try w prices are kind of absurd, but it's a complete tourist area and the juice is fresh, so it is what it is. Even a juice takes 5-10 minutes when they have other orders, so it seems like they're juicing it fresh. The pineapple lemonade was very refreshing, a little bit tart. They don't load it up with a ton of ice, which is a nice bonus. The drinks at the Mediterranean place are lacking, but I combined food from there with my lemonade and it was a nice lunch.

Yelp
It was a very warm day and we were looking for a little treat to cool us off. I ordered the #7 smoothie which contained pineapple, mango, guava, and passion fruit. The smoothie was fantastic and it was perfect for the weather. I would definitely come back for another!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Every juice I saw that others ordered looked delicious! They have a wide variety of flavors, toppings, and bowls! Super quick service and delicious juices/smoothies I miss guy he back to try a smoothie bowl!

Yelp
There pineapple dole whip with chocolate chips ips awesome! The banana bread is really good too .When we walked up to order the lady was so nice. It was a little food truck in a little town. Definitely go here!

Yelp
This is a great juice bar! Everything is made from fresh fruit grown and locally sourced as much as possible. There are all kinds of combinations of juices and smoothies you can get. They also have Dole whip and will make variations on it, for instance, a Dole whip float. I had a smoothie with all my favorite tropical fruits in it, papaya, pineapple, mango, lilikoi (passionfruit), and guava. Mmmmm, it was delicious and refreshing on a hot day!

Lauren C.

Yelp
We went to get an Açaí bowl and the price on the board was $14.50 for a large bowl. We added two toppings, blueberries and chocolate chips, which were both $2. The total came out to be $26.18, which confused us. The young lady working explained that "every $1 becomes $2 due to the owner just passing." As heartbreaking as that is, I think the pricing should still have been displayed on the board. People would be more willing to "donate", rather than not explaining the situation and taking peoples money. Not to mention the fact we got peanut butter instead of blueberries. Nonetheless, it was tasty. I just would have appreciated better service and communication from this establishment.

Yelp
Phone number online is disconnected. I can't find their phone number anywhere. Smoothies and drinks were excellent!

Jolie M.

Yelp
Amazing little stand in the Hanalei shopping center. $6.50 for dole whip and we came back lots of times! Can also get smoothies and fruit bowls. Yummy!

Frappuccino 1.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! I have to start by saying, I live in CA and I would hop on a 5 hour flight to Kauai just for this açaí. I took one bite and got sent to another dimension. The service was quick but only one lady running it so expect atleast a tiny line. It was phenomena, best açaí I've ever had.

Yelp
We came here on a normal summer day. The line was long, about 15 people. However it was moving pretty quickly. We ordered a smoothie bowl but I was surprised I didn't here an actual blender going during the whole time I was standing in line. Turns out the bowls are premade and they didn't really taste fresh. That was disappointing and we weren't really a fan of the smoothie bowl which didn't have the right flavors. It was disappointing and I'm not sure I would stop here again if I had the choice, since the flavors were all just bland and didn't seem like there was much to look forward to...

Yelp
I love dole whip I had to get some before leaving. This is a cute place. I ordered the pineapple dole with frozen strawberries and it was so good. I went back and ordered the swirl pineapple and vanilla with strawberries and it was amazing. The service was a little slow but it was worth it.

Yelp
This place deserve a 5 star review for the amazing acai bowl, smoothie, smoothie bowl (what a genius idea!) and dole whip. They even have wellness juice shot (ginger/turmeric etc.). A local recommended it to us because the other place we wanted to go was closed. (Which we went the next day, and THIS place is way better). So underrated compared to some other places nearby. The portion is so generous and price is just right. Smoothie tasted very fresh and natural - no weird sweetener or excessive sugar. Look at the over flowing peanut butter - for the same price one of the other spots known for their açaí bowl gave me barely anything and the bowl was smaller too. This is it. Plus the smoothie choices are AMAZING. And smoothie bowl???? Omg I could eat this everyday. Granola was crunchy and fresh. Papaya dole boat was one of the best dessert we had - the combo of pineapple and papaya = the perfect tropical flavors. Service was okay, wasn't the fastest but the line was long, so no complaints what's so ever. Not a lot of seating by the smoothie truck, but there are some tables and chairs nearby. Wish we came more often!

Erin F.

Yelp
Watery bowl with skimpy toppings. Save your money. Was almost completely melted when she handed it to me and I have a hard time believing it had 4 types of fruit. Tasted mostly like water with a little fruit flavor.

Abbey H.

Yelp
We got a yummy smoothie here. Service was great. Plenty of seating in the shopping area

Yelp
Wait.... Where's my dole whip? Ordered a nearly $6 dole whip and it is entirely hollow inside. This can't be right, so we asked the staff. She said it's supposed to be like that because that's how customers want it(???) What?! Buyer beware. This seems wrong to serve something that's entirely hollow.

Mariely S.

Yelp
Visiting from Fl stopped at Juice Bar. Ordered a strawberry banana w/ passion fruit juice. It was refreshing and delicious !

Yelp
Kids were craving sweets after kayaking and were very excited to get a chocolate dipped banana and dole whip ice cream. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and patient with the kiddos as they tried to figure out their dessert orders.
google avatar

Yelp
tbh the pic says it all. perfect for the weather and it hit the spot for some sweet fruity and delicious.
google avatar

Brandy W.

