Chill Anywhere

I was skeptical, but Chill and its staff blew me away! They offered hot tea, lemon/lime water, and a tour of the facilities right when I walked in. The vibe lives up to its name! My yoga + meditation class was wonderfully soothing and relaxing. I definitely plan on going back again soon!

Chill. From the moment you walk in, you begin to feel calmer and more relaxed. The space is beautiful and the staff is attentive. A perfect oasis in a landscape of hustle and bustle. The day long retreat I attended was amazing. It was my first time meditating in-person with an instructor and wasn't sure how I would like it. I absolutely loved the experience and can't wait to attend another. The Sound Bath and yoga sessions were equally amazing. Whether you are looking for a break from your frenzied day or a place to practice on-going self-care, Chill is the answer.

From the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. I love the simplicity of the decor. The studio is white and gray with just one simple, yet stunning photograph on the wall of a lake view. Very calming, very clean, very simple - and beautiful hardwood flooring throughout. Very nice and thoughtful touches throughout the studio starting with the relaxing space out front which includes two hanging chairs. The lockers have phone chargers inside so no stress when you leave and head back into the real world! You'll be ready to go. The relaxation room is so nice with a small, calming fountain. I attended the Breathe Meditation class and as a first timer, the instructor made me feel welcomed and immediately set me at ease. She led me through a class that left me feeling relaxed and peaceful and inspired to continue the practice! If I had time, I would have stayed for a chair massage! Next time. Thank you for making my first meditation experience a memorable one and something I would like to continue in my life. I'll be back.

I absolutely love everything about Chill! My last meditation and yoga session with Alma was amazing. You can really feel her authenticity and it was hands down my best meditation experience, ever! The studio is so relaxing and clean. The whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Can't wait to come back!

I love Chill Chicago! The space is beautiful and calming--it feels like a spa. The meditation classes are a great way for me to either take a break from work during the day or transition from work to home at the end of the day. I always feel so much better after I go. The staff is friendly and helpful. This studio is truly a gem here in Chicago! I also just went on the staycation retreat this past weekend. It was the perfect weekend to stay in and do yoga, meditate, and relax. It's a given that the yoga and meditation sessions were fantastic. What really blows me away is just how attentive the staff is, how friendly, and how they create an excellent experience. Seriously, from the beautiful goodie bags (leather-bound journals, David's tea, and more!) to the room set ups to the meals, they do it right and with care and quality.

I had a fantastic experience at Chill! I recently took a yoga and meditation class with Cari and it was an amazing way to start my Sunday. The yoga portion woke up my mind and body while the guided meditation helped to focus my breath and center my thoughts. The studio itself is impeccably clean and well designed. I will definitely be returning to Chill and look forward to taking some of their other classes!

I was in Chicago in business. Chill Meditation was recommended to me by a friend. I attended a "Rest" class led by Julianne Farrell. What an excellent experience! The facility is in a great location, is clean and well-staffed. Everyone there is knowledgeable and professional. I completely enjoyed the entire experience! As a visitor to Chicago often, I will schedule my trips around their class offerings. Thank you to all at Chill and you will see me again soon!

I recently went on Chill's spring meditation and wellness retreat in New Buffalo, Mich. The best part of the retreat is that I still feel relaxed and have carried the energy and lessons from the weekend into my daily routine. I'll preface it by sharing that prior to the retreat, I meditated maybe a dozen times. I went on the retreat because I wanted to incorporate more meditation into my life. Now, meditation is not only something I do, but I look forward to. The entire retreat beat my (always high) expectations. Chill's retreat included two nights at the Marina Grand hotel, five meditations, three yoga sessions, a class focused entirely on breathing, a gong bath and wellness sessions on goal setting and mindful eating. I can't say enough about Laura, who ran the retreat and runs Chill; Cari, who led the yoga sessions; and Darrell who led the meditations. The hotel was lovely - our room had a fireplace and two Adirondack chairs on the marina-facing patio - perfect for your morning coffee. The retreat also included two dinners and breakfasts - all were very good and catered to all dietary needs. We had time on our own for lunch on Saturday and my friend and I wandered into town for lunch at Beer Church Brew Co. We capped off our weekend perfectly with meditation and yoga focused on loving kindness before saying goodbye to our new friends. The retreat was perfect mix of spiritual and wellness guidance and also provided necessary time for us to reflect on the lessons of the day. I'm so happy I went and I'm already looking forward to going back to Chill and to the next retreat in the fall.
