We just had our brunch here today to celebrate my birthday. The dining atmosphere is elegant but homey. The food were very fresh and delicious. It's worth the price. The staff are very kind and accommodating as well. We had a great dining experience here. The Fatted Calf is higly recommended if uou wanted to have an amazing dinjng experience. We will definitely come back here.

The Osso Buco is a different take of Calderetta but better and not as powering. The beef is super tender and paired with the mushy pea and herbs is superb. The roasted chicken was equally tender and soft like it melts in your mouth. We also had the roasted mushroom soup that has this naturally creamy taste. It was so good. The staff are friendly always smiling and gave a great service while we were there. The kids menu was good as well and my son had the mac and cheese and ate it all quickly. It was that good.

Service was great. All staff were kind, prompt, and kid-friendly. The minor downside was just the flies during our visit (it's an open-air restaurant, visited at lunch time). Food were made from fresh ingredients and each dish had a fresh and unique taste that we liked. The staff also explains about the dish every time it's being served. We will definitely dine again next time. Thank you, the Fatted Calf Tagaytay!

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Fatted Calf in Tagaytay! The food was delicious especially the steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. They even surprised us with a complimentary cake for our anniversary, which made the evening even more special. Truly a memorable experience—highly recommended!

One of the amazing meals we had in Tagaytay! We especially loved the Red Curry Beef Pot Roast — tender, aromatic, and perfect for a rainy lunchtime. The restaurant’s ambiance was quiet and calm, which we really appreciated. The only miss for us was the pork skin in the Crackling Pork Belly — it was rubbery and tough to chew (something we forgot to mention when the staff asked, since we were having such a great time). Other than that, the meat was tender and paired perfectly with the purée and sweet potato. We’d recommend skipping the drinks though — nothing special, and a bit pricey for the quality. Will definitely bring our family and more of our friends here! 🥰

The Fatted Calf is such a charming place, great for slow lunches or weekend catch-ups. Some dishes really impressed us (loved the fresh catch!) while others weren’t quite our fave. Overall, it’s a warm, thoughtful spot with a cozy farm vibe.

My boyfriend and I had our Valentine's dinner here. Everything was perfect - ambiance, service, and food. I also liked how the chefs are hands on with their customers. Unfortunately, we forgot our waiters' name on that night... but all the staff that assisted us were attentive and caring, even though we dined very near their closing time. And we'll never forget how, despite ordering more than enough for our small appetites, we never felt "umay" because of their food. It just shows how fresh and healthy their food is. I was really impressed! Will definitely come back for more. Thank you Fatted Calf for making our Valentine's evening so memorable!

Food was okay, had their 10 hour roasted cow leg. Crust was kinda dry, inside meat was tender and good but you kinda have to dig through a lot of meat. The terrines were alright. The octopus tentacle was a 9/10 for me, not the typical basque style of cooking, honestly tasted like pork bbq which was amusing to me. Service was good. The catch of the day was cooked(gindara/sableeye) perfectly and flavored well. Imus longganisa pasta was great 10/10. The salad we ordered was a little strange, it had an espresso vinaigrette dressing which I guess I just wasn't used to. The tres leches cake was probably the best version I've ever had. Atmosphere of thebplace was nice though. If you happen to be in tagaytay I'd drop by. Definitely has value for moneg.