Yelp
Okay açaí bowl. It was missing strawberries or blueberries, or ANY berry on top. For about $10 with tip, we got a small size and it didn't taste like authentic açaí like I'm used to and have had at MANY places on multiple islands and I make it at home myself. It tasted too sweet for my taste and we didn't even opt for honey (my daughter isn't a fan). Ate every bite, but would like another açaí another time from a roadside stand with a bit more authentic flair.
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
Mmmmm. Dole whip was amazing, the number 26 drink was also delicious. Super friendly service! Nice place to walk around and get gifts and snackies
google avatar

Nin J.

Yelp
Refreshing midday snack hit the spot on a warm sunny day. Walk up, order and take a seat until your order is called or take it to go and enjoy at the nearby beach like I did. Enjoy your bowl while checking out the scenery.
google avatar

Ray L.

Yelp
This place is soo good. Got my fruit fix for sure. Nice cold smoothie bowl on a hot day. Granola is so tasty. Fruit is fresh and blended on the spot. Also got banana bread and a smoothie and they were amazing as well. Picnic benches to sit on and free parking also.
google avatar

Georgie T.

Yelp
I got the tropical sunrise bowl with coconut flakes, and it was delicious. The actually smoothie is super yummy. The girl working was so nice and friendly and she gave her honest opinions about the bowls which was very helpful. This place is the cutest little stand and it's perfect for instagram photos. The only thing I didn't love is that they only put 3 toppings on top of the bowls, and the rest are an additional cost, but honestly my bowl was great regardless.

Spencer E.

Yelp
they say they open at 9am, but they open when they feel like showing up. i really wanted a acai bowl but have been waiting an hour and 15 minutes. they still don't feel like showing up.
google avatar

Tigah M.

Yelp
Nice açaí bowl with fresh blueberries and bananas. I did not try the Dole whip but the cone seemed pricey at $6.25 compared to the heaping açaí bowl for $8.50. They close at 1pm for lunch for about 30 minutes.

Kinsey P.

Yelp
I was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint!! I really wanted to try dole whip and it was amazing! The passion fruit honey drizzle on the acai bowl was absolutely amazing!! The girl working was very nice and efficient! I highly recommend this place!!

Josh P.

Yelp
We got the açaí bowl and strawberry shake and loved both of them. Would definitely come back.
google avatar

Kalyn C.

Yelp
Best smoothie bowl on the island! I got this multiple times while staying in Kauai. The number 9, bad ass smoothie bowl, was fire!! It's almond milk, mac nuts, almond, protein powder, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting and it's topped with banana granola and honey. Yum!! My husband also enjoyed the number 7 smoothie!

Maria D.

Yelp
This is a grab and go place along the highway, in the Ching Young Village. We tried their Acai Bowl, very good and satisfying! We also ordered the ginger lemonade and it was good and refreshing after a long drive. Service was good! The cashier was very helpful and nice!

C R.

Yelp
Stopped by twice for fresh pressed juice with kale, spinach, turmeric, lemon juice, pineapple, Starfruit They have a good variety of fruit, vegetable, cold pressed and smoothie drinks, acai fruit bowls,. If you want fresh, go here
google avatar

Kendra N.

Yelp
We ordered the $6, 8pz Dole Whip and it's hollow inside. What a rip off. They were also out of cones. smh.
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
This was such a fun find during our North Shore visit. We even went back the next day for more because we loved it. The dole whip is simple but so perfect. I loved ordering a smoothie but turning it into a bowl. The line was long both times we went it moved very quickly.
google avatar

Karmen G.

Yelp
Staff seems young and annoyed, but who hasn't been there before .. I had a smoothie and it was delicious, so no complaints. I ordered #26 (papaya, banana, coconut, guava)
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
This review is for the acai bowl only, which unfortunately was not good. We had acai bowls from Anake's a couple days before and were so impressed with the quality, this just couldn't compare. We only topped with 1 fruit, because every other offering was frozen - papaya was the fresh offering of the day. The bowl was small and every topping was $1-1.50/each. The bowl was drowning with honey so it was overly sweet. The acai mixture was also quite sweet compared to others we've previously had and was blended too watery consistency. Not worth it, should have gone back to Anake's!
google avatar

Kaitlin M.

Yelp
Delicious vegan dole whip with coconut! Staff was friendly, and this hit the spot! Will be back if I'm ever in the area :)
google avatar

Jordache S.

Yelp
These were some of the best açaí bowls we have on the princeville side of the island! They used super fresh ingredients and had some specialty fruits and honeys native to hawaii. The service was fast and they were super helpful with recommendations. Great location with lots of stores, shops, and other food places around.
google avatar

Lorene P.

Yelp
Refreshing Smoothie and Dole Whips!!!! This place is popular so be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for your order. They have a variety of smoothies, açaí bowl, Juices , and even Noni shots. Yes, Noni shots. If you can hold your breath, a Noni shot, is super healthy for you!!! Everything is made form fresh fruits!! Their colorfully decorated juice truck is so cool!!!
google avatar

Dennis A.

Yelp
The red head that works in the back was very rude. They forgot two things on my list and acted like it was my fault. She needs some training in customer service! I should have read all the reviews about the snotty girls who work here before I bought anything. Too many 1 stars for my taste. I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Owner/staff was very nice to give us a dole whip even though they were closing and we ran up as they were shutting down. We got the last one. The dole whip was fantastic. We will come back and next time not so late.
